Good Concept Poorly Excecuted

I love that they made this app for MacOS. and I love the amout of customization they allow. I mean that is why I love my mac in general so I am draw to this type of feature. I also like that it's free. I feel like it doesnt make sense to pay money for the management of my money in general...So I am happy with WeBull in that regard. BUTTTT I don't like that the desktop version does not let you do the "simulated holdings" which I think is a cool feture. The feture its self needs work like when I put in stocks to simulate I was hoping that their softwear would show me if I was "safe" or not like they do for your regular holdings. In short the simulated holdings isn't there I wish it were. Even if it was there in that feture of WeBull is not what I would have hoped for it to be. IE they don't show all user friendly indicators that they have for your actual holdings.

Decent but Needs Improvement

App is ok and has a nice user interface, however there are several bugs and the developer team takes too long to address them. This app has alot of potential and I am looking forward to updates and new features for this platform.

4.0 on Update Ruined the Platform

Ever since they updated the UI to 4.0 the over all experience is awful. Very few options to allow you to change features on the charts and if your using certain indicators that go below the chart like RSI you lose half the available space thats aloready limited cuz you are stuck with the news, finacials, ect. tabs that you cant simply drop down. Ive been a user on here since early last year and thought it was amazing but now i highly recommend not downloading and looking into other options. I mainly use this just for data and tracking and use another platform for trading but both functions became much more difficult and frustrating since the update and i will be deleting unless its fixed in the next update. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!

Great Support

Their support team is among the best. I've been using webull since late 2019 and have had several feature requests go to support and normally they are added in within a few updates. They are super quick to respond. ALso all the new hotkeys and customizabilty they've added lately to support day traders is great and I haven't found it in any other free trading platform. Also for long term crypto investing webull is great because you don't pay any fees. It really is a great system with great support.

My go to app on phone

i have been with webull for many years. when i signed up they did not do options and now they do. trading from a phone is the easiest to do using webull. i have tried many and this is by far the best phone platform. they add more and more everyday. customer service has always been fast ant top notch. Great Job to the men and women at webull. I love this app. lastly , Im not affilitated or personally know anyone at webull. i never write reviews really but felt it neccessary here.

Completely Recommend!

I began trading with Robinhood and loved it at the time, but as my experience grew and I started becoming aware of indicators and the importance of execution times for day trades, it lead me to look for something better. I found Webull! Webull has the indicators I use (and so many others), customizable platforms, screeners, and you can program hot keys to make split-second trades! Oh, and it si all free. One thing Robinhood has that Webull does not is the ability to trade fractional shares. Aside from that, I am not missing good old Robinhood!

Nothing special

it isn't anything special. options that it povides are actually not that much better than those of robinhood. Robinhood is better in a lot of aspects. trading options, it only provides cookie cutter option techniques. Even moomoo and robinhood has ability to make own custom option order. Let's put it this way, one multi-legged option order on robinhood and moomoo will be single multiple orders on webull. Webull also does not reinvest dividedns at NAv with margin or any account. moomoo has a lot lower margin rates. so, for trading options, webull is lacking greatly. margin rates - webull is exepensive. dividend reinvesting in margin account is not offered. interest paid on unused cash is also not offered in margin account. cannot trade option after 4pm est, they had taken this future out. All in all, there are better options awailable than webull. Unless webull will fix issues and ofere futures mentioned - webull is not my primary account and i wont recommend it.

I want to like this app...

and so far I do - except: Sync across apps (iPhone/iPad/desktop) is a bit slow. The desktop and iPad apps sometimes have to be completely shut down in order for new settngs or sync to take place. Near as I can tell the customer service is non-existant. I'm currently clocking nearly an hour on hold with their customer service number. Same song over and over, no updates on hold time or an option for call back. No email confirmations from online support nor updates. I'm slowly rising in the belief that Webull is just a massive self-sustaining bot.

Love it!

I love Webull! I think Webull is a threat to RH. There is some pros and cons between the two and if Webull implement some features from RH that would make Webull a perfect free trading platform. Webull app on Mac and iOS is amazing! much much better than RH in many ways. I would like to see Webull offer a flat monthly fee for margin account with zero interest similar to RH Gold. Real-time buy and sell like RH. Options. PM and AH trading. Cryptocurrencies. Web interface. And many more...etc. Thank you Webull!

