Great game and Very highly recommended.
Though a very simple concept the game is addicting. Graphics are simple but match the mood of the game and fun to watch. I’ve tried all 3 of these Simon’s Cat games and this is number 2 of 3. 1st is Simon’s Story, something along that line due to the added story development along with a fun and challenging game play. None of the 3 games have difficult games but they do get harder very early on and it’s not easy getting the 3 stars for fully mastering that spot. Lots of fun and very much a set of games to enjoy with children. Hard to find that type these days and still enjoy playing even if you’re only an adult. I’m currently sick in bed with a bad head cold and this game as well as the other 2 have helped me pass the time without wearing myself down trying to solve other types of games. Believe me these are not simple nor easy if you’re satisfied with only 1 or 2 stars but are the type who goes for the hold, ie 3 gold 🌟. Though you can buy coins they don’t seem to be needed and there are multiple ways of earning them within the games. Very nice touch. Kudos to the developers. Great game, lots of fun for all ages, and free. Can’t beat those characteristics with a stick! Very highly recommended.

Unhappy with new changes
I really love Simon’s Cat Crunch Time but the newest updates are really annoying and irritating! The first I noticed was that you MUST use your accumulated Catnips as soon as you have 25 collected. I liked to accumulate more than 25 before I used them. It’s a small change, I admit, but I don’t like it. However, what made me decide to come write this review is a change that might—after enjoying and playing this game for at least the last year—make me quit playin Crunch Time for good. Before this change, when you lost a level you could start the level over from the beginning with a remaining life or you could pay 70 coins for five more moves and hopefully win. No more! Now, if you lose, a choice pops up. The player can either pay the 70 coins for five more lives or you can quit and start over but you lose one of the lives you have. For example, you lose a level, and you had 4 lives left when you started the level. But if you decide to not pay 70 coins and start over your 4 lives has changed to 3. I hope that makes sense. At any rate, I think it’s pretty sleazy and clearly a way to get players to buy more coins for actual coins. But for this player, the result will be that I find a new game. It’s too bad because I love Crunch Time and it’s a go-to game for me, especially when I have to spend time in a waiting room, and, truthfully, just when I want something fun to do.

Needs work...
I love this game and have been playing it since day one. However, the following issues need to be addressed: 1. Every time I try to play the tournaments on my iPad mini, if I win the level and hit the arrow button to go back to the tournament level page, the game stops, I'm back on my dashboard page, and when I reload the game and get back on the tournament it puts me on the same level I just played with a zero score. 2. There is no point in having a help button if it does nothing when you push it. 3. When I play on my laptop it will sometimes not load and I get a message saying that my memory is full and I need to reconfigure the settings, but when I go to check this, I still have more than enough memory left. 4. The prices for coins purchased with actual cash are a bit unreasonable; other games I play have a price level lower than this one-for example, the $1.99 level is good, but then the next level jumps to $9.99? It would be nice to have something in between. The new "starter pack" deal is great, however. 5. There should be an incentive for winning a level, other games I play give a few coins or keys which you can save or trade for the bonus items after every level you win. It doesn't have to be much, even 1 or 2 coins or whatever would be great. If these items were fixed I would happily give this game 5 stars as it is fun. Developers, please pay attention to the players comments for ways to improve the game!

Needs improvement
This is basically a match 3 game with cute graphics. I’ve played every level and while I like this game it needs a lot of improvement. Higher Levels freeze and you have to exit the level (losing all bonuses) to get it to work again. This happened a lot to me when I was at the max level of “Hot Streak” bonuses. They advertise a hard level challenge when the game starts up but I have yet to find it (this may be user error). The cost of a bonus is 70 coins which is very high, especially when the daily challenge award is 1 - 5 coins. 3 stars are very hard to achieve which is frustrating. You’ll end up spending a lot of money to buy bonuses. It will say you’ve missed a daily challenge even if you successfully play it daily and it disqualifies you from being eligible for the bigger bonuses at the end. This happens almost every time you spend 25 coins to play the next level on the same day. The developers are spectacularly unhelpful. I’ve submitted several problems to them and the responses have been amazingly unresponsive. It can take weeks to get a response. The most common is that unless you’re signed in with FB, they can’t help you and even when I signed in with FB, I received no help and they don’t fix the issues with the game even when you give them the levels that are problematic. I really can’t recommend this game until the issues are fixed. Play one of the many, many other similar games until they fix this one.

