Easy and fun to shop
Love the design of this app. So easy to check on what is new and what is on sale . I enjoy adding items to my favorites. It gives me a chance to keep my clothing and accessory choices organized into needs and/or wants. The app automatically adjusts availability and price changes. Really enjoy WHBM with their beautiful line of clothing and accessories. I am 75 and can always find something appropriate and very special even at my age.

Store personnel can act a bit like “Pretty Women”
Sadly Returns/exchanges are not overly welcome at the boutique I frequent. For example: I had been told by customer service that in order to take advantage of the next days 20% entire order sale that I had to buy everything again and return the first order!? I thought that was not very good service but he said it is policy. I spent a small fortune renewing my wardrobe from this boutique because I love the classic style and have many things from early 2000 still in my closet! So, I brought back what I initially ordered to get an immediate refund (the wait is not acceptable online; I’m not a wealthy woman!) and was in a hurry to make a play at 5:30 that night… I forgot my phone at home and therefore, could not locate the order for one swimsuit to exchange. Nina called customer service and was on hold for literally 45 minutes as I asked four times (at first very sweetly) to just return the money for my returns and let me come back another time with my phone to easily find the order because I was going to be late…she actually said in a spiteful tone that she “wasn’t going to hang up on customer service now after all this time” my friend and I never made the play. This sort of lack of respect is not acceptable especially when the customer is trying to comply just as told. Anyway, from now on if I continue to shop here I choose to do on line shopping only. Plus side, there is more online to choose!

Problems with the WHBM app
I love shopping online at WHBM but the app is riddled with glitches . I have an iPhone and the default browser is safari . I had to call almost every time I wanted to make a purchase on the app because the order wouldn’t go through and customer service will tell me that it’s because I own an iPhone and the app has problems /glitches with this browser . I’m asking you ; at least 50% of the customers have an iPhone, so why doesn’t WHBM take care and resolve those glitches so we , the customers of WHBM won’t have to spend almost always close to an hour waiting in queue for a customer service representative. I would except much more from a hide end company like WHBM and I would expect them to get on top of it and resolve those glitches that we , the IPhone users keep encountering . I hope someone in the upper management of the WHBM sees my review and will finally do something about it ! Thank you !

Not worth the time to load it
Using the site directly from the internet offers more features than this WHBM app. Ive tried it numerous times at first thinking there might be a learning curve. No, this app it limited. Over and over again it seemingly randomly refuses to load a specific item to display details, more photos, etc. Given an “oops, try again” prompt I uselessly have hit this button again & again. It does not help. Also, if the “what to wear” the item with feature is available, then it’s well hidden as is the option to write a review. Shopping online should not be challenging nor frustrating, it should be fun. It should also not take customers an inordinate amount of time to learn the app, rather it should take no time at all. This company gets thousands of my dollars per year, yet they never seem to listen to any of their customer feedback never mind mine. I fear this review is useless in this regard. Si, please just avoid avoid this app. You will be better off.

Awful / completely Unstable
I have wasted over 3 hours over several days trying to view items where the item and photo will result in errors so you can’t even add the item to the bag. When I finally have over $1800 of merch in the bag, the app crashes resulting in zero items in the bag. After reboot and refresh nothing is there. This is beyond frustrating. I actually went into the store yesterday because the app was horrible. When my size wasn’t there in store the rep said it’s online and available. Why can’t this be a seamless process like it used to be. I have also had to re-register for the new rewards program a million times. What the heck happened to the old WHBM? This is beyond substandard for any online retailer. FIRE YIUR WEB DEV TEAM. This should be an embarrassment to the brand but more over you are losing business. Don’t be difficult on the purchase. That’s 101.

App is not user friendly and has bugs
I tried to order 4 different times. One item is a gift and I selected the gift receipt and gift bag and wrote a message. Then the app took me to a new “shopping screen” and I was unable to get back to my order. Had to redo it. Also did not give me an option to ship the gift to a different address. My items disappeared from my shopping bag several times and I couldn’t apply my discount because it didn’t recognize my email even though I’ve been shopping at your stores for years and get 5% off everything when I make purchases in the store. I even resigned up with my husbands email to get the Online discount and at check out no discount was applied. I won’t shop at your store Online ever again.

Odd glitches
I tried to use this several times. First, there were items I could not find here. Second, it didn’t always recognize the shopping cart I had on the website. Third, it didn’t seem to credit the local store that I use so I was afraid they would not be recognized for the referral emails. Finally, today, I added a shirt, went to checkout, could not find it on the app, re-added it only to find it there twice. Went to remove one of the shirts (same size, same color) and removed both. That shouldn’t happen. I only noticed because of the price changes. Not inspiring any confidence.

