Almost great
Decent. Future improvements that could make the app better: sorting shoes by size in a collectors closet, the ability to search by trade you’re looking to make (search for off-white Chicago’s, trading for off-white unc) while still trying to prioritize the other person’s preference to move and if your shoe is on their wishlist, some wishlist bugs show up where when making an offer items not on actually on their wishlist show up as being things they want, keeping trade negotiation history in a separate tab in messages for each collector you’re dealing with to prevent accidentally offering the same trade from the past that either of you has already declined, being able to mark multiple size preferences in your profile and possibly having an icon or indicator of which collectors are trading multiple sizes (currently it’s hard to find which collectors have multiple sizes in case it’s easier to offer them trades for size swaps vs seeing collectors that strictly stick to a certain size), being able to go back to where you were in a collectors long list instead of starting from the top again when you exit out of the collector’s personal photos/description of their shoe, adding a yeezy filter in a collector’s closet, being able to see a collector’s brand preferences (some collectors are strictly jordan collectors, some all Nikes but no adidas, some all shoes but no Yeezys, etc)

Great idea, but it has its problems
As someone who has a loves kicks, I’d rather trade for something I want than get lowballed for trying to sell. For this reason I like the idea of a platform that does just that. The trade block app has a lot of helpful features such as showing which user sees have the shoes you’re looking for, as well as shoes you own that they are interested in. However, it’s not a perfect system. The app crashes or freezes on a regular basis and sometimes notifications don’t go through. Most importantly is the cost. The cost of one trade is $40+ the number of shoes you want to trade. I understand that you have to pay for t way shipping and authentication, but this is more than StockX or Goat. Aside from those problems, I’d suggest downloading if you like trading sneakers

Avoid this app completely, scam in progress
To be honest I liked the app at first and it was a great idea allowing people who simply just want to trade shoes and not have to buy shoes out right from Goat or Stockx. I quickly discovered that you have a better chance of winning shoes off the SNKRS app, getting struck by lightning, or even winning the lottery then to complete a successful trade on this app. This app is solely for resellers, people who own a sneaker store, or for hype-beast who just want to show off their impressive sneaker collection only two entice people to offer them trades and decline them. The owners of the platform recently did a giveaway on IG live last week and they were rewarding the top trader on the platform with a pair of Union 4’s. Only did they know that that the top trader on their platform is my next door neighbor and he bragged that he is best friends with the owners. And when I called them out on it on their IG live they completed sidestepped the question and blocked me. I’m all about supporting new upcoming businesses, but this is not how you operate a successful business. Sooner or later they’re going to have to adopt the Goat and Stockx philosophy and start factoring in tax on top of their outrageous fees. If you read all the way to the bottom I appreciate you spending the time avoid this app at all cost.

Decent
This app has its pro and cons. It’s very nice to have an app that you can trade shoes on and have a authenticity guarantee. Although this app can be very frustrating. It’s full of people who don’t wear their shoes and that just want to make money off of you. It’s possible to find a trade that you want, but it takes time. Also trade fees are usually around $40-$50 so that can get pretty expensive if you’re looking to make multiple trades. I wouldn’t recommend making public offers either. If you’re making a public trade offer and you have a pair of high demand shoes then you’re good because someone will probably accept it fast, but some public trades can sit for weeks, so if you forget you posted it and somebody accepts it 3 weeks later you only have 72 HOURS to ship the shoes or the trade will be cancelled and you will NOT get a refund on the trade fees. So try to make private offers instead of public. They are very strict on the 72 hour shipping which can be very frustrating because if something comes up and for some reason you can’t ship your shoes out during those 72 hours you will LOSE money. If something like that happens just know the customer support on this app is TERRIBLE so don’t expect them to resolve your issues quickly. Thing’s usually go smoothly on the app though but just keep that in consideration if you plan on using this app.

