Tactacam Reveal

I’ve had trail cams since they first came out with actual film, probably from over 5 different makers. Been waiting to make move to cell for a few years and wanted to wait until someone came out with a reliable easy to use product at a good price. I believe the Tactacam fits the bill. I read dozens of reviews/articles and talked to a few current users before buying the GenX 2.0. One factor in their favor was a family member had a setup issue when she connected a 3rd camera to her plan. She called and actually spoke to an English speaking person who walked her through a solution. From opening the box to taking a test pic took about 30 minutes. Instructions are simple and easy to follow and I’m average with technology. If you use a smart phone it’s simple. The pics are great during day and night. My only concern is the rigid antenna. We have a lot of curious bears in Wisconsin and my cameras are frequently getting knocked around or even ripped off trees. My worry is they will break off antenna and will that ruin camera or will it break off where it screws into camera. Depending on a lot of factors the batteries won’t last as long non cell, but they have solar panel solutions. Make sure you use the correct SD card (doesn’t come with). When my cameras die I will be replacing them with Tactacam cell cameras.

I downloaded this app after buying my first Tactacam Reveal camera as instructed to receive real time pictures from my camera . It was very easy to link the camera to the app and get signed up . Very straight forward and easy to use . Just about every setting available on the camera is able to be controlled from the comfort of home from tour phone with this app ! You can change the amount of pictures , quality of pictures ( on sd card ) and working times of the camera among a plethora of other settings ! You can even suspend your cell cam service and make it work as a regular trail camera after season so you don’t have to go retrieve it if you choose not to . The developer has been very involved in taking feedback from customers and implementing improvements to the app as well as software updates to the camera itself . Overall I would rank it among the tops with other cell cam apps . There are some very good updates in the works I am being told in the future ! Highly recommend the Reveal cameras paired with this Reveal app .. once again Tactacam knocks it outside of the park for the average and serious hunters !

I purchased the Tactacam Reveal X camera after my Snyper Cam quit broadcasting via 3G. I was very happy with that set up, and was hoping for something as good with this camera and app combo. My first big issue is with the quality of the pictures sent to my iPhone and computer. The photos are quite small and you must zoom in to try to see the subject in the picture. Unfortunately, the quality is quite often too low to tell what you are looking at (I have the camera set to the highest quality setting). There’s a cost associated with downloading HD photos through the app, and even those leave a bit to be desired. The second issue I have is the app error message stating that “this camera has no photos” and “this account has no cameras”. This happens on both my iPhone and computer. Even as this message is showing, I still get notifications that I have a new photo. Sometimes it corrects it self quickly; other times it takes quite a while to finally be able to view my photos. I love being able to use the app to change settings from anywhere with my iPhone and have them take affect immediately. Unfortunately the issues that I have are likely related to this app and in order to use the camera for remote viewing, I have to use this app. If this persists, I will not be buying additional Tactacam cameras and will change camera manufacturers for next hunting season. The camera seems to be top-notch, but is mostly useless to me because of the app😣

I’m a newbie to the cell cam game. A couple of my friend was talking up the Tactacam Reveal 2.0 so I had to check them out. Looked up some reviews and seen very little negative talk about them, so I went and bought 2 of them. Got them set up on a Wednesday and put out in the field that following Saturday and the pictures started rolling in! Put them out Oct. 4th and by the 6th one had already stopped working! I started an email chain with customer service. Didn’t really get any where with that so I started looking on FB and found one of their tec guys there and he took charge and got me taken care of. Not really sure as to what was wrong with the new camera but they sent me a brand new one! I’ll still give customer service a 5 star review though. So far tho I love the cameras, pics come in clear and in a timely matter. You’ll hear some folks complain about the battery life of these cameras, so long as you have your setting set right they’ll last a good bit. However I feel like Tactacam could improve on this by a whole lot and it’ll be better on the customer cause we spend a small fortune getting these bought and started up.

