Love Theory though find app hard to navigate and thus hard to shop. Too many pop ups. Tried multiple times to select colors of an item and can’t get it to load. Think the chat function running in background is the issue. Please fix. Tried website and same problems too.
This app doesn’t give you more than the website. No settings, no order history, no personalization: no real value from downloading the app - will not even remember your preferred gender, “Account” is just pushing a credit card you don’t need, and once you’ve struggled with inconsistent navigation and filled your cart, you’ll have to sign in! I still buy the clothes because they’re great, but someone in Marketing should wake up and start worrying about how a subpar online experience rubs off and taints the brand.
In “theory” this is a great concept but in reality it’s not full baked. Annoying things happen like once you’ve selected items and put in the cart, you can’t go back to the last place. So you are constantly re-selecting your criteria. If you’re going to give discounts to promote the app’s debut, it should be ready for its close up.
This app is JUST as AWFUL as their website. Any filters are lost when you click back from browsing a specific item. Changing colors of a product makes the image of the model unviewable so you can’t see the item in the new color without clicking back, finding the item again, and then clicking back in. No Apple Pay on the mobile app unlike their website. I love theory clothes but their digital shopping experience is almost unusable. Please fix!
I’ve never reviewed an app because they are usually passable, but this is just terrible. I’ve tried purchasing a single item via credit card and using different shipping and billing address, but it doesn’t seem to be able to handle that. Seems like a pretty standard use case scenario that it’s struggling with. I am embarrassed for whoever decided it was a good idea to put this app out for consumers to use.
After trying to checkout for a good 7 minutes (which I will never get back), I finally resorted to completing my purchase on my laptop. There was no “submit payment” button—highly frustrating. The website is *slightly* better, but still difficult for some odd reason. I love Theory, but am constantly annoyed by purchasing online from them. :/
filters don’t work, sends you back to home page many times at random, cannot zoom easily to see a product, cannot go back after you look at a product pictures without getting back to top of the search rendered list.
I don’t believe that while technology are so far ahead. The apps performs are so bad. Don’t get me wrong I love the the brand so much. But the apps are so bad to shop. I don’t know know why they fix it. Maybe management don’t care about there on line shoppers otherwise it’s not a big problem to make beautiful nice app.
This app is so buggy! It’s impossible to remove items from my bag or change size or color selections. This is the fourth time I’ve given up on making a purchase given all the headaches I’ve encountered using the app.
Through this app, now everybody knows how Theory doesn’t care about UI/UX on its application. Hard to navigate, wishlists or baskets are never saved even after logging in. Can’t understand how it was developed. I haven’t seen this kind of terrible shopping app ever.
So bad. Glitchy, hard to navigate. Awful. Went to it just now hoping it had improved, ready to spend $$$ but nope. It's impossible to do a simple search for pants based on cut and color. Oh well, guess I'll go to Vince.
Guys - please fix the bugs this app is unusable. Can’t scroll without the app stopping and displaying a loading indicator. What? Why would you ever do that? Load like 50 products, not 4. Clothes are still good though.
If I add something to my cart I can’t remove it. No matter how many times I hit the remove button the item does not disappear. It’s the same with their website. I can’t believe how crappy this app is.
Categories that work on browser fail to work in app so deleted app and, in disgust, canceled purchase started in browser. Incompetence alienates my “spendorphins”
The app has a nice UI but multiple critical buttons weren’t working. I wanted the red cotton tee but the add to cart button wasn’t working. I wasn’t able to enter the code for 15% off either at check out. Most frustrating experience I’ve had in a while.
very bad app experience compared to other clothing brand app, curious about who are the SEs designing the app for Theory behind the scene. I can’t even add item to my basket, the promo code option is also not working.
I literally can’t check out. I can’t remove items from my cart. It continues to put me through a loop where I hit “remove,” the app asks me to confirm, I confirm “yes,” and then nothing happens. The app will not allow me to pay. I added the app promo code and was sent to a page with a bunch of coding. Literally does not work to complete transactions. I could not buy the suiting I need via the app and can’t use the promo code on my laptop.
