Stickies - Sticky notes app

I enjoy the ability to fully customize the notes, but i think it would be even better if I could make the notes themselves transparent. Also, a color wheel to pick our own colors or even just a RBG number option would be amazing! There are other apps that allow transparent sticky notes, and for now thats the app I will use.

Key Features for me: - The fully featured formatting toobar at the bottom of each note (of the few other apps I have tried they had some inconvenient nested menu or shortcuts. this is much better). - Using formatting by typing markdown syntax makes it easy to format/organize as I type (note: the markdown syntax is not displayed. actually is removed) - Actually having an "Application" that I can cmd-tab to as compared to other apps that are background or menu bar (e.g. Quick Note") where I need to map a shortcut for showing hiding. I'm requesting some new small features if I may: - Have a clickable item in note title bar to toggle "float on top i.e. alt-cmd-f" (This is available in many other sticky apps (i.e. Quick Note App) if you need inspiration) - Transparancy (with clickable icon at title bar like Quick Note App) - Default Font? -Allow user to choose to write in plaintext so the markdown syntax is not removed (useful for copy/pasting your markdown notes elsewhere, right?) - Bulk export to Apple Notes app, etc. - Bulk export as markdown? - I'm not sure how this app is implemented but...if each note is a text/html/md file then et us choose file path where they are saved (i.e. I would choose an icloud folder enabling icloud to be a pseudo back-up/syncing service)

bought into the app because of the advertised markdown support. However, this app pretty much misses the point of Markdown: formatting plaintext with symbols, dodging the hassle of clicking through format options. While it does format stickies based on Markdown, it destroys the markdown symbols after the formatting is applied. Effectively, this means the original Markdown is destroyed, making it impossible to copy-and-paste Markdown notes taken in this sticky note app to other applications. Many of the features are nice quality-of-life improvements compared to the stock Stickies app. However, destroying markdown symbol formatting makes using this app for drafting notes, unfortunately, a non-starter for those who would like an option to draft markdown notes.

Not a huge issue but I have a pretty crowded dock. Will there be a way to run this app from the menu bar? Is there another app that lets you run any app from Menu bar? Is there a way to group some of my Dock items? I don't want to remove them from my dock I won't remember what I have. Sorry not your problems I know, im just not great with computers. I like the Notes and the lists. I still can't figure out how to add a screenshot, not that I need to just trying to learn stuff.

I like this app so far, however, I am not a fan of the fonts and would very much like to use the fonts I already have installed on my laptop.

I use the built in stickies app heavily. I feel limited by its ability to have more colors, and limited font usability. I do like that the built in one has good arrangment options, that makes it easy to go through the windows menu item and quickly find my sticky I am looking for, as well as a really good auto-sort to clean up my desktop. I use a LOT of stickies I tried this app at the cost of $2, and while I do like its color options better, A lot better, I am already missing the minimize sticky note, and sorting. I'll use this to supplement the built in app, for when I need more colors, but honestly, if you don't need more than colors, I would save your money and skip this app.

I just found this app, but am already loving it! Such an excellent alternative to the native Apple "Stickies" app. This one is much more user friendly, I love the editing toolbar at the bottom. Simple, easy, and beautiful UI. The only thing its missing is the ability to print a note (or save to PDF).

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. I would rather pay $2 up front for a fully functional app like this one than pay monthly for others.

its great and works really well. already loving the interface of it. one thing is that changing the font and stuff is really annoying because you have to keep highlighting and going over it to change to the font that you want but other than that its great!

So far this is the best desktop stickie app I've downloaded. At least up until my macbook needed to be re-started. All of my notes disappeard! It seems the notes will only stay put if you leave the app running in the backround and the mac is on standby. I hope there is a fix to this because at this point I just wasted $1.99.

This app is great already. I want to pin the sticky note on to my screen.

I used this app for a bit, deleted it and tried to reuse it. The interface wouldn't restore my purchase so I reached out to the developer. He initially responded but then provided no help. So I ended up buying an app I can't use.

The menus dont have support for checkboxes as shown in the pictures.

- it doesn't give you the option to change fonts - there is no check box option - it is literally the worst app I have ever purchased - so disappointed!

This app is not at all intuitive! If one is proficient in HTML or some other coding language, then you can add all the fancy frills. Otherwise, your option is only text - and the only thing you can change with the text is the size and color. NOT AS ADVERTISED!!! This app needs more development and a big update. I wiish I could get my money back.
