Hello, I love your game, it’s beautiful and a refreshing take on Frankenstein. However after the scene where the villagers chase me out of the village the sound of the loading screen comes on but not the symbol, then it kicks me out and I have to start that scene all over again. Can you please explain why this is happening? Thank you. (My IPad is an IPad air if that may have anything to do with it)
Thus far, my experience with The Wanderer has been nothing short of ethereal and magnificent. The characterization of Frankenstein’s creature is just as pure and heartfelt as displayed within the literary classic it hails from. On top of that, the game’s animation and overall design are a treat to witness, and has some of the highest quality I’ve ever seen within App Store. The storytelling and pacing is quick but readily addictive; once I started the story, I was too enthralled able to stop playing until I reached an unfortunate game crash once I reached Victor’s shack after Amphitrite spurned the Wanderer’s feelings. I saw that another player within the reviews experienced the same crash as I did. While we operated on different platforms (they operated from an IPad Pro), I personally operate the game from an IPhone X under iOS 13.3 and experienced the same problem. I hope my software information was also an aid in helping fix this bug. I truly adore your rendition of this classic gothic piece, and firmly believe you do the Creature’s narrative justice with your App. Keep up the good work!
So far the game is very enjoyable. The way the story unfolds is beautifully told. However, in the beginning I was confused on what I needed to do to progress in the story. So a little direction would have been great, I did figure it out in the end. Although through trial and error for about 20 minutes I got the jest of it. I have came across a few glitches in the game some that was not so bad. But near setting out to the end of the world island is when it all the aggravation began. The game would just glitch and kick me out, but was it so bad at the beginning, but every time I got to the Scripturam Chapter and make it into the house and getting ready to click on something it kicks me out of the game and I have to begin the chapter all over. I have gave it over 7 chances and can not progress any further.
The game is beautifully crafted, that being said I’ve had to play a chapter several times (the familia) because it freezes right after winter. the game doesn’t save until you complete the chapter which takes what seems like twenty minutes. This is obviously quite frustrating as I purchased this game. I’m afraid I don’t have the tenacity to complete it after the third time I’ve had to start over so I cannot give the game five stars tho the artists and sound engineers definitely deserve it. If the game was more user friendly and less buggy it would be completely worth paying money for. as for now I’d say wait until the issues are fixed before purchasing.
This game is absolutely beautiful and I am genuinely upset that I cannot continue to play it unless I start over on the same (very long) chapter for the third time. The game keeps glitching out, first in spring when talking to the family, then in winter after chopping wood. The chapters take at least 20 minutes to get through as there are many dialogue lines and animations and tasks for each, and the game does not save until you get through the whole thing. It is too frustrating to sit through everything yet again and I suspect if I did try to do that it would just glitch out on me again. Such a shame I really love the game itself but due to the bugs it was a complete waste of money.
This game is absolutely beautiful and the storyline is interesting, but there are still many bugs that need to be fixed. It is constantly glitching, and a lot of times even crashes. The glitches are fixable by restarting the game, but it doesn’t save automatically so you have to start over whichever part you were on! I am quite annoyed paying for this when I’m unable to even finish the game due to it crashing whenever I try to move on to the next part. Definitely not worth $5.00 if this is happening to everyone.
This is a beautiful game so far. I have gotten to COLLIS. This game focuses on the Creature (who I have chosen to call Wanderer), who searches for a refuge. It could be a bit difficult to play on mobile, but you get the hang of it. When playing, you have to make sure you have finished the chapter (you can tell this when words appear, naming the chapter). If you haven’t finished the chapter, it restarts. Most chapters take 10-30 minutes to finish. I have read other reviews, claiming that they have been stuck in the cottage in the chapter FAMILIA. I report that I have not experienced this, leading me to believe that the developers have fixed it. I would definitely recommend this game if you are prepared to sit and play for half-an-hour, more if you want to play more than one chapter
This game is beautiful, the art, music, and story are wonderful. It is immersive, basically an interactive story but your consequences lead to one of at least 4 endings. It’s very slow, but that is on purpose. It’s meant to set the mood. One hint in a puzzle that is hard, in the lab you should click on words as you are reading the various books, then read Elizabeth’s letter to lead you to the book that is important.