Love it
I play a ton of different match 3 games and this is definitely one of my favorites. The artwork is so detailed, sometimes I scroll through the levels just to see the scenery and fun animations in each section. I haven’t had the trouble a few others mentioned about having to spend money to progress through the levels. I’m currently on level 258 and have yet to spend a cent. My only complaint is the ads. Well, one ad in particular actually. Now, I expect ads in a free game and I don’t mind the ones that are silent. I’ll actually watch those and occasionally click on them. But the ones that unexpectedly blast you with loud, garish music despite the fact that you have all sounds turned off in the game are unacceptable. When that happens I immediately scramble to exit the app as quickly as possible. Lately I’ve been getting the same ad -for the Family Guy game - nonstop after every single level. Seriously, I think I’ve only seen a different ad once or twice in the last month, and I play the game daily. This ad is loud and is driving me crazy! Please get rid of loud ads, and I’ll be one happy camper!

Can’t link account / resolved
I actually really enjoy the game. It would have five stars if I hadn’t recently bought a new iPad. There is absolutely no info regarding transferring my current game to the new pad. Even Google couldn’t find the info. All my other games were easy. Two of the four I regularly play, transferred automatically. One took a little research. But this game…I either have to start from 0 or maybe move on. Unless the developer can shine a bit of light on this subject. I imagine I’m just missing something. Surely the game, including the player’s content, must be able to be transferred to a new device. Update 11/29: finally figured out how to link. In game settings, I found where to log in with my i.d. And I needed to log into the old pad and the new one, both. Anyways, figured it out just as I received messages from developer. Thank you, Tactile, for those responses, here, as well as, through email. It’s a fun game deserving of five stars or I wouldn't have gotten so upset, lol.

Cute game with minor drawbacks- a must play for Simon/match3 fans
I got this game because it has Simon Cat in it. I've stuck with it because it is for the most part a well-designed game. I have seen some reviews where they say you cannot progress without spending money and I would have to disagree; i am level 130 or so and have not spent a dime. The game offers plenty of rewards in the form of the boosts that help you win the levels. As well, they offer daily challenges with tournaments and quests with great rewards that keep the game fun and engaging. The problem i have is that you have a three-star system here and the third star is ridiculously difficult to obtain. I have wasted all available boosts to try to attain this third star for progressive levels and I have not managed this beyond level 34. Not having a reasonably attainable perfection score is a kicker for me. In order to support the game i purchased the no-ad pack, but i feel that the boosts items are way overpriced. Once i complete the available levels i will be done with the game. Another small drawback is the CONSTANT demand for notifications and Facebook access. I detest notifications and so have not allowed them, yet this game ask for permission every few levels.

Fun game
Just got the game last night and I’ve been really enjoying playing it, until now. I am stuck in the first locked area. I have to play to get the keys and I got the first key, but now I have to wait to “let the cats rest”, ask a friend, or spend “coins”. The wait is long and even longer if you have to close the app if you have other things you need to do and I’m not going to just leave the app open for the (very long) 4 hour timer to finish it’s count down (edited because I just finished the wait for the 2nd key, the wait started last night, and now I have to wait 4 hours to play for the 3rd key, not cool), I don’t have friends who play this game to ask for help, and I don’t have enough coins earned yet to buy a key (no money in PayPal to purchase coins either). I do realize you can go back and replay games already played to get up to 3 stars per level, but I like to be going forward in a game, not back. I do like playing this game so far and I am going to finish waiting to play to get the keys, but I am disappointed in the length of the wait. The locked area is not very play friendly, so I gave it 3 stars for now, when I originally gave it 5 before hitting this “road block”.

Not the game I expected plus new problems
Up until this last tournament my biggest complaint is that in the previews for this game it always shows “find the differences” but so far I haven’t found it anywhere in the game and that was the whole reason I downloaded it in the first place. However the last tournament wouldn’t allow me to play but I was busy so I decided to let it go and play the next one. This tournament started and I have won the same level dozens of times but it won’t let me move on. So I tried to go to the support under the settings menu and I can’t even open it! So now I can’t play the tournament except for one level which means I might as well not play and the developers won’t even let me complain about it so it can get fixed!! If it’s not fixed by the tournament, I’m uninstalling the game. Especially because as I stated earlier the whole reason I wanted this game was to play “find the differences” like it showed on the videos I had seen for the game. I talked to a couple friends who have this game and they said they’ve never seen it in the game either I really think they need to change their advertising. Oh and side note this game drains my battery fast than any other game I have. Update: 8/4/18 Another update to the game and yet it didn’t fix the tournaments.

Costly game
I do like playing the game, it is a challenge. The further I get Into the game (higher levels) the more I studied it and it cheats. For instance it sometimes doesn’t give you the full count of treats you highlight. Also when you clear some obstacles, it will show 2, then switch to 3 because it’s the only play you have. Further in the game (on the ones indicated “hard” and where the vines grow over the treats), every so often it only gives you plays on a corner that doesn’t really count for anything, no broken pots, nothing more than 3 treats at a time and you realize you are never going to win the game The other reviews I read about the developer needs to give a little more are spot on. Like better rewards for the money you spend and more options on the packages available. So for all the above reasons, I got to the point of frustrations and I have now deleted the app. It is a fun and addictive game but there are others as much fun and less expensive to play.