Could be designed better

I like webull it's the main broker I use. But there has got to be some changes to the platform. First, the application for the computer doesnt have a lot of indicators that the mobile app does. When you click on "all indicators" they are not all there as well as there is no search. Second, The platform often crashes. So far I have only experienced the interface not working during aftrer hours and non trading hours. Sometimes nothing loads at all and sometimes you just cant see any charts. This is the biggest issue I have. Sometimes it can be a little scary having short term positions you have no idea what are doing and have 0 access to. Webull please fix these main issues and I'd be back with a 5 star review. As I'm sure lot's of other unhappy traders would be too.

Perfect App

I was looking for an app to run in the background while I have other windows open checking email, on safari, whatever. Real time tracking, tons TONS of information, very fluent, clean look AND they dont run ads and/or make you pay to use. Fantastic.

Good App, but lagging issues

i love the whole concept behind the set up and all its features, but one BIG mayor issue. The desktop version is lagging TREMENDOUSLY that it affects pricing and all trades ending up in a decreased selling or buying price that you never agreed to in the first place.

Great but have some feedback.

The drawing tools need work. Even though I clear old drawings, if I could back later they are back. So after a while I have many lines that even when I delete them they just come back. And then they appear in my mobile app and accumulate there as well.

Need realtime updated the news.

I choose Webull is my main broker. I feel good about service from the app. But One big mistake of Webull is the news is not realtime updated. It keeps me out of chances. I want you to improve the realtime news update of Webull, this tool will be helpful for a lot of people who are using your app.

No Response FOREVER!

There are so many bugs in this app. When you submit your questions through this app or online, nobody ever deal with them!. And it takes FOREVER to transit your moany. Everything is so freaking slow, especially for iMAC system. When you drew and deleted some assisted lines, don't be suprised they will come back again from time to time. They're just like your ghost, which are so annoying!

Support is not existed

While i liked webull on the phone, the desktop version is super buggy, crashes and support is a total joke. Take usually a day or two to get any response and when you do get one, it is mostly zero help. If you are serious about investing probably better stay with TD, fidelity and brokerage with real support. New version 5.5 just crushes every 15 minutes.

Great App!

This app has everything that I need for when I am investing in the stock market. This a good app, I recommend it to others. It is also very informative by providing real time information, and it allows the user to keep track of their shares.

Desktop App (update)

I was initially thrilled with the WeBull Mac app; but the "Save Layout" feature was broken - but at least for now it seems fixed. *Thanks I'll drop a more comprehensive review here after I spend more time with the app. But so far, so good.

no longer working

As of 4.9.50 this ap no longer working, unable to login. Gave 5 stars for when it did work as it a great app, hopefully issue gets resolved very shortly... as in hours.

What I was looking for! Needs some improvements

I love the design and all the detailed graphs, news about the stock or market, ability to add portfolios and different view options. Other similar apps are either very expensive or have terrible UIs. This one is very clean, easy to use. However, I think alarm feature doesnt work….. Which is a shame because I was really excited about that. I did set multiple alarms, just to test it. None of the alarms I set worked…. Also color scheme should be reversed, Currently gains are red , which doesnt make sense to me. They should be green…

Its Good

The desktop app is really great. Takes a little while to get everything figured out but I like it. You can drag and drop orders on the chart pre market.

Stop Loss & Take Profit sell orders glitch!!

When I select the 'take profit' and 'stop loss' options, the SL will glitch and disappear and i can't sell with TP because it's lower than the bought price. This forces me to remove the TP sell order and create a new one and i've lost money due to this glitch! I also can't seem to get the order confirmation removed when trading with hot keys(yes the order confirmation button in settings is unchecked). Please fix!!!

Not liking the update

I cannot figure out how the charting works on the 9 panel view or perhaps they limited it. Can I change to RSI view...how? Also, I cannot get the candlestick chart to show on the 1-5-15-x views. That said, and although I subscribe, it is still one of the better free apps.

