I have been composing songs since I was 13 and when I got an iPad at 16 I wanted to get an app to record my songs so I wouldn’t forget them. I had picked out a few to test out and this one was my favorite. You don’t have to pay for unlimited recordings (which is amazing) and the sound is pretty good as well. It also doesn’t limit you on how long a recording is and it lets you name your recordings (which were problems with another app). There are also no ads which made this recording app perfect all around. No complaints. I now have a phone and I immediately downloaded this app onto it as well. Keep up the great work! I love this app and highly recommend it!
Still learning to use the recorder and use it to record a dream that is important or notes on subjects I’m studying. Very useful and once the files are named I can choose where to store them for easy access. Great app to use anytime anywhere! Much appreciated, thanks to the creator! Marika
Easy to record. However, here are some issues: If you are recording something and you don’t like it, you can’t just ‘not save it’. You must save it, then go to another screen to delete it. Also, You need an in between step to send a file. Not easy to change a file name. I’m also not finding a ‘help’ section for questions, or an easier way of doing things. Update: I can save it to the cloud in a software program like Pages. It then can be sent as an email, and can be opened as an audio file. Problem solved. So I’m working on the nuances.
I like the way this app works quite a bit. The thing I really miss from my previous recording app, though, is the ability to directly send out a recording as an attachment to an email. I used that feature all of the time, but with this app I have to go into Dropbox, etc, before I can send the recording via email. The other thing is that I cannot rename files once they are named. Sometimes this is a real liability. The new version is loaded with advertising. This would be fine if I wasn't frustrated with the two other items above.
Great to have an app that doesn’t cost that does simple recording and allows you to title a recording. I am doing a complicated series of exercises for rehab, and can’t focus on reading each exercise from an instruction sheet and execute the exercise. Listening as I go along facilitates proper execution of the exercise.
I have a terrible memory and sometimes need to go back and listen to directions again. This has been so helpful in keeping me on track to deliver work.
Gives me everything I want. One must remember that I don’t want much, nonetheless, I am pleased and would recommend it. It’s easy to use, easy to name and easy to recall. I haven’t tried any other features.
Once I figured everything out I thought it was a very helpful app. Great for recording music sessions. Anyone looking for a recording app will be glad they found this. Ease of operation and clarity are very helpful.
Its a great app to record but do wish there would be an option to loop the audio so it would play the audio in a loop other than that its far more than I expected.
I have only if issues with playing back a couple recordings but overall this app is simple and serves the purpose. I wish I could text files - that and a pause and restart recording would bring it to 5 stars.
This worked the first couple of times but I was forced to restart my iPhone on the third try because it kept failing to record. After restart it seems to work OK. This might have something to do with the fact that I almost never restart my phone.
I love the quality of sound that it gives and how well it captures whatever I need it to. Most useful is the ability to have it running in the background of other apps.
With distance learning the new norm, I had to figure a way to record readings for my students. Using this app helped me do that. It integrated nicely with my google drive so I could upload the recordings right to my google classroom.
I have always wanted to journal or write, but never had time. Now it’s so easy to voice journal and save my thoughts to be later organized into a rough draft for my book.
Decades living with songwriter. Never caught the instrumentals in progress until now. Been through bunches of fussy software, figured I'd retire, but no! Found this app, and it is Perfect for spontaneous capture anywhere! 👍🏻
Very well designed and easy to use. I would love to give money to the author, but don't see a way to get the premium version without ads. Otherwise love it.

Great app good sound quality. Just wish it had some effects like chorus delay echo reverb maybe a nice little effects for vocals other than that real good app recommend. it
In a world that is so Inundated with advertisements, it would be nice that this app, not pop up big boxes of inappropriate advertisements. If they must advertise to keep cost down for obtaining app’s, then the customer should have the right to open or close advertisements pop up boxes and choose which ones they want
Whenever an idea comes to my head, the recording app is there. Not only does it record my thoughts, it retrieves them on command. The clarity and quality is excellent.
Went to a medium and pushed to play. It look like it was recording and at the end of the reading there’s nothing there. This is not the first time this is happened, and I missed out on a lifetime reading where my son came through and it isn’t even saved, this is the worst app ever!
crashed twice while I was recording and I was mad because I had to re-record my stuff and I didn’t even know what I said first recording. However the app is decent.
I made a test recording and it was fine. I still have that. But two meetings I had to record are gone. I extended the time to 90 minutes and chose to keep the screen active. It looked like it was recoding but when I went to transcribe they were gone. Not good. I’ll try a different recording app.