That d**n squirrel
So, I love this game. Play it every day. Have spent a little money, but haven’t needed a ton to make really satisfying progress. And I get the need to show ads sometimes between levels. But if I see the ad for Forest Rescue Bubble POP one more hecking time, I’m going to lose my freaking mind. It’s an annoyance to be told to rotate my device—I’m not always in a place where that’s easy to do—but I could live with it. BUT THE AD CANNOT BE CLOSED. I try everything: tapping the X that *should* work, playing a couple levels, fake out clicking “install.” None of it gets back to my game. I have to force close the app to get rid of it. FIX. IT. PLEASE. Edit 1/6/19: Yup, I’m STILL playing this game. It’s one of my self care tools. Developers were responsive to my previous complaint, so I want to let them know it’s happening again. Forest Rescue Bubble POP is hecking back AGAIN, as well as another ad placed by AdColony. I have a screen cap of the ad & its lack of close options if anyone is interested.

Love this game but...
Like many others have said the costs of coins is a bit high especially since you don’t get any boosters to go with it 😢. It would be nice if there were different prices for the different boosters as well, especially since they themselves each have different levels of use. Also today, the 7 days of Christmas shows up with the opportunity of 12 boosters and 2 hours of unlimited lives. But every time I try to get it a pop up says in app purchase not available at this time. Also, my only other complaint is what was stated before... the time in between playing for keys to unlock new areas. Like others I don’t attach it to my Facebook to beg others for stuff *dont do that with any games*. I understand that this is a way to get us to purchase coins, however, people like me who are on a fixed income can’t always afford to purchase coins. Maybe the developers could make the time to play for more keys shorter like other games do...maybe wait an hour. Other than that I love this game, the graphics and the challenge 😊

Lot’s of improvement...
So I got this game thinking it would be a nice relaxing game to play. The first couple levels were fun and easy. But then it gets way to hard. I have scrolled through the other comments and others are saying the same thing. You just say back that people enjoy the challenge. But lots don’t either. I think there should be a daily present when you log in. I know there are daily levels but I would just like a daily power up or coins or something. It’s like on the levels that you purposely want people to spend real money on it. It’s like you control the game and make me fail the levels to make me mad so that I use coins or a power up. I like my coins and power ups so I don’t use them very often. I think you should have way more lives. And you shouldn’t have to wait for EVER to get more lives or get past a gate. It is RIDICULOUS!!! I think that’s all of my feedback for you. The game overall is fun just more improvement is all. I hope you take this into consideration since I have seen you say you are but never have improved some things. And please DEVELOPER respond to this not some robot computer that sends the same message to everyone. Thanks a lot!

Purrfect
I love this app so much. It has been only about 10 minutes and I’m addicted. A long time ago I had played. I hadn’t really understood the meaning, but years later, today, I love it. I even bought the card game, which is like and adorable, creative, and different version of Uno. I’d recommend both the app and the game with 5 stars. If I could, I’d make this one of those formal reviews with the pros and cons- but I can’t because there are no cons to me! I love the feature of being able to choose a little emote to describe the level. I think it’s super cute and I never miss a chance to do it. I also love the cut seen at the beginning of the crow dropping treats and gift boxes as it escapes. I also love watching the boxes explode into cute scenes when you unlock them. So many things I love about this! Each character has its own special and unique personality. I love serving the cat who likes green treats last because of his annoyed attitude. It makes me laugh out loud!

Fun, fun, fun!
Love the cats, their personalities, the detailed landscape with not just lots of different animals but some actually identifiable species - must be some real nature aficionados amongst the design team. Hilarious animations even when not playing a game - it’s fun just to scroll through the landscape and see details I missed before. All this takes a toll on the battery though. Some of the boosts are incomprehensible in their action until you’ve wasted quite a few. But still possible to play and advance without buying stuff if you’re willing to lose a few dozen rounds first (I’m serious). You won’t achieve competitive standing though. Also, I finally reached a point where the game just froze up and could not be got out of and I had to delete and reinstall it, but guess what? It was just as much fun the second time around. I’m smitten, now let’s see some kittens!