Support that is actually responsive and helpful
I’ve completed a few trades now, so I feel I am qualified to share my experience. My first almost trade I had to cancel because my trading partner sent in shoes labeled as new, that were painfully obviously worn. My first actual trade went well, and I was completely satisfied. My second actual trade, everything passed authentication, but when my shoes were delivered, the soles/insoles were not matching (possibly one fake shoe?). I reached out to support who was extremely prompt and responsive, and after a few back and forth a they asked me to return the shoes to them so could reauthenticate. After a few days they agreed to pay out the market value of the shoes to me. Although sad that the shoes weren’t what I was expected, I am grateful for the support and particularly Beth who assisted me in the support process. I do enjoy the app, they’ve made improvements with the chat/mail feature. I recommend before trading that you request photos of the other persons trade, just to rule out the possibility of not receiving what you expected. Many people on the app don’t have the save definition of new/DS that I do. I will continue to use the app thanks to the confidence instilled by the support team.

Update is trash. Started sending promo emails that I opted out of.
The new update makes the app exponentially more difficult to navigate. I wrote a review previously about the many issues. I believe that review disappeared because I went back to read the reviews and decided to enter another 1 star rating. There are so many things that are now worse with the app that I don’t want to list them out for fear of not including them all. This went from an app that I used EVERYDAY to not at all. The real reason for this re-review is that I opted out of all marketing and promotional emails on the app, yet I have just received a marketing and promotional email from tradeblock anyway. When I try to click the “Preference Center” button at the bottom of said email, it does nothing. I then attempted to sign in via the website and can’t even do that. Tradeblock is basically dead to me until the user interface is fixed or restored. I could go on and on about how dissatisfactory the app has become, but I have already spent more time than I want to doing so. I’m truly disappointed. Prior to the newest update, I spent more time on tradeblock than I did on instagram. That is no longer the case. Again, stop sending me marketing and promotional emails. I only want emails in regards to any business that I decide to do with tradeblock. As of now that is absolutely none. Please respect my privacy at this time.

Bad experience turned good
I made a trade for some old and expensive sneakers. The trader listed them as “new” and Tradeblock authenticated them as new. They were not new. There were signs of wear on the toe box, outsole and insole. I was justifiably upset. Felt like, while the signs of wear were minor, they should have been caught. I emailed Tradeblock immediately. Tradeblock asked for pictures of the wear. I sent them and Tradeblock agreed that the sneakers were indeed used. They offered me $100 and I keep the slightly used sneakers. Or there opinion of the market value of the sneakers. The dollar amount was very generous. But it was about $30 less than the cost of buying the sneakers from a 3rd party authenticator. I emailed a screenshot of the final cost for me to buy the sneakers at the lowest asking price. Tradeblock matched the purchase price, to the cent. Compared to customer service experiences on some of the bigger sneaker apps (stockx, goat) Tradeblock is light years ahead. Special shout out to Joslyn who was the customer service agent that helped me. You’ve earned a loyal customer through, what started out as a bad experience.

Very buggy app, just a bad experience
After completing 6 trades, here’s my 2 star review: 1.) the app itself is not very intuitive and some functions do not work at all (like the block function—still see ppl’s trade requests and messages). 2.) the actual values associated with the sneakers are 30%-200% incorrect based on market (stockX/GOAT) values, furthermore they value USED sneakers as same as DS, which I understand is a difficult problem to overcome, but emboldens aggressive traders into confrontations and turns the whole experience into a toxic mess. 3.) the fees don’t make the trades worth it. A pair of $100 blazers for a pair of $120 dunks seems like a little bit of a win/win come up until you factor in a $40 fee and realize you both lose. 4.) Due to “new” sneakers not requiring photos to upload, the item received could have been tried on or could have had tags removed. Tried selling a “new” pair through stockX and got hit with a huge fee for not being DS, but passed through Tradeblock. 5.) Scroll through the app and you’ll see most users have been bombarded with ridiculous trade requests to the point that they have very firm warnings on their profiles. If you start using this app you’ll get real jaded real fast.

QAQC TEAM SPENDS MORE TIME ON SHOEBOXES THAN THE SHOES - LETS PEOPLE CANCEL TRADES AND KEEP MONEY
Up until now I have had mostly good experience with the app and the people behind it until a recent trade. My shoes were rejected by the QAQC inspection team for shoebox “damage” that was so minor upon looking at the photos that it should not even be classified as such. To make matters worse, even with having several successful trades in the past, and being active user, Tradeblock quickly notified me that they would not be refunding me the trade fee, for the trade that the other user requested in the first place. As if the process didn’t take long enough, now I get nothing out of this and lose money. Awful authentication team that seem to care way too much about shoeboxes and not the actual shoes themselves. Tradeblock doesn’t care about the customers/end users, and will just happily collect peoples money by letting more and more trades get canceled. This is incredibly disappointing and frustrating. Box damage is highly subjective and does not take into account manufacturer or shipment distribution factors. End users/consumers are not at all at fault for the condition of the boxes for the products we receive. Tradeblock, please reach out to me so we can get on the phone and talk about this further.

