TSD Open Roads

I’ve had the App for a while but due a couple of surgeries I have not been able to travel until this week of September 18th. I used the card for the first time today at a Love’s in Memphis, Texas. Usually the process was to take a SWAG of how much diesel I needed as well as DEF then go inside the store wait in line which some time took a while, when your turn came then tell the clerk what your SWAGs was, she would do the math and you would pay her the aggregate of your totals then go back out to the pump and hope your SWAG was close. Sometimes it was and sometimes it wasn’t. Today, I inserted my OPEN ROADS card when through the checklist pumped the diesel until my tanks were full then move to the DEF and fill it as well. I did not have to wait in line all I needed was an open pump and all went fast and easy, why I hadn’t looked at getting a fuel card before was just fighting new technology. They will keep and accounting of how much diesel and Def I buy in one month and I can see every fill and what it costs on my app. I can print all the receipts at my leisure. It’s the only way to go. I’m giving it a 4 star because it’s easy to operate and the accounting page is in real time. The accounting page identifies the true cost of the fill up to include breaking out the fees. The 159 mile radius took getting used to, but with a little effort I can duplicate the routing in the EFS app. But I’m still glad for that function in the EFS app. Maybe a future update this function can be included along with the 150 radius. What either isn’t working or the developer decided not to make fully functional is the directions. Selecting direction will bring up the Apple Map and the directions will start at the point you are at, but will not update as you move along. Not much use. Overall the app is good. I have IOS 14.0.1

I am not sure what all the previous complaints are for. It was easy to sign up and add card if you just followed directions. Go to the sign up first before trying to login. Enter your email and create an 8 digit password with 1 capital letter small letters and 1 number. Remember both the email and password is case sensitive. Then hit enter (If you can’t figure out how to minimize your keyboard and hit submit ). Fill out your profile then add your card by inputting all the numbers top and bottom and the 4 digit pin you created when you first got the card. This is different than the control number. Remember when logging back in use your email and new password (case sensitive on both). Yes the routing function is not yet working but it can move the map hit the magnifying glass and see all stores along my route. I talked to programmer and the route function will be in future releases. I love the new information and receipt. Thanks TSD.

It is without one of the best things that we have ever done. For years I pulled a fifth wheel that was 43 feet long and a Dooley diesel. I couldn’t pull into just any place and get fuel. So I had to go where the truckers went. Well! You can’t use just a regular credit card or debit card and those lanes. They will take it if you ho inside and leave it with them, but they immediately pull money out of your account. Then when you’re done they give you a receipt. And then soon afterwards, you get your money back. But this card has made our life so much more manageable. We pull in we stick it in. We put our numbers in. We put the fuel we need. We drive off. Or we pull up where the truckers do. We go inside and we get what we need. We get back on the road. which is utterly amazing. What a great concept. What a wonderful company to do such a thing for everybody.

One of the best programs I have ever enrolled in. Saved over $100 on my last trip. Could have saved more but missed a few good TA stops and had to use Loves. Loves, at least right now, doesn’t have nearly the discount of others. No complaints thus far. Only feature I could suggest is offering a filter to remove companies from the map view. For me I knew I want to us TA on my trip and it would have been easier to use if the others were not displayed. Some areas have so many stations on the map you loose your own location in the map view! Thank you for being there for us 8mpg Diesel Pusher coach drivers.

My wife and I started living, traveling full-time in June of 2021. We began using our Open Roads Fuel Card immediately in July. We towed a U-Haul to Wyoming from PA and saved $20-$30 per stop. The same on the return trip. We travelled to North Carolina and Florida pulling a 42 foot fifth wheel and trailer using the card. As fuel prices have risen we’ve been able to curb some of the financial loss with Open Roads. This year, back to PA, back out to Wyoming, down to Texas and across to Florida again. Open Roads Card continues to work almost everywhere we go. More contracts in PA would be nice to offset the high gas taxes our state charges but overall I rate this program a 6 out of 5!

It has been amazing the amount I have saved using TSD for diesel fuel purchases over the last couple of years. Savings range from $.15 a gallon to exceeding $1.00 a gallon. The updated iPhone app works really well except for the navigation feature to a selected truckstop. The map portion seems to work well, however the top portion that shows your progress freezes and won’t update on my iPhone 13. that is the only reason for four stars rather than five. This was mentioned to the representative from TSD at the FMCA Perry rally recently. I sure hope you can get this fixed.

