Very Comfortable

I have a lot of allergies, sensitive skin and fibromyalgia. Any synthetic fabrics make my skin sweat and actually cause me pain. I might even get a rash from them. When I discovered Soma 10 years ago, it really made my life so much easier! Soft, comfortable and breathable fabrics in cute flattering clothes! Their rayon is made from bamboo which is soft and breathable. Other synthetic rayons are made from toxic chemicals and make me sweat and cause shoulder pain - I know crazy right? I’m allergic to synthetic clothes! And hey - just because you can’t feel the pain like I do doesn’t mean those fabrics aren’t bad for you too! ;) I love Soma! Customer for life!

Least Functional App Ever

I love Soma and their products, but the app is sooo frustrating. I’m relatively tech savvy, and use other shopping apps constantly, but this one consistently won’t load my account information. For months, it’s given me a “failed to load data, check your internet connection” notice, but my connection is fine and all other apps are working seamlessly. I have it set to automatically update the app, so an out of date app shouldn’t be the issue. Every single time, I end up switching to the website to actually place an order. The search functions are also strangely unspecific. Why is it I can go into, for example, “Cool Nights”, but then only search by size and inseam? What??? Why not category, like bottoms, camis, tops, etc.? It’s like whoever designed this app didn’t bother to think about how people actually shop for clothes. It’s annoying when I want to shop quickly for lounge pants, and have to sort through everything, or put it in the search bar and hope it sorts thoroughly. Soma, you have a great product, but your tech needs work!

Great products, bad customer service

I love Soma products but I have been so disappointed with their customer service. Recently I placed an order with which I had terrible luck with. It wasn’t allowing me to log into my account or place an order. When I finally did get the order placed after attempting multiple times on my app and my computer, I was charged twice. When I talked to a representative at Soma about it, she essentially told me to take it up with my bank even though they were the ones who had charged me. I finally got that sorted out but my order still has not arrived when it said it would be here yesterday. The order also appears to have shipped in two separate parts. After all of this, I can’t even log in to my account to track my order or anything. I have tried logging in both on the internet and on my app with no luck. All of this to say I am very frustrated and disappointed.

Soma is great, but the app needs work!

Cool nights have products that I discovered when I was very sick with Shingles and now I wonder how I’d live without them - pants, nightshirts, etc. ❤️However, while I love the products and the idea of an app, the Soma one does need some work, especially on the checkout functions. I can generally shop for what I want - filters could provide more functionality - but once I go to check out, that’s when I generally run into issues: issues with discounts, seeing / applying any coupons or promos, inventory that is low (if you’ve put an item into your cart, but it has since sold out, it does not work well at all!). I can provide specific examples, if desired. Please make it easier for loyal customers to buy stuff. 😁

Something’s wrong with the app

I’ve been sitting g here for over 2 hours trying to order 2 (of the same cool nights night shirt) for my mom. Every time I added 2 it added an additional 2, so 4 to my cart. I’d delete 2 of them & it would delete all 4. So I went in and ordered 1 at a time & it added the 1 + 2 more. If I deleted one of them it would delete all 3. So now I am purchasing 3 because there was no way to just get rid of one. I will have to go to the store & waste time & gas (money) to return it !!! This is the stupidest thing & a waste time of time. I just got the app to get the 10% discount offered & I didn’t even get the 10% for the app. It says no offers for me & no way to get it. Once I get my order I’m deleting the app.. I’ll just use google & order there from now on..

Errors

I love this store, but the app has loads of glitches.. I tried to buy some stuff to get my discount the last day of the offer.. and I bought it, but after loads of patience. I had to download the app again because I would not get the images and then at checkout I ordered one to many of one item, and it took forever to remove the one item.. and it became an error.. so I had to delete the item and re-order.. just a pain.. not a user friendly app.. I would have stopped my purchase if I did not like the products as much.. terrible..

Not worth my money anymore

I absolutely love soma, I spend so much money there on my nice and comfortable underwear and bras! However, recently I have moved. It wasn’t until this move that I realized that two of my favorite underwear‘s had broken! One was in the wash and ofc I take responsibility for that, but another hadn’t even been washed yet, and it was a brand new maroon colored one! I am so disappointed in the products because I have a few that are almost a year old and have never broken on me. The worst part is, I have worn these underwear and I live somewhere we’re there is no Soma. I am in tears because of this! Recommendation, go back to making your underwear a better way so your not having this happen to your customers!