Playing Since the Start
I have been playing Simon‘s Cat Crunch Time since it was initially released. As a huge fan of the Simon Cat videos, and also part of the crowd funding for his movie Off to the Vet, I was over the moon when he announced that they were coming out with a game for iPads. I also enjoy seeing that there are other games available with the Simon Cat characters. Who doesn’t love the adorable cats and kittens in the videos and games. But today I was a bit distraught when I saw an ad for the original Crunch Time game and it showed bonus games. I am currently on level 5,986 and hav eNEVER seen a bonus game. If you’ve been playing from the beginning, are you exempt from the bonus games? The only bonus game I have seen is the Find the Difference game. Don’t get me wrong, I love playing Crunch Time! I play at least the daily game each day, if not multiple levels of the main game. I just want to know where the bonus games are for us longtime players…

Fun at times but a money hole
So I got this app mainly because I like Simon's Cat. The game is great till you get farther along. The levels are designed in a way that you lose most of the time. After playing a level for about an hour and losing I broke down and bought the smallest bonus pack, still barely beat it. The cost of items are ridiculous and the units per item are horribly done. Instead of 70 coins for an item, maybe increments of 10 or something. I have played similar games like this, but I actually could play the game and they had ads, but I didn't have to waste money on several levels. I don't see the purpose of adding. Levels when you can't even make it to level 60. Maybe add more ads for revenue or make it a game you can buy and add more ways to get items. Another thing is the cat treat bonuses to take rows out are so random and most the time don't go where you would like them to be. Those that mace it far in the game either are lucky as heck or spending a lot of money. I can't recommend this game until the play mechanics are fixed. I know that my response from a forum person will be, I will let the developers know. . .

Love the game...to a point..
This game is WAY addictive!! It’s really, really fun and the characters are hilarious! BUT.... Two of the biggest problems I’ve had with the game are: levels that are impossible to get 3 stars on and ads that black out. I’m one of those people who believe that I haven’t beaten a level unless I got 3 stars. There are a plethora, of levels like this in the game.. it gets to the point where you’ve used up all your bonuses/ powers, and you STILL can’t get 3 stars!! It’s like the tip of the 3rd star isn’t covered, so you lose. I’m not one to spend money on apps, so I’m trying to win without too much help. Then.. the ads..I totally understand that the makers of the game make money from ads..BUT, every time an ad comes on, the screen goes blank and I have to restart the game.. I finally won 3 stars on a level that I’ve been stuck on for 2 weeks..and what do you know, the black screen came on and I lost my score!! It’s really aggravating!! I want to completely love this game, but when that “stuff,” happens it’s hard to!

Cute but super frustrating
The game is very cute and can be fun, but like many people have said it feels like they’re deliberately making levels nearly impossible to pass without buying something like extra coins and treats. The game is super stingy with allowing players to win coins and treats, too. And it does feel like sometimes they’re miscounting how many points you get for getting rid of “x” amount of pieces in one go — there are versions of games that seem to deliberately block you from clearing certain strategic areas, and then the game has the audacity to give you a “prize” for failing a level 10 times in a row or something. The purpose of the game should be to be diverting and fun, but I’m finding it increasingly frustrating. With all the ads you’d think they’d be a little more generous with allowing people to win bonus treats and additional coins. Also: they have the same 6 “find the difference” games over and over. It’s not fun or challenging anymore and you never know when or if it will even pop up. I’ve actually flipped off the game I’ve gotten so annoyed.

Ok people really?
The boosts are useless and there is this challenge in the higher levels about you get prizes in a certain amount of time if you do almost all the levels at one time. And really I’m only level seventeen and they give me this. They make it EXTRA hard with the time present challenge thing. Like come on you should do that when you are level one hundred or something. I’m level seventeen not level one hundred or up. Please fix this thank you. This is bad in the high levels. I really want the time to expire. It won’t. It takes like the whole night to go away. That’s only my guess. But please fix this I’m gonna rate this zero if you don’t fix this. Cause that time challenge is for levels one hundred and up. And thank you. SIMON Yes I see your point there, #iloveottersandtigers. It is kind of right that you are only level seventeen and we give you this challenge. I will try to make it for high levels like level one hundred and up like you said. Thanks for the feedback. I’ll try my best for updating it to what you just said or what you just suggested. Thanks for the feedback again. I’ll try my best again. Bye #iloveottersandtigers.

Cute but time to quit
As always when you start these games they are very cute and you’re able to work your way through the levels. Then you reach these levels where you have to use up your boosters and you are not given very many chances to finish the game. it’s very difficult to beat a game when you only have 12 moves and I have to use the first five or six with no chances of making any chains for extra boosters. I am not one to sit and play a level over and over and over and over and over and over and over again like the other games. I understand just like everything else it’s all about getting your money. I understand you need to generate money for the games but you guys just need to lighten up. I have a very busy stressful life and would like to be able to unwind at the end of the day with a cute cat game. If all these games weren’t so pushy about getting your money maybe I’d spend a few dollars but I seriously doubt that will change.

