Crashes on launch, suggested fix is unacceptable [see update]
[UPDATE] Apparently the fix is to write a scathing review. After a week or so of crashing on launch, PW now launches and runs just fine, literally within an hour or two of posting a one-star burn. I’m going to leave the review I wrote up for a while so as not to break the spell. If there’s one thing 20 years in IT taught me, it’s that the more you know about these things, the more amazing it is that they work at all. ============ I’ve played PW for years. A few days ago, it started crashing on launch, a couple of seconds after the splash screen appears. A restart and a restart/reset did not fix the issue. I checked the Support page, where there’s a link to a wikihow article which says if that doesn’t work, the next step is a complete backup/wipe/restore. No. Way. Jose. I like the game, but a backup and restore takes considerable time, as well as resetting options and preferences in some other apps to the default values, which is at best annoying. Any other games I’ve had this sort of problem with suggest removing and reinstalling the game, which Cervo specifically says should NOT be done with PW.

This is my absolute favorite game to pass the time. I can play for hours (on nearly nothing at times) bc these slots are loose... much looser than other slots games I’ve played. I can’t remember if I’ve ever actually ran out of coins more than maybe once or twice. I can be down to $5 and hit the right slots, the right way, a few times, and I’m back to at least $20,000+ in no time. When I’m really bored... or just want to be a little more adventurous, I do actually purchase coins to play with, so I can bet a lot bigger. The huge sales you guys do often are amazing, so I never spend more than $10 of real money at a time. The ONLY THING I can complain about is the fact that the tournaments have been down for months and I miss them!! You guys have had many updates... why haven’t y’all fixed that yet?! It’s not the end of the world, I just can’t wait to play them again now that I have more of a strategy. If you’re thinking about downloading this game, DO IT!! You won’t be disappointed! ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️
Not only do you design a great app maintained it very well. I have had no trouble with it. If ever a commonsense fix for an occasional issue of any app I always refer to what Apple has recommended. I do not waste my time posting anything negative towards the app or it’s designers. Of course this is a fun app! It also depends on how well people decide to maintain their device about updates and not having too many apps open at once. Obviously this has a lot to do with how smoothly things run. It’s been my experience with your Pharoah’s Way entertainment app to find more ways to enjoy with secret features based on the player’s own achievements and supported by increased time spent within the app itself while exploring to be based upon an overall well thought out finely designed premium game app that I enjoyed from day one. Awesome game, just needs added device support for iPad Pro 11
I love this game. It’s got great interactive features, great visuals and fun mini games. Combined all with a simple interface, makes it an easy and enjoyable experience. My only qualm is that I almost exclusively use it on my 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch, but the app still hasn’t been updated for the slightly wider aspect ratio, almost a year after the iPad Pro 11’s release. Add that and this would be a near perfect slots game!
They don’t even try to hide it. I have played this for years, worked my way up to Black Level. My purchase levels increased credits and I was happy. Now, they lowered my purchase level and institute the High Roller thing. Let me just clue everyone in, High Roller = you spend a lot of money on credits. If you don’t, don’t waste your credits trying. I had 30 million credits, thought I’d try, collected 3 of the 8 symbols needed. Guess what, the next day I was back to needing 8 again. They don’t accumulate over time, they are gone the next day so you’d better spend more. Now if I buy credits and lose them in short time it is a very long time before I spend another dollar. I’m not going to give in to the very obvious money grab going on here. Especially considering what I spent to get to Black.
I have been playing Max Bet for at least 3 weeks now to achieve the Collect 8 High Roller icons but have only collected 2, which were between hundreds and I mean hundreds of spins. I have had this app for several years and never attempted anything like this to collect all 8. So what gives when you play for hours on end and yet can’t collect the one thing you need? I wrote an email from the app to the app developer before and no response. Please fix this or let me know what to expect, since when i restart the app after closing it out, the icons I have collected are gone. Thank you.
This slot game is very tight. Most slot games give you millions of points to start out and you have fun winning. This one gave me thousands like 25,000. I can only bet 200 or 300 because the points go fast. The bonuses are few and far between and when they come up you don’t actually win much. I used to love this slot game and then it took all my points, I stopped playing for a couple years and just recently came back to it, I will stop playing when the points run out. Too many slot games out there to have to purchase points. I’ll just switch slot games. Wish they would loosen up this one though.