More comfortable

Some was introduced to me by a friend almost 16 years ago in NJ. Since I have introduced my daughter to Soma 8 years ago. We are in Florida and so happy to have Soma so close to us now. We both will not buy any other bras or panties accept Soma garments. We try to catch the sales. Fit is important to both of us and comfort. We are hooked on the Pajamas. In store has been most successful for us. Although we do order online as well. I did have a problem at first but I called and the customer service helped me. I just love the service available.

Soma Soft

I love Soma! The nightwear and lingerie are soft, comfortable, stylish and of superb quality. The bra’s are the only bras that fit correctly. I’m a 34 DD and these are one of the few company’s offering straps that support and stay in place. I have tried Chantelle, Warners an Natori. They have a much higher price point, but Soma offers the better quality fit, construction and bras that stay in place. I have never been happier than I have been with my Soma bras.

My Terrible experience

After spending a chunk of time making selections and adding to favorites and / or to my cart; I noticed that the sale prices did not match the shown price while making selection of sale items. It was significantly higher. Note that as I chose color and size, the site would show the different prices for the different styles. But when I went back and checked my selections in the cart, the sale prices did not match what was previously shown. I called customer service to inquire about the problem, and they told me this was normal. As someone who shops online often, that is not accurate. I am also not new to Soma online shopping. I cannot recommend at all.

Great clothes, crap app

While I like the retailer and their merchandise, this app isn’t great. It took FOREVER to link my rewards to it after a few calls to customer service, so not an easy set up experience. And now, notifications are finally showing up (as of November’23, but the notification mark on the app itself won’t ever go away. I’ve tried deleting messages, clicking on every single icon and tab in the app. Nothing works. And now (as of January’24) my rewards are unlinked again, but it stills shows me signed into the app. Help??

Website and app are difficult

I do only online shopping and very tech savey. Both the web version and app are far too annoying with pop-ups and non functioning things . I just wanted to order one thing and pay. Trying to get the right discounts was impossible. I had codes and it wouldn’t let me paste. The web version wanted to give me my rewards but since I couldn’t seem to get to point where I could enter a credit card I had to move to the app. The app Didn’t offer me my rewards there at all. The searches are not good and don’t come back with the right results for keywords. Love the products but this was painful! Have

App kept adding multiple items

It took me over an hour to place an order with the app because the app kept crashing and I had great WiFi connection. Also app kept adding multiples of the same item to my bag and when I would delete the extra items would take all of that same item out of my bag. Ended up ordering extra even though I didn’t want to because it was swimsuits and didn’t want to run the risk of them running out. Really wish all the Soma stores would carry swimsuits because trying to order them online and guest on which size is going to work best is hard. Love Soma products but honestly hate there website and app and won’t be using it again.

So glitchy - lost my cart several times

Really needing new undergarments and was excited about their sale. Love Soma. Unfortunately the app had errors twice and wiped my cart after spending a lot of time picking sizes and colors for 20+ products. Wouldn’t let me check out after all of this because something went out of stock and didn’t tell me what the products were. You can’t filter out products well. Glitches while scrolling. Looks like most people had a better experience so I’m not sure what the problem is. Mostly annoyed that I wasted so much time trying to shop on this app to not end up getting to order. I’d recommended just using the desktop version to avoid this

Shopping online a lot harder than it should be

I wasn’t allowed to use a coupon for allowing the company to have my email because I waited too long to use it. I was disconnected twice on the Soma chat help line. Via phone customer service said for me to just send in another email to get my 20 percent off coupon. With this coupon I read I was also to get free shipping. I did not. This shopping experience could have taken 15 to 20 minutes. It has taken a lot longer and I have a big headache right now. Also, items could be grouped together better for ease of finding your items, colors etc. I like giving high marks but just couldn’t shopping on Soma.

Quality! Quality! Quality!

I’ve been shopping Soma for at least 10 years. I still have nightgowns from when I first ordered. It’s quality, it lasts forever and it always fits properly. What can more can you ask from my clothing manufacturer? Not to mention the rewards program makes it worth it to keep my panty drawer and bra drawer well stocked. Thanks SOMA!!

Fastest way to get clothing, the best sleep ware available and the most comfortable and best variety of styles and colors for panties and bras anywhere. Their undies are the prettiest and most comfortable to be found.

Misleading advertisement

I have never tried this company before but I saw on Facebook a deal of 10 for $40 on panties. So I decided to give it a try but as I was completing my order the website informed me that some of the stuff was out of stock nevertheless I still wanted to try out there underwear deal so I went back and check on which items were out of stock. Sadly the way they have the website I wasn’t able to know which items were out of stock. Now the next day I went back to try and get that same deal but now they have it for 5 for $39.