Game Is A Money Pit
I had to delete your game. I reached out to the developer about the frustration I have had with game boards that are designed so that the levels cannot be completed within the number of moves allotted. They responded by saying that each new challenge had a tutorial. That is not the issue. The tutorial is about the only time that a challenge can be completed in the allotted moves. Every other time it will come with obstacles that can only be overcome with multiple moves that eat into the moves you have. The only way to get around this is with extensive use of boosters and extra moves. They are then rapidly depleted. You end up having to use real money to cope with this. The developers seem to think that you have endless money to hand over to them. I don’t. I’m living on a small income, and I can’t afford this game. It’s produced for affluent people and gatekeeps accordingly. It was bad enough with Story Time on Arcade, but there I only had a small monthly subscription to pay. Now I know the real cost of playing this developer’s games. It is not fair or right.

Getting close to deleting
I cannot fathom why I see posts referencing the impeccably hard level 60 back at least a year (I am not going any further) and apparently there still isn’t a change?! I have never gotten less than 5% left on the darn squirrel’s life bar, and that was once. It’s one thing to be challenged, it’s another for a level to take nearly two weeks because it’s nearly impossible without buying coins for boosts and such. I am loosing patience and likely will delete if I don’t beat the level.... well basically today. It’s also extremely frustrating when you see developers say ‘just select the treats on the sign.’ Like, really? Hadn’t thought of that but every time I have a long line of ‘those treats’ the stupid squirrel throws acorns right in the middle. It’s no longer fun and challenging, it’s annoying and frustrating. And it seems there won’t be any changes in spite of complaints. So, I kind of feel like why keep a game that’s impossible?

Fun game, haven't hit a wall yet!
I've always been a big fan of Simon's Cat and that was enough to get me to download this game. I'm not even a fan of puzzle games, but I've found this one to be incredibly fun. It keeps things simple, but gives you different challenges based on the same mechanics to keep the formula fresh. The free rewards seem a little minuscule, but I only just started. I've also found the challenge without power ups or paying to be pleasant, but not impossible. If it stays that way I'll be quite pleased. Honestly, I wish this was a game that had a simple $5 unlock or the like for the 'whole game'. It's something I rarely want in my apps, but I'm having enough fun that I want to make sure the devs get paid. They did a wonderful work with a set of characters I never thought would make it to the video game well, let alone so well. Kudos!

Love Simon’s Cat!!!
I absolutely LOVE this game! It is so relaxing and fun! The graphics are adorable! Each cat has its own personality and it’s fun to watch all their little antics. Every game is a little different, some are challenging but not so challenging that it becomes frustrating. Plus the developers are extremely generous with giving out boosters to everybody who comments on their Facebook page not just a select few. These boosters come in really handy for some of the tougher levels. They also have good coin/booster packages for purchase. I played the game a long time without purchasing so you do not have to purchase to play. And their customer service is excellent! If there’s a problem CS will respond within 24 hours. I also love the little videos of the cats on their FB page. Great game! Highly recommended!!!

UPDATE to BEWARE!
Update - I’m pleased to say the the Crunch Time Team reached out to me and was great at resolving my issue. As the charges were through Apple, they were unable to find why I was experiencing the double charging. But they were willing to address the issues anyway and credited me accordingly. I look forward to resuming play, while being aware of billing issues with Apple. Thanks, again, Support. BEWARE! Double charging! I’ve tested a number of variables to see if this behavior is somehow my fault and have determined it’s not. Plus, because Apple doesn’t sent confirmation until a couple of days later, you don’t know it’s happened. Charges add up quickly when spending double what you intend. Sometimes coins are applied and sometimes not, so you are never sure. Fun game that I’d like to keep playing, but feel very cheated with these issues.

As addictive and expensive as a drug...
I love the game and I love the adorable characters. I don’t love how much money I’ve spent playing. Many of the puzzles just can’t be won with the amount of moves provided. I also wish there were a way to end a game when it’s obvious you can’t win with the number of moves remaining. This isn’t a simple “connect” the string of similar items; it’s very much like playing billiards where you must line up shots to take advantage of the super tile arrows for maximum effect. I have deleted the game twice and then reinstalled it because I really do enjoy it. However I can’t justify the cost no matter how much fun it is. I would never spend this kind of money gambling and never have...but that’s what this amounts to. As a form of simple entertainment it’s a bottomless money pit.

Awful RNG will make you uninstall
I'm giving this game a 2, the only reason it doesn't get a 1, is the fact that it has a lot of potential. I've spent a lot of time playing. However, if you want to play a game that makes you think you can strategize but is actually just gambling, then this game is for you. I say this because the maps start out on each level completely randomly, so sometimes the boosts you use end up being worthless, other times, you can use as many boosts as you have available, and you still fail the level. Not to mention, each boost is about .05 cents with the bigger ones being valued more, but say, you use the boosts and still fail the level, you'd think you'd get to keep the boosts, no, you don't. So you basically took a gamble with your boosts and the house won because RNG denied you. There's truly nothing more frustrating and encouraging you to watch ads for one time use treats that you'll probably lose anyway. That's awful game design and ad revenue priority at it's finest.

