I really enjoyed using the app and the convenience of being able to deposit checks and check my balance but this new update has made it pretty much miserable to even have to open it. The transaction display is lacking and looks like an older version. It kept telling me my deposits could not be processed but then 15 minutes later they were deposited into my account. I’d rather you go back to the old version. I’m not sure what is going on in the new one but it needs some work. With that being said I do enjoy banking with Truliant and their customer service is top notch. This app though... not a good representation on the bank itself.
This app has made my baking with Trulaint so much easier! It has cut down my phone time by 60% and my physical banking time by 30%. With the ATM assistance right on the out side of the building that made baking even easier. And if problem at the ATM’s (I can just walk right in if I need to, if they’re open). Face to face customers service is off the chain at the Prosperity Church Road, Hunterville and Back Creek road locations! I enjoy greeting the people as I walk in, the loan folks and the loan folks on the phone. The are all knowledgeable, friendly and can make things happen for you in most cases. I am so glad that I’m switching all my finances to Truliant over the course of a few years. Gregg M
I have been in contact with the bank for almost a year now regarding a breach of security with this app. When they removed the credit card platform to an independent app information that was not mine was saved as default contact and no matter what I do the program still defaults back to someone else’s information that is not mine. I absolutely loved banking with Truliant until this happened and appalled at the intentional neglect on their behalf to not fix the issue the minute it was recorded .
I’ve been a Truliant Member for 17 years, and this last mobile update is so dumb I’m considering switching banks. I transfer money between accounts CONSTANTLY for various reasons. I have 4 accounts with Truliant, all used for various things. Well, with this last update Truliant have either completely removed the transfer buttons or buried it somewhere in the UI making it impossible to find. Where the transfer button used to be is now a “credit card” and “loans” button. WHY truliant, for the love of god why, are two things I DONT USE part of of the MAIN user interface and not a sub menu? And why do I have to login in via a web browser to transfer money in 2022? PLEASE fix it or I’ll be taking my money elsewhere.
About a year ago, the app broke the ability for Voiceover users to view itemized transactions. last night the service went off-line completely, and I was hoping they would fix this issue. Much to my delight, the transactions are now reading as expected. Thank you and your developers for caring about those with visual impairments.
I love Truliant and how it functions. This app is okay. However, it would be much better if it would stop giving errors and freezing when trying to view your account. Also, when you attempt to deposit a check, it sends an error sometimes there as well. Other than that, pretty decent app and very convenient.
They need to set the voice over settings in the app
I don’t know what Truliant did to the app but it is terrible. My voiceover did not work with the app it would not tell me my transactions to need to fix assessability‘s. I talk to them three times every since I switch to the new iPhone 14 Pro, and when 16 iOS came out the Truliant app just completely broke so they don’t know how to fix it because my assessability did not work with the app and I’m wondering if I should change to another bank and hopefully the app will work because it used to be wonderful and I don’t know what they did but they totally screwed it up
The new update is terrible! It does not separate your transactions by date anymore, making it difficult to clearly see your history. It also has no clear distinction between pending transactions and completed transactions. They are at the top and it does say pending underneath them, but without clear separation, or bare minimum a font of boldness change, one can easily get confused. They had something clear and efficient and threw it all out the window. I almost exclusively bank via the app. I do not want to switch to another credit union, but I might have to if I can’t easily see my banking history.
Truliant’s Tru2Go app is always available. It’s a consistent experience when I log in (Face ID is the best!) to review my account, make transfers and occasionally look at money management. I wish the go to my card feature was better integrated, but I set up a reoccurring payment so that I don’t really need to use it. If I did, I would take off one star. I love Truliant and have been very happy with the app, overall.
I like the app and you can do MOST of what you need to within the app except for one important thing. The information doesnt show up on the External Funds transfer page so it makes it a little difficult to make a payment on my credit line without using a computer. In other words i cant make a payment from a different bank account using my phone. Fix this issue and it would be 5 stars.
The app itself is quite user-friendly with voiceover, but when a ad, or informational banner shows up such as auto loan or home loan offers there is no way to dismiss it as a voiceover user. The app Hass to be completely closed and reopened in order to access account information. Please fix this ASAP!
The app does exactly what it says it does but there does seem to be an issue with the Mobile Check Deposit module. The only way I’ve been able to get it to work is rotate the device several times until it registers that the camera is pointing down at the check. Maybe something related to sensor input?
Aside from giving me free money, I can't think of a way to make this app better. It works smoothly and reliably, has great check deposit (and the money is available in hours!) and they constantly have features I didn't realize like finger print sign in and account overview (without logging in - if you like)
The limit for a check deposit per day is $7500. I thought it was per check. I submitted a $7500 check and it went through. I then submitted a $250 check and it went through. Because the larger one had to be reviewed, it ended up getting kicked out because the system shower I had already deposited $250. There should be error checking to let me know I could not submit the $250 check because I already had $7500 pending. I am an IT person, and that seems like common sense to me.
I like My Tru2Go App because I have access to make transactions, check my balance after every purchase everywhere I am without having to go to the bank. Additionally, if I have a question or concern about my accounts I can call, send email, and set up appointments, which save time and gives me peace of mind also.