Great app!

Powerful tools, second to none. Apple silicon support is missing. An option for the "Alerts" to be single or reoccurring, would be a huge benefit. Ultimately, thank you.

UX update/revision completely saved the app

was terrible and i was on the verge of deleting the app but the new UI is 1000x better, would definitely recomend. some of the functions on the app will take you in little widget loops but it works quite well beside that

Very poorly written, buggy

For some odd reason WeBull pushed an update and now I am running a beta version. No way to revert, no way to download old versions online. Here are the problems. 1. Cannot log in most of the time. 2. Will ask you to create a new account every time you log in even though you already have an account. 3. Support does not work and crashes the app. Very poorly maintained app.

4.9 Update buggy

after updating from 4.7 to 4.9, I can no longer sign on. Keep getting message "Connection error, please try again". No matter what I do (rebooting, changing WiFi connections, Signing out and back in) nothing seems to help. Nothing from customer service either. 4.7 was an ok app but 4.9 is completely broken.

"Not trusted source"

I used to love using this app, but whatever happened within the last couple of months totally screwed the program up. Every time I reinstall the app and open it, I get a message on my computer saying something like, "Not trusted source", "App software needs to be updated, contact developer". I'll probably give 5 stars once that issue gets fixed.

best app

i never write any review, this is my first one, but you guys deserve it. The app is beautiful, works smooth and is very useful. I guess once you get the options in, i will switch from robinhood ;-)

Preference for the Mobile App

I have a preference for the mobile app. On the mobile app i can look at the EMA line for 3, 6, 12 months, etc. But on the mac app it only allows me to do that up through 4 hours. Generally, I like to swing trade, so it makes it not as conducive to how i like to invest

Awesome but..

The app is great, it runs fluent but, It doesnt have an easy way nor a way to jsut go ahead and change the charts to candlesticks, some people like it easy to get it into candlesticks. However the app is beatiful and runs so smooth, it's amazing !

User Friendly but Glitchy AF

There always seems to be a problem with the desktop app. I'm currently unable to login due to a network connection error that others appear to be experiencing as well. It should'nt take this long to fix a problem that has rendered the entire application useless.

No Pivot Point indicator!

I don't understand why there is no pivot point indicator available in the indicators menu! The iPad version has it! I don't know why this Mac version doesn't have it! And if there is a pivot point indicator, I dont know how to display it! Can someone from Webull help me???

Desktop app in beta testing

I’ve found this app to be very glitchy, contacted WeBull tech support and this is their response: "The desktop version is currently in beta testing. There will be glitches and bugs until we release the final version to the public. We plan on releasing it in 4-5 months."

keeps crashing

I dont know why but the app keeps crashing on the desktop, even though the website and mobile app are still completely functional. The whole app freezes and I have to close it and reboot it.

Awful

I began using webull recently and I've already experienced so many errors. The app is telling me right now that the server connection is lost and doesnt' let me log in. I'm having this problem for 3 hours and still isn't fixed yet.

No longer loads

I used to love this detailed application. Then I got the updated version and it no longer even loads. I see many others with the same problem. Why don’t the developers make an effort to fix it? Lots of negative reviews now.

New Widget 4.x version

Not happy with the update. Can't even compair more than one stock on a chart. I also modified the widgets and can't get it back to default. Spent more time messing around with this version vs trading. Wish I can go back.

Watchlist Column order won't stick

Ever since the latest update, when I customize the order of the column layout on my watchlists, it won't stick. I even tried locking layout and it doesn't work.

4.9 Version is broken

4.9 Version updated 5/9/21 is broken Does not let me sign in it asks to open new accoun when I click to unlock it takes me to the webull page and get "Authorization failed !" message.

Webull is BS -don’t waste your time

Could not register pure crap ux, tried a few times in different ways, then decided it was not worth the effort. Maybe webull should test their product first. Hey webull investors, bad choice, put your money in a company that tests their signup before putting it in the app store.

Desktop 100% does NOT work. At all

Why even release this? Did you guys even try? Consistently freezes 2 seconds after opening. Have NOT been able to use this once since it crashes EVERY TIME!