I had bought the Wildgame innovations new Insite camera and I could not get it to work at all. I returned it and purchased this camera after reading the reviews for the Tactacam Reveal Cellular Trail camera. My cell phone had 2 bars of service but my Camera had full bars 4G with the nice size antenna they use. I started receiving pictures within a few hours of placing the camera. Pictures were clear, and very nice! I am loving this camera, I am glad the developers are listening to suggestions on the app. I would like to see like a live view option, where we can tap into The camera and just see what’s there sometimes when I think there should be deer there in. It getting a hit. It would be nice to be able to live view it and see what’s sitting there. But great job on this camera, and keep up the good work. I have taken about 30 pictures and battery life is still at 100% on alkaline. You can beat this camera especially for the price if you are on the fence on this camera please take a look at this camera you won’t be disappointed! Thank you Tactacam for making an affordable very good quality trail camera.

After 3 years of using the Reconyx Ultrafire, I heard about the Tactacam Reveal. I was interested because of the cell capabilities and the video function. I had several friends say it would rival the quality of my Reconyx and blow away my bushnells. I run around 20 cameras at a time and thought I would like to try the Reveal and see if it would be a good replacement for the lower quality bushnell cams. I was hoping for quality in between the two cams and was not expecting them to be as good as the Ultrafire. After two days of operation, I was very pleased to see the Reveal was about 90 % as good as the Ultrafire! Almost the same quality pics and video! I was like a little kid waiting to see what would pop up on my phone next! The $100 price, instead of the $600 price of the Ultrafire, makes this a no brainer, I will definitely be replacing several of my cams this season with these new cams and will be giving my best referrals to all of my friends and family! Thank you, Tactacam. Great quality product, just like all of your other cams!

App not user friendly with Apple products, can’t swipe to delete and once deleted the messages you have to close or stays on screen too long. You have to select one pic at a time or all of them to delete, you can’t drag to select multiple. You can’t select a days worth or week or month to delete. Thumbnail size when small you can’t see the badge or animal tag so you have to view in the big size thumbnail. Maybe just a small tag to realize that it’s tagged with a animal type. The time, date, camera name cover part of the pic when it’s on the pic itself, would prefer the option to turn that off. Badges don’t work to tell you how many new pics on the app button. Battery always says 100% if not using AA batteries, even if the solar battery or 12v is dead doesn’t go down this is a huge drawback because it’s dead and you think it will still send pics. I switched to Tactacam from Spypoint (6 cams) and starting to regret my decision. Another loss from spypoint bucks were tagged by the app I didn’t have to do it myself. Grant it, it wasn’t always right but 90% time it tagged the bucks I didn’t have to sift through all the pics on 6 cameras.

I’m a new customer of the Reveal Tactacam service. My investment so far in equipment and services has not been a great customer experience. I’m repeatedly having issues remotely downloading videos from the camera and the customer support team seems to have given up trying to resolve the problem. After paying for the premium package, my expectation was based on Reveals explanation was that the process would be straightforward. However, it’s not a straightforward process to retrieve videos remotely. I get a couple of cryptic messages every time I attempt to download a video that contradicts the package I paid for. The punchline: My customer experience has been a “2 Star” at best. Basically the return on investment isn’t that great or worth the trouble trying get the hardware and software to reliably work as advertised! If I had the chance to do it again I would not buy into Tactacam Reveal! Unfortunately I paid for the annual subscription and the additional monthly download subscription which I will promptly cancel once I post this review. I give up!

Tactacam is adapting to new changes and demands in the outdoor industry in many ways... One of which is using the Tactacam Reveal cell camera used in conjunction with the Reveal by Tactacam app. The Tactacam Reveal cell camera takes high quality images at a very affordable price. Paired with lithium batteries, the camera has a long lasting battery life and consistently sends images directly to your mobile device. The app allows users to adjust camera settings, such as delay, picture frequency, mode type, and many others, without having to disturb your hunting area. Updates to the app are available as well as software updates for the camera. It’s very tough to beat the reliability of the unit, the user-friendliness of the app, and the technical support and customer service provided by the Tactacam team. Although Tactacam has only been in the cell camera business for about a year, their camera and app is top notch and will continue to make advancements in their technology and continue to be a frontrunner in the cell camera industry.

