Love! Played for six months now, Only few minor cons
Con (few): It is hard to get certain cards it’s about luck, and which doctor Token is stupid strong and needs to be nerfed lol. I quit games when I see him. Can be hard to upgrade your cards, as materials start to thin out severely when you get further in the game. But just be patient and they will come and replay story mode episodes. That is as long as you don’t want to spend money. Pro: This game is one game that I play every single day and I have been for the past six months. It’s really funny with the sounds and voices that are in the animations when you lay down a character and what they say sometimes. They even keep up with the new shows! They still add in new cards which I love. The card art is amazing and I even have been tempted to make some my phone background lol. I have been playing for six months and still haven’t finished the full story because it can get extremely hard really fast, but that’s just because you have to upgrade your decks which can take some time. And it’s good that you can’t just finish the story really quickly, leaves you something to look forward too and it feels so good when you take down that boss you have been struggling on. In conclusion: This is a amazing game and probably the only mobile game I’ve ever played everyday for this long. As long as your willing to put time into this game (again assuming you don’t want to buy card packs) it can be great.

I have this game downloaded to 3 phones, it’s that addicting
This game is great, especially if you love South Park. You get little voice clips and an entrance animation from each character as you play their card. The story mode is great and gets progressively more difficult, as it should. You don’t have to spend money to enjoy the game, you don’t have to buy card packs to get a crazy card pull. You can get them in free packs or you can earn them after destroying 5 phones in pvp mode or from lockers after you win your matches. You get to open 3 for free and you can watch ads to open additional lockers for more rewards. You can also earn packs of cards through events which are held basically daily! If you do have a little money to spend, I suggest buying the battle pass each season. It’s definitely worth the purchase, you get way more than what you pay for but, if you don’t buy the battle pass, don’t worry, they’ve got you covered with a free side of the battle pass as well, you could just potentially earn more if you do buy the battle pass. Thank you for taking your time reading my review. I have this game on 3 phones, 2 old phones I use Wifi with and my most recent upgrade. I truly appreciate the creators of this game. I’m currently watching South Park while playing South Park lmaoooo

The Way ALL Mobile Games Should Be..
First off, I am a huge fan of all things Matt & Trey so on that note I must admit I’m a tad biased. Regardless, my problem with practically all mobile games are Micro-Pays and the fact that in most cases it is impossible to obtain or complete certain in-Game specials/events/etc but that is not the case here! You receive a free pack of cards every 4 hours and it will allow an additional pack to build up so after 8 hours you can open two consecutive packs. After every battle you win (whether campaign or pvp) you can open 3 lockers and if you don’t get what you wanted you have the option to open additional lockers with in-Game currency. Also every 4 hours you can earn a pack of cards by winning 3 pvp battles. There’s two different in-game shops that shuffle inventory every 24 hours and offer items to purchase using the in-game currency you earn by playing. It is ENTIRELY possible to obtain the best cards, complete special events and upgrade your deck WITHOUT spending a dime of real money. Since the game is actually fun in every aspect it makes you want to spend real money on improving your deck. I buy the 500 cash for $4.99 every couple of weeks to have a little currency for opening lockers and I play constantly so it goes a long way. There are some glitches here and there that get a little irritating now and then but that is to be expected so all in all, I really can’t say a bad thing about it.. Sorry for the length, but I hope it helps!

The only review you will need
First off get Game Center. You can't play without it. Now, some friends of mine could not get the game to work on their phone, neither could I. I had to get this game on my IPad. Game will crash every now and then which could keep you from getting rewards if it crashes before opening lockers. You can only have 2 themes in your deck so you can't use all cards you collect. During the games story you will have to play PvP to continue. You also have to reach high ranks in PvP in order to unlock the chance to get new cards. Other minor bugs like being attacked by a character while waiting for the boss animation to finish. Also some bosses break the rule of having two of the same characters out at the same time while you can't. Getting card packs isn't that easy and all good packs cost premium currency. Once you adjust to all these problems this game is great. All characters are voiced and everything looks and feels 100% South Park. Needing to do PvP is that much of a pain because you do get rewarded with a pack of cards. LOTS of replay ability, you can replay levels and the rewards keep changing up. Real fun when you play with other friends. Some friends who have played clash royal have told me it's not very similar so if you think it's going to be the same expect some changes. But my one last gripe is that there's no chef. Once Chef is added to the game i will truly be able to enjoy the game, but I definitely recommend this game 100%.

Got addicted when i started playing
First let me say i wasn’t really into South Park but the games always made me laugh and the art style was appealing to me as well as the name “Phone Destroyer”; it made me think of me playing this game so much that my batter would already be so low after so long of playing the game, which i can see happening. The rules, strategies, and details of how the game works is fairly quick to understand which is good. The card packs idea with different rarity reminds me of other games but the phone like animations, and interacting with opening the packs with your finger...just things like that I really dig about this game. It’s a shame you can only play online though, but I do beg and ask of this company, “PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE allow this game to be played offline somehow, some way, it deserves it, that’s how badly I want to destroy phones even mine!😂” If there is a way, there should be a way to add friends? I could be thinking a bit too much for this one game that’s good how it is right now. My point is, I highly recommend giving this game a try, I overlooked it once but I couldn’t help it the second time to tap the “get” button; which is another thing i am surprised in a good way about this game...it’s a free ticket to a lot of time to waste. Keep up the good work!🔥❤️

Not for free players
I really want to like this game. It' looks and starts out fun. But the pay wall is severe once you get to level 6 / pop rank 10 if you don't spend money you will never make it past. The game doesn't have an energy system which is good... but they lock you out of grinding by raising the levels of past defeated stages till the stage is to high of a level for you which means pay them money or no progress. Game crashes every time you try to transition from pop to deck editing. Events are supposed to be fun but are based on Pvp wins only so if you can't win against people who have clearly payed a lot of money you will never be able to get any rewards.. sadly I am not good at the game which means event rewards will never be obtainable for me. Match making puts you against players between 1 level below your rank and 3 levels above you. I have lost many matches where the opponent only summoned one creature and every creature I had including my commander couldn't kill it. I think the game would be playable if they didn't lock you out of grinding. They give you free packs every 4 hours but it'll take days before you can upgrade even a single character and it probably won't even be the one you wanted. Battles are very uneven.. whoever gets board control first will probably never lose it. I grew up watching South Park the game is later out to take advantage of your love of the franchise and then frustrate you until you pay money to enjoy or progress...

