Yesterday Review

I mistakenly gave a bad review yesterday because I saw a charge on my credit card that I thought was from you. It should have been given to Priceline who basically did a bait and switch on prices for a hotel room at the Peabody. I was able to get those charges reversed. You guys DID come through on a very good price for the Peabody Hotel and it went like clockwork. Thank you! I’ll use you in the future!

Lying customer service and fraud/fake customer agent

Made a booking for hotel this weekend and accidentally made a typo on the reservation name. Tried calling the customer service written in the email to change the name or add a friend to the reservation so that we could verify the ID and check in. Took 30 minutes to transfer to various lines and meet an agent who said they’ll check on the hotel if that is possible, and the agent said that is unavailable. When I asked the hotel, it said those features are available but I should do them through Vio, so the agent lied and blamed the hotel. Called the agent back, and the agent named Charles said that they’ll make a cancelation with full-refund on the reservation that we already made and will book another reservation with the friend’s name. So we waited and checked back on the hotel lobby if the original one was canceled and new reservation was made. Apparently, the original one was canceled but no new reservation was made. So we called Vio again to check on it, and another agent told me that they’re looking on it but they can’t process it at the time so we should call back tomorrow morning. We waited for 2 hours at the hotel lobby in the midnight for nothing and head back home in a 40 minute uber ride. Called Vio back the another day, and apparently there was no agent named Charles that I talked to, and everything was a lie and false information. Wasted money and time and energy.

I was introduced to VIO app via a friend as he told me that they offer more savings on a certain hotel that I was interested to stay for a week , long story short I was paying as day by day and every day they would post different price for the same room until the third day they posted a higher amount significantly for the same room , I was thinking that’s the lowest rate and I was buying it till the weekend showed up and it was more than twice the price so I looked around the hotel standard reservations was a good amount cheaper than VIO

Given a inferior room as the booked one.

I booked a deluxe king room through vio but the hotel front desk gave me a double bed room. So I called the vio help desk and asking why. The vio representative was like 'i don't know, the confirmation at VIO end is indeed deluxe king but the booking was through priceline so you can only call priceline to find out why'. First of all, the whole booking and confirmation process did not mention anything about priceline in the app and email. Second of all, it's obviously the communication between Vio and Priceline went wrong, but the representative is asking me to solve the issue for them, which is ridiculous and costing me hours. Anyways, very bad service, and poor communication and app implementation.

Great Deals👍🏾

I love that the prices are cheap, but my only concern is that they don’t give you any points towards making it even cheaper and says genius level, but I don’t think that’s enough. I feel like as if they should give me points or give us people points towards a free room or, a cheaper rate just like the hotels do it or some type reward program not saying that they’re taking a percentage off but actually letting us see that we’re actually getting money taken off but other than that it’s a great site. I use it all the time and I also recommend AGODA.

So simple

The process was so simple and the prices available were far better than the other sites. I was booking a room for my daughter and her husband as a surprise for their date night and it even gives you an option to book and pay for someone else’s stay - will definitely use this site again!

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. We drove all day and all we wanted was to stay in a hotel and sleep, yet Vio never sent a confirmation email, the hotel hasn’t received any information of the booking, and their customer service is inexistent. We are literally waiting in the car in the parking lot for a miracle now, since we made a booking for three days and we’re not sure if we will be charged or not. We don’t want to pay twice! What a disgrace and disappointment! It’s a serious scam, stay away from these people! And please don’t send me another link to fill out a complain! Call your customers!

This app is disgusting

This app is false advertisement. They find you a room with no refund back doesn’t matter the condition. They do not let you know what’s going on. What time to check in what time to check out? I had a horrible stay at the Days Inn. No breakfast. let me see we got two in the morning and cannot sleep in the room until three in the afternoon. The room smell like cigarettes and marijuana and it was just filthy and the TV was not working. Unbelievable what I went through with My Husband and they couldn’t even even refund me my money not even half of it. I don’t even want the whole thing just half of it

Worked For Me!

Can’t speak for any other reviews, i trusted my gut, and the app worked! It saved us over 100$ since it had the lowest price, and i successfully booked my reservation. I would recommend calling the place your booking to make sure they receive your reservation. Anyways great app, easy to use i would recommend 👍🏼

Outstanding Customer Service

I am so impressed by my experience with this app. I made a foolish error while booking, and when I reached out to customer service, they responded quickly and efficiently to remedy my issue. Sherrie and Michela are awesome! Will definitely be using this app again for my future hotel needs!

Great deal, good app

No complaint—added basically one quick step (download app) to get a room 20% off compared to nearly every other service. App worked well and only took 2 pages to completion: clicking the hotel, putting in payment. Better than many websites.

