Square Go

Love this application for my clients. I’m a licensed esthetician, and the layout is dope. My clients can see all their past visits and rebook easily with no problems. I seen a review with 1 star, stating square is collecting customer info, but ever app is, and about clients being exposed to other artist?! If your not confident in your work and service, I understand why this app would be scary, but it’s not. Clients are mostly loyal and if you’re providing amazing service your reviews will speak for themselves, thank you square, I’ve been using you for over 5 years and exposing other businesses to your services is my fav!!! Keep up the amazing work and upgrades!! We are loving them over here!!

Be sure to research these companies before moving forward. THIS is a 3rd party app and will require you to speak to the scammer, if scammed. Came across a “business” that had 500+ bookings, but required deposits via Apple Pay, CashApp, or cash. Anyone can book for free and not pay the deposit, essentially making the business look more reputable than it is. Only 3 reviews and none of the people left a comment. People can book a service, not attend it, and then leave a fraudulent review to help boost engagement. The scam is the actual deposit, potentially being charged a double deposit through whatever card you have on file.. and then you’re left to dispute with your bank AND the “business”. I’ve found other places on here that are reputable, but please please please be careful !! And only pay deposits using your credit card so these scammers can be properly investigated and reprimanded.

I’m an esthetician and use Square for my salon business. All the positive points others have stated in their reviews are accurate, and I love the app for that. Where the app needs improvement is in the area of confirmations and reminders. I’m signed up for the (paid) square membership that allows you to send appointment reminders and confirmations (in addition to what’s included with the basic/free membership). I’ve found that any guest of mine with the app downloaded, no longer receives their reminders. This app has now lost me several hundred dollars worth of services due to no shows. It doesn’t feel right to apply a cancellation/no show charge to a guest that didn’t receive a reminder (even if it’s their responsibility to keep track of their schedule). I tell them to download SquareGo to make booking easier, which it does, but then they don’t get the reminders they depend on, and then I lose out of the money for that service when they don’t show up. I’ve contacted square customer service about this and all I ever hear is ‘thank you for the feedback, we will pass the information along to our app development team’. I never receive solid information on when a fix is coming or how to avoid the issue. Love the app, but I’m actively telling customers to delete it.

Most barbers don’t have a website to book and they’re occasionally occupied at the moment when you call and the ones that do have a website it’s difficult to navigate or the website may be down. But with this!, it seems that I get a quicker response for my hair cut appointment and it sends a confirmation that my barber accepted it and if I need to reschedule there’s an option for that too! Very quick, easy and time saving!

I’ve worked really hard as a business owner to get customers and provide a living for me and my family. Do not do business with Square. They are pretending to be a booking app but they are now promoting an app to MY CUSTOMERS, that I acquired, and promoting other competing Barber Shops to my customers that are booking directly on my website. I acquired my customers through word of mouth, one of the hardest things to do for a young business owner, just to have Square come in and start promoting the “SQUARE GO” app… an app that is no better than “BOOKSY”. They make you, the business owner believe that they are just here to be a calendar, but in reality they are just using you to steal your customers data and then undermine you as a business owner and promote other businesses to your customers. Trashy way to do business. Do not trust SQUARE.

My hair I love. I love Mrs Angela for her honesty about my hair and having alopecia. My last beautician was doing my hair for years. I trusted her, she never told me about a bald spot in the top of my head. When I noticed it she told me it would grow back. Angela was honest and told me the hair follicles were damaged . She was gentle her timing was perfect and she gave me a beautiful hair style. I already made my next appointment. Thank you so much Mrs Angela (YOU ROCK)🥰

I have forever been looking for a good scalp massage place. I had almost given up when I found this app and voila found myself a good scalp massage place. The UI is very slick and fast. No complaints. Thank you for connecting me to the businesses in my community. I am glad I can support local commerce and also feel rejuvenated at the same time!

I’ve been using the new App and sharing with my clients for a couple of months now. So far I have had no problems with it. Loved how automatically it listed all the businesses I’ve personally interacted with or have made past appts with. My clients are very impressed when I tell them about and compliments how professional this option I offer them is. Love, love, love!

