I played this app when I was 3 and just redownloaded it. I am addicted to it, but I can never unlock the next level pack because I don’t have enough ducks. Maybe you could make the next level packs cost a few less ducks????? Also I think you should make the other alligators free. I love the free 5 Allie and Cranky levels, and I want to do all of them but it costs money!!!!!! So maybe you can change some of those things, or at least respond to this review. Thanks and goodbye!!
I beat all the levels in this app years ago, deleted it for a while, and just redownloaded it to play through it again. As others have mentioned, playing without a home button is a whole different (annoying) experience, since some of the gameplay is now below the area of the screen that you need to swipe to minimize games. Which moves the app around and pauses gameplay. Also, I remember some of the actions in this game to have been a lot more fluid. Bars you have to move with your finger don’t move smoothly now, so it takes longer to adjust them to the right angle you need them at, and faucets have to be held a lot longer before whatever fluid comes out, which makes it more difficult to control how much you want. I’m on level 4-12 at the moment, which requires exact aiming and quick, precision shooting of green slime and purple poison and I know EXACTLY how to beat this level because I’ve beat this whole game before, but it’s proving impossible because of all of the issues I mentioned above! Such a shame because this was a great app game. Could be great again with some updates to improve things and modernize it for the new iPhones.
This might be my favorite smartphone game ever. It’s the perfect combination of charm, polish, difficulty, and is just such a pleasure to play. It’s the only game I come back to year after year to replay, and I’m sort of dreading the day when the developers stop updating it. The music is incredible! Every piece of DLC is worth it; just the right amount of added content. I can’t even pick a favorite. I’m rambling and gushing but this game is just that good. WMW2 didn’t quite scratch the itch for me, something about it felt off, like it was using a different game engine? Or different developers? I’m not sure, but this game is just wonderful.
Needs support for newer iPhones with no home button
I love this game! I purchased it a long time ago and have played through every expansion. I am giving it a 3 star rating because now that I own an iPhone XR, there is no home button. This is an issue because some of the nozzles to shoot water appear at the bottom of the screen and when I go to hit them, the screen tries to move out of the way and it pauses the game automatically. It makes any quick movements impossible. Some levels are impassable because of this, more specifically, level 7-12. When I try to quickly hit the switch, the app tries to close a little bit and the game pauses. It makes the game unplayable.
I played this on my phone years ago and loved it. I recently decided to redownload it again and am rather disappointed this time. I have an iPhone 11 (so no home button) and I’ve had to skip some levels just because it’s nearly impossible to complete them. The controls are placed too far to the edge of the screen, so my phone thinks I’m trying to leave the app in the middle of levels. Then the game is paused and I don’t have enough time to press play and activate the controls I was needing to use Unfortunately I doubt this will be fixed, seeing as how the last update was 7 months ago and there’s now a where’s my water 2 available for download
It's one thing to have an ad after every level. BUT TWO ADS? Every time I watch the required amount of time to fast forward through the rest of the ad (which is typical for most apps) it then has a SECOND ad pop up. This game used to have so many bugs and close regularly for no reason. Glad they fixed that fatal flaw at least. But the second you guys fix that issue, you pull this stunt? I've never played a game with so many ads. Fix this ridiculous issue and I'll delete my review and give the game 5 stars. This game has the potential to be good, and even something I'd recommend to others... but given the constant double ads after EACH LEVEL, I will never recommend this game to anyone.
I have been playing this game since I was like 5 or something (I am 10 now) and I love it! I just downloaded “Water? 2”, but, I wish it looked more like the old game (the stone, dirt, and water). My only suggestion is maybe (on the other characters) instead of having five or so levels each, having a whole... group (the... big areas... like ‘meet swampy’... sorry, I don’t know what the group things are called). Anyway, I love this game, and will you please acknowledge, and think about adding these suggestion. Thanks!