I’ve played a lot of slot games over the years... and this has ALWAYS been the best! I love how you never know when you’re going to hit it big. So many other slot games are so scripted and obviously geared toward making you spend money all the time. Sure... I make in game purchases... but I can play for a LONG time with a purchase on this game. It’s so much better than the other games. I just started back playing it and I was happy to have been able to get back to my same rank when I downloaded the app again. Also for the first time ever I had just bought ten dollars worth of coins and with that I have reached the most amount of coins ever over $100,000,000. I'm happy with this but I am playing from my cell phone and it is constantly showing gamecenter ads right at the top of my screen. It's rather annoying. Other than that I have no problems with giving a five star rating if the ads are removed from the screen. Sincerely Nathan
This is the second time I have tried playing this game. The coins go in, but I win nothing. Getting ahead is not a concern. It won't happen. I am down to betting 500 chips and when I win anything, it is a fraction of my bet and it takes a lot of no pay spins jut to get 50 coins. The thing that really bothers me is seeing the words "good spin" when I bet 500 and finally get 50 back. It feels like they are rubbing salt in my wounds. They want me to buy coins to play a game I can't win and annoying me with good spin or fantastic when I finally get back less than one bet is not going to make me buy coins. It is going to make me delete the app
I have played this game for a long time, and really enjoy it. I am on sacred mountain, brave defender and am wondering when the rest of the games are coming. I am now on level 1090. Does no good to advance the level because you never get any more games to play. What is the problem? I am now way further than 1090 and still NO new games what’s the problem here? I have a notion to just delete the game and find something else!
I played this for years on my fire tablet got help when ever I needed it . Now I try to transfer my progress to my iPhone it will not let me . It lets me play but will not let me connect to Facebook says I need special permission and I cannot find support to help me at all . I had five years of money and had been through every level now I have to start all over . I will probably delete soon because it was not easy to get to the level I was on ! Maybe they will read this and try to help me !!!
I’ve just changed a new iPad and having trouble to transfer my 5 years effort of reward points from my old iPad. I tried my luck to email the support team, not having too much faith in it, but unbelievable that I got the reply on the next day, they guided me through and within 3 days , the game in my new iPad was working and updated ! Very efficient support team, thank you.
I have been playing this game for years. Love the game. Support has been extremely helpful. I have changed devices several times. They were always successful in transferring progress to new device. Some difficulty last time due to communication was going out on 2 different emails. Once I figured that out they were able to transfer progress.
This was a fun slot game but recently, all that happens is lose and lose some more. My balance went from over $11million down now to 50K. There seems to be no way to get back those credits so the decision is "to delete or not delete". This has become quite frustrating in a game I used to love to play. Still a fun game but the prices are not competitive with other slot games.
I have been playing this game from the beginning. With the pandemic I have been playing more. As you get highrper in the levels you make fewer credits. I went from 43million down to 2. When you buy credits you loose them as fast as you buy them. As I said as you go higher into the 800s you make less and less credits, on mega runs, no game with the ability to win in the thousands etc, many turns with no wins at all. I have deleted this game from my iPad and my phone. I repeat IT IS A MONEY MAKING SCHEEM THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO WIN IS THE COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!L
I have played this game for years. When you offer anything like extra diamonds or unlocked games. I can not get squat I will not play anymore if you offer anything for "free" I will wait till you go back and not give anything for "free". LOVE THIS GAME. all the different bonus rounds and different ways to play the same game. So fun. Keeps it interesting. Only wished I could resume where InI was at level 520 after getting a different computer. Many failures to launch recently. Haven’t played it for some time. Just want to start off with I love love love this game and it’s mine and my husbands favorite slots game (actually the only one we like) but I hate that I constantly have to redownload the levels all the time especially when this is my game that I like to play when I don’t have internet. This game can be fun, but play it for a while and you will realize that the program is designed to screw you! To quadruple win, pick the correct suit. Amazing how many times same suit comes up........until you pick that one. Same with double win. Red or black wins. The program is designed to throw opposite what you pick, 99.9% of the time. You've got better odds at a real casino. All I can say is take the free daily spin points and the hourly bonus points and never play below the amount they give you. And NEVER pay to play this game! This issue is driving me crazy. The one star is given to get attention to it. It began several weeks ago. I do not know if this is isolated to my server or not. It happens to wife iPad as well. Every move from one slot to the next or from one land to the next, it asks to download new updates. I have updated some slots repeatedly to view its occurrence. I am worried these repeat updates are consuming my IPad memory. It is a real bad feeling going through this each time. Stopped using it too. CAN ANYONE HELP ME? Otherwise, I think the game is great fun.
I am at level 843 and I’m not moving. It’s not showing me it is passed 840. It needs an update. There is something about the developer needs to add a privacy thing. Is that the problem? All of the reviews are 3 and 4 years ago. I love this game. Please update so we can continue to play. Thanks.