Very difficult to order
I have been on this app several time to place an order because the app continually would become frozen as I tried to complete my purchase. If I wasn’t in love with the items, I would have given up a long time ago. I estimated that I had to try over 10 times to make the transaction complete.

Navigation
Please show a picture of first item purchased so we don’t have to try to remember the order number to view order and return status. Also, return user to the order menu list rather than back to your main menu so we can continue to search orders without the extra step. Search by gamer type needs improvement. Allow filters by garment TYPE, style, size, etc. Glad to see you’re now offering an app and look forward to seeing the improvements.

Online shopping
When ordering it requested my email address then my password, I spiraled into a loop which would not let me out of it. Next it told me to use another email address, I only have 1. It was me but did not recognize me. When I saved an order in my cart from last week it did not highlight it but I could faintly see it and I kept getting an error message so it took repeated times to enter items in the cart. Online shopping should be easier not wast time fix this app.

Keeps Getting Worse
This app just keeps getting worse and worse and now it can’t get any worse because it doesn’t even work! I love WHBM but there utter lack of caring that the app doesn’t work and the frustration it is causing their customers is concerning. Get it together either fix the app or take it down. And if you update the app can please stop it from constantly losing the wishlist? What’s the point of a wishlist if it is always getting wiped out. I find this app so frustrated I don’t even end up browsing using the online version and that means a lost sale every time because it was rare I looked and didn’t buy.

I love this store but the app is frustrating!!
98% of my clothing is WHBM purchases. I shop here regularly. I love shopping online and in the app. The app is glitchy at best. I can never get into my “favorites”. It shows that I have some items saved there by when I try to access that tab I get the same “retry” message. I have tried rebooting my phone, turning off my VPN, deleting and reinstalling the app and nothing works. So, it’s useless to save any favorites as they will be forever sucked into the hole of no return.

Filters and navigation is not intuitive
Need better consistency on menu and it is impossible to change. Email address information on this app. In addition store pick up options should either shown product is not available or be an option. This app on the phone is awful. Absolutely one of the worst. Funny you ask for feedback, but I can’t see anything that you typed on this interface. You should really consider hiring good IT people interface.

Great deals and even better rewards system!
I’m in love with WHBM’s quality and feel. I’m going to be a customer for life if they keep the good stuff coming, like they have for years! I’m specifically gray for making quarterly sale’s and rewards, which makes this high end clothing affordable, even for a single mom like myself !

Glitchs,…..
So many issues with the app!! I’ve had to buy s verbal pieces twice in order for the item to leave my cart!! I live Several hrs away from the closest store. Having the app is great!! When it works! Also, it needs to UPDATE the out of stock. If it’s no longer available then it should be removed. Don’t give me the option to ‘buy it’ when it’s not actually available. Going to rethink my love for the his particular store. It’s costing me more in shipping charges than it worth. Think I’m done with the app.

Great Fit, Great Quality, Timeless Clothes
It is difficult for me to find clothes that fit well and are good quality. I know when I get something from White House Black Market it will last forever and the styles are timeless so I never feel out of fashion. I have never had a disappointing purchase.

Love the clothes but dislike the shopping process
There always appear to be technical difficulties on this app. I wish the filter system worked better. For example, if offered in P then show both options rather then only showing in the P view. And, when I try to purchase and an item is no longer available, it doesn’t show which item. When I try to call, I just end up hanging up after 20 min. This has always been one of my favorite shops but I wish it would do better in customer service.

New Rewards System
I am not happy with your new reward system. The old system was much better. You got more off total price, depending on amount purchased, and it was immediately. Reduced sale price items are not as good, nor is your discount on total purchases made.

App issue
When items are placed in my bag, the description doesn’t always show the size of the item I selected (which changes depending on the style for me) so if I want to change a size, I have to delete the item and then add it back in the correct size. Not very user friendly if changes need to be made. There should be an edit option in the shopping bag layout to swap sizes easily.

Notifications
My biggest frustration with this app is that I can’t figure out how to clear the badge notification. Most apps have the notifications bell at the top of the app to look at the notification and clear it. You have to dig to get to the Messages section and even if you clear the message, the badge doesn’t remove. After clicking through the whole app I can’t find a way to clear the badge notification.

Confusing
I want to love the app option, but sometimes the sales don’t always show up through the app. It’s time consuming to scroll through and browse items, especially if there isn’t anything specific you’re looking for. It almost seems like the website has more options. For example, via the app, there wasn’t a specific color top I was searching for, but the website had it. The most frustrating thing is I don’t receive my membership discount.