I bought a SPYPOINT camera a little over a week ago and had so many problems with connection, customer service, and operation. Took it back and got the tactacam reveal X with a couple of X pros. The difference between the SPYPOINT app and tactacam app is the reveal app will show you how to setup your camera and how you can improve your pictures and videos on the app. SPYPOINT was a pain to deal with from the activation to the actual setup, made a lot of frustration for something simple. Have yet to put the reveals in the field but just setting the cameras and the app up I’ve gotten multiple photos from the back yard of deer and other creatures that I will not be buying SPYPOINT paperweights again. Thanks to the people at tactacam for having such an amazing product. If you are looking for a products that has no issues or faults like SPYPOINT, the people at tactacam can definitely point you in the right direction.

So I purchased several other cameras and ended up returning them due to the terrible app and not being able to download or get service. On my final attempt at having cameras on my land lease I bought 2 tactacam reveal xb and 1 tactacam reveal. All 3 have been awesome. App was super easy to download and the $5 per month fee per camera was all I was charged. It gives you 250 photos per month. You can see the photos for free but once you tap on them it counts towards the total. So I would screen shot the photos and go to my pictures to zoom in and see if it was something I wanted. At the end of the season I went on the app and selected cancel service and I wasn’t charged again. The also have an unlimited data option for $100 per year per camera. I’m not writing this review to help the Manufacturer I am writing to help the purchaser. Great product and great app !!

I’ve been using trail cameras for several years. With the advent of cellular cameras I have tried several other companies cameras, and while they function as designed. However, I found myself often discouraged at poor battery life, unreliable function, and sub par customer support. I purchased my first of five REVEAL cameras in June 2020. I could not be more pleased with the ease of set up, the quality of the photographs and the intuitive functioning of this app. Using the Tactacam Reveal app and the easy instructions activation of my cameras was a snap. I was able to get up and running in five minutes it took me longer to install the batteries and SD card! As a new camera on the market you would expect that there would be some trials and bugs. But every single camera that I have has worked flawlessly. If I had any questions Tactacam customer service was always there to assist me with anything that I might encounter. They continue to make improvements routinely upgrade the application in listen to customers feedback for improvements in future versions. The only problem that I see with this app and Camera system is there will be point in time with my wife finds out how many I have! I would highly recommend the Tactacam Reveal and this accompanying app when you venture out into the woods for your trail camera needs.

This camera is a awesome camera to have! I have never mad a problem with it and it sends the photos right to my phone as soon as it takes them! I have had some amazing pictures sent to me from my tactic cam reveal camera! And the pictures are very high-quality and you can see them very well! And you can put them basically anywhere and it will work! I have killed some ever big deer with this camera because it shows me where I need to be to get to the deer!!!! And you can use it for every animal I even use it for water fowl! Everyone in my family that hunts uses this camera and they never have any problem with it! So if you are looking for a good camera that works almost anywhere and sends great pictures! Then tactic cam is the camera to use!!! I really hope you enjoy this camera as much as I do!

I have used numerous different types of cameras for all kinds of purposes. I have finally found one that literally fits all of my needs perfectly. I have used them for pre season and during season scouting purposes. I have also started using them for personal security purposes around my home and business. They are very easy to conceal due to the range of capabilities that they provide. Another great feature is that even if they are stolen I can see where they go. Even if they are turned off and then later turned back on it will show me a detailed picture of where they are located. I will always continue to use the reveal brand and cannot wait to see what they come up with in the future.

I have been using these cameras for three years now. I have acquired five of them for multiple properties. With a solar panel equipped, there is no need to mess with them. My first one is still on the tree from three years ago. My only complaint is sometimes I do not need all five active and the app does not give an easy way to temporarily cancel the plan for individual cameras. This does not cause any issue with the function of the cameras. HD photos & video are great quality at a reasonable price if I don’t want to drive 200 mile round-trip to check a SD card. Overall they have been the best and most reliable cell camera that my friends and I have used. If you look into the bad reviews on tacticam products 90% of them are user error and frustration of not knowing how to use them properly. I would recommend Tacticam to anyone looking for a reliable cell camera.

