No Face ID
Very disappointed, the app doesn’t have Face ID capability, and doesn’t work with password management to store ID and password. Makes signing in cumbersome and slow. Very inconvenient if you’re in a hurry and need to check account balances. App works fine once signed in though, but please give Face ID capability or allow the iPhone to fill information in automatically

Terrible app features
I’ve been a member since 2000 but this app has me wanting to pull all my money out and switch to a new bank. Transferring money is impossible even if it’s a transfer from your rewards to your savings…. It never works. The old app was great! I never had a problem with it. This new app has little to no options where as before I could do everything I needed to without a phone call or in person visit. (Which is huge for someone who doesn’t live it the state anymore). Overall it’s a terrible app. If I could leave less than 1 star I would.

This bank really turned for the worse.
I literally closed my account and left this bank due to its switch to this terrible app. Less features than before. The amounts in my accounts were not ever accurate (how are you to bank of you don’t know what’s in your account). A less user friendly log-in and user experience. Clearly, no one consulted any members to see what they needed in a new app. I gave them 4 months to address anything on there, most specifically the incorrect banking amounts. They did not. When I asked to close my accounts, they informed me there was still a 5$ balance to be paid on my credit card…. Which had been paid off and showed a zero balance in all statements (online & paper) for 4 months. They told me it was an interest charge. On what? There wasn’t a balance to charge interest on??? It was so bad, I left this bank after 20 years. I advise you do the same.

Wildfire CU
I have been with Wildfire Credit Union since they were in Flint maybe in 1973? Love them. Always available when I have questions, easy to transfer money, easy to deposit checks, and credit card o Is always on spot notifying me if they suspect fraud. Love my credit union!

Awful!
This new app is terrible. The old app was so much better! You used to be able to transfer money from one account to another and have it happen immediately. Now it takes AT LEAST one day if not more for the transfer to take place! Don’t even get me started on the so called security measures that make it almost impossible for both members of the same account to be able to log into the account electronically!

I miss the old app
I can’t even see my pending transactions and I also use to see my paychecks pending into my account and now I can’t anymore. Also, I hate how when money is taken out of my account and it doesn’t even update it to the correct amount on what’s left in my checking. I have to literally restart the app to see the correct amount left but even that doesn’t work sometimes. Make this app better!!!

Horrible app
I’ve been using wildfire for about 20 years and this app makes me want to choose another place to bank with. I’ve moved most my family to wildfire and conveniently could INSTANTLY transfer money between accounts. Now it takes 2 to 5 days and half the time the money gets sent back to my own account. If this does not get fixed I will be taking my business elsewhere and I know my household will follow.

Why??!!
Why change it!? My card has been compromised and I can’t even lock my card now till the morning! I feel like this was attempted before and it wasn’t great at all. I am so upset that I can’t do anything with my account and freeze my OWN card to not loss money!

Nothing like being forced into new digital plus system that has failed to improve over 4 years. This must be the developers first attempt at UX as this is horrible.

(UPDATE)
UPDATE: I deleted the app, went back to the Wildfire website and started the enroll process over again and then re-installed the app. It now works!!! I like the layout and it seems much more user friendly then the last app. It was a long time coming, but I think you guys did better. I would like to see a change with the loans part. I have a car loan through Wildfire and when you go into the “move money” to the transfer a payment to it, it would be nice if it would indicate what you owe. I don’t always remember the payment amount and end up having to close out of the transfer screen to go look at the loan details before I enter the amount to transfer. Just a little helpful tip. Thank you.

Some how worse than the last version
I was excited to see a new app coming out because the previous one was horrible. You were in a position that I felt you already had the worst banking app out there so you can only go up from there. Somehow you put out a new version that requires you to completely set up a new account making the process painful and time consuming because it doesn’t work but when you are actually able to log in again it’s worse than before. I guess props on, when you do actually get the app to log in, it loads a lot quicker than the last one, but it doesn’t have the most up to date information. It doesn’t show pending transactions unless you let it sit and refresh for about 15 minutes. Even then it doesn’t happen every time. It’s 2022 how do you not have real time transactions displayed in the account?

New banking app
Worst app ever! When I switched over to the new app I couldn’t even get into it cause it was such a hassle. Said my information was wrong multiple times even after making a new account. Now that I FINALLY got into the app after several tries, it takes forever to load and half the time it doesn’t complete the requests I have done to transfer money or anything. The amount in my account is wrong and doesn’t ever update. The very first day I had the app it said that any transactions couldn’t be processed because there was something wrong. The old app would crash a lot but I kinda wish we didn’t have to switch cause I would rather deal with the app crashing then not be able to know how much money I have in my account or be able to pay my bills!

App is no better
I try to log into the app and it opens but after logging in the app just closes. I tried it quite a few times and it did the same thing. I turned wifi on and off and the same thing. Also when i log in it doesnt sure the correct amount it doesn’t deduct pending transaction like the previous app does. It shows the transaction but does reflect on balance. I can go into account and come back to main page and ask pending transactions are gone then and added to my account. I was excited to get a new mobile banking app but I’m still having the same issues as before which is I cant get into my account. Isn’t that the reason for mobile banking?

app doesn’t work
Old app has been telling me I need to make the switch to this new one for weeks. Finally gave in. Created the new account on their website, downloaded the app and logged in. App says everything is good, push “Let’s get started.” Click okay and it says there’s an error. Tries again, still an error. Try to ex out in the upper left, STILL an error. The old app wasn’t great to begin with, but at least it worked. This one, you can’t even get in. Maybe we should be making sure the new app even functions properly before pressuring users to download it. Seems to have been an ongoing problem for weeks based on other reviews also. Definitely not impressed.