South Park Fan Who Doesn’t Play Mobile Games
I cannot praise this game any higher than I typically do when I recommend it to friends. Similar to the Console games, perfectly captures the essence of South Park. That having been said, the most important quality for any mobile game is to be fun and rewarding. Not only is the game constantly rewarding the player, and thereby keeping them invested, it never manages to stop being fun. The moment you feel it has become repetitive, it throws a curve ball to keep you invested. As somebody who typically does not play Phone/mobile games, I seriously cannot recommend this game with any higher praise that I already have. Any mobile games that I have played, I’ve never spent any actual money through microtransactions. That having been said, I’d gladly put down a couple of small payments here or there because the game truly does feel as though it’s given me enough the rewarding experience to warrant a couple payments to continue having even more fun. even better, it certainly isn’t pay to wait, like most games on the mobile market. You can continue to play all day if you would like, as there’s always something new to try a replay. Again, I cannot recommend this game enough.

Fairly frustrating
Phone Destroyer definitely lives up to its name when I find myself so frustrated that I want to smash my phone in a fit of rage like Kenny does in the game. Although I know that the game is still new it does come with its own end of annoying bugs or problems I found with the game. During pvp sessions I have found that my enemies characters have issues taking damage, or have found that some of my characters have been frozen in place after I brought them out and so they become completely useless during the battle and a waste of energy. PvP matching systems are in most cases fair but I have found myself with misfortune of being paired against someone who’s ranking is significantly higher than mine. Finally the story mode is fun to play but replayability becomes hard when I’ve repeated a level in hopes of better rewards and I’m only at level 5 and the enemies are already way stronger than mine when they barely posed a problem each level before mine and it’s not like getting upgrades for cards is an easy concept when my only methods are limited to making financial transactions, engaging in pvp combat and hoping I can get 3 wins for a pack, the occasional free pack, which is nice, or praying to god I get lucky with pve at higher rankings and manage to grind up high enough to get “better” loot drops. The game is fun to play but it’s slowly driving me mad.

Pretty okay game
I am a long time fan of South Park, and I was exited when a friend told me about this game. I immediately fell in love with it and soon got addicted. However, don’t buy the game if you don’t want to experience raging. The first thing I would like to talk about is PvP. Not only is it very annoying that you are forced to fight pvp before continuing with the game, but the algorithm is very unfair and 9/10 times matches you with either hackers or people many levels ahead of you, and you have no chance of winning. The 2nd thing is the online part. You CANNOT play this without WiFi. I myself don’t want to use cellular to play a mobile game, but without it you cannot play at all, and I am not always connected to internet. There have also been several instances when I have been close to winning a pvp game, it says “slow connection” and either I lose or the game crashes. Also once I was fighting the SciFi Timmy boss, the game showed him fall out of his chair as I have just beaten him, the picture of Jenny shows up and the app crashes, because of internet. When I got back on, I had to do that hard battle over again. That experience is what drove me to make this review. Overall a great game, but there are a few problems like the need for WiFi and constant crashing that can be easily fixed.

Heres whats awesome about this game- Bugs & glitches-its a lot of fun playing a match where special abilities dont work, characters just disappear, points dont get added, and players just float around the screen. Winning but losing- its also super fun playing team wars, actually winning a match and then not getting the win for it- especially when it matters. Really a cool twist. Also love how other players somehow can cheat. Ive seen other players drop a ton of players that would be impossible with reg card limits. Thats another plus. There is one group- superhero’s - which is and has been stronger than any other card group since it was added. Its never been leveled out to the other card groups and its just a waste of time playing anybody with superhero deck. Its just annoying really. The Pvp matching in this game had to have been created by a group of special ed meth addicts- it is and always has been extremely unbalanced- the best part of this game is constantly being matched up with opponents 4x as powerful and higher leveled than you. It really makes it fun not even having a chance. Keep it up nerds- there is a good game somewhere in here. The 1 out of 20 chance that you do get an even match in pvp, its actually very enjoyable. Another plus is there are no ads- so you guys get a smiley sticker for that. When you dorks are done licking walls maybe you can fix some of these other issues. Balls.

Expensive
I have played this game for three years when I downloaded it back in 2020 during the pandemic. It was really fun and addicting and I had no problems affording and spending money on this app. However, recently the app has taken a turn. While all my other apps work just fine, South Park phone destroyer grew too many glitches and technical issues. The game stopped connecting so I had to delete and reinstall several times. The screen would some times freeze when waiting for an opponent y to o begin a battle. What was worse of these recent issues was when I would win a battle it didn’t let me progress in rating and would give me invalid results. Ultimately, to avoid spending more money on this app, I went back to gaming on consoles like the PS 4, where the games only cost $50 and you can enjoy them so long as you keep them and your game console is still operating. Even than, a gaming console would only cost you $500 to $800 (PS 5). Nonetheless, I have spent well over $4000 on this app in the last three years and the support crew and developers can’t fix these issues or even address a customer with conversation. They just have a robot who reports your issues. The game is fun and addicting, but very expensive!

Too many CHEATERS!
Let’s face it. This is an awesome game that is tainted by cheaters. It’s obvious when you are fighting someone who is cheating and there is not one thing you can do about it. I’ve spent literally hundreds of dollars on this game trying to keep up and it is impossible. I’m level 18 and I have a lot of my main cards leveled to a 1000, yet I’ll get destroyed in seconds by some level 10 who then gets to rub his easy victory in by spamming obnoxious emotes the entire battle. It’s always nice when an update happens. Because I always start to win battles at the beginning of updates. Since the cheaters need to update their cheats and I’ll get this tiny grace period of fair play. Also a CHEATER! Emote needs to be added to the game. It’s also frustrating when you play the Man Bear Pig event and make it to the end of the event, opening all the cards and not pull one Man Bear Pig Card! I then bought 4 Man Bear Pig packs with the promise of a better chance of pulling a rare MBP card and STILL did not pull a MBP card. It makes you feel like everyone is cheating after nonsense like that. Yet I also am guilty of cheating, myself by continuing to play this frustrating game. It’s great when it’s great though.