Best shoe app in the game!
Tradeblock is amazing I have been able to secure shoes via trade that I thought I would never own since the prices are so high but thanks to Tradeblock I can trade shoes I have in my closet with value for the shoes I really want. It’s a fair deal for everyone involved and the process is super simple send the shoes to get authenticated and once they are Tradeblock sends them to you. The fees are fair and not bad at all since the shoes have to be sent with UPS and they will ship them back to you via UPS normally takes about a week for the shoes to arrive if you are responsible and send the shoes to Tradeblock the same day you accept a trade offer. They give you 72 hours to send them that’s plenty of time. Now you can chat with other Tradeblock users and that helps explaining some used shoes since that’s the market where people are a bit afraid to make trades on now you can send them more pics and chat with them and that helps trading used shoes overall I love the app and will keep using it for all my trades!

Tradeblock currently is withholding about $2000 worth of money and product from me.
Completed a trade for a pair of Jordan 4 union in the taupe color way they authenticated both pairs. Then I had traded the unions for a pair of off white 5s and somehow the unions then failed authentication. Tradeblock then stated they would refund me all trade fees (about $100 worth) and supply me a refund of $900 sent to my PayPal account within 3-5 business days. We are on day 6. And I have yet to get any form of communication back from them. And on top of that I have had two trades at there authentication center for an extended period of time and no response from them. I have communicated with other traders and sneaker heads and they disagreed with the amount Tradeblock had determined there worth. Being they are a size 14 and we’re 1/2 on the market. Which at this point I would just like the money refunded finally and some form of communication. In total Tradeblock owes me roughly $1000 in currency and about $1000 worth of product. This is outrageous. And I have reached out numerous times to try and get this solved. (Melissa is the person who was in charge of emailing then basically cut all communication to me) starting to wonder if they are scamming me.

Stay Away (since the new UI update)
People were asking a for a few added features but the devs decided to overhaul the whole app instead. Ever since the whole thing is filled with bugs that 1. Doesn't even let the app load half the time where you just sit on a black screen until you restart it. 2. Doesn't seem to be a way to add pictures anymore to a non defect pair. 3. The app has values they give for all pairs and most of the time they're WAY off or the ranges are pretty huge like $1k-$1.5k and the offers will always take the lowest of the range so the value the app will tell you ends up being nowhere near the actual value. Best thing they could do at this point is just revert back to the old UI because they're losing users FAST. App is becoming dead with more users leaving than ever with the app showing they haven't been online for weeks now. Didn't used to be like that. Also their fees are too much (always been a problem though) you're almost better off just selling your pair on GOAT and buying the pair you actually want with the credit. Much easier process tbh.

Scammed me out of $100 in value and support ignores emails
I like many others love the idea of this app, but after just my second trade I was already screwed over by the company. I paid 45 dollars to Tradeblock to authenticate a trade of one NEW shoe for 2 NEW shoes. When I received the shoes from my trade, I found 2 USED shoes, not the new condition as the other party indicated. Obviously I was upset by this failure in the authentication system, so I contacted Tradeblock in the hopes of finding a resolution as I have lost effectively $100 due to the fees and loss in value. After contacting customer service, they nearly immediately told me to kick rocks and they would not offer any assistance. They own policy states even “tried on” shoes are considered USED, but they failed to agree that shoes that are clearly worn are no longer NEW. Support stopped responding after just a couple emails, and supply’s no way to escalate the issue or contact someone by phone. I will absolutely never use this company again and can almost guarantee that everyone using this app will get screwed over eventually by their service.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP
I traded my metallic purple jordan 1's that i only wore once for some maroon jordan 6's and when i shipped mine out, ups threw away the box and shipped them with the shoe box and when they got to authentication tradeblock sent him a message if he wanted to decline my shoes because the box was damaged and i had already listed it as a damaged box. The guy messages me all made telling me why i would ship them out like that when i didnt. I messaged him back immediatly and told him it was ups. When i get the shoes he traded for mine, the replacement box was in horrible condition but tradeblock never bothered letting me know, and the worst part was that the shoes were PAINTED and scuffed. I would have never accepted them if they were painted and messaged the guy about it but he either blocked me or is ignoring me because it says hes active all this time. Tradeblock hasnt done anything to help me. I want $200 for my shoes or my shoes back. The seller never mentioned that he had painted the shoes and all the photos he posted made them look normal. I sent this man shoes i only wore once for his beaters.

