👍so far I finally found one I can use!!!

𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒎 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒎 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 lots of different options that I haven’t seen in other apps. I’m extremely new at this and most of the apps I can’t even navigate through to make a gif. This has been pretty user friendly especially for a novice like me. I’m sure I haven’t even scratched the surface as to what this app has to offer? So possibly after about a week of use, hopefully I’ll be able to bump that rating to 5stars and a 100% approval? Thank you so much I am having so much fun so far!

Makes good quality gifs

I like the fact that when you convert videos to gifs, the gifs are good quality. I've used other apps where the gif quality is poor and will look grainy, but this one makes nice looking gifs. I also like that when the ad pops up, the X button on the ad actually works, it doesn't trick you and send you outside the app, and it doesn't make you watch the ad for a while before you can X out of it, you can close it immediately. I wish you could make a gif longer than 15 seconds, and the feature to add text to the gif hardly works at all. I use a different app if I want to make any other alterations to the gif. But I stick to this one for converting video to gif because it does the best job, it's free, and the ads aren't annoying.

I highly recommend this app.

I’m pleasantly surprised at how much I’m enjoying this app. I’m just starting out, but so far I’m satisfied with what I’m accomplishing. This app functions as advertised, plus, there are no glitches or freezing. 2/3/23 I continue to highly recommend this application. It has become one of my “go-to” apps for editing. Now that I have used this app for some time now, and if I may, I would recommend improving the resolution of edited images (if possible) following the video to gif process. Thank you. December 1, 2023 ~ I continue to enjoy this app. One minor issue is that I wish the resolution was better after converting from video to Gif.

Works as expected, reasonable price

It has a number of convenient features so it does most of what you would want. I’d recommend. In the future I’d like to see: 1) Edit and combine gif types directly. You can do this when making a new gif with a previous gif, but it’s silly you can do it directly. 2) Re-edit gifs I’d really like to be able to load a gif and redo the frames speed etc. 3) Better pic selection for the gif slide show (2-30). You can’t select a pic twice, and if you need to add something you missed earlier you have to unselect everything. The limit of 30 seems arbitrary and is annoying. Especially since if you make the long gif in reverse order you can append the beginning in front of the previous made part. These 3 features could be improved, but having them at all is above and beyond what the name implies. Great job! PS: add a dark mode.

Please go back to the full screen

I think there was just a new update or something but when you hit video and try to pick out the section of the video you want, the screen scrolls down and goes back to the beginning page very often. I think it’s supposed to be a feature where you can slide down and go back to the main screen. It makes it very difficult to pick out which parts you want in the video because it’s so sensitive. It was a lot smoother before whatever update just happened. Please consider going back to the full screen. I’m not sure why this is necessary when there is a “X” exit button and a “Back” button.

Excellent! Make a paid version without the annoying ads and…

Excellent app, appreciate the flexibility in size control. However the ads are very annoying and frankly I don’t have 15-30 seconds to wait. Make a paid version with the option of using it in landscape mode, and an iPad centric version. I would pay up to $10 for this functionality. It seems you have an option to remove ads but it crashes when trying to use on iPad and iPhone on iOS 17.4.

Made my first video to GIF file

Just wanna let you know I had a blast making my first video to GIF file. It took me a few minutes to get used to the various Tash made with your software but I was successful and I enjoyed the project. I’m trying my second video to GIF now but I might need to read more of you directions to make sure I’m following the proper protocol. So far I will recommend this app to everyone who desires exactly what it says creating gifts from videos.

If your having my problem

So I got a problem where I couldn’t save the gif to my camera roll, BUT I FOUND OUT HOW TO FIX IT!!!!! So if you have this issue there are two things I did to fix it (I’m not sure which one is the one that worked) so either it’s because you chose select photos as what it has access to, which may make it so the app can’t add anything to your camera roll, in that case just allow access to all. Or what you need to do is this. First make your Gif, then save it to album. Next close out of edit mode and go to your album. Click on the gif’s send symbol thing. There should be an other option, click it. Scroll down and there should be a save image option. Click that and your done!

