Crashing…
The game is so unique and stylizied which I love. Especially the comic book story mechanic and the highly animated characters. But I literally had to redo the first rally commission 4 times because it kept crashing. My graphics settings are relatively low as well so I don’t even know why it’s happening. Hopefully it’ll be fixed considering this is only the first few days of release. Otherwise no problems for me! Awesome game, looking forward to new in-game events. Update: it didn’t get fixed. And comparatively speaking, I’ve played all of Hoyo’s other RPG games including Hi3, Hsr, and GIn and ZZZ feels like a combination between all 3 which isn’t all that bad. however I didn’t feel the same incentive to play zzz as I did the other games (given I dropped Hi3 within months) something in zzz is just missing and I can’t really explain what. The stylized aspects of the game still hold up but aside from the combat the world feels pretty empty and somewhat boring when you aren’t fighting in the hollows. Same thing with incentive I don’t have a reason to keep coming back everyday to play or grind because like the comic book stories zzz feels kind of 2D and flat. Looking forward to improvements!

Amazing game!~
I’ve played Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and Wuthering Waves. Zenless Zone Zero has to be my second favorite. People rate this game 1* mainly because they’re mad or something. ZZZ is a very good game overall. When I saw 3.7* as the overall review I was amazed. Like, why? Storage would be the main reason but just play on a different device! The character designs are so pretty! My game runs smoothly so that’s another reason why I love it. I love that there are combos to attacking. Even though Bella nor Wise can fight, that’s not really a problem. Different characters mean different move sets. A lot of people just play for the free pulls. I did too but realized this game was so much more! I don’t pay attention to that stuff at all! To me, it’s an absolutely great game. But you can’t change another person’s point of view. “No matter how hard you try to understand other people’s hearts, people aren’t able to change others. Every time, you have to change yourself.” (If you know the reference you know) If you’re mad about the amount of pulls you don’t get, character designs, gameplay, or any other thing, stay mad. ZZZ is a great game, just like the others. When I first saw the trailer, I was like, “There’s gonna be a new Hoyo game?! Eh… Should I get it?” The only reason why I started to play, because of that one Billy add. Anyways, peace!

One of the Best RPGs I’ve Ever Played
When the game released, it was all I could ever play. I played it for hours and hours everyday because of how fun it was. There’s plenty to do in this game, I guarantee you won’t run out of something to do whether delving deep into hollows or doing things for a cat mascot. The fast paced combat can feel so satisfying as you build up combos and switch from character to character. The game may feel easy in the beginning but, trust me, it WILL get harder especially with Hollow Zero. The animation is so good and fluid that it feels like an old cartoon on crack and the comic style cutscenes just hit right. The voice acting is top-tier, no questions asked. Although, there are some flaws as nothing is perfect. If you’re playing on mobile, I wouldn’t bother with the arcade because the controls don’t feel very good and my fat fingers are always pressing the wrong input. The game sometime crashes on me and kicks me right back to home page, no warnings, but that could just be my device. The intermission chapters feel like a slog of nothing, they could try to do something like Dainslief where it talks about lore of the world (really want to know what the hollows are and how they came to be). This game is one of the best I’ve ever played and I could play it for hours, it’s worth any amount of space it takes, trust me.

The undeserved hate that this gets is wild
I’ve played this game for several hours and I honestly don’t know why people are already hating on this game. People have been complaining about how the game takes up too much space from the get go, but what can you expect when the graphics and animation are as good as they are. This leads into my next point on how people complain about the art style and animation. The animation in fluid and adds character to each scene, and if you don’t like the style, then why play in the first place (you’ve known what the animation would be like, the trailers and leaks have been out for ages now). And finally, people whine over how most of the game is dialogue and that it gets boring, but how can we say that when we are blessed to even have a skip button (yes, I’m prolly firing shots at hsr and genshin). It’s really no diff from any other hoyoverse game. All in all, this game is exceptional in my eyes, and I just don’t understand why people hate on it already (don’t whine about storage, genshin literally takes up like half ur phone). I would also like to call out the people that say this game is a snooze fest. The game literally has a skip button, so stop complaining about how it’s all talk, no game, when every other hoyo game doesn’t have a skip.