Good fun but ads are super pervasive and annoying
Overall I really enjoy the game play mechanics. It's a really cool spin on the color match games. I agree with other reviewers about the cost and random placements of the power ups. But I could still work around those. The big issue is the ads that show up before and after the games. Typically the ones before the game are often just a static Image and the ones after are the 30 sec video variety. Both my 5 year old and I play this and as frustrating as the ads are for me... they are INFINITELY worse for her. Some of the videos for the fighting games are not really age appropriate for her and make her nervous. I recognize that you make money on ads but I would GLADLY spend money to purchase a full ad free version. I know that I am not in the minority on this request. I checked the App Store to see if there was a pay option but there wasn't. If the ads are reduced or an ad free version is offered I will up my review.

Gets Better!
Crunch Time is one of my faves. I got frustrated with it at one point and deleted it from my iPhone but kept it on the iPad. Although I had the latest version on both devices, I didn’t get the same purchase offers on the iPhone. Also I was disappointed that it did not restore my purchases when I reinstalled it on my iPhone so I deleted it on that device for good. I was almost up to the 2000 level but too bad. I’m still loving Crunch Time on my iPad because there are freebies every now and then plus the in-app booster promos are great and offered regularly. It’s much more fun playing when you can afford to buy boosters. Some of my friends won’t play if they can’t win and they won’t go broke buying expensive boosters. They’re liking this new Crunch Time too!

I really like this game. I love the art style and I think it makes the game itself better. It’s such a simple game, yet I think that with all the elements you’ve used, it came together into this wonderful sum of happiness. When I play, it brings me joy. It’s the little things, too: The minigames you get to play every once in a while, the cute animations, etc. There’s so many levels, too. More than 1200! That’s a ton. I’d play this game when I’m bored or just for the heck of it. Of course if you WANT, you can buy coins, remove ads, etc. You don’t HAVE to. You be patient and wait or you buy what you want. Nobody’s telling anyone to buy anything, it’s just a choice. The creators need money, of course. All in all, this game is a bop. Keep making games like these, because I’m a fan! B)

Given Up
I enjoyed this game in the beginning but it really wears away at you over time. The constant barrage of in-game pop ups that you have to close individually every time you load the game, finish a level, or sneeze. Not to mention the ridiculous nagging about turning notifications back of that you’ve obviously turned off because they are incredibly annoying. The last straw was losing my daily streak after throwing coins at the game to continue my daily streak (ironic, eh?). What they don’t tell you is that it just moves you to the next day of the daily quest. There’s some sneaky placement of spending coin buttons as well. On top of it all, it seems to be an unending rat race of never getting anywhere and feeling disappointed. All that being said, aside from the annoyances it was actually somewhat challenging and fun. I’ll continue to play Pop Time (there are similar annoyances there, fyi) for the time being but Crunch Time is done forever...

Great but..
I love the graphics, I love the music, and the idea of the game with mini games as well is great. BUT, I only got to level 4 before I couldn’t get 3 stars. Even with a single swipe to fully feed all cats making links as long as possible and using the least amount of turns I only get 2 stars. Once I even only got 1! If I clear more cookies I use more turns. So it’s a lose either way. I will continue to play but I like to get 3 stars. I wouldn’t assume it would get ‘hard’ at level 4 when there is 5 THOUSAND + levels!! But… it’s only my first day playing so I’ll keep going and see how it goes. Well I’ve been playing a few days now and again, love the music and graphics and stuff but I can’t really progress when it gets hard so soon. I can’t imagine what level 100 is like let alone 5,000!!! I’ll probably end up dumping the game. Also the ‘lives’ part is kinda dumb. People want to relax for long periods of time. This just limits game play and I don’t see how any game can benefit from it. If the developers want to make money, maybe make it so you can earn coins to decorate a cat room or even dress up the cat with holiday themed outfits and head bands and hats lol. Plenty of ways to keep people interested and it’s NOT by giving them only a few lives to play. They will just play another game.

Horrible Game Play
UPDATE: They responded as you can see but it’s still ridiculous. This game is designed to force you to have purchase boost with real money in order to pass a level. I have no problem with doing so when I’m actually having fun playing the game. I shouldn’t have to feel forced just to make it to the next level. On the other Simon Cat game I’m level 600 and something I think. That game I have purchased boost but it’s also designed in a way that the daily bonus and other ways to obtain coins to purchase boost are feasible. Still wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone. It’s a colossal waste of time. I had Pop Time and I love it. Thought this game would be just as good but it’s not. The difficulty on some levels is fine but the amount of moves allotted is horrible. 15 moves to 100 plus items done is ridiculous. Add on to that some have obstacles that take more than one hit to remove. I will never play this game again. It’s ridiculous. It’s like you’re trying to force me to purchase items which I’m not.