PvP is pure bs
If you don’t cheat you will rarely win, if you don’t pay you will rarely win, and if you don’t have laggy connection you will never win. PvP is completely screwed up, how can anyone upgrade character or be able to win matches when you got people (basically like CoC) paying cash for everything its a money cash-grab scam that playing with your love of a show and uses it to beat you and your wallet down. I can’t blame them cause they are smart for doing it but at the same time, you would have tons of people paying for things if you made it at least fare for people who don’t have the money to be able to keep up with others who waste their money away and don’t even try to grind as hard as people like me. Its ridiculous that i get put up against 3 lvl highers than me and 1 lvl below me yet they have 1 creatures that tanks over everyone and then they lag hard af and win Its complete bs. How do you expect people to give this game 5* when you cant even take care of what needs to be done. I love the campaign but its not fare that after everytime you reattack the stories that they get harder instantly, i mean you have a meter bar and yet it jumps from green to red in a sec and you only play the mission twice , thats nonsense why wouldnt you make it longer for others to be able to grind and actually work harder at idea of playing to win not paying to win. Think about your players not their wallets and make the game fair.

GREAT GAME, BUT WAY TO MANY ENERGY HACKERS
Seriously Ubisoft. You are not dumb. Stop acting like there is not a problem when there is one. The game lags and crashes because of the significant amount of hackers running multiple clients for energy boosts, or just down right editing game coding with jailbroken devices. This is a seriously great game but you need to have a team led by someone with skills and ideas on how to catch these people. You spend so much time advancing so many things on the game and yet you fervently dent and reject any possibility of foul play. My suggestion- hire me, I will most definitely be able to eliminate this problem, I am not as technically savvy as most but in terms of deduction and my ability to think on my feet fast I can absolutely help your team make the game greater then all others in its category. So, Ubisoft. Let me ask you this; if I decided to work for you and I chose to do so as a reasonable wage. I’ll show you what I am capable of. I mean you would hire someone dedicated to making you great, just as much as you are. Shoot me a response, and not a cookie cutter bot response 🤷🏻‍♂️. Hope to hear back from you. Adam Z Lobbyist

Falling out of it
I’ve really enjoyed my time with this game, and I don’t regret any of the money I spent, it was a fun ride with my friends and I. But lastly, this game has been more frustrating to play then it is fun, constant derankers and hackers flooding the game makes it very unenjoyable, not to mention the e devs just straight up abandoned the game, they encourage this type of behavior and do nothing about it. I was willing to go far too, I would have dropped more money and fought to be at the top, but it doesn’t feel like there’s much of a point, the devs gave up. It’s sad to say goodbye to this game I’ve been playing for more than 2 years, but the rewards aren’t worth it and the prices are outrageous for a broken and glitchy game like this. If your a new player you’re going to struggle against derankers that bully weaker players to get free awards, they’re rewarded for this type of behavior.. I know because I started doing the same thing, it was the only way I could gain resources to get stronger and take on the 6500 league. It’s a shame, I loved this game. But it’s getting harder to play, soon I’ll delete it and spend my time and money on something more loved.. goodbye, and shame if the devs for giving up and letting the game get so broken just to be able to collect some money from new players.

Good, yet need a lot of improvements
First of all I am a South Park fan since I was little, the show is just full of creativity and unexpected events that truly fascinates me. So when this game came out, I downloaded it. The general mechanic is pretty fun to play, it’s skill based yet not as frustratingly pay to win as clash royale. But on the other side, the game does not let you replay a level on the same difficulty unless you reach difficulty 15. And that’s pretty stupid because if you are not lucky enough, you could easily miss the reward you wanted. And the cards are REALLY hard to level up if the system is completely based on luck. Also the cards are very unbalanced, for example the legendary cards like Manbearpig and grand wizard Cartman are frustratingly expensive, and you can easily counter them with any assassin + sheriff Cartman and build a huge counter push on the back, but on the other side the legendary Bebe and ninjew card are way too overpowered and hard to counter. And the battle system is completely level based. But overall this game is still fairly new, it have bugs and crashes, but the idea is very original and I can see the developers put a lot of efforts on this free game. So I’m giving this a solid 4 out 5.

Very glitchy
So The game is fun, but there are walls that you will hit if you don’t spend money. On top of that it’s very glitchy when it comes to PVP. Sometimes you’ll be playing and your guy will hit someone and nothing will happen, and inflicting no damage. And then the game is lost. A lot of the PVP matches come down to a single player,And if they aren’t able to attack or their attack doesn’t count, you can turn the tables easily and it happens often in PVP. When it comes to the story mode There are all these walls, you have to spend money in order to get past them, and there is no other way around it. Although the game is fun, it does have its drawbacks due to these issues. I’ve had several updates, but none of these updates seem to solve these issues as far as glitches and walls. I’ve spent some money, about 10 bucks, but these guys are looking for whales. Just so you know. On top of that, if you play too much PVP they will limit you on how many lockers you can open. It appears to be a 18 to 20 hour block to where you cannot access lockers if you play PVP past a certain point of wins. Just another con, I love the game but they’re definitely looking to capitalize on big money spenders.

In desperate need of a tradings system
I have been playing since Superheroes first came out, and I haven’t spent a lot of money on this game and I only use my cash to buy battle passes and occasional cards, but I have to say this game becomes nearly impossible to play without having higher leveled cards. I haven’t had a single Level 2 Legendary, Level 4 Epic, Level 5 Rare, or a Level 6 Common. I’m at Rank 18 because I’ve donated every cards, and I rarely win battles because how awful my low-leveled cards are and how much upgrade items and cash it requires to go even further, even if I open small occasional free packs, it’s never something good. It’s just cards I don’t use and cards that the community knows are terrible, and the only solution to this if the game introduces a card trading system. Donations are too slow to level them up, and packs never give you anything good. I’m tired of having being beaten by people who think they’re better than me because they have a Level 6 Space Warrior Token or a Level 4 Amazingly Randy, and I swear they need to nerf those Canadian fart fetishists Terrance and Phillip— I can't wait until they’re killed off in the show. So yeah, okay game, but it may just be me, but card drops are garbage. I don’t have patience and I’m not spending any money.