Horrible since the Update!!!
I RARELY and I really mean RARELY, review apps; since the update, this app has been so trash and has frustrated me over time so much so that I just felt I just HAD to review. I wanna preface this by saying I used to love this app because I love sneakers. This app used to be great! It was Straight forward, simple, it just worked!!! Whomever decided to implement these changes, I don’t know what to say to you. It’s extremely buggy! You have to sign in literally every time you get out. The new interface is HORRIBLE! It’s unintuitive, messy, disorganized, and just doesn’t work. People I have been interacting with on the app lately said they’re leaving…like soon - assuming nothing is fixed. Personally, I’m trying to get one of my trades to go through and I am out! Can’t do this anymore. Funny thing is my last trade that I’m currently tryna push through keeps failing! I’ve done everything to push I through; nothing! Updated and added different credit cards, nothing! Updated my profile, still nothing! I’m really giving up at this point.

Prices for shoes haven’t updated
It’s been almost 40 days since a price update. Shoes that have come out since the update still show pre release prices not letting us make trades because the prices before the drops were more than the shoe is worth now. In example, the Chicago air Jordan 1 low golf. It shows on the app the shoe is worth over 300$. It is now worth a little over 200. So when you try to trade for a shoe in even value now, since it shows the pre release price, it won’t even let you ask for the shoe in trade because it is 30% more than the value and the system won’t let you ask for a trade. This needs to be fixed or we will not be able to trade for new shoes that have released but the system shows prices from 38 days ago.

Wonderful customer service
I've been using Tradeblock for a good while now. Nothing crazy, but at this point I think I've completed 8 trades on the app. Recently I had an issue with one of the shoes I received. I contacted customer service and voiced my concerns. Elishia was the rep I dealt with and she was absolutely incredible. If you contact Stock X or GOAT with a problem, you'll almost always get a generic copy and paste response that may or may not even pertain to your issue. Then, the most I've ever seen them do is offer a percentage off your next transaction, if they do anything at all...even if they're in the wrong. Elishia and the Tradeblock team were a breath of fresh air. She listened, understood, asked questions, stayed in constant contact, and did everything possible to make my situation right. I was very happy with the resolution and even happier with the customer support. In our current times, more and more companies don't seem to care about their customers. It's refreshing that a relatively new business is out here trying to do things the right way. I will continue to give Tradeblock my business, and I'd urge anyone else to give them a try.

The best sneaker app on the market.
Hands down the best sneaker app on the market. The community is great and the developers/Tradeblock Team is responsive and actively looking to improve. I joined the app while randomly hearing of the services via social media, solely on the mission to obtain 2 sneakers that I had been searching for. Within the first 2 months of having this app I had secured both those sneakers plus others. Being able to leverage multiple sneakers in one trade is extremely beneficial. There is room for small tweaks and improvements but standing as a new platform I am very impressed by what I’ve seen so far. Excited to see the newly added chat feature within the app and overall looking forward to continued success within the Tradeblock world.

Excellent Costumer Service
I’ve had this app for a little while now but just recently started using it. I wish I had started using it earlier. I recently was able to get one of my grails through a trade and it was so much more worth it than paying full out for it like on other apps. The only thing is I was missing one of the accessories for my shoes and although it had me down customer service definitely came though. Shout out to Beth!! Beth was truly helpful and worked with me to come to a resolution that made me feel the most comfortable. Unlike these other apps customer service on this platform is truly there for you and I’ll definitely keep using the app in the future.

