I was happy using WSB’s app and their old online and phone banking tools in the past. Over for several months, however, this app doesn’t work about 50% of the time. The bank doesn’t post announcements or updates about problems and the only way to get a confirmation that the app is down is to contact a Customer Service rep who then has the unhappy task of confirming the app is down again and they can’t give a restoration time to frustrated customers.
It’s a good app, don’t get me wrong, but 3/5 times that I go to check my balance before making a purchase, the app is under some sort of maintenance so I cant log in and check anything.. this always leads to blind purchasing and overspending, which works in the banks favor of course because of overdraft fees.. just fix the app lol
I try to sign up and it gets to a page where I am supposed to enter info but it doesn’t tell me what info. Called the customer service line but they are flooded with calls. I left my name and number last week to get a call back but no one has called me back yet. Tried again to sign in today but it still has the same problem. And they were aware of the issue last week. Disappointing.
Constants get the “bad request” error pop-up and can’t log into my account. Sometimes I just give up, sometimes I close and reopen several times until it finally works. There’s no rhyme or reason. It is the most unreliable app on my phone. Please fix!!!
Cannot do any type of mobile deposit from my phone. Customer Service supposedly reported this issue but that was over a year ago and still not working.
Finally an app for WSB! It's not awful - I can make transfers when I need to, view all my accounts history, etc. It does crash often though. Also, if you don't log in for a certain amount of time, you have to re-register with all the same information. I understand security, but if I put my social security # in once, that's information you should save on my device. That's a very important secure piece of me, and I don't like that I have to give it numerous times to the same people. Also, when I make a funds transfer, there is no way for me to go back and view my accounts - I have to log out and then log back in. Other than that, I'd say the app is okay. It needs updates and little changes, but I can do what I need to do on it.
This app worked perfectly fine (with the exception of bill pay, which it says I am not signed up for and have no idea how to being that my login information does not work online) until today. Now after I log in I get some sort of error message that states rdcs and this app is not able to perform that function. This renders this app once again completely useless as I cannot even check my balance. Hopefully this is a maintenance issue that will be fixed in a day or so. Update- must have been a maintenance issue for 24 hours. The issue with accessing the app after login is gone. Still unable to use bill pay, though.
The app is a great idea and is very useful. However there are a few minor glitches that need to be improved. Sometimes when you log in it takes forever to load, even with full service. And even when it does load it takes a while for you to do simple things such as view your history or do a transfer. It is still relatively new though and I'm sure these problems will be fixed soon!!
Dear WSB, Thank you for the app! However, I have three devices that a am using this app on and each one is requiring a different user name & password. Can an adjustment be made so that just one user name & password could be used with all devices owned by a user?!?
I love Wsb but this app is garbage and they should not have released it, the app actually hurts them it crashes horribly bad I spoke to the corporate office about this ... After reading others reviews it sounds like it is the app if they fix it from always crashing it would get 5 strs otherwise don't waste your storage space it's just not worth it.
They charge you $15 for each transfer if you do more then six transfers in one month. Remember that when you get this app because they fail to tell you that until one day you see a $70 service fee and then they tell you it's cause you did more then 6 Mobile transfers.
Whatever was in the last update totally screwed up this app please fix it, new update and now it's worse, keep getting sorry an error occurred this app needs to shut down!! Junk!! Fix it!!!
Almost every time I login I get an error code. Even though the app was just updated it’s still stuck in 2008. The biggest pain in if you have to update your password. WAY too many hurdles. I shouldn’t have to fill out a form with User name, first and last name, city, state, zip, account number, social, email, and home phone to just update a password. No other banking institution I have makes you jump through this many hoops
Not good at all. 1. Can't have on multiple devices without making new username and password for each, what the heck? 2. Why can't I just use my usual mobile banking username and password? 3. The balance isn't displayed after each debit or credit which is super annoying. I'm looking into my account, I'd like to see what's going on, not just take your word for it. Much happier with the site!