Love the Characters, Love the Worldbuilding, but I don’t like the game design
Hoyoverse is very skilled when it comes to its world building and character designs, and this game doesn’t disappoint in this respect. This game’s design language and characters are beautifully designed, animated, and voiced. If this was an animated series it would get a pass with glowing reviews. However this is a game, and as such it must be fun and easy to understand for the player to interact with its world. Unfortunately I think Hoyoverse fell short in its design for this game. The UI design was my biggest gripe. I felt so lost navigating so many menus and buttons for simple tasks like upgrading characters. There’s just too many buttons and elements that bog it down and it’s just confusing to use. Another problem for me is the gameplay loop. Combat itself is extremely fun, albeit a bit “button mashy”, with your characters using beautifully animated attack sequences and satisfying parry/ combo mechanics. However the TV exploration mode absolutely killed the fun for me. It completely broke immersion after fun and high octane battle gameplay. Don’t get me wrong, this game is beautifully made, designed, and well polished but the gameplay and game design has dragged it down unfortunately. I love hoyoverse’s creativity and their products, but unfortunately this one fell short after so much hype.

Amazing ride, blunted by endgame woes
This game feels incredible to play and runs beautifully on my 5th gen iPad, but once you finish the campaign you run into problems. Even if you pay money, you get to a point where, after 10 minutes of gameplay, you have nothing left to do that rewards you with any resources. The rouge-like mode stops awarding you with anything other than a handful of ancillary currency after you beat it a few times. That is a weekly cap. There are no other game modes that reward you with ANY resources once you beat them for the first time, so you’re forced to quit the game. Essentially, you log in, spend ten minutes spending your battery (an hour, tops, if you’re willing to spend $10 per day), then you quit. And let me be clear: I have spent about $40 on the game so far and I have enjoyed what I’ve played, but I’m at the point where there is nothing for me to do. There is no content I can play that gives me any rewards, so I have to quit the game and wait until tomorrow. This has really soured the experience for me, especially as a paying customer. Be warned: do not pay money for this game expecting it to reward you down the line. You are paying to play less of the game, not more. If I hadn’t paid any money, it would have taken me longer to beat the end-game content and I would have more gameplay to get through right now. Not good.

Very great game
Zenless Zone Zero is an absolute masterpiece! From the moment I started playing, I was captivated by its stunning visuals and unique cyberpunk aesthetic. The art direction is top-notch, and the world feels alive with its vibrant colors and futuristic cityscapes. The character designs are equally impressive, with each one brimming with personality. Gameplay-wise, it's incredibly smooth and engaging. The combat system is fast-paced and fluid, with a perfect balance of strategy and action. I love the variety of characters and their unique abilities, which makes every battle feel fresh and exciting. The gacha system feels fair, and I appreciate how generous the game is with rewards and progression. The story is intriguing, blending mystery, action, and a touch of humor. The voice acting and music are superb, adding depth to an already immersive experience. Whether you're a fan of action games or just looking for something visually stunning with great gameplay, Zenless Zone Zero delivers on every front. Overall, it's a must-play for any gamer who enjoys action-packed RPGs with a rich narrative and beautiful design. Highly recommended! Also people are mad down bad for saying gooner game. Do people really do that type of thing?

As Of (1.0) Fun Game To Play Casually
I personally really enjoy the games simplicity. There are some gameplay moments that are really dragged out but overall I enjoy the simple gameplay. This is one of those games for me that is something easy to pickup and play especially when you don’t have a lot of time in the day to invest into a game. I understand there are some who don’t like this game for the TV segments but I really don’t mind it. It’s unique and does a great job at playing a role in the story telling instead of it just being a simple puzzle segment. This will be one of my games to play when I just wanna relax and actually enjoy a game instead of try harding. The animated cutscenes and voice acting really stand out and is amazing. I love the expressiveness in the voices, animation, and the style of the game. The game also gives me some nostalgia of how Honkai Impact 3rd was when it first released. When it first released it was a very simple button mash fighter similar to how this game is now as of (1.0). Maybe it’ll become more complex just like how Honkai Impact 3rd’s gameplay ended up becoming with newer Valkyries and mechanics. Excited to see where this game goes!