Never using them again.

I reserved a room and sat around waiting about 6 hours. The hotel finally said they will put me in a room and have the manager take care of it in the morning. The money for the room was taken instantly yet the hotel never got the reservation. The hotel ended up charging my card on file (due to security deposit) for another room. Now it’s been a run around game to get my money back for anything. The hotel has no record of the app paying for the room and Vio claims the reservation was fulfilled…..

Booked hotel Stay for daughter competition

Love this app First time using it and it did the Justice that was needed very cheap then any other site and I actually stayed at the hote I booked so I know how the hotel stay actually is and never had a complaint ever since I stayed there in the past

Absolutely horrible experience

Was not able to use the app to book it declined the payment called cs and they charged me more . Then get to Orel the reservation name was wrong and missing second occupant. The hotel was able to accommodate but was then charged for breakfast that was to be included. Can not locate a cs contact. Finally tried to find help with the bill through the reservation line was hung up on by the rep. Called back given a email to try which does not work either. Do not use this company

Travelodge 2830 Las Vegas blvd

My rating is terrible. The room smelled like the water was rotten and the maids charged me $30 because my black pants rubbed on the sheet when I sat down on the bed. I waited for two minutes and then I was told it would not come out of the sheet. I doubt the sheet it was washed in two min. It was the worst stay I will be emailing the general manager christoper Myren and send a letter to him. I have been staying here for a while I stay for 3 days and I was treated very one CD

Worst Service Ever! DO NOT USE

They charged my card $180 for the booking. Then I get to Hilton and they tell me there has been no payment made. So I had to pay for the room again only Hilton charged me $157 for the room. When I called customer support they took 45 min to tell me that their card on file with Hilton was declined. Then they called me back to say that Hilton was refunding me the $157 (in 10 business days). There was no apology there was no discount or coupon for next time just an extra $30 for a room and rude customer service.

Best deals out there

Bio has the best deals out there. I just booked a 4 night stay. For less than I could book through any other site. For 3 night. Definitely the best. Booking and check out are a breeze. I would recommend to everyone.

Great rates on nicer hotels

I just stumbled on this site last week and so far, they have the best rates of all. We had no problems with the reservation at check-in and we were given a nice room. I will be using them from now on.

A ripoff

If i could give negative stars, I try to book a room and this app was the cheapest so i went ahead and to book. My wife and i arrived at the hotel i get to the desk and im told i have to pay, well i have a charge on my card but they don’t see it. I ask what card was used i was told a master card. I booked with a visa. I’m confused i look for the booking info, no conformation nothing. I was charged but had no confirmation. I will dispute this with my bank so I’m not made to pay for this scam.

Do not use the app

Most of the hotels are trash. They are very unclear on the process when booking beware. I booked a room and no where on the app did it say anything about the deposit. I got to the hotel and they had a super high deposit. The hotel was not as listed. And both parties where try to scam more money. The process to get a refund is ridiculous and takes 30 days. Go check out the hotel first and do not trust the information this web site a give you.

Beware - VIO is a Fraudulent App

Frequent traveler here, tested VIO numerous times. VIO will show you low hotel prices and then ask you to download their app and provide your credit card details to reserve the room. Once you have given all your information, it will - always- tell you that no more rooms at the low price are available and direct you to higher priced alternatives. Stay away from them, it’s called fraud, plain and simple. Surpriseing that the FTC hasn’t taken them down yet.

Travel lodge in Clinton Iowa

I stayed at this place last night both the woman I dealt with weren’t very friendly nor were they compassionate about my room having BED BUGs yes I said bedbugs good thing Walmart was still open so I went and got some spray and sprayed bedding and all my things even my vehicle was sprayed down no discount no refund nothing I wouldn’t stay at this place again for nothing I’d like to have my money back but not even a dime

Hidden fees

This app has a button you can switch that says total price. So it makes you think that all fees are included. I booked a room on Las Vegas and the extra fees doubled my price even though it was on the total price switch. I have another site I book from and if it says you pay this price that’s the price you pay. I used this app once and since deleted it. It’s shady business.

This app really came from nowhere and is making a great first impression. It saves me the most on rooms, and it’s easy.. If you declines, do it a couple more times, I know I have to with Apple Pay.

Big savings with vio!!

Every other website listed my hotel of choice for $250+, vio had it listed for $164!! Thats almost $100 of savings PER NIGHT!

Worthless. Takes your info.

Doesn’t actually do anything other than take all your info. Got roped into installing the app under the promise there was an “app only” deal. After installing the app and giving it all my info, all it does is link to an outside site, where you have to make another account. DONT INSTALL THIS