Love....but nothing’s perfect
First off I want to say that I absolutely love this game, in fact I’m kind of obsessed with this game. I’ve had this game since about November, and for the past month or so I’ve had to wait for new levels to be made because I have finished all of them. Which is fine, I get it you have to make new levels and I just need to chill and not Play all of the new 10 levels in one day. The only negative that I really have is all the ads, I wish I could have The option to pay however much not to see the ads anymore because they drive me crazy especially when they pop up in the middle of my move. That and it seems like after you get up to A certain point, the achievements that you got in the beginning just stopped. It be nice if It kept going, because that was the easiest way to get coins and extra stuff.

Why have to wait to play needs work compared to other games
Cute game just started playing but so far easy to use. Ok after playing the game you come to a lock gate with three keys where either you need friends or wait 4 hours to play to unlock a lock I understand you want more people playing this game but what if you don’t have people as friends who want to play this game so I have to either spend money to get lock unlocked or wait 4 hours so I would play this game more but waiting to play isn’t fun so went from 5 stars to 3 stars and why have presents on the game board if no rewards for the play seems the little cat pics you open up could already be there was expecting some bonus for getting so far but you only get background pictures unlocked no fun in that well since I’m waiting 4 hours guess I will go and play some other games that don’t require me to wait so long to play

Game is fun but ...
Puzzles are challenging but some are extremely difficult without buying the extras, AKA in app purchases. A major complaint, aside from the ridiculous difficulty of some levels, is when you run out of moves. After your final move, you get a “you’re out of moves” sign that covers the game board not allowing you a view of the board. Being able to see the game board, will help you decide if you want to buy additional moves. I’m sure this is by design by the developer to sucker more people into buying more moves. Before you buy more moves, look at the board when you’re 1 move away from running out of moves, to decide if buying more moves is worth it. Otherwise, you might end up buying two or three sets of extra moves to finish the level. With the exception of 3 or 4 levels, I have been able to finish them all without buying extra moves.

Fun game, except for the price tag
This is a really fun game with cute graphics and background music. I just loved playing it, but soon realized that it was rapidly growing into something of a gambling addiction. I marvel at the reviewers who say they have spent nothing of their personal funds to play this game. I played it for many months in the past and then stopped. I started playing it again about two months ago and have paid in well over $150. The app draws you into the game with in-app purchases that require your dollars for the app’s coins. You use the coins to make your moves. Almost inevitably, you run out, and spend more dollars to buy more coins/moves. I got pretty good at playing the game, and began to predict when I would run out of moves. I could see how I was being set up to dump more money in or forfeit the games and bonuses I had won. This evening, I regrettably deleted the app, as I want to save my money for more important things.

Advertising
I thoroughly enjoy playing the game and do so almost on a daily basis. My complaint is the loud obnoxious “Family Guy” advertising. If I wanted to watch, or hear a program like that, I would turn on my tv. Having small grandchildren sit on my lap, while advertising with foul language continually popping up, makes me want to quit a game I enjoy. I will not pay to have commercials stopped, but I will find something else to occupy my time if they continue. I’m sure I’m not the only person that is not enjoying this type of loud obnoxious advertising. Also, I have the sounds all turned off on my device, I have an illness that makes me very sensitive to sounds, we should have an option to turn off any sounds we do not want to hear.

Expensive game to play
I just downloaded game on Saturday and it didn’t take me long to realize this game is expensive to play! Unfortunately some of us take longer to figure each level out, the boosters which can be confusing and limited moves to kill a mole, a hateful squirrel and a slobbering dog! You pay 70 coins for 5 moves if you didn’t win with the moves they gave you! If the 5 moves don’t do it maybe 5 more will. Before you know it the 800 coins you bought have vanished in a short period of time just playing 10 to 15 games! Of course the higher you go the harder they get! My time on crunch time has ended because I am going to delete! Pop time is much better but don’t be in hurry to beat the levels because eventually you will run out! All I can say is good luck to those that have the patience and the money to play this game.