Best One I've Found So Far!

Tried 'em all, I think...and every other gif creator app makes it super hard to share on Facebook. I wanted something that was quick and easy way to share videos I created with the Apple Clips app to Facebook. This one has a FB button that when tapped actually uploads your gif to their own server and pastes the URL to Facebook...which is immediately recognized as a gif and autoplays in the news feed! All I needed! Thanks devs...hope this app stays updated.

It’s pretty great.

Why can’t I add my own content? The only free gif snatching app I could find on the entire App Store that isn’t pitiful and doesn’t require a subscription. I can create gifs without worrying ab copyright bc of the tiny source tag, and I can pull basically anything I can get a link to. Exactly what I wanted. Sadly I cannot splice together gifs previously created by me, but I assume I will find a way to do that with iMovie. Thanks y’all. The only upgrade needed is the addition of text. Far too small and the UI is weird for mobile.

Very nice

Love the app and what it can do! One big thing needs to be worked on though. The text adding is in need of some work for sure. It is extremely limited in colors and you can’t do more than about 2 or 3 words. You should be able to make the text any color you want and you should be able to put a sentence at least on the screen. Please work on that and it will be 5 stars. Thank you!

Would recommend

Finally i found a video to gif maker app without paying a single dollar for watermark, and better yet there is no watermark which is my favorite thing about this app normally its like paying for Netflix subscriptions to get rid of watermark but here i can make gifs for free without charge thank you for this app

ALMOST Perfect

This is the app I use most often for easily creating gifs from video clips or Live Photos. It’s simple. It’s free. No watermarks. And one of the best features is being able to see the gif frame by frame, and move or delete frames. However, the ONE thing that would blow this app out of the water, would be: *to allow adding text on a frame by frame basis* Right now you can only add a caption that shows through the whole duration of the gif. With the ability to edit frames already available, it should be super simple to include an “add text” option in the ‘frame by frame’ mode. Please, PLEASE consider adding this! I’d happily pay 99₵ to unlock it, as well!!

I Like It.. Still Could Use Some Work

I’ve been using it for about 2 days or so and I absolutely LOVE it! So far it’s the best thing I’ve used to make gifs for~👌👌 I don’t however like the fact that you can’t save the gif from the app itself. It seems like a small price to pay, but just a thought. It’s kind of tiring having to work with 2 separate apps just to get one gif out of it. Just a thought.

Not completely as advertised

The app works well with iPhone but the ad states that you add text but I don't see a way to do that. You only have 3 animated text templates which don't give much to work with. I guess you are able to do more if you pay extra. Other than that, I really enjoy using the app.

Works great, minus the text editing

I love everything about this app except for the fact that the text editing doesn’t work right. You can barely add a sentence and when you try to resize the text it goes really small and you can’t make it big again. Also, there’s limited color choices with no options for shadow or outlines or timing of the text. Nor is there anyway to keep the text straight/horizontal when trying to resize it.

It works great without ruining the experience with too much ads

There are a few ads, but the experience of using the application isn’t ruined. It has clear menu with options and easy to access and easy to use. Recommended.

Please go back to original version

This app used to be fantastic but like others have recently stated it’s not very good anymore. The recent update makes the screen shift so when trying to edit it’s become a lot more difficult for trimming due to the indicator sticking or shifting due to the screen shifting up and down. Please fix this because everything else works great!

Keep Recent Pictures Front and Center

Need to update to see recent pictures. It has all the old pictures, screenshots, etc. I don’t have the chance to delete. Should be able to clear the pictures to most recent to recent or visa-versa

PERFECT

I just needed to make like 12 gifs for somebody without paying and without having an annoying watermark. This is quick and easy. No cost, no watermark, and no 30 second ads. Just a little pop up you can immediately X out of when you’re done with each gif. 10/10.