Review

I tried placing an order last night but was unable to process it. Tried again this morning with the site saying an item was out of stock but it wasn’t saying which item. Had to call customer service and she explained to take out whatever item said low inventory. That worked but it was a long process to place an order.

THE APP IS VERY FRUSTRATING

I recently downloaded the app and had to create a new password since it was not recognizing my email or my reward number. I received an email confirming my account with a new reward number. Tried to open the app to my account today and now getting a message that it doesn’t recognize my email even though I have received three emails from soma today regarding my order and the current deals they are offering.

Not all Sizes on App

I shop here because Soma actually carries my size (36H). I saw a bra was available in my size on the website and decided to download the app for easier purchase. Saw the same bra on the app and it didn’t have my size (only up to a DDD). And I went to filter by size and mine wasn’t anywhere on the list!!! I know for a FACT they have that size so why is it only available on the website? The app is still considered “online” so it can’t be an online only issue. Very disappointed.

Shipping & handling

I have been shopping with Chico’s since 2002 and have free shipping on orders. I chatted with costumer service last week and was assured that I would have that benefit with a soma order. Just made order and was charged for shipping. Take from chat transcript: You are a full member at Soma since 2002. So you get free standard shipping on all orders. Soma does not offer a 5% discount like Chico's. I’d like soma to honor this by reimbursing me for shipping cost.

I think Soma is losing its focus in foundations

Soma has always been a brand that caters to 35+ women. Quality products that serve their groups different needs. They used to have an amazing selection of Balconette bras, now only a few and they look quite matronly. Years ago, Soma offered this great series called Cooling Bras. But those Balconette versions made a woman look amazing. Young, lifted, it made any shirt or dress just look “extra”. Better than any bra that says “lift” or “support” I’ve never seen anything to replace it. The app itself is weak: not enough filters. Ex: bra style. Cup style: full coverage, demi, balconette. I feel like this was once a possibility, now the focus is lounge wear/apparel. Pricing: fine. Shop your sales. Strongly recommend the “vanishing underwear”. Fits great and does move.

I 💗 💗💗 Soma but…

I love Soma as a brand… I sleep in their pj’s every night. The app gave me some major problems, for example: after shopping it wouldn’t let me in the cart, it kept saying retry so I kept pressing retry, and over and over until I closed it and reopened (hoping my cart would still be there). I eventually got to my cart. Checkout had a couple glitches too. It all worked out in the end but it was a pain in the buttocks because it was very frustrating. I gave 4 ⭐️’s because I think they are a great brand, great quality products… Maybe they had technical difficulties that day? I will definitely order again and update my review accordingly.

So disappointed

I have ordered Soma for many years and they can’t get it together with the Reward points. I have never been able to use my rewards when ordering online and seem to get assigned numerous different numbers to identify my rewards. So disappointing and very frustrating

Great Supportive Bras

I love these bras!! I’ve had the hardest time finding bras since I have an uncommon size, 36G. I didn’t even know I was a G until finally finding Soma. These bras are so comfortable and supportive and finally a perfect fit, which keeps my back from hurting. Plus, they’re super cute and work great with all styles of clothing!

Room for improvement

This is a visually beautiful app. Functionally, the app has a lot of room for improvement. The filters are terrible. If I’m shopping for a bra, I generally have an idea of what I want to purchase. Let’s say I want a wireless bra - there is no way to filter for only wire free styles. Or bras that are racerback. Or type of material. Quite frankly, I find this app so frustrating and slow to use that I usually resort to using a laptop rather than the app.

Soma wants to make it difficult to be a customer

Tried to order two pajama sets for three days. Password didn’t work then reset password didn’t work and then locked out of account. Called customer service today and hit a snarky dismissive agent that I finally told her I was hanging up as she was making me madder! Why require a letter first in a password? This is not convenient for customers!! Ordered my pajamas finally but not without all this extra stress. Will look for another vendor in the future as Soma is not customer friendly!!!

Disfunctional

I’m surprised this app so many good reviews. The filters do not function properly. I select filters and it brings up items that do not match the filter (bras and underwear in lounge and dress filters…?) Be careful when adding items to a cart. I switched products and it added a second of the previous item I had added and not the page I was on. I believe this how a previous order of mine was messed up. Def recommend the website over whatever awful iteration this app is currently on.

Comfort at last!

Every side I fractured a vertibrae 2 years ago I have been searching sir bras that don’t feel like a torture device. Finally I can wear bras all day that I don’t immediately want to stop off the moment I come home. Not only that, they have the support and lift I need.

