I don’t know why people complain about timeshares. I’ve had my Timeshare with Vistana for years now previously SPGN even when the maintenance fees goes up, so do the prices of hotel rooms it is still cheaper to have a timeshare. Vistana is the best because it has more opportunities in different cities as well as hotel changes. And now that it’s with the Marriott, we are able to go to more Marriott resorts as well. Kudos to Vistana.
Very slow. Keeps on spinning and then gives you an error message.
I thought this would be a quick way to use my Marriott membership ownership. Still haven’t been able to get on it because the app doesn’t work. Interesting that the app developer only responds to the five star ratings he gets. Who knows where those are coming from. He should respond to the ones that let him know this app needs fixing. Update: was told to contact owner services by phone. This number always has at least a one hour wait time. You were offered a menu to have them call you back, but often they never do. Very expensive purchase of a timeshare that makes it very difficult to use.
I was so pleasantly surprised to find so many useful features in this very intuitive app. I have not come across anything that I have not been able to accomplish within the Vistana ownership program while using the app. Kudos!
Vistana takes a lot of money from owners and cannot even offer a user or mobile friendly website platform. There are constantly issues with the check in and log in and anytime I go to use this there is an issue. The site after you’ve logged in asks you to login in again and then the same login in you used doesn’t work. They’ve had issues with usernames and sending to the wrong email, makes you think you were hacked. Do better for something homeowners pay a lot for.
The app does not even allow you to view your maintenance fees or pay it. When I click on the link to pay it just pops up “open with” and doesn’t give you an open if something you can actually open it with! Very sketchy as many will show delinquency since your website does the same thing! No way to pay electronically ever since the Abound rolled out. What a nightmare!
Not sure what’s all the fuss from previous reviews. Just downloaded the app and it works great. Fast, easy and lots of good information. Glad I downloaded it.
The app is absolutely pointless. Click on any if the 6 or 8 icons that should perform a function and a message pops up that this function is unavailable. Why waste development money for an app that doesn’t perform even the most basic functions??? Since we are owners of this app through our timeshare ownership we should demand that our money is not wasted on garbage like this!
Much of the information in the app is as much as three years old it is not current. Also it said I was required to re-create my password but it would not allow me to do it ... basically I’m locked out of my own account
I guess they just want to say they have an app as you cannot book your vacation through it. Not sure why they bothered - lack of customer service is glaring!
This App is the Worst I have Ever Used. It will not let me register or log in- even trying EVERY AVENUE AVAILABLE. Just loops with no way to get a person to help. Says someone will contact me in 48 hours. Just pathetic. I would have rated this app a zero if possible.
App is too new to give an informed evaluation of reservation functionality. My Dashboard and stay history are correct. But there’s a glaring omission: no way to activate Touch ID. This needs to be added asap if they expect people to use it.
Glad you’ve developed it but should’ve waited until fully functional ie reservations etc. Will you do digital keys and online check in too in future releases ?
Why was this app released!?! Most of the functions are not active, this review only and even that isn’t straight forward. If you want to do anything with your ownership i.e. booking, convert to starpoints, etc. you have to go to the website. May I suggest getting Marriott to write the app......