I love Whbm and have shopped mainly there for the last two decades! I’m 56 and feel I can still dress sexy sheek without looking silly! I bought two bikinis this year on sale that are off the charts comfy and flattering! Keep on doing your thing! I’ll keep buying it!!

The WHBM has a great App but the system doesn’t update info correctly. Many times have to delete and delete again items in the bag before checking, it doesn’t save the info! Same thing with billing info, save and save and save till it saves and process the purchase through.

Frustrating
I was pleased to see an app from WHBM. However, it’s a bit frustrating that items that come in multiple colors are each shown separately. You can’t click on an item and see all the color options, you have to scroll through to see if it comes in your desired color. Keep trying…

Will use the app for future shopping. Visited my local store (Meridian ID) a couple of days before the promo to scope out purchases. Other than an initial hello I was not spoken to again by an Associate. Used to getting red carpet treatment. Very disappointed.

White House Black Market customer service is the best! I love that they offer 5% discount if you are in their program and free shipping! I was a Loft customer for years, but have recently decided am done with them due to high shipping costs, poor customer service and poor quality on many of their clothes. WHBM has my business!

This app needs work
I LOVE this store!! It my favorite. But this app is super frustrating when completing a check out. I had a bunch of things in my cart and when I tried to edit the cart, I’d have to make one change and it would save it, but it would totally lock up. If I didn’t love this store so much, I would have given up on this purchase.

Has Potential
App has potential to be great but a few things just don’t work. For the sale - when you filter it puts both sale and regular priced items. In the semi annual sale it doesn’t give the option to view by category and it doesn’t filter out items that are out of stock. Love WHBM but the app isn’t quite there yet

WHBM’s cs is impeccable. The woman I have interacted with have been fresh as morning at 12 am! Very pleasant all the way down to the store staff. I have been working in a retail/ service industry for 40 years and being pleasant at all hours is commendable! Bravo!

I have only had great experiences with my purchases from WHBM. Any time I’ve shopped at one of their retail stores or online, it’s been a great experience! I also love that they have clothing that fits a woman’s body. I am tall and have curves - and so many of their pieces fit perfectly!

Upon checking out if item are unavailable a notification pops up. Unfortunately the notification doesn’t tell you which time is unavailable. If you have several items you have to guess and delete them one by one to figure it out.

The site looks like it might be fun to use…if only I could log in. I continue to use the same email and password as the website and the app gives me an error every time. I have deleted the app per the communication from your support and nothing works. I have followed all directions from support and the app is not accessible. WHY?!?!
I love WHBM’s quality & have always received incredible customer service in-store. I am shocked and appalled I can no longer get my favorite cashmere jeans that have been discontinued and replaced by their horrible quality everyday soft jeans. Also by the fact the 2024 spring catalog showing a vest that costs $110. Can we be reasonable please?

App was great initially but now has error issues
I began using the app right away. But, the past month and a half or so, it wipes out all saved items that I had and the purchase price was not correct in the total so I had to go back to website to order anything. It continues to have error messages and I have to close out of the app and go back in continuously. It has become a hassle

Continued Error Message in the Cart
I love the app but I had to delete it. I kept receiving an error message in the cart and was unable to complete my purchase. Also, please update so that once an item is in the cart you can update the quantity of an item; I accidentally added two pairs of the same shorts and had to delete the item and re-add it because there is no option to adjust the quantity.

Glitch after glitch
I tried to un-favorite items and it kept duplicating the list of favorites. Very annoying. Another issue I’ve noticed in th last couple of days is that when you view an item, the picture shows part of th second image of the same item. You normally swipe to get to get to the next image but now you see part of the other image

Just right!
Styles on trend, fit usually 10/10, fabrics A+ - returns not a problem but refunds dont always arrive in a timely way. WHBM still owes me for a pair of pants. Calling takes a lifetime and the sales people usually just refer you back to the call center. Please get better.

Too long to place an order
I had to enter all my info twice. One time to log in, my info was not saved, even though it was marked save my info. Had to re-enter everything again including email and password to have purchase count under rewards program. Very inefficient process.

App has limitations
It’s wonderful to have this app, but surprisingly compared to Stitch Fix app, it is highly limited. Features available on website are not on app like other colors, store availability, how to wear. Find the website more versatile. App also crashes or randomly clears out favorites. Hope developers fix this bugs.

Old carts sneak into Cart at check out
I have to really watch the cart before sending order…. There are always errors in cart, and sometimes old items that I don’t want will be in the cart that I had previously removed.
