The app is so much better then it used to be. It actually works and isn’t super glitchy anymore. It’s actually enjoyable and easy to use. I changed my one star to a 5 star review.
Overall great app, I love the usability of the app and finding things is simply. But it’s very different from the website version. I am unable to find PPC01FR on the app but it’s available on the website. This is just an example but I hope the app develops more and brings more success!
Can’t login.... Update: Had to sign up and create an acct even though I have one for their website. Update: wish list doesn't transfer over to the website
I have a Snap-On account that works fine on the web. But can’t login with the app. Not sure I understand the point of the app, if I can only browse as a guest but not order anything on my account.
You would think that as more young people join the industry you’d want to target them more and more by a solid app that you can view the website see prices and purchase from there or talk to a dealer. Unfortunately this app is very frustrating to navigate through especially the search bar and you can’t even make orders through it. I think it’s time that Snap-on creates an app because this is just a storage eater. Everyone loves your tools and everyone doesn’t like the app
Everyone’s complaints are pretty right on with functionality or lack there of. For whatever reason my app always showed pricing until a couple days ago and now it’s gone! It’s ok Snap On you don't have to be embarrassed of your extreme prices we know they are high! I have spend tens of thousands of dollars with snap on tools in my career and we can’t get pricing and a quality app? Maybe find a good app and “rebrand” it blue point.
App doesn’t work. You can only get so deep into it, before it tells you no items are available for the particular category you are trying to view. It does this with every single item. Also, can’t link to a distributor because it claims my captcha failed, except there is not captcha available to complete. Always seems to be something with SO lately. 🤷♂️
The functionality of this app got me to stop carrying my iPad into shops. It only works when when connected to the internet. It only works in landscape mode on iPad. It is much less useful than the previous app. (Which was basically a big pdf of the catalog with built in links) But it would work with or without internet access (excluding the links, of course)
App works fine, decent warranty. Don’t really understand the payment arrangement for the app though, .25 cents a week for 26 weeks seems kinda weird but I can afford that I guess.
This app is great for folks who want to browse the catalog on the go. Serious issues are, it can be very slow and sometimes you click an item and the page that loads is blank. Very frustrating!
You really need to work on the search function so hard to find the correct tool you’re looking for when every time you scroll through the results it takes you to the tool you were over when you scrolled up and you have to re-search. that drives me nuts.
I hated the original app because it was horribly “optimized” for mobile. If you ever used it, you know exactly what I mean. Was excited to see this app, only to find that unlike the horrible original app, which actually let you order tools from, this app has ZERO ordering functionality!!! A nicely designed, online catalog, that you CANNOT order from?!?!? It’s almost laughable. Great for surfing their catalog: useless for anything else. Get with it, Snap-on! It’s the year 2020. Mobile ordering is “a thing” now. Sheesh....
I go on there site to look up a tool. I take the tool number and enter it on the app so I can save it to my favorites. Tells me the tool doesn’t exist. Then I manually try to find it on the app and its not on there.
I love snap-on products but the catalogue has no price listings. Now I’m going back and forth between an awesome catalogue in the app and a horribly optimized website to see prices it’s ridiculous.
Snap on charges a premium for their product and this app is nowhere near premium. For starters where do you go to connect with your mobile dealer?? There’s nothing on here
Although the app is better than their online catalog is doesn’t give you prices. Snap on needs to fire whoever is in charge of their online marketing department.
Where is the old application that actually had content, there is nothing here, only a facade out front. Like an old western town, only ghosts abound in this town.