I have be playing where my water for years Where the old games?? We all have childhood memories of games that we played back in the day I really want to know what happened to those game?? AKA the game need to fix I'm using iOS 9 on my iPad 2 and it lagging bit I like it the background is good but it like 24-bit-34 bit it like minecraft and call of duty zombies and five nights at Freddy AR the background look worse than roblox and where the cars games I haven't see that game for years now it a good game idk why u have to remove it from Apple Store and Google Store And another PLZ FIX THE GA,E :,>
I remember playing this game as a child so much! I love how it is interactive and has such good quality! I heard FGTeeV say “it’s the guy from where’s my water” at 17:10 in the video Billie Bust Up’s Million Ways to Die (FGTeeV Fantoccio & Barnaby Chase + Music Competition). I immediately went to my Notes app and wrote the app name “where’s my water down” because as soon as I heard the name, I immediately knew what he was talking about. this is so good for kids and even adults. I 100% recommend this game for anybody!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love this game but it no longer loads. It disappears after the loading screen. App support doesn't have a spot to report an issue, which is poor design and doesn't help the developers find the bugs to work out. I followed the Disney basic troubleshooting steps and even reinstalled after that and it didn't work. The game still doesn't get to the main menu screen. Disney's troubleshooting page for this game doesn't have my issue listed and again doesn't have a link to report one. I'm not sure how they plan to solve issues if they aren't getting data about them. I don't feel that Reviews is the best place for this information but other options aren't apparent.
I played this when I was younger and I so happened to remember it the other day so I downloaded it. OMG the nostalgia was insane!!!!! I still love this game even though I have played it so many times. It is absolutely incredible. Back when I played it for the first time it was free but I was not scared that I wouldn't love it all over again. I bought it without a second thought because the price is so cheap and it's just so good!!!
I love this game!! i’ve played, bought and beat it a bunch of times. I would love better support for iphone x. the ducks and the mysterious items are kinda hidden. also the slider is a bit big, bulky, and very sensitive. when i want to make small lines it keeps pushing the slider and moving me. i’d recommend this to anyone! during hurricane sandy here in jersey i binged this game as my only means for entertainment for about a month while the power was restored.
The game is fun on the levels that don’t have anything to touch at the bottom. I saw there was an update and I was so happy thinking they finally fixed the bad formatting for the current phones. Downloaded it and tried the level I’m stuck on. Nope the game still thinks I’m trying to leave the game pausing it in the process. This makes it nearly impossible to switch the values or do anything at the bottom of the screen. Please can you fix this it’s been a while now.
Imma be real with y’all. This is my favorite game. Better than Halo, better than league, even better than second life. Where’s My Water is ALWAYS there for me. Through thick and thin, through a divorce and a hurricane, where’s my water is always right beside me. I don’t know what I would do without swampy and the ducks. Side note: this game is far superior in ever way to the lack luster sequel and absolutely worth the $2
I have loved this game since it came out however I haven’t really played much since getting an iPhone without a physical home button. Now with the ‘swipe up to home’ feature on the newer phones, it makes some levels near impossible to get through because I will try to click on a converter near the bottom and instead of clicking it, it will pause the game and try to swipe up. Very frustrating for how fun it used to be
Just pay for this and save misery of ads. I purchased it for my grandkids (under 7), but have landed up enjoying it more than the kids. The challenges in the game are sometimes tricky, but after some tries are doable. It helps me relax and keep my brain sharp. It is interesting how a simple game can have so many variations with simple elements of water, steam, coal, fans, slime, pink liquid, etc.
I’ve always love this game. I’ve been playing since I was a kid. I just recently downloaded it on my newest phone. But now I can’t get past level 7-12 because the lever is at the same place I swipe to get out of the app. It would be nice for it to fit the iPhone 14 pro max screen better so we don’t have to fight with the app to get the lever to go down.