We have used the Open Roads EFS card since April 2021 and could not be happier with our fuel savings on diesel full. We travel approximately 10,000 miles a year and this summer we’ve saved nearly $476 and we still have 3 weeks traveling to go before getting home to Fl. You almost never have to go inside and our e voice shows up on the Open Roads app within hours of fueling up. New fuel stops have been added for different parts of the country so you can easily use the app to plan ahead. Highly recommend!

I lost my card a little over a year ago and obtained a new one. I finally looked through the different app features and realized my old card was still linked. I called customer service and my new card was linked instantly while removing the old one. Looking through the options on the card I can now see my purchase details and if I click on list view when searching for a fuel station it lists them starting with the closest. The discounts are awesome and now I am loving the app as well!

We have a 40 foot RV diesel and have crisscrossed the US over the past four years using the TSD fuel program card. We cannot believe. How much money we have saved on every fill up. We are traveling in Canada now and the old saying ‘you don’t miss something until it is gone’ is hitting home. The card does not offer discounts in Canada but we will be crossing back into the US through Maine in a couple of weeks and will pick up on the fuel discounts once again. Thank you again for an easy way to save a lot of money.

The app is pretty solid. Would like to see some improvements. On the search along route, you should be presented with “current location” as a starting point using your geo location. Would also recommend improving the options for using other map programs once you find a station instead of just Apple Maps.

So I have had several trucks and a few years ago I went to diesel and away from gas and this card saves me a lot of money. We just came back from a 2 week vacation and put on 3500 plus miles. This card saved me almost 300 dollars on fuel with that we were able to do more tourist like things. I highly recommend it to everyone who will listen and I show people my savings all the time. I have been using Open Roads app for fuel savings for our RV trips. The savings have ranged from $0.30 to $0.90 per gallon. I have not found any other app or program that provides for that amount of savings. A statement will be sent by email that will show you the amount that of savings. Even though you use the card at the pump it will still show normal price but when you receive your invoice it shows you what the price is per gallon plus the total savings. Highly recommend!

This has been a Great App for us. The discounts are often better than Costco for fuel and no drama trying to maneuver into a crowded station with our ShowHauler motorhome. Plus the time savings of using hi-flow pumps! You also do the whole transaction at the pump and only need to see the cashier if you want a receipt but you receive an email statement for each transaction with a detailed explanation of your purchase discount. I just take a pic of the pump readings to double check the email invoice.

This is a must have app if you drive diesel, motorhomes or diesel trucks, pulling travel, trailers or fifth wheels. No more going inside to have them turn on the professional pumps for you. Everything is done right at the pump! I used it on a recent trip, and it worked flawlessly. The discounts are nice as well. But I also like about it, is the settlement report you get the next day tells you exactly where, when how much fuel you purchased and the price you purchased it for.

If you have anything bigger than a pick up truck, you will love this program stopping at truckstops across America. Even though you might find a cheaper price using a different program, it’s not acceptable for bigger rigs or trucks with larger fuel tanks so this program is fantastic. even off the highways there are fuel stops like Casey’s that cater to this program. numerous times I’ve saved over a dollar a gallon with Open Roads. I wonder if we can use this on the Alcan highway heading to Alaska? ;-)

So far it has been a great experience. I have only had to fill up a couple time so far but amazing with the savings. Even with fees it is hands down the least expensive way to fuel your vehicle. If you own a diesel I highly recommend getting setup for a card and using the app. Don’t even need a receipt as it loads everything into the app fairly quick and shows what your total cost was. Just wish I found this service a long time ago.

We are full time RVers and the TSD card has been a big help. So much easier to go through the truck lanes and the savings have really been good. Anywhere from .35 to well over a dollar a gallon savings. Adding Speedway locations has been a big plus for us. The settlement sheet we get the next day by email is a little confusing but once you get the hang of it you can easily see your savings. Think we will get the Toll Pass too to make things easier too.

I want to thank everyone associated with the Open Roads APP and TDS. I have been a user of this card going on 5 years. Through out the trips we have taken, we have saved a bundle. Money not spent on fuel means a better lifestyle elsewhere. Also, the benefit of being able to use the truck stops for easier in and outs are a plus all by itself. No program is perfect but if you do encounter a problem don’t just absorb it, report it. TDS is easy to work with.