Can’t log in
I’m one that doesn’t like when things change that worked. There where a few glitches on the old system but why not fix that instead of creating a new one that you cannot log into on the mobile app. I created a login online, don’t really like the change but after not being able to log in on the app I’m frustrated! I think someone is trying to justify having a job by creating new systems and new problems. Very disappointed as I am a big wildfire fan and supporter, I’ve told lots of people to take their business here as they are great to small businesses. But now I’m thinking about other banking solutions

Unable to log in
I completed all the info on the website then downloaded the app and logged in. I was sent the one-time passcode, entered that then received a success message. From that point, I could either click the X on the top left of the screen or “Let’s Get Started” button. I tried them both one at a time and received a “Something went wrong” error. I force closed then re-opened the app and tried to log in. I received the same error after attempting multiple times and was never able to log back in. Hoping the bugs can get worked out in this app so customers can actually use it.

Can’t access
I don’t mean to sound redundant but this app is unusable. Firstly, I registered on the website first, am connected to WiFi and did everything correctly. When trying to log in an error message pops up that says “something went wrong. There was an error please try again later.” Seeing that others are having the same or similar issues it sounds like an issue on the developer side. Would love to see this fixed before we lose access to the old app. Otherwise I think I may use this as an opportunity to test the waters with a new credit union and make a switch.

I have complained so much in the beginning about the new app that since the bugs have been worked out, I thought I should say that it is working well now. Still have to go to main website to get statements but the digital + app works to do bill pay, check accounts, transfer, etc.

Really Wildfire?
Two days until the other app goes away and still can’t log into the new one at all. Have tried to enter my user/pass multiple times only to be greeted with an error that it’s incorrect even though I have entered it in exactly as it is on the other app…I don’t know if I have to call my local bank or something for approval but I don’t understand this change but it will be a huge pain if I no longer have the app to use for managing funds since I don’t have access to a computer atm…please just let me log in or keep the old app running…

Terrible
I really dislike the new app. I didn’t want to leave the old one, but I kept being pestered to make a new account. This one barely works. There is a delay when transferring money so your balance doesn’t reflect accurately for a few minutes. I can’t see a pending check deposit. And now the app flat out won’t open and crashes whenever I try to login. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled and still the same problem. I hope these issues get resolved soon. I’d at least like to be able To use the app.

Terrible all around
Can’t stand this “new app” for Wildfire. Glitches out every single time I open it and try go log in. Doesn’t give me nearly as much information as the old app did and you can’t find anything besides your balance, the card you use, and that’s it. I don’t understand why they needed to do a whole new app instead of just updating the other one to include being able to see pending transactions. (Seeing your pending transactions is the ONLY positive to this app).

Clunky and makes me miss the old app
I’ve been using the new app for about a month and so far it’s been down or not updating information more than it’s worked. I have no desire to see old closed accounts. They should be able to be hidden, or simply not there. Hoping to see an update that addresses the issues it has soon, I like my bank, but this makes me want to switch to a bank that allows me to use a mobile app without a headache.

Didn’t think the app could get worse.
I would rate this less than one star. Lost many features of the already bad app. Most importantly the ability to transfer funds between business and personal accounts. I have to have multiple different logins now. Thanks for making things more difficult. I will probably move banks just because of this.

Doesn’t even deserve a star. Enrolled online and downloaded app on my iPhone (which is literally a month old )and it tells me log in information is incorrect I tried twice more then used the digital+ on the website and it works fine. Figure it out seriously kind of hard if this is your business account.

UPDATE 1/22 This app is still horrible and only works 25% of the time. I’ve tried numerous times to log on and the app keeps telling me something went wrong. I deleted the app and reinstalled the app hoping that that would fix the problem. No luck. How am I supposed to access my account if I can’t access the new and improved app that doesn’t work? PLEASE FIX THE BUGS IN YOUR APP!

Frustrating
When I sign in the amounts it shows in my accounts are not accurate. When I move money between my accounts it also doesn’t not show until I sign out at least twice. I have to sign in several times before it updates. I would much rather have the old app back. The new app needs work.

I’ve gone through the process putting in my information downloaded the app off the website and still can’t actually log in. Sends the passcode, put it in and it takes me back to the main log in page but doesn’t let me log in. Not happy with this.

Can’t even log in?
I enrolled in the new app with a new user and password, and as soon as it says “let’s get started” immediately it says “error”. This app should be at least functional and completed before pressuring users to “make the switch!” Hopefully it’s fixed by January 13th or we’ll be without an app to use.

Disappointing
A new/updated app was needed. The first day looking through this new app it seemed nice ne modern, more user friendly. But now I can’t even login. The app crashes before allowing me to log in. So there’s no way for me to see any of my information. I hope they have an update soon that fixes the issue.

Many problems with access and have deleted app and reinstalled 3 times! Correct Password does not work and can’t reset. Only call someone to hopefully help. The layout is vey confusing and not able to see everything at a glance anymore.

Pretty Bad
Ugh, Wildfire…This app is so glitchy. At least the last one worked the majority of the time. This one behaves like a virus you just accidentally installed onto your cellphone. Please sink some money into your tech and correct this. So many institutions have nailed the mobile app.