Have played this game for several years. Love it but lately it freezes and even restarting my phone doesn’t help. Please fix this. While I’m at it, even though it’s FB connected changing devices restarts the game progress. Was on level 299 until I got a new phone now I’m on level 40 and it froze up. Love love love this game.
This app is a lot of fun and I enjoy all of the different kinds of slots. Just when you’re getting tired of one slot, it’s time for another one. All the extra puzzles and opportunities to earn credits are great too. I recommend it highly but careful as it is very addictive. I find myself wiling away many of the COVID-19 hours with this app.
I had played the original game before years ago but this updated version is great, the graphics are great and the screen is larger, much easier to see, the payouts so far is very good so far, although most slots start out that way but changes later, we’ll see how it goes.

I have several slots on my phone and pad, and I’ve revised my thinking. Your games and payouts are among the very best. More importantly, there is never a delay with spinning speed or response time. I have always loved the graphics. You have excellent developers so now it is time to bring out a couple more new levels that will peak our interest.
I'm at level 572 I am waiting on my bonus points. This game used to be fun especially trying to get to the next levels. When are the bonus points going to appear. I click on the app, goes to the loading screen for a split second and crashes. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the problem still exists. Guess I won’t be playing this app any time soon. I have been emailing forever about not being able to play the games that have a jackpot with them. Not sure what the issue is or why I cannot get a resolution. I can click on the game itself but I cannot spin, change the betting amount or exit the game. I have to clear out my history on my iPad in order to get back in to play a different game. I don’t know what it is about this particular game, but I’ve tried others but always come back to this one. You get a variety slots to choose from and with cool Egyptian themed slots. I always try and see what’s the highest I can win by beating my previous totals. Give it a try, it’s my favorite!
This is actually a rather fun game in a different way, it is relaxing. Typically when playing on these casino style games, the pace is almost frantic. That sort of excitement can be fun at times. However, this game with its exotic music and graphics definitely has a place. You can have fun, win, and relax and wind down from your busy work and life.

It’s easier to reach new levels and new slots than other similar slots games. That makes this game more enjoyable. And each new slot is much different than the last one making the playing experience more interesting.
Bonuses are small after playing this game for over 8 years I’m still only getting 5500 in coins every 4 hours and I’m at level 2000 the highest level so far and my status still is just VIP while other games are giving millions and millions in coins.
This had been a good app with regular updates and added features. There have been no updates for over a year. There are many better slot games available which are well supported with frequent updates. This is not bad to pass the time. I had purchased credits many times, but I stopped. I would rather spend my money on a product that is going to improve and grow.

This is my favorite slots app. Most are ridiculously stingy. Good old Pharaoh lets you win enough to not go broke. Plenty of bonuses and side games. Also, you progress through different machines rather than having a big mess of choices.

This used to be a great game! I played it whenever I had any extra time at all I loved this game it was awesome!! It seems every time you win big it is followed by continuous low payouts lower than your bet until it gets you down to nearly nothing before paying out another big win which is less then your previous big win.
