This app is fine for banking only or maybe locations for branches and ATMs, but it needs more features such as mobile banking tips/news and maybe credit union news in general. It would also be useful if there was a way you could manage your account without leaving the app! Somewhat useful but not really.
Yes, it doesn’t have all the fancy features from the big banks, but it has a nice looking interface, has no obvious bugs/glitches that I can see, and gets the job done. Not sure why it is rated so low. I guess it depends on your expectations; I knew that switching from Bank of America to a local credit union that the technology experience wasn’t going to be nearly as fancy. I can manage all my accounts including checking, savings, auto loan, and credit card including making making payments and transfers. Works well enough for me.
I have been a member of this CU for 25 years, and I have always received excellent service. I have also found their loan services to be simple and straightforward, not to mention the low interest rates. I would encourage anybody to use this Credit Union.
This app is beyond frustrating. It doesn’t recognize my password but when I log on through the regular site there is no problem. I’ve changed my password numerous times, deleted and reinstalled the app and it hasn’t helped. I still cannot use the app. Therefore I cannot connect this account to my USAA account so all my accounts are in one view.
Did anyone try this app before shipping? Every single screen has different fonts and colors. It's like every part of the app was built by people who never met. Worst of all is that the transaction listings say "Payment" big and bold, with the retailer and details are in the tiniest font I've ever seen. Maybe 2 points tiny! Plus the dollar amounts and subtotal a are STACKED in a single column! Almost impossible to review charges. The previous app was fairly poorly developed but this is a big step backwards. UPDATE: July 2017. New version fixes most of the previous issues but has introduced new bugs. In particular it now requires an email verification to register my new device before I can finish logging in. Every time I log in. On any device. I have to re-register every device, every time and it immediately forgets. Probably going to just change banks. The apps for outer other two banks are far better and bug free.
This app, like the horrible service this credit union provides, is seriously flawed. It is a petty half measured attempt to stay relevant. Stay away from the U-Deposit, it frequently has errors and you'll end up waiting more than a week for your money. In the meantime, they'll happily rake in profits as the charge you fee after fee for every transaction. A few issues for the app itself, I'll save the issues with the CU for another forum: 1. Security. Logging in needs to be tied in to the fingerprint reader on the iPhone. 2. Currency numerical input brings up the alphabetical keyboard. This is amateurish. What are you doing with all the exorbitant fees you charge when you put your members in bad situations? Get with the program United SA. I highly recommend turning to a different institution for your financial needs. Steer clear of this app until they fix it. Don't put your trust in them, they WILL let you down. Over and over.