Great game, misleading marketing
This game is (in my opinion) one of the best gacha games on the market right now. It’s not trying to be anything else, and the story is really well done. I will however point out, the main beats of the marketing is the Gacha aspect; always advertising “Free Pulls when you download from this video” yet that does not happen. I’m not sure how they can get away with the blatantly misleading advertising, as any average consumer will watch an ad and assume “When I download this game from this video I will be able to draw X amount of characters for free.” Which is never the case. This game should be advertising its amazing combat and beautiful art design. I love the advertisements that show off new characters, like the shark maid one that is currently in the rotation for pulls; as the advertisements for this character are exceptionally well made, with great voice acting and animation to boot. I can’t wait to see the future of this game, and I feel if they shift their marketing to try to attract consumers on other platforms such as PC and Console then they will develope a more hardcore player base.

Why the hate?
I personally was not looking forward to this game when it was first announced solely because it wasn’t open-world, and that’s what I was used to with Hoyoverse’s other game, Genshin Impact.🤔 But I eventually got hooked by the fast-paced combat and different aesthetic.😚 It reminds me of Splatoon, and I’ve heard it’s similar to the world of Persona, though I’ve never played any of the games (I’ve seen clips of gameplay but don’t really know any characters or story details etc). I totally get if you’re more into the fantasy-type arc and whatnot,🙂‍↕️ but this game is personally a nice change of pace and I don’t get the hate.🤷‍♀️ Rewards are generous, there’s plenty to do if you don’t rush through the story (y’all 1.1 was released today, you shouldn’t be rushing so much), and the details in the world, cutscenes, animations, etc are so expressive and vibrant I just love it.🤩 So personally, I will continue with the game and will continue to enjoy it. Y’all can have your opinions but if you’re hating just because you hate Hoyoverse or just because it’s not Genshin or HSR, then you need to play the game first. 🤠

Please let me have good things
Five stars if we get an outfit like the one for that one R&B event for that one pretty lady character (black and red hair and a grey green jacket) Anyway, as a loyal player of Hoyoverse games, this is their worst game yet. Like, I’ve played honkai impact, honkai star rail, genshin, and that one otome game (I forgot the name) but, i’ll be honest, it’s trash. the character designs do not look anything like the art. I felt completely robbed when the character I was looking forward to did not even look remotely close to the art that was made of her. All of the designs feel rushed with no actual thought. Like a rip off hatsune miku? Come on. Like, let me have good things in life fr! Animation is 10/10. Love the way they are animated. At the beginning you are thrown into the storyline and it feels so…confusing. It’s hard to explain. The comic panels part is a cool touch but I get real bored of it. It feels like it’s going too slow and needs a little more pace. In all honesty, I made this review because I felt robbed by the character designs and storyline. This game isn’t as cool as their other games. So many characters have so much potential to have good designs yet, they end upwith ones that are completely MID. Fix this 😡

Iffy start, but stick with it.
I’ll keep this review short for all the zoomers that might see this. This game is pretty dang fun, has absolutely clean animations, some witty dialogue, persona style social simulators, decent puzzles, fun and extremely fluid combat, and a great story. But you have to be patient. You won’t just have access to these features right away, heck I probably played for 6-8 hours before I unlocked the ability to do my dailies and use my energy resource. When you start getting an idea of how the combat system works, it’s incredibly fun to play around with, but you have to just stick with the characters the game gives you for quite a bit of time. As you can see, there’s quite a lot of 1-star reviews, and it’s another movement from the community to cry and soil themselves to try and make a change, probably to boycott another game if I’m being honest. My final tip is also to try to avoid engaging with the community in earnest. Lots of weird internet drama in these groups if you let yourself get sucked up in it. Hope you enjoy the game!

No Signal
For myself, zzz is a delightfully fragmented game. The action based combat is visual treat and exciting to play, but the moments are short lived in comparison to everything else the game asks of you. While enjoyable in their own right, mechanics outside of combat feel disconnected from character collection - which arguably is the foundation of the game. The game compartmentalizes itself between modest exploration, combat, and a ‘mini-game-esque’ mode (the TV system) which is given far too much prominence imo. For all of the effort of acquiring and building characters, there is little return outside of combat. Stronger character integration across game modes may reflect the efforts of player’s investment and time. While I don’t mind the TV system, diversifying the way story exploration is presented and balancing the amount of time it requires compared to other areas of the game would go a long way to increase my enjoyment. As it stands, time with acquired characters is minimal as they have no role outside of combat - and time in combat is gated behind an energy system or the tv system. A stronger focus on combat and city exploration is my hope for the future of an otherwise incredible game.

