I love their customer service.
The Skin store rocks. I have a Sephora a couple blocks from home so I do check up. Quick Story, I ordered a Peter T Roth $65 serum. It was late, fell a sleep with out closing the order out. The next morning I closed out that order from the night before with out purchasing it. I reopened the site in the AM and bought the serum. They sent me a couple emails about that night order I closed, for clarification. I blew them off thinking it’s closed. I came home a few days later and the serum I bought was in and so was a free serum from the order I did’nt close. I could not believe they sent me that, it was of course because the did not want to short me just in case they made a mistake. I am at the Airport and the TSA could not believe how many beauty products I have. They pulled me aside to inspect, I know a great company when I use it.

My wallet hates me
I love Skinstore because they literally sell everything so I’m constantly ordering things I need, however the creation of this app has been very bad for my wallet! lol It makes it too easy to shop, but at the same time I feel like it makes tracking my orders and reaching out about any issues or questions so much easier!

Beware! Avoid this scammy company!
I placed my first order with this company on Black Friday. Long story short, one big issue is they sell things on their website that are not in stock without warning the customer. They have no timeline for when the items will ever be back in stock. Some people wait months. Especially be careful if you were planning on buying a time sensitive gift. The customer service rep I chatted with said the order could not be changed or cancelled because it was already being prepared for dispatch. Fast forward nearly two weeks and someone tells me the item is out of stock and I just have to wait an undefined amount of time to receive it. Customer service is terrible, so good luck with getting through to anyone that can help. Look at the Instagram comments and online reviews. This is a common problem. I really wish I placed my order somewhere else. I will be warning everyone to avoid this company!

Don’t buy from this company - Trust the Reviews!
I bought a hundred dollar boar bristle brush from here that arrived with bristles lose in the box. At the time they gave me a short return window if I wanted to return the brush but since no more bristles seemed to shed I kept in. Then over the next few months the brush became full of lint which I realized was coming up and out of the bristles. This brush is obviously defective in some way. No help from Skin Store. I tried the chat option with them and routinely I would get dots that they were typing and then hours would go by without a response. HORRIBLE customer service. Don’t be lured in by specials and deals. Nothing is worth getting a defective product and then being stuck with it. Go to a real company.

Terrible - Don’t use
This is a terrible company. They lure you in with better deals than what you can find at Sephora or other beauty stores but Skin Store is not open and honest about their inventory. I ordered something during a Black Friday sale and still as of this posting have not received it. No notification as to where it might be or expected delivery. Despite when I placed the order the confirmation gave me a date. That has come and gone and nothing. I have contacted customer service and received a generic reply that told me nothing on when I could expect my product. Excuses like COVID or delivery delays don’t cut it. I ordered every gift for Christmas online and had great experiences with every company except this one. Don’t waste your time and money here.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE
DO NOT BUY FROM SKIN STORE. Don’t fall for their sales or offers. Buy from a reliable trustworthy brand. If you want customer service that claims to be available but in reality isn’t, shipping for products that arrive 2 weeks after the estimated delivery date, and a company that sends 2 emails to you a day, then Skin Store is for you! Their customer service only allows you to contact them through Twitter or Instagram, and if you want to message them directly via email, you need to create an account first (so they can spam you with emails). Their “live chat” is always unavailable so that’s not an option to go to. They ship from Los Angeles and I live in California, and it’s taken over 2 weeks (I’m still waiting) for the package to arrive. I understand that it’s currently holiday season, but that makes absolutely no sense. You can’t make up an excuse of high shipping volumes for an in-state delivery of two small skincare items. I want a refund as this was a gift for my girlfriend and it’s been over a week since her birthday. So much for a present...

Terrible customer service /Don’t buy from Skinstore
I placed an order in March and as of today I have NOT received it. Due to my upcoming military mobilization I requested the order to be shipped to my current military address. I emailed Skinstore and they stated that the order was shipped to the requested address in NJ. That ladies and gentlemen is incorrect, I don’t leave in NJ, and I am not stationed in NJ. I called Skinstore and i explained the situation and the woman was rude over phone, making it sound as this was my fault, or worse she made it sound as i was stealing from them. I want my order or my money back. I will never buy from this store again.

Scam company
While the company may offer brand name cosmetics at a discounted price, they draw in customers with free item promos with no intention on filling them. Customer service is a disgrace. I've gone back and forth multiple times with them over missing promotional products and their response is that there is no guarantee that you will receive these products due to "limited supply." They offered me a discount on a future order. What a joke. I have no desire to change my review or get the runaround by a joke of a customer service department. My advice is to take your business elsewhere.

Worst customer service
Be very Leary of being lured in by false emails of nice discounts and free gifts with a purchase. I was not given the nice free gift nor the discount which is why is purchased from this site to begin with. You can’t call them or ration with anyone. They were out of gifts (so they said) even though I made the purchase as soon as they sent me the email. I wanted to send my whole purchase back but I’d have to pay for shipping. I will never EVER purchase from this place again!

Scam company
They steal my money and didn’t refund me. I reported them to my bank and Better business bureau. They have no costumer service at all. Just runaround. They will send you used product and you can’t even rerun it even if you do there is no refund. Alot of people complain That they didn’t get there order too.

Good promotions
After some initial issues with a promotional code I was emailed a new code specific to the items that I was looking for. Bc all of my friends and family use these products everyone made an account. It wasn’t exactly smooth sailing from the beginning for me but this more than made up for my initial bad experience! They also have great samples and since most products can be found through multiple vendors the samples really seal the deal. Def recommend!