I’ve fed a lot of cats!
It takes a little practice, but once you have the hang of it, it’s fun and challenging. My son (gamer) likes to try it, but he has a hard time at the higher levels. I think that is because he’s missed the tutorials along the way. There are videos of people who’ve mastered the levels if you get stuck. I also had to ask the creators for help a few times, but they were very responsive and assisted quickly with ideas and where I could find hints. The cats and other critters are funny. If you pay attention to the trail, they’ve thrown in some funny actions. One of the ones that made me laugh out loud was the creators had one of the kitties reenact the video of the kitty being scared by the cucumber. 😂

Great fun—beautiful graphics!
If you are a fan of Simon’s Cat cartoons, you will love this game. All of your favorite characters are there, engaging in activities to spur you along the path. The game is simple in concept, in that you swipe like treats. However, it can be extremely challenging to get to the next level. As you go through the levels, the challenges change, with frustrations such as the dog drooling and covering up your path, the rat throwing more mice into the game to eat up the treats, or the vacuum cleaner sucking up 20 grouped treats at a time. You can compete against others for number of levels, stars earned, or other competition. This is the only game that I play. I cannot image a better game. 😻

I’m here for the cats
Cute game in the end. Difficult and often based on luck, but that’s expected. The happy cats are worth the grind at hard levels. Most of the flaws are with the ads. Incredibly invasive ads pop up every action you take. The app often crashes when I view ads too, frequent when you end up having poor internet. Might be worth just getting rid of them with a purchase altogether. The game is somewhat generous with boosts, but I absolutely abhor how they are easily wasted. Your harder to get, good boosts you must choose before you go in to a level, so if you get a bad starting set or an impossible game, congrats you just wasted your boost. Still, satisfying graphics and sound effects. Diverse gameplay. The lives mechanic is more generous than other games.

Fun graphics- still new
It’s relaxing and fun and the cats are so cute and it’s very creative and I like it so far I just think the games should give you a little bit more time before they ask you to rate their game I just got here but so far so good I highly recommend you try it I love the way they have the cats playing and doing art along the way he keeps you interested and I can tell the staff put a lot of time into making it fun and exciting. Expires the cost it’s been very fair and cheap right now like most of them are in the beginning but sometimes I find myself lately leaving games I really love because they just get to out rages sleep expensive so we shall see I’ll keep you updated later give it a try

Wonderful Game! 😊
Dear Developers, I loved this game, I am a fan of Simon's cat. However I got a small problem with the add thing: I got one of those adds at the bottom of the screen that you cannot close out of, it showed a lady pulling her underwear down and showing her but. I’m aware it’s an underwear add but it is a little too close to the point of indecency! I at least myself would much more prefer an add free game that costs a little, than a free game that has a million adds! I myself am an early programmer, so I know that a free game costs A LOT OF MONEY to keep it on the App Store, so I would love a game for a little bit of money like $2:99 or something like that than a ton of adds. Thank you for considering my proposal. It’s your game so whatever you decide is fine with me. Have a wonderful blessed day!😁

Addictive and actually playable!
The graphics are very smooth, and the art is adorable (of course). The game is very simple, but there are slight variations with each level and the difficulties actually go up (instead of just cycling through levels, like a lot of simple phone games do). You can actually play without needing to watch ads or buy anything! The only ads I have watched so far were voluntary on my part, in exchange for something. You acquire boosters and the like by simply finishing levels. The up and downside is that it is very addictive; I have ADHD so it is difficult for me to remove my focus (lol!). Very fun. Have already recommended to friends!

Frustrating
I’ve had this game on my iPhone for about a week now. I’ve purchased coins that were never received. When I’d try to re-purchase the same amount I’d receive a message, “You have previously made this purchase your purchase will be restored”. The purchase was never restored and the game froze. I turned my phone off/on a few times and finally had to delete and reload the app. I’ve had to delete and reload the game several times (I’m at about 5x’s now) because the game freezes, which deletes all the progress I’ve made. Since it’s a new game I’m willing to replay the levels again but I may be done if this continues to be a problem. Waiting about 4 hours to play in between locked levels is way too long. It’s frustrating! I’m hoping y’all get it together before I kick Simon’s cat to the curb!

Great-too expensive (money & lives) so prob won't keep playing... 😭
This game is so much fun!! I love it so much! BUT The coins to continue playing cost way too much, you have to spend 70 just to get 5 extra turns!! Wayyyyyyy toooo much! Using one coin per game for a boost is fine - but to have to fork out many coins to keep playing and other situations where you have to spend too many coins....it's really ridiculous. But because of this high cost of continuing each level is way too many coins period...so I don't think it's worth playing it much any more. The only sort of solution is to never buy the coins for those 5 extra moves but you keep losing lives...so it's not a winning situation. What they need to do is make it a lot less to continue

False Advertising
I kept seeing ads for this title in another game. The ads I saw showed “help Simon’s cat find these things “ or something like that. Basically it was a hidden object type game shown. I looked at it and saw it was actually just a matching type game, but I thought maybe the hidden object stages are after so many levels, a mini game type thing. I downloaded it and will now be deleting it because I’ve played enough that I am not seeing ANYTHING like what is in the ad! I bet they do this to get people to download the game and collect their data. It’s a shame because the animation/drawings are fantastic! I don’t understand the trend of games making ads for gameplay that doesn’t exist. The actual game is cute (which is why I’m giving it 2 stars) and I don’t know why you feel you need to do a bait and switch. Shameful.