Exposed the developers as the cheaters in pvp
I had been playing for a while and realized there were a lot of cheaters on pvp that the developers just happen to overlook and not do anything about. Then I contacted there support number directly no help at all. After a few months I contacted a hacker friend of mine who traced some of the IP addresses of “players” as I pointed them out and to our supprise it came back to a server which address is the exact same address as customer support for this game where the “developers” are suppose to help you. After further digging my account for the game got deleated and then I found what really disturbed me the developers use bots that cheat to get people to pay more money on in app purchases then once you spend enough they disable the bots for a short amount of time. Then when you report the cheaters they blame you and your connection in a fetal attempt to appear to be a free to play game when in reality it attempts to mask that the fact it’s really pay to win altogether do not waste your time and money I assure you I’ve done the reasearch don’t be fooled by these low life’s. They also recently “updated “ the game so card packs and prizes are based on rank which you lose in pvp if you don’t win. They now kick you from matches often blaming your connection so you lose matches again a pathetic attempt to further there cash grab.

An honest review from a long time player
Southpark phone destroyer is an excellent mobile game that delivers the feel of clash of clans with the southpark humor. Casual, it’s an excellent game that has hours of exciting single player levels. Besides pve, the bread and butter of SPPD is its Pvp system, which pins you against multiple players around the region. In addition, each win gives you a star towards your new rank, such as wooden, bronze and silver. Unfortunately, once crossed the threshold into legendary rank, which is seen as a very meta heavy based area, many of the cards you used to climb into legendary becomes non viable with in the meta. Furthermore, the level of cards also plays a large role with in the game, regardless of strategy. Currently, there are four playable themes to choose from. Each has it own unique Strategy for that theme. For a new player that seeks to play in the meta, their best bet is to use adventure with sci-fi or fantasy and avoid playing mystical at all cost, which has been the the weakest theme for many seasons. Update: surprise! mystical got a buff to 4 of their cards, unfortunately, those cards are still bad and is still not worth using. The devs’ hearts were in the right place but buffing card’s hp doesn’t really do much in a fast pace, high damage removal meta. My advice to anyone who’s planing on playing remains the same. Balance doesn’t really exist just as yet.

Grind Grind Grind
Update: there is added complexity to the game once you begin to pile up your cards. There are a lot of things that still don't make sense though; there are multiple currencies that are not interchangeable (but kind of are?), and your experience is controlled. You will be matched with someone near your level for PVP, which means you will win exactly 50% of all games. If you win a few in a row and rank up, you will be put against people with far better cards who put you back down. Quickly you will begin to learn that losing on purpose is a time saver and sure enough, many of the games you play at higher rank will be against an AFK opponent. You will rank up again someone AFK, and then get the crap beat out of you by a higher level player when you rank up on the leaver. I'm bumping this to three stars because the art, sound, and the atmosphere are great. The shops, the currencies, and the pvp itself is trash terrible. -Blake Yerian Original: Once you get past all the fluff involving upgrades and other such nonsense it's just a complicated version of rock paper scissor grind. This game is obviously designed as a competitor to animation throwdown, and offers nothing new to mobile games other than southpark colored lipstick on the same boring old pig.

Negative 5 stars
The developers of the game push for certain cards in the game to be bought in packs , only to nerf those cards (make those cards not as good). The developers leave bugs that effect game play go for months to years at a time, but If the bug effects their income the bug is fixed within the day. The developers and Buck essentially ignore majority of the feedback on their discord unless the whales want something done (players who spent the most money want a change to the game). Buck allows for F2P whales to get away with cheating in game and double standards on the discord where F2P whales can get away with stuff, while others are kicked. If even the slightest bit of criticism is given, the comment is deleted without a reason even given why. Your almost walking on egg shells in regards to giving any feed or talking about huge issues on the game such as hackers and anyone who cheats. They don’t communicate with members of the game/discord community , and often talk in circles like a politician avoiding important questions and topics.

Too Flawed to Invest
Finally leveled up characters (which becomes exponential) to level 5 and New Kid 15 and made legendary league. And just a few days there and I saw what people are talking about. Opponents’ characters will “rubber-band” after you deal a significant blow so that they reset right before your move, they don’t lose their health and they move right back to where they were... while your characters are left damaged. Didn’t see the problem before and then all of a sudden everyone I play is doing it. I have a good connection, so that’s not it, simply happened once i started playing people in legendary. Support said they are aware of the “lag issues” and are trying to fix it, heard from other players that people have learned to exploit it. Support says “use the in-app reporting tool” so I did... and then I get message saying “report limited reached for the day”... too funny, it’s so rampant they have to cap the number of reports they receive. I can’t even report on the actual number of times it happens. Silly. Maybe it is a glitch, but I’ll tell you that it’s never happened the other way around. Too much time grinding invested to put up with this crap, guess I could try and learn what other side app to run to fully exploit the lag but just don’t care enough anymore. Deleting app. Maybe they will get it right one day.

Way too much needs to be fixed.
I originally liked this game and now had to change my review to one star. The initial game play is fun. Then it gets incredibly difficult because the cards you want to level up are somehow so rare that you’ll never find them. Now that you can’t level up your characters, you can’t move on in the game unless you play PvP. This is the absolute worst PvP experience in any game I’ve ever played. I don’t think I have ever experienced once a fair matchup. I got up to level 7 for my character and 21 in PvP. However they would pair me against level 9 and 10 players! I would play and lose 20 matchups in a row because their cards were much more powerful and they would steam roll anything I played. Then comes in the glitches. Many times I would play a card and the character would just stand there doing nothing until my opponents characters killed him. Then halfway through a matchup the opponents characters would freeze and then jump across the playing field and be destroying my character while the others on the field slowly walked over to try and help. On top of that the game has crashed and closed itself a bunch of times. After writing this review I have deleted the game from my phone. I love South Park and I’m a huge fan of the games for my PS4 but this is an atrocity. Do not waste your time.