I’ve own a lot of cellular game cameras and there has always been something missing. Either the app interface with the camera etc... Then I tried Tactacam and it’s everything I’ve been wanting . I really like the way you can manage your plan and change it at any time. I also enjoy how I can monitor, update, change settings to my camera with the app all in the palm of my hand while my camera is in the field. The Reveal was extremely easy to set up and to even add another camera. If you are an avid outdoorsman and you rely heavily on game cameras to monitor or scout particular animals, the Reveal is a must have . I will not use another camera, not saying other cameras aren’t good but I’m saying the interface between the Reveal and the Reveal app is undefeated in my book:

Hallelujah we’ve finally gotten an update to this app for push notifications on iOS! “It’s been 84 years” Getting audible notifications is an invaluable tool for so many of us, and with these being some of the best cameras out there not having that feature was just mind boggling. There are still some bugs to work out - there is no badge on the app when a notification comes through, frustrating and annoying when things are on silent on your phone, so that needs to be addressed. And, another competitor can send previews/thumbnail photos with their notifications on the Lock Screen and the Apple Watch, that is a feature that would be incredible here. Especially since that competitor has a far inferior camera product. If I could take the app capabilities of that one, and the camera of this one, it would be the ultimate package!

First off, great product! Works as advertised. However, I do have a request/suggestion. When using the shared camera feature to view cameras from another reveal cam subscribers account, the labels used to identify each camera (by the cameras owner) aren’t visible to the other account holder and user utilizing the shared camera feature. I.E. - If I label camera A “home”, when I view that cameras pictures they are labeled “home” camera. However, when my hunting partner views that same “home” camera on his shared camera feed its now labeled “#1”. Is it possible to change this issue in the app via an update? That would greatly improve its functionality and definitely encourage us “and I’m sure more people” to purchase and share more reveal cameras. Thanks!

I have had several trail cameras over the past years (yes dating back to film trail cameras) and I must say the Tactacam Reveal has been not only the best but the easiest to set up. Pairing my camera to this app was also easier than other I have had. With my experience with this app all the features from deleting multiple pictures at once to viewing each camera individually makes this a 5 star app. Also last thing I will say is the customer support is second to none if you have a recommendation for a change in the app let them know and you just might see it happen!

The notification badge icon on the app doesn’t work and it is toggled to on in app settings and phone settings. The point of a cell cam is to not have to travel to the woods, not being able to view the 24mp pics on the app is a bummer. If I want to see good pictures I’d have to go and retrieve the SD card, the reason why all of us buy cell cams is so we don’t have to travel out into the woods and stink up the area. Also the camera settings in the app where it shows “camera status: last update, battery, signal, memory, temperature” all of it says unknown. If the camera had cell service it should be able to transfer that data to the app. GREAT camera and great features but there are some kinks that need to be worked out and improved upon as mentioned in this review. Can’t wait for a future update to remedy these issues.

The app was not as intuitive as I would have liked, but otherwise it was very useful once I did figure it out. I had a greyed-out option for requesting a photo from the camera, which was greyed out because I didn’t have a good enough plan to have the option. I didn’t know and pushed the button trying to get a forced photo but reached and error message. Part of the error message offered for me to learn more about the higher level plan. I wanted to learn more about it but the app hung up. Tried again, same issue. The only way out of it was to close the app completely then reopen. This is the reason for only 4 stars instead of 5. I’ll update the review once I’ve used the camera, app, and service longer.

Really happy with this product. Get what you pay for . I run tactacam 2xpros . Annual subscription plus on demand $9/month. Love it and do tons of hd and video on demand. Be sure to save to your phone what you want because eventually that SD card gets full and deletes old stuff. Wish there was an answer to that for the new search field by date. Of course I want to see what was there last year and for me there are no pics past 4-6 months. Seems like an incentive to shut down cameras when not hunting season which the company should not want. They should want me with a full subscription and addicted every month of year. I use them for security too and they are great since now can have individual camera alerts

They are great cams, they have a lot of different settings sadly they don't allow you to pause your camera, it would be a very helpful setting to have. Especially if you have certain animals that you are looking for and other animals are showing up and taking away from your monthly amount of photos, If you have the unlimited subscription this isn't an issue but for someone who only gets a set amount of photos a pause button would help manage the amount of photos you get. They do have a timing setting but that doesn't help when you need to pause here and there to let the ratcoons, or other animals you don't want photos of, eat. All in all I would recommend just have a few things I would add/change to make more user friendly.