We have used this card for a couple of years. Last trip we saved about 500 bucks. Was a good deal, but did not need the card for several months as we were not traveling. Tried to use the card on the next trip, and it was declined. Called the number on the card and within 4 minutes we were up and running again. This stop we saved $1.50 a gallon. Why didn’t we look into this sooner!!!

It’s very easy to use. Find a truck stop in the app, fill up in truck lane using the TSD card , get a receipt in the app shows the discount and all info on the transaction. I save between $15 to $75 depending on where and how many gallons I need. You never need to go into the store if they have electronic pumps that have cc readers (a few older stations do not…but they also have the largest discounts). App even lets you route and find stations along the way.

Really like the convenience of fueling at truck stops and the savings I’ve experienced for the last 5 years using this discount card has been substantial. Initially, I was concerned about having my bank account open for the debits but there’s never been any problems. I did set up a special bank account with a “no over-draft” feature and only use it for fuel debits. Thanks to management for allowing us RVers to use your discount program!

I’m very pleased with the convenience this app affords me. Being handicapped has made fueling hard for me holding the DEF bottles. This app allows me to fill in truck stops with DEF at the pump and the discount prices listed are accurate. You will be charged full price at the pump but the discount will be applied upon deducting from your account. Very few things these days live up to expectations, the app on your phone and the accompanying fuel card deliver on all promises. Matt Hamilton, Ohio

We have been traveling with our TSD Card for almost two years now and it has saved us a lot of money. The convenience of using the the high volume truck pumps can not be understated. This program makes it so simple and fast to refuel. The truck stops in particular make maneuvering our Class A and tow vehicle safe and easy. I highly recommend this program.

You can save $$$ with this easy to use app and card system. More importantly while driving your RV you’ll have safe and manageable locations to fill up. At times I can finder cheaper fuel but those stations won’t accommodate large rigs. Today I can fuel outside Seattle in North Bend at over $1 gallon savings when compared to commercial stations on gas buddy. That adds up quick! Open Roads for the win!

We love the open roads RV fuel savings card. It is easy to use and we average more than $14 savings on each fill up. The fuel map on the app makes it easy to plan your fuel stops based on the best price. The amount drafted out of our bank account has always matched the price we expected to be charged. Thank you and please keep adding fuel stations the more options we have the better!!

We have been using the TSD card and Open Road app for around 3 years. We only travel 3-6 times a year camping and have always been able to get a cheaper price on fuel when we travel. We just purchased a diesel truck and will be filling it up locally at a truck stop because we get a better price. Thank you for working hard to save us money! William

Opens Roads has been extremely helpful. We have saved a ton of money using this app. The card and customer service is outstanding. We have saved more than .50/gallon in some places. There are so many choices all across the United States. We travel in with our 5th wheel and it is the smartest thing we could have done.

We are full-timing in a 43’ fifth wheel/1-ton dually. Truck stops are pretty much the only option for fueling when we are towing. This discount program generally brings the higher truck stop prices down to a competitive level with local stations where we don’t fit. Two years and this card works just fine!!

Had this card for a few years now and it has been awesome. Having a graphic display of fueling options and up to date prices is reassuring. I was recently evacuated for Hurricane Helene and checked my route for lowest price. My usual got to was 50¢ a gallon higher than one within my range and on the route. Anyway, love the App and the Referral program too.

I am a full time RVer, I spend the winter, September to April boondocking in the desert in western Arizona, so I don’t use much fuel during that time. The rest of the year I travel quite a bit and driven more than 4200 miles this last month. I appreciate the convenience of this app and the savings I enjoy as a result of using it. I have been utilizing the Open Roads app and the EFS card to fuel at truck stops across the United States for several years. It is easy to use and if I have a question…I call them. They answer the phone in real time. No waiting for Monday or 48 hours. Great savings on diesel and faster fills at truck stops. I rate them 5 stars because I think they are the best.

I have a security request to improve this app. Please update the app to allow the fuel card to be deactivated and reactivated by the user. Maybe a slider button. I believe this would help prevent unauthorized use (pump skimmer) and save TSD from unauthorized charges if card gets in wrong hands. This option is already available on credit cards and bank ATM cards. Great feature to add. Thanks

I had some questions with regard to my account and about future plans for Open Roads. Customer service rep Kaydee Baumgartner was prompt with all my answers to all my questions. Thank you so much for your follow through. Open Roads is a game changer for us. The program has allowed us to continue to travel & explore the continuous 48 states.