FANTASTIC Game! But P2W element is extreme
Make no mistake, coming from a lifelong South Park fan, this is an ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE mobile game teeming with nostalgia, plenty to do, and a bit of a learning curve. I've been playing this game for a many months now, haven't spent a single dime and I've enjoyed most of my time on it. However once you get past certain levels and ranks in both PVE & PVP the game becomes extremely Pay 2 Win. More often, You'll be pitted against players who have fully leveled and decked out their cards, who will just walk right over you. Thus making the pvp more stats-based. You get free card packs here and there and a chance to obtain pvp packs every few hours or so, but this proves not to be enough once you're deeper into the game. People who have paid a crapton of money will win regardless simply because their stats are higher than yours in every way possible. Also this game has one of the most unloving money hungry developers I’ve ever come across, they will nerf a whole theme of cards so people would buy other ones. The only things keeping me playing are purely the combat and my guild friends. Pros: Beautiful game Cons:Destroyed by Ubisoft like always.

Addicting but worst pay to play ever
Game is great to play at 1st until the biased PvP. There's no way to level up without paying an ungodly amount of real money. Card draw percentages make it so it'll take you 2-3 months per 1 card level and the worst, by far is NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT or a way of reporting an issue/hacker....they just want you to pay and shut up. This game is a shame to the South Park franchise and South Park studios should be ashamed for teaming with a garbage company like Ubisoft. Money hungry scum made this game. 0 stars but no option. Update: Still no fix on anything. Had a live chat last night in which no real problems were addressed like PvP and hacking. "Developers" just tried to hide everything by giving away free in game cash and items. Game actually froze and crashed multiple times on them and they tried saying it was human error but it obviously wasn't. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY AND FOR YOU TO SHUT UP AND PLAY. Also there's more 1&2 star reviews for this than there is 5 stars. Just goes to show that even the App Store will try to hide the fact that it's a horrible game and just give it max stars so you'll download and pay for an utterly useless app. Don't download if you get mad easily or don't want to be cheated out of your hard earned money. Ubisoft and Redlynx should be ashamed of this. 0 stars if I could give it.

Fun at first, then blah
This is really fun and entertaining at first, then you reach about new kid Level 8 and everything changes. The story is still okay, although your starting deck draw becomes much more important. It’s the PVP that becomes virtually useless. Right around Level 8 you begin to draw pay players/higher-level players at about a 4 to 1 ratio. They will somehow play nearly twice as many cards with no energy boost, their kid will attack 50% more than yours, they can use the card boosts more often, and all of their cards are at least twice as strong as yours (even the same ones). Once you reach Level 8 and go into PVP, you know you’re losing before the match even begins if your opponent is at least the same level. It doesn’t matter what kind of deck you use, how you play, or in-match strategy - you just suddenly can’t compete against 80% of other players. To me, that just kills the entire game. It seems like a recurring theme in most apps with PVP, the matchmaking algorithm is likely oversimplified and doesn’t take enough factors into account to ensure competitive gameplay. A real shame, since this could be a really entertaining app.

First mobile game I have ever liked
Seriously mobile games are always free, but with so many micro-transactions(that are usually necessary to even play or advance in the game) it’s not free and you can’t even sit there n pass the time on most games without having to pay some dumb in game thing with real money or have to come back in 4 hours to play free. This game is fun, keeps my interest and makes me wanna keep leveling up my characters and excited to keep playing. This game has helped me so much with my ADHD, I can always play for a bit whenever I feel like I don’t no what to do and don’t want my kind to wonder off to far.. n it’s funny! Haha the only review I have ever spent the time to write cause this really is the first cell phone game to ever be legit cool to me. Get it and let’s battle. Yours truly- Sloppy Selby Bad this game for close to a year now, still the best free to play game I have ever played! I haven’t paid a dime and I am still progressing regularly and am in a dominate team. This game just got a legit update too! Keep up the good work South Park!

Only play if you’re willing to pay.
Interesting that this game is themed off of South Park considering that they had an episode that was centered on pay to play games (and that Matt Stone and Trey Parker would sign off on this) but here we are. It was because of that reason that I thought this game would be different from the rest in that you could progress at a somewhat even rate if you didn’t want to pay extra or you could take the fast track and drop a few dollars here and there but don’t expect to progress much pass level 7 unless you’re willing to drop money (continuously) to get card packs. It’s starts out like all the rest where you get upgrades at an accelerated rate just enough to hook you in before it quickly dwindles off and the levels become too hard to progress. You have to replay levels to get resources for upgrades but every time you win a level, the next time it gets harder. All that on top of “luck of the draw” system for winning the resources which means that more often than not, you won’t get what you need. The story is true to south park form which is the only reason it gets the stars that it does. To the developer: I understand it’s a free game and you want to make money but there’s no balance.

Pay to win for a mostly single player game
I’ll start off by saying that I do think that during the normal parts of the game are fun. However, the MAJOR problem of the game becomes apparent when you reach the boss fights. Despite the game saying that you’re on the same level as them, they have significantly more health, their cards are so much stronger, and they’re able to summon cards faster than you. So your only options are either to spend hours banging your head against the wall hoping the rng of the summons work in your favor, or spending real money to hope to get better cards. Yes, you can replay past battles, but each time you beat them, they get more difficult, so eventually you’ll be hitting your head on different walls just to try and make your cards stronger. There are free packs you get every 4 hours, but the stuff you get is minimal and isn’t always gonna be what you’re looking for. Now, I usually have no problem with difficult games, as they can be really fun to beat, but there’s a fine line between difficult and unfair, and when a free to play game jacks up the difficulty so high that you feel like you HAVE to pay money when it should only be optional, that’s unfair.