I have an iPhone X and I’m playing level 9-4. This also occurs with many of the Allie labels. The water spout is at the bottom of the screen and I’m trying to slide it back and forth to complete the level. When doing so, the entire window shifts because it is expecting to slide to the next app. Unfortunately, I can’t play the level due to the interaction. I have not verified that this occurs with other levels. I would appreciate your help to review the bug. This used to be my favorite game but now I can hardly play it on my iPhone X. Thanks!
Great game for kids and adults as well. But they need to redesign some of the boards to account for the iPhone X not having a home button anymore. Anytime you need to have functionality for something towards the bottom of the screen, you will accidentally swipe out of the game or it will pause. Extremely frustrating and has deterred me from playing the game lately. I’ve noticed this slide/close app problem with a lot of games on the new iPhone X. Many app developers need to address this problem.
iPhone: My only complaint is that if you’re trying to use controls that are on the sides of the screen, it stops the game. There’s a level where it’s set up like a pin ball machine. Because the controls are at the very bottom of the screen, the side menu constantly pops up as I’m trying to use the controls.
This has always been a really fun game to play. It is a great challenge even for adults. The problem is that every time I try to touch something at the bottom of my screen, the game pauses because it thinks I am trying to close the ap. I don’t know if it is because I have big fingers, or if it is strictly an iPhone problem, but it is really annoying.
I like the game, but like other reviewers, I can’t get past level 9-4 because the game hasn’t been formatted to accommodate newer iPhones without home buttons. On 9-4, the player must slide a water spout at the bottom of the screen. This is not possible on newer iPhones because touching the bottom of the screen is a command for the phone, to switch between apps. Hope to see a fix for this in the future, or at least a warning about the game being incompatible with new phones.
This game is probably one of my favorites of all time, a fond memory I look back to when I used to play it. Except the fact that even after you buy the game you have to purchase even more things, such as the other duck-levels. Back when I downloaded this game, it was free and those were additional purchases but now the price went up and if you purchase the game those levels should be free .
I love this game and I have been playing it for a very very long time. But it's not friendly with the new iPhone X. A lot of the levels I can’t get through because the controls are at the bottom and it always pauses the game or closes the app which is a pain. Hopefully something can be done.
This, along with Angry Birds, Candy Crush, and Cut The Rope, are the defining definitions of the army days of mobile gaming. This game is a childhood classic for me, and a mobile game that I’m sure everyone remembers. And it’s refreshing to see that Disney is still fixing minor bugs in this game, even years after it’s release. Play on, everyone. Play on.
I’ve been in love with this game and just re-downloaded the app on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. It needs to be optimized for the new iPhones that don’t have a home screen button and instead use the bottom of the screen to exit/switch apps. All the levels leave excess space on the top rather than bottom and cause you to constantly switch/exit the game and pause the game consequently. A quick fix to solve this is just move the section of gameplay towards the top/middle rather than having it as bottom as possible. Other than that, this is hands down THE best game on the App Store.
I played this game when I was younger and loved it, so I decided to redownload it. However, having an iPhone XR now, a lot of the levels are darn near impossible to play because some of the things I need to tap and interact with are too close to the bottom of the screen and my phone thinks I’m trying to exit the app. Perhaps if there was a setting I could adjust to shrink the playing field so it wasn’t edge-to-edge on my screen?
I used to play this as a child when it was free and it was amazing. Not too long ago I saw my friend play and I was like “OMG I haven’t see. That I’m forever” and get informed that you have to pay which I did and my goodness ,my childhood memories are coming back too me
I used to play this on my iPad all the time and it was my favorite game. Lately I’ve been trying to play on my iPhone and if I need to restart the level or go to the menu I have to tap my screen over and over again because the buttons are barely responsive. I now can’t finish a level because I can’t get the cloud/water spout to change in time. If I could play this on an iPad I would love it but I think I’m going to call it a day.