Based on what I’ve seen, great game.
I love the style for the game and I play every Hoyoverse game beside Tears of Themesis. I love the characters design and the word play I’ve seen too, atleast in videos. I decided to try it out but I can’t register for some reason. I enter my email, do the Captcha and agree to the Terms of Service. But when I click next it tells me “Too many requests. Please try again later.” In which, I have. I’ve waited to get back on and try again for a while. But it gives me the same exact message every time. I’m not sure what to do about it, searching up anything doesn’t exactly help either. I’ve also made sure I’ve had stable internet too, so I’m going to just wait until tomorrow to see what it says. Besides that fact, the game is amazing and the designs are stellar. I’ve been watching tons of videos on it and my friend showed my some of his gameplay as well. If you’re looking at this to see if you should download it, you should. (Just hopefully don’t get into my situation.) P.S. I apologise for any misspellings! I’m young xd

I honestly expected better from HOYO, although it is a new game…
I have been a HOYO verse game fan for years now my favorite game from them being honkai star rail. That was why I was very excited when they released a new game zzz. But the game was not what I expected at all. The other games, genshin impact and honkai Star rail both have combat mcs while zzz’s mc cannot be played in combat and can only be used to select characters to talk to. Another thing is that in other HOYO games there is usually a bar at the side to click when talking to a character. In zzz, the user has to physical make sure that the arrows are pointing to the character’s name. Then they can select the character to talk to. I find that to be very confusing. It is kind of like playing on a switch. Also, despite the game being new, it already takes up more than 20 gigabytes of storage making it even bigger than withering waves which is already on its 1.1 update. I play lots of multiple games similar to the ones that HOYO makes, so those 20 gigabytes really takes a toll on my storage. I find the characters of zzz to lack personality and uniqueness in designs, especially the male mc. I do understand that this is a new game and it needs time to develop. But for now, I might just stick to hsr and WuWa.

That’s it for me
I gotta be honest: I wanted to love this game. Hopped on from day 1 and it was just mid right from the start. Characters were all a bunch of lolis and furrybait, like who is this game for Hoyo? PDF files? It’s just weird man… but OK I tried to ignore the weird children characters with scanty clothing, and all the furries, ending up with a crappy team but at least I’m not cringing anymore while playing. But then events come by, I finished chapter 1… 2… some part of 3, and it’s just bad the whole time. I mean the whole time time I’m just waiting for the game to get good. Combat is super simple button mashing dodge spamming with QTEs. The TV exploration is straight up PAINFUL to go through even with fast forward mode turned on. Characters, aside from their super cringy design, are also boring or annoyingly cartoony. The pity for rolls is somehow EVEN WORSE than other Hoyo games? Sorry but I’m not paying for this garbage, and the F2P currency gains are awfully low. I mean good luck rolling a good character unless you pay for this (seek help, friend). I’m tired and frankly, I’m done. Maybe completely done with Hoyo. With Wuthering Waves out with god tier combat and good (and not creepy) character designs, fun exploration, etc this just feels like a waste of time. Uninstalled, peace.

Like the game, but game keeps crashing and I can’t progress
Like the game, but game keeps crashing after the Belobog industries scene where the creature absorbs the machines after the “seal” is broken I’ve attempted skipping and just rewatching multiple times, but it always crashes at that same spot and so I can not progress in the game There are cats, I only just started playing this but there’s a part where you get to pet a little black cat with mittens. 5 stars. The gameplay itself is repetitive for the most part. There are a few story and exploration commissions that are a bit different, but there isn’t too much variety. I don’t really focus on the story, but it’s fine in my opinion. That being said, I enjoy how easy it is and the repetitive nature allows me to actually do the main thing I enjoy doing in the game - fighting and exploring the different playable characters! I joined for Ellen and I really just enjoy seeing how each of the characters move in fighting, regular play, and cutscenes.

Nah its not fun
you want the real the truth behind this game. take it from someone who has tried all three of their biggest release’s in the last 4 years. that includes genshin, star rail, and now zzz. the real issue is the publisher (hoyoverse, mihoyo) themselfs. they bot views on twitch. they false advertise products. they promise alot of rewards. but those rewards are subpar. zzz is no exception. they promise 180 pulls. but in my two days of playing up until the lockout at level 16. id say i have around 60 pulls. i think the real issue no one talks about is the censorship. nicole and belle. having there models changed after closed beta 2. do you like safety pants ? and white spats ? this is the company for you. do you want a more refined experience, go play wuthering waves from kuro. they know combat way better. and trust me, parrying and dodging in this game is not as fluid as what wuthering has to offer. yeah im done with hoyoverse products. ban me if you want hoyoverse. but its the truth. dont like the truth ? delete my review. i will screencap this just to prove i called you out. if you see a guy named Geoff Keighley advertising these games. its over, what hope you had for a good product goes out the window.