Good game but pay to play and pvp unbalanced
I love South Park and do like the game. It’s sort of like clash royal. Getting cards and upgrading them. But the only thing about this game is the pay wall. The game gets hard. I don’t mind playing a game that requires strategy to win but in this game. It requires strong cards. I hate the fact that in the story mode. The computer is summoning cards you have no way of obtaining unless your willing to pay. And these are good cards with strong effects. I’m stuck on Kyle at lvl 26 because he is OP. Also, after you win you have to select 3 lockers out of many and hope you get at least 1 of the 3 best cards available in the lockers at that time. PVP is just unbalanced, your forced to play pvp to move further in the story mode. I was lvl 2 and played my 2nd match and the opponent I was faced with was just OP all around. He summoned the wolf and none of my cards could beat him. I may delete this app and just play my dragonball z legends. Now that game is epic !!!! Also clash royal did this style of play much better. Only thing with South Park that’s better is the story mode but again, story mode gets hard. Overall a good game but be prepared to pay or do massive grinding.

Ubiscam: Master of the shameless money grab
This game is just another classic example of Ubisoft’s ridiculous greed. This isn’t a freemium a game, it’s a license to steal money from people with nothing better to do. The fact Ubiscam is allowed to use a brand like South Park to rip people off is absolutely horrifying. I dare you to try being a free to play player on this app. You won’t get anywhere. It doesn’t feel right even calling this a game. This “game” is just designed to drain as much money as possible out of every players pocket. The game is riddled with constant promotions trying to get you to buy their garbage micro transactions. Here’s the best part: A single copy of a standard epic card is 400 cash from the store. Essentially, this means Ubiscam values a SINGLE epic card at $5. Beyond disgusting. Keep in mind you need 3 single copies to upgrade a card from level 1 to level 2. That’s around $15 for a base upgrade. People, there’s a reason Ubiscam has such a reputation. This company overvalues and underdesigns all of their games on purpose in order to try and corner their players into making micro transactions. This game is disgusting and so is Ubisoft. Don’t waste your time with it unless you want to play a game that’s designed to frustrate you and get you to pay real money.

Great game, BUT... spend money, a lot, or you will not be able to progress later
I don’t mind spending a little or more money on a good game, and this game is really well designed and fun to play, addictive as heck, but once you get up to the high 40’s in PVP, at least myself, I just can’t advance, there’s so many lower levels that have higher characters and higher levels as well, that have had to have paid their butts off for these High level epic characters... especially these level 11, 12 people with all higher level chars than myself at level 15 and they are very difficult to win against due to their level 3 Epics and more. The go to for these people are nun Randy level 3, pope Timmy to revive him, level 3 program Stan and some others in those themes. Anyway, the game matches you up against these people who have much stronger characters, and you just can’t get passed it, unless you’re ready to sink a LOT of money into buying card packs. I’ve already spent enough on this game that I’m not going to spend up to hundreds more cause the matchmaking blows at high levels. Anyway, fun game till high 40’s, just can’t get to legendary without $$$$$$$$$$$$$. as AWESOM-O says LAME

Good game but needs Tweeks!!! Lol
I’ve been waiting for this game since E3 when it was announced. So I downloaded this game on day 1. I love the cards and how the game interacts with you. I’m just starting the space part and it looks cool already. Overall the game is addictive. Love the game. I’m hoping the game isn’t a one and done thing. Would love to see card expansions. Especially with the history of the show there could be many expansions that could play out. But the game is not without its flaws. Not a fan of the card packs being priced the way they are. I mean the one card pack is 2500 of the paid currency and for $20 you get 2300. Just enough to make have to either buy the next step up or buy an extra pack. The pvp is ok but needs to be fixed. But the big issue I have now is I can’t change my outfit. The free items we got I can’t use. I’m stuck with the smock you get early and cowboy. I can change the colors of the outfit I have on but that is it. Plus, the cowboy hat and smock don’t show up as me having them. Not sure what is going on. Will give it a few days until I contact Ubisoft.

Too many cheaters
Even reddit users admit that roughly 50%-75% of people playing this game at any given time are using the energy bar hack. They also admit that it’s an easy fix on your end to prevent. But you don’t care to fix the cheats or ban accounts using the energy bar hack. Making this game’s pvp experience garbage (which is 95% of the game). I only have a couple lvl 3 cards and one lvl 4 spell card the rest are lvl 2. Why do I always get teamed up against people with all lvl 4+ cards??? Characters that keep coming back to life after you’ve seen it go through the death animation 4 times but they are still able to damage my characters attacking it. Your game is so broken and you don’t even care!!! You remain silent even after so many people have told you and provided proof of the rampant cheating. What do we get in return...silence and nothing. Well I deleted this game after a couple of month playing, not worth investing my time in such a flawed game. If you like cheating then you will love this game, it’s designed for you. How about instead of an automated “we’re sorry your experience was bad” response you tell us how these issues are going to be resolved and when we can expect a patch to fix these issues? Your silence means to us that you don’t care.

good game but could do better
the game is fun and you don’t have to spend money since the in game currency doesn’t do too much. its fun but getting certain upgrade items becomes tedious and getting better versions of characters is slow. PVP has some issues but having to win them to progress through the story is lame. i’d rather play full matches since they are 3 minutes and completing them would be easier than winning then losing and so on. the gameplay is fun and it is relatively free to play with dumping money giving a chance to do better rather than directly do so. combat is smooth but sometimes connectivity becomes a problem in pvp and lag makes hits not hit. the story is nice and the shops are very helpful but small. rotating the store’s stock on a daily basis and charging more per item is slow and discouraging for upgrading your characters rather than rotating on a half day basis with a flat charge of upgrade materials and characters. for launch it has some problems but is really solid for its launch.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!
LET ME PREFACE THIS LONG REVIEW WITH THE FACT THAT I MYSELF AM A CONSISTENT HIGH- RANKED LEGENDARY PLAYER (2000s to 3000s)! I am a legendary player on this game and I’m telling you it’s a waste of time to play this… There are so many cheaters on here that it’s not worth advancing. Let’s be honest, you’re going to have to spend some money on the game to get far into it… And that’s OK if everybody was playing on the same level ground. But that’s not the case. As you advance in the PVP and get to the higher levels and then eventually legendary you will see that there are players that use energy cheats, damage cheats which makes playing the game unfair, frustrating and let’s face it pointless. The worst part about all of this is The developers don’t do anything about it. They tell you to report the players, which I do, and nothing ever seems to transpire from it. I’ve never received any message from the developers saying that they removed this player for cheating or they’ve looked into it at the least… Makes me feel they don’t really care about a fair playing ground and all they want to do is a cash grab. And Ubisoft, Please do not reply with contact us because as difficult as you make it for a player to contact you I’ve already tried this route and nothing has happened.