The app is continuing to get better with improvements
I have been on the application and completed over 20 deals and met some great people along the way and obtained some good shoes. The app can be a bit buggy and crash frequently from time to time. Just have to open it back up from scratch. They added the option to include pictures and anytime I have had to contact customer service they respond timely and have been very professional with any issue I’ve had. I have had Joslyn from customer service Help and she’s very polite listens and gives detailed information. Nice to see a company help out the users and be fair a long the way. Would recommend the app to sneaker heads

Solid App
I was happy to hear that someone created a platform that is used to trade instead of buy and sell sneakers. I first downloaded the app a couple months ago and liked the interface and simple navigation. In the time I’ve used the app, the developers have made some updates that make user experience better like highlighting what’s on a wishlist when submitting an offer. A couple gripes are that there should be a minimum requirement for used shoe pictures and an offer history tab between profiles so you aren’t sending the same trades over. Also, I’ve ran into an issue a few times where I have to kill the app when I’m looking at used shoe pictures because the “X” button is not responsive.

WILL NEVER RECOMMEND! STAY AWAY! Sent shoes in for a trade through the app worth $748 by there OWN estimated value brand new. They were worn once with original half box, hang tag, inserts, everything. Shoes were double boxed, stuffed with shipping paper to add a layer of protection and stop the contents from moving while in transit. Between the carrier of tradeblocks choice and Tradeblock the shoes were left in water (it had rained on the days it was in transit) and damaged. Then I was denied the trade due to the carrier or tradeblocks negligence and I was charged fees. After I contacted Tradeblock they said they can file a claim with ups and I had to return the paperwork within 3 days to receive payment, which I did the SAME evening, AND the next evening, AND again on the 3rd day all on the same email thread. Till this day, almost a month later, I have been completely IGNORED and have not received payment for my ruined shoes. Stay clear of this shady business.

Dog AWFUL update !
! PLEASE READ READ READ !Tradeblock took its turning point with the most recent update, app is no longer user friendly or even functional. Everything was fine before and EVERYONE was ok with it considering how many people are complaining now! They keep asking for us to provide extra feedback yet all we ask for is a simple revert to the previous version, they know that’s what we all want and they know they messed up big time, but why won’t they revert? They likely overspent their engineers/developers or they think they’ll build in the future off this update when it’s not happening. It’s all downhill from here especially their revenue. I know a ton of friends that quit. I’ve traded 50+ Pairs in the past year and this is my goodbye once and for all. What once was a legendary trading platform into absolute garbage. Stay away at all costs as this app is no longer functional.

Great customer service
I’ve traded a few times on this app and the experiences have been alright. It just depends on who you’re trading with cuz some ppl have no idea what they’re doing…I had a trade go through but then the dude said he made a mistake and wanted to change the trade. We then decided to do a different trade, but I was wondering if I’d get a refund for the other trade I paid for so I wrote a letter explaining the situation and got a refund shortly after. Joslyn from Tradeblock was a huge help to me and cleared up the confusion and questions. Even tho there may be issues when you trade, Tradeblock has great customer service so issues will get resolved when you let them know. 💯

I’ve had my fair share of issues with Tradeblock. But on more than one of those occasions they’ve taken care of it. Most recently I made a mistake in putting size 8.5 on a shoe when it was actually a size 9. My trade partner declined the trade, and it was understandable. Thus I wasn’t entitled to a refund for the trade fees. Given my history with a few issues and never having a failed trade before on my end, they refunded my fees onto my account. I appreciate it when an exception is made a time or two to display the same loyalty and appreciation we as customers and consumers give.

Overall
To start with shoes take for ever to reach a destination. Their customer service takes way to long to respond. This one time I had shoes at the TB facility and my original trade got canceled, and I already had agreed to trade my shoes with someone else. And Tradeblock wouldn’t just process my shoes for my new trade they really sent my shoes back just for me to ship them back to them. Overall bad service. Something small like that could of been handled differently. Also one of my recent trades the shoes I received were defective, the shoes were DS which I’m cool with but Tradeblock could of notify me by saying “ hey shoes are legit but there’s a quality control problem “ but Tradeblock didn’t see the issue I was seeing. Horrible services. Also $45 for a trade lmaooooooooooo Tradeblock do better. CoolKicks is apparently doing something similar like Tradeblock but better hopefully they launch that soon.