Camera is fine, but the app and associated features are disappointing. Latest July 2022 update is a failure. Step back in removing identifier of recent photos I’ve had Spypoint for past couple of years, and feel they have it down far better. However, their cameras aren’t quite as reliable. For Tactacam to improve, at a minimum, increase number of times to receive pictures to at least 6, preferably 12. More importantly, deliver pictures in batches rather than sending 50+ individual notifications when pictures are sent in the twice a day mode. Additionally, gallery view of photos would be nice, as well as ability to delete groups of photos, rather than having to delete individually. Also, why not show badge indicating number of new photos? Furthermore, how about species identification??

Really like the camera, it sends better photo quality than all of my spypoints. It has worked flawlessly the past several weeks. The reason I rated it 4 out of 5 stars is because I believe there are a few things in the app itself that would make it so much better. like being able to scroll picture to picture instead of having to go back and click the next picture, and also having the ability to do a selection/select all on deleting pictures rather than having to do each individual picture.

i’ll update the rating if the app starts getting updated. badges should be a simple addition. Banners are a PITA esp when working on something or trying to open a banner from another app when this banner suddenly pops up. A select all deleted function is also great. Sure it’s not needed and it really does nothing but I like to delete all of the photos daily and when they are hitting corn or minerals a lot it’s impossible to keep up with deleting. It’s ashamed a GREAT camera has such a poor app. I’d pay twice as much for the camera if the app was more practical! The only thing Spartan and spypoint does better is the app. I hate to pay 400$ for a camera for the woods but after owning reconyx trail cams i’m spoiled to the best so imo get the app functionality up and tactacam will own the trail cam business. until then they are just blah.

I am retired military/law enforcement. My family and I live far from any public utilities and have a long gated road into our house. I used Tactacam Reveal for work with great success. So much so that when I retired, I purchased my own and now use them for security on our road and property and as game cameras. They are flawlessly dependable and take excellent quality images that allow reading of license plates. I had one issue that I contacted Reveal customer support for and they immediately got back to me by phone, although I had already fixed the issue. Short of it is …excellent product/great company.

I’ve used trail cameras for 15 years and 6 months ago I made the switch to cellular trail cams and I will never go back! I purchased 3 Tactacam Reveals, put them out, and I still haven’t had to physically go to the cameras! The Tactacam Reveal app organizes all of my cameras, makes it simple to add cameras, it’s packed with a lot of very usable features, it’s easy to use, and it allows me to receive photos instantly from my hunting locations to know if game is in the area. Getting the little notification on my phone that I have a picture, makes me feel like a kid on Christmas morning. If you enjoy running trail cameras, you need to check this system out!

I have yet to pull my SD card from the camera to see the quality of pictures to it. I was really pumped after seeing the 5 star ratings online compared to the other cellular cameras and the price for a cellular camera. I gave 2 stars because the price is good and the setup is simple. The reason I can’t give it any better is the poor quality pictures that comes to the app. I have to leave the camera on 8 MP just to have somewhat of a clear photo I can see from my phone. This is the main reason for wanting a cellular camera and to avoid entering the area every time to check the SD card. If the quality of the photo improves coming to the app to where I can actually set the camera to 24 MP I’d give it a 5 star until then this is where I have to leave it.

Tactacam has outdone themselves. Not only very consistently amazing in their customer service but this app is fantastic! Easy to use and share, my dad got excited about hunting again this year because of this camera/app keeping him excited knowing what was walking around(saved several young bucks lives seeing pictures on our phones instead of having to check a card). Thank you Tactacam for an easy to use and navigate app to help me in my scouting efforts! Things like this and your customer service will keep me a customer for life!!!

I purchased for Tatacam, pro cameras. I have been using them on my hunting property. I bought the solar panels with them as well. Everything has been working fine. The set up was easy. The only complaint I have is the base level picture quality. I don’t think you should have to upgrade to get HD pictures and video. I have two other cameras that do not charge for the HD video and HD pictures unlimited. That would be the best thing to take to camp could do to keep business is allow for HD pictures on the base level price of $13 a month for camera. other than that, I really liked the cameras and they were doing well.