Fun Game Needs some work
Great game weather you’re a fan of the show or not. Has some strategy and RPG elements that keep it fresh and interesting. There are of course some hackers, they have the energy hack in pvp where they can outnumber you and win easily. I don’t run into very much of that but sometimes. It keeps getting harder as you beat levels. I would like to see some easier levels even as you progress so we can level up the new lower level cards we earn through play(allow us to go back to the earlier versions of levels so we can get the prizes we need). Crashes mostly when I go to edit deck and once on me that cause me to lose my locker prizes. Running iPhone 6s Plus so don’t think it has anything to do with the processor. This game can be rewarding as well as frustrating, but it’s worth it. You don’t have to spend money to enjoy this game, So that’s the best part. As mentioned please give us an option to go back to earlier versions of levels so we can get the loot we need to build our decks. Thanks

Prepare to pay!!! Cash that is...
Read the reviews about hitting “The Wall”, because it exists! Unless you are prepared to pay some heavy cash you will not be able to enjoy the game. The developers were smart to make it relatively easy at first, but eventually in the PvE you face Cartman. You... will... not... beat... him! Seriously, you will not beat him with the cards you earn in the free packs. The PvE world doesn’t give enough coins to level up your cards enough to make a dent, which leaves you with the option of buying a pack with real cash in the hopes of getting a decent card OR quitting the game. Again, the developers were smart to make this the first big lurch... you’ve already invested a lot of time and who hates to lose? Look, I know they aren’t making this game out of the kindness of their hearts for South Park fans. They want money, money is good... I just hate that they are taking advantage of fans. If they would just start out letting it be known that without paying you won’t get far, I wouldn’t be so disappointed in this. Expect to see an automated “We take reviews seriously... blah blah blah” after this. Because, you know, they are too busy raping us instead of addressing any of these things.

Surprisingly fun for free
Knowing South Park I figured this game would be fun. But then I saw that it was free and I figured I wouldn’t like it, due to probably needing to pay in-app purchases in order to really enjoy it. That isn’t the case. I haven’t paid for anything and I’m already a level 7 and have won my fair share of pvp matches. I’ve been able to unlock my share of rare cards without having to pay for anything. Upgrading in the beginning was easy as I earned enough coins to constantly upgrade my deck but now I’m barely earning enough coins to do so. Which I understand, they want you to spend real money in order to do so which I get. They put their time and money into making this game of course they would like for you to make in-app purchases. However, even without being able to upgrade as much as before I’m still winning my share of matches. The single player is long and enjoyable. For a free game this has been surprising. It can get a little repetitive but it’s fun nonetheless.

Things were great until..
The game itself is really fun especially if you’re a huge South Park fan and I really appreciate how you can finish story mode without paying for anything. Everything after is really up to you if you want to get cool stuff but it’s not necessary. The only problem is the bugs at first I thought it was my wifi but a lot of people have complained about audio issues, lags and glitches. It’s gotten to the point where the game won’t even open anymore due to ‘internet issues’ despite my internet working fine with everything else. When the game does work majority of the time pvp battles don’t even count due to the connectivity issues. I know the game doesn’t update anymore but I was hoping it would still be playable since it really is fun Edit: they got it working again which is great!! Unfortunately I do think this will happen again eventually and other players have complained about hackers and I think I’ve come across a few without realizing it so hopefully something can be done about that as well but the game itself is great!

Pay to win/proceed.
The gameplay is fun, and different from other mobile games of this genre. The cards, as well as their art are beautifully crafted. However, once the player reaches stage 25(roughly) it becomes a grind. Grinding is fine, but having to wait 4 hours for a free pack; not getting the card you need makes for a long grind. If waiting bothers you then you can always buy loot boxes.....I mean card packs. This leads me to the pvp. It's fun...until you reach rank 10. At this point it's quite clear that either you spend real money to compete on even ground, or lose horribly every round. Every three wins will unlock a new card pack(4 hour timer), and a new rank. Every loss will push you back one win, and can decrease your rank if you lose three in a row(or less). Much like the early Star Wars Battlefront 2 this game uses a card system to define player experience with cardpacks(loot boxes) giving cards, cash(credits), and upgrading materials. Players with money to spend gain a clear advantage over the competition who spends less to nothing. It's a South Park themed casino that uses the same predatory practices that EA uses. Just like most free to play games this no different. It's pay to win.

Device configuration not support post update
I too have that message, sadly it’s only because of the update, it has caused a lot of iOS users to lose the ability to play the game, if your phone has ever been rooted or jail broken you lose the ability to play the game even if you no longer are rooted or jail broken. A lot of iOS users are also having this issue even without ever being jailbroken. A lot of people including myself believe their needs to be a patch very soon to fix this issue or Ubisoft and all affiliated teams will lose out on hundreds of thousands of dollars, I was greatly enjoying the game myself and can no longer play I’m on an iPhone 6s Plus and running iOS 11. Something. I hate that I can’t play yet my fiancé who has an iPhone 6s can play running the same iOS. This issue needs to be addressed and they need to fix it to where all users who have been playing without cheating can play not just get all ban happy for people who never cheated, they can check server versus phone data to find out who did or didn’t cheat and fix this issue, I know it’s time consuming but Ubisoft and affiliated teams should do this not just for the money they are losing but out of the pure fact that it’s good customer service.