Swampy is supposed to mope if you don’t collect the mystery duck mega and don’t collect the ducklings or if you don’t collect all the ducklings and everything else is correct except the mystery duck like before if you don’t collect the mystery duck mega duck and if you don’t collect or don’t collect all the ducklings
I've been playing this game for years. I just upgraded to an iPhone 12 mini and I decided to revisit this game. Manipulating elements at the edge of the screen is difficult. I'm pretty sure it's not just my phone. Maybe if I could zoom out a bit it'd be easier.
I've had no issues with the app (though I do still use home buttons) and I'm generally impressed by the hundreds of creative puzzles, which actually seem to follow physics practically perfectly. This is good for any age.
Love the game but my one beef so far is level 7-12. One the newer iPhones you swipe from the bottom to go to the Home Screen. So I can’t switch the water. Making the level impossible. Please move it up. Thank!
I’ve been playing where’s my water for the longest time! It never fails to entertain while challenging my thought process! It’s exciting, fun, and sometimes frustrating... but that’s the best part! I highly recommend this game to anyone- I even got my mom hooked on playing it :)

This was one of my games from when I was really young and it brings back so many good memories I definitely recommend this game like 100% recommended for long car rides or any kind of trip.
This game is actually fun. It has a simple design and just the nostalgia which makes the game way better. I would recommend if you somehow never played this before.
I finish and reset this game to start all over again at least a few times a year. It’s fun and sometimes challenging and relaxing. I wish there were more iterations than the original and WMW2!
Growing up, I was very fortunate for my parents for getting my brother and I an IPad 2. Now looking back at the advancement made within both my life and in the virtual industry, it is refreshing to return to the classic games of my childhood, which this game is surely.
This is the best game and I wish they would make the third version! I’m not much into games because I’m just extremely picky but the Water 1 and 2 games are so awesome that I’m replaying them . There’s really no comparable
I just love this game. They have a second one that came out that wasn’t as good. Wish they would come out with more like this one. It’s something I would definitely pay for.
This game is very nostalgic to me as I played it years ago on an iPhone 4, however the buttons and taps and things on the corners or bottom of the screen always pause the game and it becomes nearly unplayable. The cutscenes were obviously for smaller phones as they’re extremely low quality. This is an amazing game but please update it!
This a great game, mostly satisfying, but occasionally frustrating when the tasks are too challenging. Some are tough to do on my iPhone, because touching the lower part of the screen often causes the program to pause. But overall I strongly recommend this.
This game is really fun but needs a update for iPhone X users whenever u have to do something either on the side (slide the water towards the left) or sometimes you can’t even play the level because a button u have to press or something u have to movie is unavailable since that’s where the iPhone Xs “home button”
The “swipe up” feature of iPhones make many of the levels nearly unplayable. You have to swipe and touch the bottom middle of the screen, which triggers the “close app” or “change app” signals to iPhone, preventing you from interacting with the game
I love this app but some levels don’t work with the iPhone XR or 11. Any phone with no home button won’t let you touch the bottom of the screen without pausing the game. For example level 7-13
I love this game and have loved it since I was a kid playing on my grandmas kindle switching off with my cousin. I redownload every couple of years just to replay all the levels.. I LOVE THIS GAME!! It’s amazing in every aspect plus no ads
With the iPhone 11 in particular, this game is almost difficult to play because of the “swipe up” feature as opposed to the home button in previous iPhone versions. When trying to play this causes many issues because I keep getting rerouted to the man page.
For child and adult alike this game is extremely entertaining and addicting. Challenging enough to keep you interested but easy enough to not get frustrated. Add that the graphics, game play and fun characters and you've got a big winner.
This was an amazing game that was ruined by greed. To get from one level to another you used to be able to watch videos, thus earning revenue for Disney, and that was fine. I was happy to commercially support Disney for this great game. Good plan. Apparently that was not enough for the House of Mickey though. They now require you to pay for new levels. Every new level is sold at .99. Don't waste you time or money on this. Sad really.