I received two XR cameras for my birthday in June. Along with the solar panels. I’ve owned many different brands of trail cameras. As a 64 year old women hunter I was excited to set them up without having to drive a half an hour to my hunting spot to check my cameras. I had no idea I would become addicted to picking up my phone 1st thing every morning to view my thousands of pictures. The photo quality Is great and the pictures of all wild life I’ve gotten to see has been fantastic. I love these cameras. They are affordable as a gift . Wish I could get a few more . What good is a camera that never converts your pics to video… then a 40minute minimum wait to get someone on the phone from customer service…you end having to text on FB messenger.. then come all the excuses that you’re doing wrong .. wrong SD card… weak Signal.. but even when all of these are fixed… now it’s “We’re having APP issues”. Biggest bucks I’ve had all caught on camera and none of them converted to video.. if i wanted just pictures there’s plenty of less expensive cameras with no subscription… but instead i pay hard earned money for their subscription yet they don’t do what you’re paying for them to do.. if this keeps up I will make my own video with their camera and some tanerite… stand by…

I have used cameras for years, and had many years of setting them up hoping to get the right shot,height location and so on. Then waiting months to check! With the ease of use with the tactacam and app I can check my photos location immediately after setting up and start getting pictures instantly! It’s like Christmas morning every time I see the pending photos icon on my phone! From deer hunting to turkeys and even coyotes it has been amazing. Will be getting more no doubt! Ease of use and price can not be beat!!!

I have multiple cameras and have been very happy them(X Pro model) and the app However I would prefer if the work schedule would not reset to 00:00 for stop and start as I turn it off and on. I’d like to set it to off 10am to 6pm. And be able to turn that schedule off and on multiple times without resetting the actual specific times. Just save the numbers 10:00 and 18:00 within the App somewhere even if they can’t be saved in the camera so I can easily turn schedule on and off to my default saved times

The app doesn’t send me notifications when I get pictures (yes I changed the notifications through the app and in the settings). When I swipe down on my notifications screen they will be there. But no badge icon either so if I missed the notifications there’s isn’t anything on the app either. And then when I look at my pictures I can’t swipe left or right to look at the other pictures. I can only look at one at a time. That’s extremely annoying! Also the screen on the camera needs a delay test mode that has like a ten second countdown so you can close the camera and take a picture so you know where the camera is pointing.

The reveal is the 1st cell cam I have ever owned. I bought one that was a bit cheaper and I took it back the next day. I bought this one because I have the Tactacam bone collector stabilizer camera. I had trouble with it in the beginning and they took care of me in end. I have absolutely no regrets with this reveal. I get great pics on a plan that is cheap enough for me to afford. I can barely afford to keep my mother in law alive as it is, so their minimum price range really does save a life. If I could afford it I’d buy many more of these without a second thought.

I called and spoke with Ciera today, the wait was less than 10 seconds and when she answered she was very professional and extremely helpful! I am very impressed so far! I own 6 Tactacam cameras on bows and guns and have been very pleased thus far, I also own 11 SPYPOINT cameras in which I have not been pleased with, their customer service is horrible. I have started using your trail cams now and as far as I can tell I will be purchasing more!! Thank you Ciera for the help and your kindness!! Hey guys Iv been running cameras for years and all types. Iv always leased land in other states and we have been fortunate enough to run cell cameras , I know some guys don’t but weather is a still camera or cell TACATAM IS THE ONLY CAMERA YOU NEED!! The app has never had a glitch and when you request a HD photo or video you will receive within minutes not hours or next day !! The ease of the app along with the setup of these camera are so easy!!! Hands down the best, most affordable and best picture quality!! Matt Babson Whitetail Dreams Outfitters LLC

Everything about the camera and the app working pretty good. Except the deleting and saving of photos. Inevitably you always get a number of photos that are of no interest, but it is way too monotonous to to try to delete the ones u don’t want and keep the ones you do. And then it is way too easy to permanently delete the ones you want to keep. I almost get tired of using app because of the method that is used to delete photos that u don’t want. If I select all then I will lose the photos I want to keep. Has to be a better way???