I love this app! I love that you can add rewards to your card so you get money back for using at specific retailers, I love the mobile deposit and I love how easy it is to view all accounts from one screen! The bill pay feature also saves me so much time paying bills every month!
I like the app but ever now and then there is problems with the app… I have to go in a couple of times because it saids it does not recognize my information or I information in putted wrong but none of my information had changed
I guess i am used to Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Truliant’s heck deposit rarely completes without a “review”. I don’t get an already if the check was rejected. So i have to carry checks around with me until i remember to check and try again. It usually works the second time around.
Popmoney should be fixed to work like Zelle , every other bank is recognized by ZELLE except for this one. So when there’s an emergency and we need to either send or receive money...through popmoney we must wait 3 days!! While with Zelle which is 100% free to send and receive it’s instantaneous. The convenience of being able to send or receive money through a bank app is essential to satisfaction of the customers.
Everything you need all in one place! Easy to navigate and utilize. Only wish I have is that subscriptions had their own tab. I have a few linked to my account but can only manage them outside of the app.
I recently switched to Truliant from another local credit union (Allegacy). They use the exact same app and have Touch ID enabled to log in to the app. Please add this feature. It makes life so much easier! I don't understand why Truliant disabled it! Touch ID would make this a 5 star app!! Update: they added Touch ID!!
I absolutely love the Truliant app. It affords me the opportunity to bank at anytime of the day! I live nearly 3 hours from the nearest Truliant Bank, as I chose to keep them as my bank when my family moved. This app & shared banking are lifesavers. Thank you Truliant!
I myself are a young adult with a minors account all alone and I am easily able to access my account transfer money With just a few taps Thank you Truliant Bank for making it easy for a Young adult Like me.
I used to love this app until they switched the credit card to a different tab I have been getting an “Internal Error” warning half of the time I try to open it. Not to mention I used to pay off my credit card by just transferring from my debit account and now I have to type in my bank information which makes it irritating. Before this, I’d have given it a 5 star rating.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE TRULIANT!!! I’ve been banking here for about 26 years and I have both personal accounts and business accounts. I’ve done personal loans, car loans, line of credit, etc. I WOULDN’T bank anywhere else! Thanks for your off the charts service Truliant! 👍🏼👍🏼
I really enjoy using the app and have not had any major issues with it. My one request is to have the option to hide other accounts like my savings which I don’t want to see every time I check my checking account. Keep up the good work!
I use to love using this app. Now I can’t use it. I can’t make credit card payments because the screen won’t scroll down for me to hit the payment button. It’s so much more complicated for me to look at my credit card information. I can’t transfer money to pay my credit card like I use to. I’m not sure why I still have the app because it’s much easier and efficient to go online and do everything there.
Unreliable ... you constantly have to pay attention to what you spend Because the amount that you have in you checkings after spend may sometimes be the incorrect amount for a few days and before you know it you’re looking at a over draft Long story short ... if you spend big The majority of the time you won’t see it taken out of your account until 2 to four days
Until October 9, 2017 I was able to see my Truliant Visa card in the app. It suddenly disappeared. I checked the Truliant website and learned that I must now deal with my card using GoToMyCard which is tucked away under the “More” section in the app. I can no longer use the “Transfer” function to pay my credit card.
I would rate this a 5 if there was a feature to temporarily block the card to prevent possible fraud when you are not using the card or attempting to locate the card.
Very frustrating as it tends to freeze up more than it should. I like to use the app to deposit check but with the freezing up it makes it a challenge. I usually have to shut my phone on and off which is really inconvenient and not be required to get the app to work.
Look.... It’s really quite simple. I can move money, check balance and pay bills right from the app. Every account I have @ Truliant is right here at my finger tips! Yep that just happened...
Please add/return feature to see Visa Balance and transfer funds from main account window. Requiring members to Go To My Card, degraded previous great feature. One Window to view and manage all accounts. Why did you think changing, improved members experience? Please respond.
I have been using the Truliant app for years. WHY did the people that run the credit union make it impossible to just transfer money into the credit union VISA account from the credit union checking/savings account? It’s like the VISA account is no longer part of the credit union.
You can never count on this app it’s either not working or they are doing maintenance and they wait till the weekend to do it. The weekend is not the time to be shutting down the app. Come on truliant get it together it’s 2021 and it’s getting ridiculous.
The title of the review says it all. Honest, people of integrity and a great online platform. I’m not kidding when I say there’s not to much else I’d ask of a bank.
Customer service is an oxymoron with Truliant bank. The verbal and written items advise “to make an inquiry. Check your balance. Leave a messaged and will call you back” Bill Campbell
This app hasn’t worked for me in months! It won’t open or even load anymore. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall it several times with no change! I used to love this app don’t know what changed but it is awful now!
Once I found this app I was in love. So easy to keep up with my account since I'm using my phone only. I can see what's going on anytime anywhere love it
Nice app but slow in processing of existing from other bank account to this account. Takes forever to processed and deposited in three to four days later….
The app is easy to use and it is very user friendly but everytime the app goes down it is down for long periods of times and there is never an update on when it will be getting fixed.
