I had some screen recorded footage from a mobile game I wanted to time lapse, so I tried a few other apps before this one since this one didn’t look too polished. One of them could only do it in the present moment (like press record and edit right after), another was a super limited option one that was strict on how long the uploaded clip could be, and the others were “free” but the kind of free where the interface is frustrating and by the time you get to the point of doing the edit you want, it tells you “lul nah bruh you gotta pay”. I almost gave up but I decided to try this and I’m VERY happy I did. It actually is free, like I’m sure there are premium features, but for it focusing on lapsing footage, it is definitely free. No bs, no ridiculously unnecessary features, no forced ads, no begging for you to pay, no terribly made interface- it is just so purely simple. I uploaded my long clip, edited it, saved it, then posted it on social media. Thank you to the devs for an awesome app, I’ll make sure to recommend it to others. Btw I’m using this on an iPhone XS Max.
I dont normally write reviews, but i need to tell yall that if you want a FREE fast or slow motion editor, then this is the right app to use, i have downloaded many apps for fast and slow motion, but all of them, i needed to pay and my video has to be short, but since a came across this app, IM LOVING IT TO make my vids fast, Its free and you can put how much time you want your vid to be.
I used this to speed up a video I took that didn't save as a time lapse for some reason. Quality of the sped up version was horrible compared to the original video. Additional app glitches: - if you're opening a large video from your phone it compresses it for a few minutes, during which you can't let your screen lock or navigate away from app or else it interrupts and you have to start over. - once you choose a speed and hit next, it begins converting your video and there's a cancel button below. The cancel button doesn't work, if you picked the wrong speed you're out of luck and you have to start over.
This is the like the only video editing app that doesn’t ask for a monthly/weekly subscription and you can speed thing up 30x so I love it definitely recommend
So, you see this app and think to yourself that you should get this app. You scroll through the reviews. Well, that’s what I did. I saw mostly good reviews so I decided to try it out. To my surprise, I waited and waited and waited, and the app still “processing” the video. Then, after a while, I try to press the cancel button but nooooo that doesn’t work either, the cancel button just sat there while I tried to tap it for 5 minutes. With all that said, I wouldn’t recommend this app. Try finding a different app worth your time.
This app is really good and I have been using it constantly but there’s one problem. I wish they could fix answer that is the adds. you can pay to get rid of ads but I don’t want to spend my money so if you want to spend your money go ahead but if you don’t then be prepared for a lot of adds.
The app worked perfectly and delivered as it claimed. The thing that kind of put me off and robbed my personal review of the last star is the fact that the quality of what you hyperlapse goes down drastically. (At least in my case) I was speeding up footage of my drawing process and after a slight boosting of speed (1.0x to 2.5x) I experienced bad video quality with the processed footage
This one ain’t it chief. It does not work, it gives a fake loading bar that stays at the same spot. Did I mention that the app is also pretty much spyware? I recommend “Fast Videos”, (it has like a red app logo) which converted my 9 minute video in about 10 seconds, compared to this hunk of garbage that refused to speed it up. Don’t use this. Ever.
You can speed up a video but definitely CANNOT slow it down, even though there is a slider to slow it down. ALWAYS get ERROR message when trying to slow down a video.
Have loved this app a long time! But recently getting errors - "Operation couldn't be completed - PHPhotosErrorDomain -1" I have no idea what it means but i hope the next update fixes this
While this app is free and does allow you to adjust video speed, it will cut your video off in the middle. Not worth the hassle when the end product isn’t what you need.
Just that simple it cut off the end of the video in the time lapse for me I can’t say it happens to everyone but it happens to me just a warning that it might happen to you.
I tried to speed up a video multiple times and every time it took like 10 minutes and not once did the sped up version include the entire original video.
It ruined the quality of the video and instead of saving as a new file it iver write it. Now I have a bad quality hyperlaps from our trip. Save yourself some heartaches. So disappointed, if i can hive zero I would.
Waited 10 minutes to process a 2:30 clip but it never finished. No estimate for now long it would take. If you switch to another app and come back you have to start all over.
I filmed a 30 min video, so I wanted to time lapse it. So I got this app but when I tried to speed it up, the video got a bit choppy and laggy. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
used to work great, upgraded and everything, but lately when i use this app the audio in my videos sounds robotic and distorted even when speeding up a little bit like 1.3x
Change the playback speed of a video. Make it faster or slower as you like. Download now for free! This app helps you to adjust the speed of a video. You can both make it faster (for a time warp/time lapse/hyperlapse) and slow it down (for a slow motion effect). It works with videos that have you already taken or you can record a new video, open it in the app and change the speed. It can be used for footage that was either recorded with your iPhone/iPad or an external camera like a drone, action cam or dash cam etc. E.g. if you have a long scene from driving down a road you could simply make it faster to create the timewarp effect. Or if you have a short video of someone jumping in a pool you could simply slow it down to make a slow motion. If you want to create a funny video try this: Take a video of yourself or someone else talking, make it slower and it will sound like a drunken person. A simple and intuitive slider to adjust the video speed makes it very easy for everyone to create a timelapse or slow motion from an existing video in your iOS photo library. Simply open the app, chose a video from your device and drag the slider to right to make it faster or to the left to make it slower. You can save the final edited video and send it to someone else using iMessage, Whatsapp or other messengers, or post it on social media like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat etc. Download it now for free!