Great customer support
I sent a message to support late at night and Elishia answered me first thing in the morning. My question was simple and could have been answered in a sentence but Elishia went above and beyond to write me a detailed response in a professional manner that also made it seem like she enjoyed helping me. One of my biggest issues with sneaker marketplaces is poor customer service. If Elishia’s customer service is representative of Tradeblock then Tradeblock has customer service down. Elishia made me feel like a valued customer. Trading was also easy and I feel safe. Constant updates to the app have streamlined the process. Highly recommend.

Don’t use em
My first trade went horribly wrong. I traded Yeezy Foams. My size 9 for a size 10. I sent in brand new DS shoes to them. When I got mine they didn’t even have the price tag on em. Which means I can’t sell em as DS on stockX or goat since it’s missing. I emailed em and they did nothing. Literally kept replying. “Our records show that the shoes passed. Which wasn’t my argument. I was arguing that they didn’t come as new. Song ever use Tradeblock again. The guy literally legit checks pairs out of his house. The reason I know is the return address on my package. Not a legitimate company. I’m sure it’s a group of friends running it. Don’t use em. They are not an authority on authenticating or anything else when it comes to shoes. Worst experience ever. I should of just held my DS shoes instead of giving mine up for some that weren’t DS at all. No price tag! How do you authenticate foam runners without the tags lol. Rookies.

Best Sneaker App of 2021
Tradeblock has become my most used app on my phone. In the past two months I completed 30+ trades and all have gone smoothly. This app is truly a gamechanger because it allows the user to use their current sneakers as currency and be able to negotiate and trade that works with both party. The app at times is a bit laggy but the tradeblock team thrives at getting better everyday and seeks out customer feedback every chance they get. Happy to be an early supporter and look forward to future of this great new app. What’s more awesome is tradeblock has given me the opportunity to meet many other people in our sneaker community.

Only place to trade sneakers
This is one of my most used apps, spend a lot of time here. It’s a great network of Sneakerheads, and its more then just business. Lots of great people to talk to about sneakers, regardless of trades. The app provides great information for upcoming releases, a platform for Sneakerheads to connect with each other, and of course a trusted marketplace to trade authentic goods. Happy but disappointed at the same time.
Hello Tradeblock. My name is Emerson Chavez. I been collecting and reselling for over 25 years. I’m very disappointed in a recent transaction that I spend a good amount of equity and did not receive what I was promised from you guys for a dead stock shoe with no flaw. Shoe cam in with defects and signs of wear. If we are paying all these fees for you guys and not staying behind your authenticity then you should not be taking peoples money in consideration. I need a explanation from the authentication department about this matter. I have pictures of the shoe. And also am still waiting for my refunds from a recent cancellation. TradeBlock awesome service and customer support!
I’ve been using TradeBlock for awhile now and I just wanted to say how extremely pleased with their authentication team and most importantly their great customer service! Joslyn who is part of the customer support team at TradeBlock helped me with any issues regarding a trade and she made sure she got all the details down and walked me through each step regarding to solve the issue. She is very kind and sweet! She also replies pretty quickly compared to other apps out there regarding shoes buy/sell/trade. Been here for a year
I loved the idea of Tradeblock so I joined as soon as I heard. I easily was frustrated by some trades I was receiving but that soon disappeared after my first trade. I’ve had trades be pretty equal for the most part and if it went in anyones favor by much it was because I am impatient at times. The cost per trade can be limiting if you are size swapping or trading GR’s but for harder to get sneakers it works very well. They also do periods of time with discounted fees, I suggest taking advantage of those! I just completed my 6th or 7th trade. There’s a flow to it. I’ve met some good people on there and it’s always cool to talk about sneakers with people.

Incredible app for sneaker enthusiasts!
I love this app! Being able to trade sneakers I got for retail whether I don’t want them or they don’t fit for shoes I actually want and struck out on is the best feeling. The interface is great, the process is amazing (authenticity guarantee is so important to me and they do such a good job and communicating during the process. Just a couple weeks ago they reached out to me with a concern about a shoe I had coming asked how I wanted to proceed and then sent the shoes back because I didn’t think they fit the DS standard), and being able to message within the app is revolutionary. Good job Tradeblock!

the new operating system is absolute trash. a complete step back from the OG launch somehow. you cant even click on a couple of things and then move BACK. nope. doesnt exist. literally no back button. you will have to redo ur shoe search/info/pictures/profile search from the beginning. makes you give up on the app completely and go do something else. and if you do stick it out and stay in the app, dont worry it will kick you out on its own every five minutes. the idea of this app is amazing and super useful but the actual app is COMPLETE TRASH... ***edit*** months later after this initial review and wouldnt ya know it, STILL TRASH. cant even scroll for more than a couple of minutes without the app crashing and closing. and also still no functional "back button". what a joke. impossible to enjoy...