It’s fine I guess, would be much better if there was an easy way to manage the place I visit frequently. Would love to quickly switch between places and see the times they have available. For now it’s a nice simple solution to keep tabs on my upcoming appointments. Also, I’d really like to tip from within the app, I HATE tipping at the register 😖.

From the time you open the door and walk in everyone is so very welcoming and friendly. The Decor and Personalities of the staff really make the Salon pop!!! It’s important that a blow dry hair salon have some type of air quality control vent system. The amount of chemicals that are floating throughout every time I walk in has had me concerned. The girls do a great job, however isn’t it time to take care of your employees as well as customers that come in and out on a weekly basis. Can you imagine, the young ladies working there 12 hour shifts how much contaminants are going into their lungs. I’m very surprised that there isn’t some type of proper venting system installed. This is going to catch up with your company. Thank you please address the issue

As someone who is constantly managing different appointments, I love having all my appointment info in one place! It was really easy to reschedule an appointment I had for a facial at the last minute when I was out and about. Plus, the design is really cute and super simple to use. Highly recommend 👏🏽

The app works great for scheduling at a place you already go to. It is not good for any form of recommendations or searching. Just go to google. I l don’t love how the recommended in my city options aren’t in my city. I also hate how you can’t restrict searches to an area. Too often searching in this app brings up stuff 30 minutes away that I don’t want to see. I hope they can fix this to add basic query functionality to the app

Normally I have to go to my barber’s website to reschedule an appointment. This app allowed me to seamlessly reschedule, while providing me a helpful overview of cost and schedule of the appointment. It also was really nice to see my past appointments in a clean list view 🤙🏽 Using this for all my appointments from here on out

Very simple and easy to book my appointment. I love that it remembers what I schedule from previous time. I love that it allow me to store my credit card information for future use. I especially love that part since I don’t like carrying my credit cards and I don’t like carrying cash.

Best in town and I love her attitude. Keep doing what your doing because your going far. I had to cut all my hair off and start over with her and the products she uses my hair is healthy plus growing crazy. Love everything about the glamorous up to date salon and owner.

I do love the simplicity of the app. One thing I would like to see is the ability for favorites. It can be a bit difficult to rebook with a stylist if you want to choose a different service. Wiuld like to be able to tap on the business right from the home screen and choose my own service.

She is absolutely wonderful. 20/10 recommend. I only really like using her because she knows my hair and what to do with it when I’m ready for a change but don’t know what kind of change. Having too many options stresses me out.

This app is popping up for my clients when there was nothing wrong with the original square app. I don’t care if I am based word of mouth, if I need my clients to know about other peoples services in my area that I trust, I can let them know myself. The information about my business is incorrect and I don’t know how to change it. Whoever has created this app needs to contact me and fix the misinformation because I now have clients contacting me about services that I have not offered in over five years.

It’s certainly more helpful than using Google or Instagram, but since it’s really got just one job, I’m kinda irritated that it flubs on some key aspects: If I tell the app I’m looking for appointments “this week” it still shows people booked through the next week, and I have to keep scrolling for someone who MIGHT have an appt open for the week, which leads to the next issue: To make matters worse, sometimes it will say a booking is open, but then when you try to book for that day/time, you actually can’t book the person for 2 or more days?? Really frustrating and an excessive waste of time, clicks, and energy. Been using for over a year now and waiting patiently to see these issues fixed.

This is such a vast improvement over managing appointments through text message. But the app does not support the new iOS 17 feature of write-only access to calendars. It will only add them to my calendar if I give the app full read/write access to all my calendars, which will never happen.

Making hair appointments are much easier on this Square app. We can see which day and timeframe is available and we’re able to book appointments with a click of a button!

I just booked a haircut in two clicks instead of multiple calls, getting put on hold, and repeating my name for the fifty-thousandth time. Would love to book all appointments this simply.

Hands down the best barber shop I’ve ever been to Oscar is hands down the best barber I’ve ever had cut my hair. I live over a hour away an that still hasn’t stopped me from driving outta my way for a hair cut it’s more then worth it. His place is a whole vibe with great conversations an a chill relaxed comfortable atmosphere.