I really enjoy my Reveal XP. I’ve had it for almost two years. It has taken thousands of photos for me. As with any trail cam there’s a small learning curve to understand how to set it up. But their customer service was awesome. If there’s anything I’d like to see it would be for the camera to have a small telephoto lense that would make the subject of the photo closer. My photos taken from 15 feet away appear as though they’re 25-30 feet or more. Not the actual distance. I’ll be buying another soon. Very good cameras

This app is unmatched, it is super easy to use and is user friendly unlike 2 other cell cams I have which are hard to navigate and difficult to use. I have also not experienced any crashes with the app and have pictures uploaded at the same time every day. Has a camera gallery which I use to store pics from previous years making it easy to see how my deer have grown over the years. Camera takes awesome pics (day & nighttime).

This app is problematic. It's just plain CLUNKY. From the user's perspective, and when it takes a lot of management, an app for a set of cameras is nearly as important as to the user experience as the actual technology which the camera owners deploy in the field. This app gives me the feel that: -- the Company has backed off from investing. Maybe they're coming out with new camera tech, but this app is LONG overdue for an overhaul. -- The app feels outsourced, outdated and out moded. It is super difficult to move around. I wind up closing windows because it's not clear what I need to do to back up and move around... funcions are siloed in odd places. It is NON-intuitive. -- There are times a user might choose or purchase an option which means you're going to wait 24 hours for that to be responsive... which is not... responsive. Taciticam has a huge open door here. If someone made a reasonable line of cameras systems and really gave the App genuine love and investment -- Tacticam would go the way of Blockbuster Video.

I got the chance to purchase and run 4 Tactacam reveals this past deer season and I’m so glad I did! The app was easy to use and made sorting through the pictures and cams quick and efficient. I was able to score some great pics of my bowhunting target buck preseason and luckily was able to take him on opening bow day. The best feature is being able to adjust the settings and timer for each cam from the app. After having spy points for years, this was hands down more user friendly and efficient to use!

The Tactacam Reveal app allows me to see pictures from my Tactacam Reveal as they are taken. I love being notified instantly of action in my hunting spot! The app is incredibly easy to use and intuitive. I can name my cameras, change settings, activate/deactivate all with just a few touches. I can also keep tabs on my cameras battery status and cellular connection. My favorite feature is being able to create albums and organize all of my best photos for easy retrieval later - this way I can keep individual albums of all my bucks!!

This app is amazing AND FREE!?!?! I have been hunting many years. Over those years never have I found a product that is not only affordable but goes above and beyond the expectations i never knew I had for a hunting product. The Tactacam Brand creates products that surpass all expectations you could think of having and from a fairly new company none the less! This App is among their amazing products and sets the industry standard for how an app should function. Allowing users multiple features and the ability to customize and change camera settings, view battery and storage levels, flip through your photos and choose your photo transmission plans that you can adjust to your liking and view photos right on your mobile device as you please or wait for a notification when your camera is triggered by motion.

The reveal x is a great buy! Inexpensive, good pic quality and the monthly fee is very reasonable. However, there are times when they are not sending pics to me. I have them set to immediately take pics and it’s a solid 3 to 5 seconds before you see the red lights flashing in between pics. The reveal app I give a 9 out of 10. It glitches on occasion but works well the vast majority of the time. The app is very close to Browning as far as being user friendly and the Browning cams cost twice as much. So far overall I would purchase again from Tactacam.

Love the cameras and by far better pics than my other cell cams. The new update makes viewing pics so much easier. Tactacam has done a wonderful job. Rated 4 of 5 for one reason and one only, would love to see the App with the ability to send pics at set times. For instance every picture taken, once a day,or even up to 3-4 times a day. Just help me sleep instead of waking up all night for every transmission. These cameras are addicting to us fanatics and can’t help myself but to check. Can’t wait to have 20!

The reveal app and cameras have been hands down the best out of all the cellular cameras and apps I’ve used. The Reveal app is very easy to navigate. It’s simple to adjust all my setting of my camera right from me phone. And the picture quality and ease of navigation between photos is just simply the best. The app and cameras signal strength in areas my other cameras have has week to no signal is far superior than the competitors. Adding cameras or even additional cameras is a breeze as well.

Before update, I would have given 5 stars. Now that videos are in home feed, when you try to delete multiple photos, t You cannot tell which ones are photo and which one is video, and if you select a video it will error and not delete anything. I have multiple cameras so this makes clean up hard. Also, I feel you should be able to delete videos as part of bulk delete too, it only allows videos to be deleted one by one. If that app worked like this when I got first camera, it would have been the last.