Everything Wrong with Sneakers
This app is just frustrating. It’s slow to load any page, there are new versions multiple times a day, and way you search for shoes is nowhere near optimized. They use a third party price tool to give users an idea of the value of a shoe, which is often wrong, and perpetuates a community of low ballers and resellers to have toxic interactions and not trade shoes. On the rare chance you do get a trade (I’ve had one), it takes twice as long as other sneaker apps for you to receive your kicks. Don’t get me started on the fees, which if you trade a single shoe, can be nearly double that of other sneaker apps. It only becomes worthwhile if you trade multiple shoes at once. Overall, this app’s sentiment of community is nice, but everything else (including the community it creates) is garbage.

Promises a lot delivers very little
I didn’t like the app. It doesn’t really have any particularly good features. For example, it doesn’t help you find likely matches based on your wish list and shoes you are offering. When looking for the shoe you want, you’ll get a list of people but in no particular order and there’s no functionality to filter through the options. Some shoes are difficult to find unless you use the actual SKU or style number. I didn’t like the community, difficult to find honest people to trade with. The majority of people I interacted with seemed unreasonable and unwilling to offer fair trades. Reminds me of resellers selling to resellers. Fees are outrageous. This app was frustrating and I deleted after a few weeks. Not for me

Great app with great customer service
Downloaded the app because I love the idea of being able to trade with ppl any and everywhere, without the hassle of selling a shoe and using that money to buy another. When I did my first trade I did run into a bit of a problem with one of the traders, but once I reached out to Tradeblock’s customer service team they were eager to rectify my issue with a resolution that was more than fair. Will definitely be using this app again. Thanks again for the customer service, you really don’t see that too much now a days I really appreciate it.

Game Changer
If I am being honest as someone who is constantly buying and looking for sneakers, this app is a huge game changer in the sneaker world. Ever since I downloaded this app, I cannot get off of it, always active trying to make more trades for grails. The fact that I can trade shoes on this platform instead of paying resale value is HUGE because let’s be honest here, who wants to keep spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars on buying their grails when you can simply trade up for them. This app only has one way to go from here, and that’s UP, it’s only a matter of time!

Good app but customer service is lacking
Good app for sneaker trading and getting to know the sneaker community. Helps me connections and build your collection. My only issue is the customer service aspects of this platform. Very slow response time and the only method of contact is email. No real time chat or phone number for support. Email response is lacking and does not resolve issues timely. Customer service should be their top priority on this type of platform. User interface with the team is crucial. Mostly one way interface between the team and subscribers via social media. Hopefully down the road this improves. Customer support needs to be their top 3 goals.

Tradeblock is the best way to buy sneakers
It doesn’t matter where you live. Big city, small town. You may or may not have access to a sneaker store that’s easy to get to. With Tradeblock you have 24/7 access to shoes. I have had great success finding the shoes that I want. Tradeblock makes it easy to trade, ship the shoes, and give you peace of mind knowing that they have been authenticated. Besides finding shoes with Tradeblock, I have met some really cool people. It’s a great way to communicate with the Sneakerhead community. Great concept, user experience
Love the idea behind this app. Just got my first trade under my belt and will look to use again. User experience could be improved with better search functionality and more intuitive means to find potential trade partners (matching what shoes you have to other users who want that shoe and have a pair you want). One bright spot was the customer service - I ended up needing support on my first trade and reached out to support. Beth from the Tradeblock team was prompt to respond, provided some useful feedback and was able to resolve my issue quickly. On to the next trade!

Started good but ended tragically
My first trade was smooth everything worked out both parties received their shoes but my second trade in April was ALL BAD!! Apparently tradeblock doesn’t insure the shoes when they ship them and we all know UPS has been known for stealing shoes. Long story short tradeblock does not insure your shoes so when UPS didn’t deliver my package which I have undeniable evidence of even though it was marked as delivered all they offered was the $100 that comes mandatory on UPS packages. My trade was valued over $1300 and I only got $100 I’ll NEVER do business with them again and advise anyone who wants to or does to stop. And side note customer service is TRASH I asked for a supervisor 5 total times and was told it won’t change the outcome and now my emails don’t even get responded to.