Used to be great, the app would reflect accurate pump price and it was always lower then “normal stations”, but after they were bought or changed name or whatever, the pump price is no longer accurately reflected in the app, this is a huge issue since you can find fuel cheaper with points/rewards or whatever with other companies. If they can fix the app price difference from actual charged price, would easily be a 5 star

The best part of the TSD program and app is ease of use. Pick the location on the App and navigate to the stop. Use card right at Truck isle without having to go into the truck stop or make multiple trips inside. This almost secondary to the discounts. I save at least 100 bucks every long trip over regular truck stop prices.

Registering, signing up and getting on the Road with the card was a Breeze.. Fast, courteous and to the point…Great People! And opportunity to save some traveling. What an improvement in fueling…no rude auto drivers at the pump, less congestion and after the first time use so easy. Dramatically improved the RV experience. The support is super and Tera was so very helpful and nice.

We are so thankful we got the Open Road card. It has saved us lots of money. In the last week since leaving Southern California on 6/2/23 we have saved over 150$ just at three gas stops in AZ, NM, and OK. The app is so easy to use to find gas stations. Highly recommend this card to anyone traveling with a diesel vehicle.

Been traveling for 10 years in our MH. Being able to get fuel at tractor fill stations is a huge positive. Being some 55 feet it is nice not having to use the car lanes. I also love the large nozzles. 100 gallons fills quickly. Great program! Don’t even care if there is or is not a gallon discount. Just love the convenience. Thank you TSD.

We recently purchased an RV that does not fit in most gas stations. It has been so nice to go to the commercial side of truck stops for fuel and purchase DEF in bulk rather than by the 2 gallon jug. The site was easy to get started on and the online and phone assistance was very helpful. The online transaction information is very convenient.

I have been using the TSD Opens App for about 6 months now. In all but 1 trip, i was able to use a member store to achieve savings. I appreciate the savings, ease of use as opposed to gas stations with diesel and being able to purchase fuel directly from the pump rather than having to go to the fuel desk to get the pump turned on.

We have used this card for 2 years now and find it very helpful. We use it to both save money and locate accessible fuel stops for our 38ft motor home plus toad. We average about 0.55 to 0.75/gal in savings. Before we purchased our motor home we used it for our pickup truck and 5th wheel trailer.

Driving a F350 with diesel engine towing a RV this app is invaluable. It’s great in planning a trip, knowing which truckstop you can get reasonably priced diesel using the fleet card from TSD. The TSD program brings the price of these truckstops down to normal diesel prices with the luxury of easy pull through lanes and DEF at the pump. Very to use app with radius of truck-stop viewable. Use it on every RV trip.

To make your app even better, I would suggest a memo on each fuel site with instructions of entrance and exit traffic patterns. When driving big rigs, it is so difficult to drive in traffic was well as look for the truck entrance. Some fuel sites have little to no signage and having instructions from the interstate into the truck entrance would be so appreciated.

We have been so pleased with the Open Roads Discount Fuel Program. It is simple and easy to use . You get an email promptly about your discount from your recent purchase and the money is taken right out of our bank account. No bills, no phone calls! This is the way a fuel program should be run!

We are part-time RVers’ and so appreciate the discounts we get from Open Roads. Especially now in this time of high priced fuel, all savings matter. What a blessing to find companies that are innovative and find a way to improve their bottom line and benefit others in the process. Thanks Open Roads!

I have been on this program for two years with no problems at all. It always works great and makes getting fuel a pleasure. Just make sure you know the rules at the truckstops so you don’t slow down the truckers. Remember, you are in their space and you need to respect their time.

First time user with this sort of fuel card. I used it and had questions so I called TSD and they were quick in resolving my problems which were nothing short of me not knowing what to do. The receipt shows the fuel price as marked on sign but the app and my checking account shows the savings. It’s awesome!!

I have been a member for a few years and this program is awesome. I pull a 38 foot fifth wheel with a Ram 3599. Great fuel prices and you get to use the truck lanes which I appreciate. Never an issue getting in and out or height of pump canopy. I have recommended it to many RV friends Thanks TSD for allowing the RV community to join your program

I’ve had this card for a few years and it saved me a bunch of money at truck stops. The app can make a map of your trip. I use this every morning on my trip and decide where I am stopping for fuel. It’s easy to compare fuel prices on the trip. I also have gas buddy and usually TSD is the best price.