Simple and Money-Free

Thank you so much! I’ve downloaded at least 4 or 5 gif makers, and none compared to the simple and easy-to-use gif maker/editor that didn’t require you to pay $60 a month just to save a gif because discord saves it as videos.

Easy to use from an iPhone

Moving and adjusting text could use some improvement but otherwise it’s easy to use, even from my iPhone. It’s quick. Definitely use it a lot.

I must say that this is one of the best free gif making apps I’ve come across. It’s easy to use and the ads aren’t annoying and as frequent. Though the quality leaves a little to be desired, for the most part it’s much better than basically any other app I’ve tried.

Good converter

This app works very well for me there are few times when it might hang up but those are rare for the most part it does exactly what it supposed to do and gives you several options to create fun little Gifs.

Pretty good

This is pretty efficient and all, but ive noticed that it sometimes changes the colors of a certain spot with another color close to the spot. Now it’s not something to cry over or anything but it does get really agitating and I wonder if this can be fixed any time soon!

Does what I need it to do!

So many simple apps to do a simple task these days seem to require a subscription and that's what led me to this awesome app! It does what all those other gif makers do and doesn't require a constant payment just to keep it. Thank you so so much!

Does what it says.

It worked. Only made 1 GIF .. & FREE is always nice. I saw a GIF APP for $9.99 a month!! I’m not a business! I’m Not making $$ doing this.. so I will give love to this APP for being FREE! I think it will do all I want done as a GIF APP. Thank you to the Developer!! 👍🏻

Not Perfect but Great

For a free app this exceeds anything someone could reasonably expect. I paid for a premium but it got lost when I transferred phones. No big deal and sticking with the free the second time around has been all I really need. I’ve made a bunch of personal gifs that I use all the time.

Works great, but needs more features

I just use it for Video to GIF, but it works very well for that. I can think of a few features that I’d like to see but I’m super happy with this app.

Love it

A necessary step in the evolution from taking pics, sharing pics, augmenting pics with frames/text. Now we get to animate! For free. For real! This is (currently) the best way to communicate via text, this app enables me to up my text game--you can too!

Can No Longer Change Text Color/Style/Size

I’ve always loved this app, but after an update it is no longer possible to change the color, style, or size of text. Hopefully this will be fixed in a future update.

Video to gif

Best video to gif app out there. And I've paid for a lot of crappy ones. Once they update and allow the audio from the video to transfer to a gif gallery or text message rather than only to a public URL this app will be perfect.

Works as described

Worked perfectly. I didn’t have to do anything except grant permission to the app to view my photos, select which video i wanted to convert, and then save it back to my camera roll. Amazing.

Very hard to scrub

Trying to go to a section within the video is hard, especially with iPhones new UI. Every time I tried to move the video to a later section of the video, I change the app because that’s where the bar is located. This must be fixed. App is great other than that

Perfect app

This is one of those rare occasions were an app does everything you want it to do and is easy and intuitive and well worth the two dollars to remove ad and support them.

Used to be great…

Lately no matter what I do it always resizes the gif super weird, like the view will be zoomed in and off to one side so hardly any of the actual video is visible. No idea how to fix this. Seems like somethings up w the output. Works fine before I go to actually make the gif

Good App!

It has good options that lets you henge the speed of your gif, change the source in which you’re getting your gif from, and the quality. However the final product can still look a bit choppy. 4/5

Not intuitive

Really clunky and not intuitive. Videos longer than 15s in your camera roll get cropped at the first 15 seconds (you can’t choose your own crop). You also can only select videos to import once otherwise you have to allow all access to camera roll.

It is great.

It is the easiest gif maker and editor I've ever used, I request a feature: moving text. If during the gif the text moves, it would make things way easier.

Mini problem

After i updated my phone to Ios 14 update the gifs have been made upside down 🥲 and that’s only when like i crop it but when i don’t crop it, it’s good, i wanna be able to crop them and have them good 😔