What a train wreck of an update
Was originally a big fan but my experience has been all down here from there… this app update might be it for me. Their fees are excessive for an trade service that is so imbalanced and inconsistent it’s laughable. The quality control on their authentication is just all over the map and stuff will get denied for no logical reason (but they’ll still charge you for shipping and the service). The app overhaul is a complete miss. Tried fixing things that didn’t need to be fixed… overlooked carrying over so many key functionalities. App crashes any time you try to open messages. Coming from someone who works in tech, It’s really a complete whiff of a launch. Download at your own risk

Avoid app, bad Authentication! AVOID
The authentication in this app is horrible. Do your own research on Reddit/Twitter they use a check check service and often pass fake shoes as real or vice versa. I had my own shoe rejected for being “tried on” when the shoe was DS 100% authentic and never even taken out the box. They even cannot tell what soft leather is and somehow label it a crease - a authenticator that inexperienced must have never even worked with those shoes previously. This app has no business even operating when they can’t authenticate correctly. I had my worries and tried it out anyway only to come away completely disrespected and not had my fees refunded. 500+ sales on other platforms not one order issue. 1 of 1 orders on this platform and a issue - complete scam platform. Great app, even better support
As someone who wears a sz 15, it can be hard to get the shoes I want without having to pay resell prices. Tradeblock has made it easy for me to track down a few of the pairs that got away on release day. There are a few enhancements that can be made to the UI but I am very satisfied with the app. As happy as I am with the app, I am even happier with the level of customer support I received from Beth on the support team. Thanks to an issue at Staples drop off, my shipment was delayed and my trade was canceled. Beth saved the day and my trade.

Great experience all around
Do you value your life and kicks and don’t want to be robbed while trying to do a trade or sell something? Then this app is for you, I’ve always been too nervous to meet irl after tons of people get robbed or even killed for a pair of sneakers. Now you can do it all from the safety of your home and the ups store. I’ve only done one trade on the app but that one trade experience went perfectly. This app is the solution that I’m surprised took this long to be realized, glad the guys behind this project are passionate and love sneakers.

You have all type of sneaker connoisseurs; from sneakerheads, to collectors, traders and some resellers too, so you know you’ll definitely find the pair you’re looking for. Trade with confidence. Staff is very helpful and willing to solve all issues regarding your sneakers. Their communication is Grade A, issues are resolved in a matter of moments. Shipping is probably my only qualm but, aside from that this app is where it’s at. GOATED!!

Useless App…. BETTER OFF ON EBAY/GOAT
***BETTER OFF GOING TO EBAY, GOAT, and selling your shoes and then just buying what you need/want with your funds in good value.*** The folks who made this app did a decent job.. first of its kind. Even used it to do 1-2 size swaps but the FEES are so high it starts to become pointless to do simple size swaps. Now the REAL reason this app is useless is because it’s FILLED with scummy users looking to get EVERYTHING for NOTHING .. folks that want you to trade 600+ worth of shoes in value only to offer up 400 or less worth in value. If it’s not that, it’s tons and tons of folks with a bunch of USED trash nobody wants to trade for. And when you actually trade .. expect that you will trade your well curated and cared for shoes only to get a shoe with defects, a BEAT up box, used shoes that don’t have clear images.. this is a scummy/reseller/hustlers app.. I’ve been well into sneakers since 2002 all over ebay, goat, stockx .. and this is the most useless app I’ve experienced outside of the 2 transactions I made with hefty fees. Update is absolute garbage
The app had its flaws previously, but is MUCH worse w/ this recent update. Every time you try to go back to the previous screen it sends you all the way back to your profile. There’s no logical sequence or flow to find what you’re looking for. Search something simple like ‘Jordan 11’ (it used to bring up all versions of the Jordan 11) and it now brings up Jordan 1’s, 3’s, 4’s, etc. Want to find someone that has the shoes you’re looking for? The app now makes you sift through all of those ppl to see if any of them are also looking for shoes that you have, instead of prioritizing automatically the ones that are looking for shoes you also have. User experience just took a nosedive with this recent update.