My opinion of ZZZ
Overall for me, the gameplay is fun and I love the art style and overall npc’s have like more lifelike in them. Combat is fun and it gave me somewhat of a fighting game back then with its retro style. Environment, very pretty and beautiful, characters/Npc’s love the design and animation they have. I understand some people were expecting ZZZ to have open world mechanic like genshin or somewhat to star rail’s but it’s limited. The story, yes it’s long with quest after quest but that’s the hole lore of it. Sometimes people get impatient or bored because they expecting a top notch game to be popular like genshin when first release because you start a quest then come back to it when you feel like it. But really, it’s a hoyoverse game and your gonna experience a visual novel in any hoyoverse game yet people still try em out. All I can say is people like to bring games down because they was “expecting” more and they get let down. Really you don’t have to play a hoyoverse game if you gonna be disappointed lol.

Good game-Horrible reviews
So people are complaining about the animation style. It’s..been like that? You KNEW it would be like that? Why’re you complaining???? Then they’re complaining about the gameplay as if it’s not similar to HI3rd. Also the “blackface” people complain about..is a penguin. Not blackface it’s a literal penguin that people claim is blackface bc apparently if you have a penguin and the company is known for racism it’s automatically racist. Also stop review bombing the game just bc you’re being a baby over another game. They are most definitely run by a different team. Genshin and ZZZ r run by different people so it’s just stupid to complain. How about you complain on the official page of Genshin? Why risk a new game’s success because of another game? Just complain about the game with racism. Until there’s actually shown racism in ZZZ, which there hasn’t been yet, don’t review bomb about racism. The gameplay is unique and I love the story/character designs minus all the fanservice.

Great game! Just a few problems
This game is just amazing, the combat system is really cool and so are the character designs. The areas like Sixth street and Lumina Square looks so good and I love that there’s a lot of challenges/commissions that are given to you to complete as you search around the areas so you can level up more quicker. Overall, this has got to be one the most addicting games I’ve ever played. However, there’s just a few issues. Firstly, the amount of storage this game takes up is insane. My iPad 8th Generation has 256GB while this game takes up about 24.7 GB and it’s only the first version installed. The game just keeps slowing down and crashing and kicks me out every like 30 minutes and sometimes even after I just logged in. I downloaded this on my iPhone 14 and the game just doesn’t run smoothly and instead slows down because of the amount of storage it takes up. I personally don’t think that this is a mobile friendly game.

Anything below a three is crazy ‼️‼️
This game has amazing graphics, tops any other Hoyoverse game in that regard. The gameplay is fun and immersive, the storyline is fun and not crazy complex. It’s retro, it’s fun, it’s beautiful. It has elements that are only events in other Hoyo games. The agents are well designed and fit in the world. It seems more realistic, you can find them around the maps and gain friendship from talking to them. The bouncy animation is so fluid and bubbly, it’s a joy to watch as an artist and I’m always mesmerized by each cutscene. The game is also generous and if you’d think another Hoyo games with gacha is boring, it’s not!! Surprisingly, they keep things interesting in the game with it. It’s not crazy stingy like Genshin, but not crazy generous like HSR where it feels like you aren’t working for it and it gets generic and boring. My honest opinion is this game could be hit or miss with anyone, but to me it’s super fun and worth at least a try. I love it!! 💗

WHY IS EVERYTHING PITCH BLACK
I downloaded this game because I wanna try. I thought it’ll be a game like Genshin because I love Genshin Impact was playing then it said oh yeah you also have to delete some games and like OK yeah cause my storage has a lot of things so I don’t need some things and I was perfect to go then guess what the holy tire game turns pitch black I can’t even see the screen, little bit of character design I gonna play this game if it’s fully pitch black, and I can only see the character some green lights from the monster, but I couldn’t even see the whole room for the boss wide. I can’t even see anything in this game, this is the most lowest game I do not suggest but if it does work for you then good but still download the game because you know I don’t really care. Read it if you want to, but still the whole screen is black and when I when I started playing guess what the story mode was black too I didn’t lie about the whole entire but still why the heck is the whole screen black I mean, I can see that I can see the old team the dash the special attack and the fist and that’s all I see but guess what I don’t see a scream, just a black screen, and

