Chess apps are getting to be a highly competitive area for 2012. This app is a very good one, with a doubt. I especially like the glowing green & red effects - they will provide excellent feedback and assistance for beginning players (and other players, who wish to simply enjoy a more casual game). There are other nice qualities to this application that I could mention, but the best way to know what it is like, is to try it out and see. It's only a buck after all!
Excellent, well designed program for me (based on a few hours of use). I especially like the small adjustable increments of configurable computer playing strength. I haven't noticed any bugs (yet). Also, my abilities are somewhat weak so I don't know how strong the program really is.