Cool first player, problematic PVP
South Park is great and all, but you gotta force PVP? I remember looking on tumblr someone saying this was a game where you play with the characters and chat with them, kinda. The single player is cool but it's very problematic when you are forced to go into PVP just to continue the story. PVP isn't that fun when you're going against people who are higher level than I am or somehow hacking the game. For example, I went against someone who kept spawning in characters with high energy then spawned more characters. It almost seemed like they had infinite energy. Then I encountered someone who spawned Ike and Ike wouldn't take any damage. I had Mimsy and Cartman attacking Ike and many times Ike fell down to only come right back up. My last example is that when I was fighting someone who was close to death then out of no where Kenny appeared on my screen and it seemed like the game froze but when Kenny disappeared, I went from barely missing 3 bars to one hit and I'm dead. Not sure if the person did that or the game glitched. Other than that, I enjoy single player and I like how easy it is to get coins and in-game money.

I really like this game but it has its problems
First of all I really like this game. Those of you who think you need to spend money on this game aren’t playing it right. Wizard Cartman and Man bear pig are very beatable. That being said. It’s supposed to be double pvp right now and multiple times I’ve won and not received 2 stars. Sometimes I get 1 and I’ve even gotten 0 after a win. I feel like you guys know this but don’t care to fix it bc you want players to have to battle more. The more we play The more we spend kind of thought process. I get it but I’ve worked hard to get to where i am. It’s just frustrating sometimes. Especially when you’re supposed to level up. It has slowly made me want to stop playing. I won’t for now but through time and after it keeps happening I will. I don’t like being cheated. At times i feel like it happens. And I do feel there are hackers that sometimes ruin the fun of this game. I’ve had this game about 1 month and a half and am a 34.

Needs a ton of work
Update: I decide to give this game one more chance, but now the lag one the servers is so bad that at times you’ll kill enemy characters but they’ll immediately respawn because the lag is so bad the game can’t keep track of what’s going on. Other times your characters will just get stuck and do nothing so that they stop moving while others keep going like normal. This makes the pvp aspect of the game impossible to play. Also there is limit on the lockers you can unlock if you win pvp matches. They don’t want you to be able to continue without paying, so they cap what you can receive in a time period. This is simple unethical. This game is fairly fun, but the new pvp tourney is stacked against newer players. This makes it frustrating and the game tries to get you to pay to rejoin the tourney if you go out. It’s a bad system. The previous systems were much better and seemed to pair players more evenly. This new version really pulls the game down and makes interest wane. I’ll probably be moving on from this game if this is the route their taking since it clearly puts an huge emphasis on higher powered decks which would require countless hours of grinding, or their desired effect of paying auto win.

Well...
So I enjoy this game very much, great way to pass the time, but here’s the deal, they ruined the game today. With this new update It has a lot of bugs on it, I can’t win any pvp challenges, gives me a “invalid match” connection error. They changed a few things too like the purify card which now makes it worthless. So I figured I would let Ubisoft know my issue, and to get customer support, now I have to create an account. So I say okay, I’ll just make an account, the website says it’s easy.., well, not so, I go through the steps, and click create... no dice, must pick a different user name, okay change, great, click create .... “account not created” 😑 I exit out of their website. Hopefully they see this, I don’t want to be a pain, but man, this is pretty discouraging to keep playing. This game got me through going through the ER, but maybe it’s time to end. I’d hate to end for I enjoy this game, but if it’s going to not work right and change crucial things, then it’s going downhill.

Love the game, could use some changes
The characters are hilarious and I love all the call backs to the show. At a certain point, you won’t be able to get any further in the main story line, so you’ll have to do a lot of pvp battles to get money/items for upgrades. I love the frequency of events for pvp battles so you can get more stuff for upgrades faster. I didn’t like the way pvp packs are now earned (# of phones destroyed) when it first changed, but it’s grown on me. DEFINITELY not a fan of the challenges. It’s supposed to be an even playing field by making you and your opponent the same level, but after 3 losses you have to pay with the better game currency to try again (the currency you can pay actual money for, or earn tiny amounts of in-game). I’m at a relatively high level (so is my deck), and I won only one of four challenges so I couldn’t get any further without “buying” more chances. Doesn’t exactly seem like a level playing field to me. If the challenges are modified, I’d be more than happy to give this game 5 stars.

Beware! Don’t spend money
Great game. Absolutely fun to play. Absolutely addictive. Love it. But... the game is ruined in that an opponent you fight against in pvp play can abruptly terminate your match by somehow disconnecting your game mid play and you are always the player that automatically takes the lose and lose points towards progression leaving you stalemated. Until the developers fix this problem, it’s *absolutely not worth paying for* anything they offer. It’s like chasing the dragon in “Heroine hero”... you never catch the dragon. So is progressing in this game so long as sore losers can cheat you out of winning and the game developers do nothing about the **Major** problem. It’s been years now and they haven’t solved this issue. Graphics are amazing. Game play is amazing. I believe you will enjoy as I continue to enjoy 2 years playing so far, but please don’t waste any of your real money until they do something about the ***Major pvp problem***. I’m sick and tired of it already, but so long as I spend no more real money I’m ok with continuing to enjoy the game. Do yourself a favor! SPEND NO MONEY, but enjoy it for free.

Game was decent until this newest update.
I’ve had this game since December, there were a few problems here and there but overall I loved it. I love most of the story and, although im not great, the PVP was pretty balanced and extremely fun to play in. Losses always felt fair and wins never came too often but you could always get enough to get the PVP Packs which kept bringing me back. However, the past week or so has been absolutely infuriating trying to play on this wreck of an update. It feels as if the devs took out any semblance of workable servers and fair matchmaking. The new “phones destroyed” pack condition was supposed to help you get packs easier. However you cant do that when every other match disconnects from the server and both sides lose. Or when the enemy player spams assassins and hyperdrive to clear out your health before your units can spawn. This lack of a decent, workable meta makes playing infuriating and resource gathering almost impossible since the most reliable way of getting resources to upgrade cards is by winning a match. Dont get me wrong, i loved this game and want it to succeed. However it’s hard for a pile of garbage to gain popularity.