Previously, I always had to go to my barber’s Instagram Bio to find his Square App link and book through the Square web portal (login included) - I also prefer not to use Instagram. This app makes it easier to book appointments and simplifies the process entirely. It seems they have found their niche by providing categories for other local services as well. This has opened the door to show their users additional local businesses. Very impressive and user friendly. Round of applause for the app and this company’s initiative!

Only thing i’d say i wish it had an option to save the spots u have booked with before so they are easy to find within your profile as in “saved” section maybe?

Overall pretty simple and to the point when using it, but it makes it easy to book appointments and/or contact the person/business.

It’s nice and easy for making appointments and finding service providers. But in order to add appointments to my calendar the app requires “Full Access” to my calendar. “Add Events Only” access should be enough. I’ve searched and cannot find a justification for this. Smells like an over reach for customer data that’s none of their business.

We moved the WI over six years ago and are delighted that we chose Posh as our go-to groomer. Wonderful, committed professionals who deliver outstanding results and friendly, helpful staff. I’d have chosen a 12-star rating if it was available. Highly recommended!

The app is easy to download and connects my past appointments from other squareup appointments flawlessly. Also I can search other services and book them with easy!

App does not allow to add appointments to your calendar unless you give full access. Something I definitely don’t like & which is for sure not necessary for the purpose of this app. Leaves me unfortunately with manual entries. Otherwise the app is good to find & book local services with small business owners.

There has never been a haircut with Dorina that has not gotten rave compliments, not just from my family and friends, but strangers wherever I go. She’s professional, talented, don’t believe there is any style she can’t do. Love my visits with her ❤️

Thuy did my nails and she was so sweet. She did a great job and was extremely patient while we removed my Gel X off my nails. This was my first time coming to the Vienna Salon and she made me feel very comfortable and emitted an aura that was very welcoming. I will definitely be coming back 😁

If I select a time but want to select an option I’d have to go back to a different page then I’ll lose the time slot I previously selected. A time shouldn’t be removed unless an appointment has been verified, not when I’m trying to select options and have to go to a different page.

I enjoy businesses that use Square, but SquareGo makes it even easier. No glitches and very user friendly. Would recommend for any business that cares about their customers!

On Tuesday June 11, I had my first (90 min. ) massage with Jennifer. It was amazing! I felt amazing! She was knowledgeable and encouraging with advice on how to get some relieve. I appreciate it all. This app is very convenient and informative on when my appointment is and what location also the services I have accepted and also definitely easy to use

Jethro is an absolutely amazing person who has been through so much and I am very thankful and grateful for him. He has been so right about everything he has said to me. I thank God to have this man in my life.

On an iPhone at least it doesn’t let you open up the calendar fully. It just shows one week when you try to scroll across it takes you to the next month even though we’re only on the fifth of this month. Super annoying.

Hands down the best.. I love her because she’s so good at what she does, she makes you feel comfortable and the chats are always good! Highly recommend her and will never go to anyone else! Oh and the music is always on point!! 💜💜

Easy, intelligently linked my site for ease. Like my app just wish clients can see the interface w/ big buttons etc. other than that I still can sms to ppl on the go ! Ty😊

Maybe I just haven’t figured it out just yet but I’m having to re-enter all my services again versus it transferring automatically from the current account already in place before using this app. Outside of that, I give the app a 4.2

Diamond is the best, she makes you feel comfortable, and her establishment is very laid back. I would recommend her and her team to anyone who is looking for a place to get their locs or hair styled in a professional atmosphere.

Not sure why the app needs full access to my Apple calendar only to add an appointment to it, and why the "add events only" permission is not enough, but I hope this will be addressed in the upcoming versions. Other than that, it's a nice app.

I definitely do like it .. it helps to be able to look in 1 place and see upcoming appts 👍🏼since several of the professionals that I go to for services use this app!!

Since my first appointment with Jodi, it’s been nothing but love and support. She has definitely helped me through this journey and I will continue to use her services through out the rest of my loc journey.