I just downloaded this game and it’s so beautiful and addicting! There’s just one problem, right when I get to the part where I’m in Dr. Frankenstein’s house.. I crash when I go to view whatever is on his desk. Then I have to redo the whole segment and view everything else in the house before I can try to click on it again. My phone can definitely handle the game (it’s an iPhone 11) so I’m not sure why it’s doing this. I can’t progress the story because of it.
First off, this game is visually lovely and the degree of choice is a welcome addition. My only complaint is the crashing: I’ve replayed Homine five times only to have the game crash just as The Wanderer is escaping the village and disappearing into the forest (playing on iOS 12.4.4 on my trusty 6s). Team, you’ve created a surreal, heartfelt gem — please debug it so you can rake in those well-deserved 5 stars!
The whole story is beautifully done. There is nothing hard about this game. Patience and click everything. Playing back through what I missed and changing the course of my decisions. Looking forward to more from this developer! We need more non-linear games like this!!
Game is amazing and beautiful but it kicks me out right after the chapter where the villagers turn on you early in the game. The app is up to date and I am running the newest version of iOS 12 on my 6+. The game says it should work on my phone.
I love this game, the art is beautiful and the story is as magnificent as ever. My only real criticisms are that sometimes it’s hard to know where precisely to move, and that I can’t find the soundtrack anywhere, I really love that and would be willing to purchase it if I could find it somewhere
Beautiful game with a great storyline and controls. But game keeps crashing at the beach cliff house. I have the game installed on iPad w/ everything updated and refreshed...... still after trying everything cannot continue past this point..... please fix.
The artwork is beautiful and the story is great. However, I can’t get past the house on the beach/cabin. The game keeps crashing. It’s seems that a few others are having issues as well, hopefully it’s fixed soon. Would love to finish this game.
Thank you for fixing the issue! This game is beautiful and I love that we can play it over and over again and we can change the path the character takes. Wonderful game!⭐️
I love this game! The only thing is that after I reach the end of Homines the game crashes and I have to restart resulting in me not being able to reach the next scene... could you please fix this?
Wonderful game with beautiful landscapes and moving music. However, game continually freezes at the end of “Familia” chapter. (3 attempts - there isn’t going to be a fourth because to get to that part of the game is quite time consuming). I made sure to have ample space on my phone and restarted it in hopes of fixing this. Nothing worked. Very disappointed as I spent money on this.
I hesitate to even call this a game. It is part game, part interactive story. It is beautifully rendered and utterly moving. Really a masterpiece. I do not understand why it isnt an Apple favorite. I loved every minute.
I love this interactive story, but I can’t get past the part where I look through his lab on the beach before it kicks me out to my home screen every time. Would love to keep reading.
I’m a sucker for misunderstood monsters, so a game featuring Frankenstein’s creature instantly hooked me. Beautiful art and music, with simple gameplay that stays out of the story’s way. Highly recommended.
Beautifully done, amazing music, great story. Bummer part is it locks up in random places and requires you to redo an entire chapter once you restart. Also had many instances of the game slowing to a crawl and also requiring a restart. Incredibly unstable game for being the current #1 in puzzle category.
This game is visually stunning. Its score is breathtaking. But unfortunately I hit a game breaking bug that won’t let me solve the door puzzle in Originem. :( Looking forward to future fixes!
This is such a beautiful game and I was fully immersed but the game keeps shutting down when I reach scripturam stage. Please fix this otherwise I’ll need a refund.
I’ve had to do this three times now on “Familia”. I really like the game so far, but this is ridiculous. It takes 30 min just to get up to the point it freezes. Then have to start it all over.
Unique game undone by freezes. iPad Pro. Latest iOS. Cannot progress past Familia chapter. Freezes at Spring Season. Restarted chapter twice with the same result