Aggravating screen settings

This app for the most part is user friendly. The most frustrating aspect is the fact the developers are not savvy enough to make sure it operates in landscape mode. I use this app on my iPad and it is a pain to have to turn my iPad to sideways so I can shop. In this digital age you would think the developers would have taken care of this already.

The "Go To" store for lingerie!

I have had trouble with other stores changing the quality of their products. Soma has remained consistent with their quality and flattering styles. Their colors and fabrics remain like new wash after wash. It's always a treat to shop with Soma!

I didn’t understand

When attempting to check out, I kept getting message that something was out of stock. Exactly which item of 7 was not noted. I started deleting until I was left with 3! The last thing I chose was the one. I could have purchased the first three I deleted. How frustrating!

App doesn’t work well

Just an fyi in advance all, this app will give you issues if you try to click on your profile. It will not populate for you, it’s been years of me trying to access my “favorites” which I know I have saved. I had to call once to wait on hold to find out what my order history was (no I can’t remember this stuff I have to look it up, which is the point of having (“favorites”) Surprised that Soma hasn’t addressed this yet, get on it!

Not the greatest

The app is not that user friendly. There is a learning curve. I had to delete the app twice bc it’s kept glitching. Also, there are so many extra steps. Items in bag then if you want to delete an item you have select edit then you have to select do you want to save to favorites or delete then you have to select done. Then it refreshes all over again. And if you are using coupons you have to copy then add…. Why so many steps????

Love Soma but the app

This app frustrates me! Sometimes, I add items to my cart but don’t immediate checkout, life stuff, so I go back in a couple joes and the cart Errors! The solution, I don’t know. Close the app, go to my browser and try it all over again! I also find it challenging when it says “complete the look” but it’s not a link to coordinates! Nope, your own your own to go find it.

Wacko

I spent 45 minutes reentering updated CC info & kept getting no response. Then when I finally got the info to ‘stick’, I couldn’t delete a pair of pj shorts. There were 2 of the same size/pattern in my cart. If I deleted one, both deleted. Just crazy. So I paid more in tax & will now have to return the extra pair of sleep shorts. Ridiculous. I’ve had trouble with this site in the past. Won’t be ordering online for awhile. It’s too frustrating & time consuming!🤯🫤

Coupon look up

Improvement , however we are not there yet ! The ease of using coupons. You have to look up Open offers Copy and paste them However only one can go in that window Then at the checkout you have opportunity to paste another reward The ease of checkout needs work View offers Then you should be able to click on said rewards and add them to your cart at the checkout. Buggy

Love that Soma has an app but from a technical standpoint, improvement is needed. Logging into my account doesn’t translate to logging in at my shopping cart. Which means I have to log in a second time (after I’ve completed most of my checkout by clicking a tiny check box for my rewards.) Design also poor with text fields overlapping. Soma, you can do MUCH better. This is disappointing.

Several issues

First off, I’ve never been able to view the account tap. It always “fails to load” and after retrying a few times to load it, it signs me out. Favorites are a hit and miss. Sometimes they save, mostly the disappear. I mostly use this app to look at bras and go to the actual website to purchase them. I don’t trust the app to make an actual order.

Live chat button not working on hold for way too long

The app is frequently slow, or downright unresponsive. I’m trying to contact via live chat option and nothing is happening when it is clicked. Called and was on hold for almost ten minutes, and am now supposed to get a call back- we’ll see. Frustrating bc I’m trying to contact Soma regarding your price adjustment policy and very conveniently for Soma I am not getting through.

Cool nights

Cool nights have been the best PJs I have ever found. A friend introduced me to those about 10 years ago. I only wish I had found them long before that . They have to be the most comfortable PJs that are on earth.

Promos do not show up correctly

Shows incorrect promos for items and the cart is super buggy. Was able to complete purchase but was much harder than it should have been Should also have better abilities to sort and filter. Other apps just work better and are more interactive

Best for all women

I’ve been a SOMA shopper for years. My daughters would get me gift certificates for holidays because they knew I wouldn’t spend a lot of money on myself. I’ve tried other brands but I love how well their products wear, wash and fit.

Terrible App

Can’t log in until the very end of the checkout process and then you have to re-enter all info (i.e., name, address, credit card number, etc.) that you’ve already entered. I believe that when someone is trying to by something from you, you should make it as painless as possible. I like the product and want to earn points; therefore I chose to proceed with using this app’s very painful process.

Great app and love how everything looks

The app is easily navigated and can be pretty simple to find what I want or need, but for some reason I have no access to the profile tab anymore, so I can’t see any recent purchases or anything to check to see when I can expect to get my package. Please fix this.