Pros and cons <3
I throughly enjoy this game but there are many issues especially with the advertising. The advertising was very misleading especially with the 100 free pulls. To get the free pulls you have to grind and that takes time that some people don’t have. BUT the animations is absolutely breathtaking and the combat is super clean and fun! With the puzzles (aka the tvs) can be challenging and they definitely aren’t for everyone, but be prepared to do a lot of puzzles. I actually do like the puzzles cause it makes you have to think. I think the puzzle mechanics are very cool and the concept is honestly super smart. But like a said before, not everyone is gonna like the puzzles especially if your impatient or easily annoyed. The Gacha system is about the same as honkai star rails so you know what to expect if you play star rail. I like Gacha so this is an immediate pro for me! Anyway if you read this hole thing the dang your persistent but thank you anyway!

soo addicting but randomly crashes
The storyline is interesting and fun, getting S ranks is really easy. The soundtrack is really good, I could fall asleep listening to it, the character designs are so detailed and clean, the gameplay is smooth, and it saves your progress from where you left off so you dont have to restart, I can tell the developers put a lot of effort into ZZZ, and the developers are really generous! Even the loading screen is interesting to watch! I experienced a few bugs though, like my game crashes when I get to the boss fight on a commission, which is annoying so I cant progress. some of the characters clipping through things, like Cori, when she stops moving, her knee goes through her dress, which is unnatural and when Im running around as Belle, theres like cloth on the floor and her legs get clipped into it, these are minor bugs, but I would still appreciate it if you fix this! Thank you ZZZ developers

Timed Event Characters
I love this game I’ve played it for longer than I probably should have in the last day I’ve had it downloaded. There are a few things that I don’t like all that much though, one of those things being timed event characters. Now I love this game and I will continue to play and enjoy it but one of the reasons I got the game was because of Ellen Joe, every single ad that I got, that was straight into some story stuff surrounding a character, featured Ellen in some way. Now that I have the game I was wondering how to unlock her character, so I went online only to find out that it wasn’t going to be available for a long time. And other than characters that are in timed events, the only other thing that I don’t really like about the game is the size of it, 25 gigabytes is a lot for a mobile device user. However I will recommend this game to my friends and I will play this game on the regular.

Game won’t open.
The game simply will not open on me or my friend's IPhone 7+, Iv tried every day sense the game came out now, and it still won't open, I click it and it goes to a black screen then closes out. If this is because I have an IPhone 7+, then the 00 game should not be available for my phone to download it to begin with. But I hope that's not the case, I figured that it's just a temporary bug, so I hope it will be fixed soon. But besides that, iv played a bit of the game on my console, and it's honestly pretty meh, gameplay is pretty repetitive and boring, there are barely any Male starter characters, and I don't like how the children are dressed and the poses they are put it, mainly Piper Wheel and Lucy. Piper has a crop top that is disturbingly detailed to be tight on her chest along with short shorts, and Lucy has literally BUTTY SHORTS and a crop top as well, not to even mention the poses she’s in when you view the character in game, i am beyond disappointed and disgusting with this game and we’re not even a week in. But hopefully y’all can make some changes to the game and character designs to better improve the game, I think that’s all I have to say for now…

Best One So Far
I have played a few Hoyoverse games and I like this one the most. The story is much more clear than their other recent offerings Genshin Impact and Honkai Stsr Rail. The atmosphere feels like Persona 5 and the contained areas are alive with activity. The main characters aren’t some bada** from another world they are down to earth people who are trying to make a living. The hollow navigation mini game activity is not very fun but not too difficult or annoying. At least it stylized and includes interesting dialogue from the characters participating. I like the fighting it is simple but making combinations is fun and requires some skill to pull off. For an experienced player it’s not that difficult. The game is interesting and I can play on my phone and switch off to my Playstation if I want. It also released with Backbone support which was a huge plus. It can be difficult tapping on the touch screen.

Incredible
Running on an iPhone 15 and a new iPad this game runs flawlessly. Which I would hope, but it needs to be said. As far as combat goes, it’s crisp, responsive, fluid and smooth. I’m playing with a controller and it’s really responsive. I think all of the character design is good, and the voice acting is amazing. It’s really an impressive f2p game. And Hoyo is always pretty good about making their games actually f2p. I’be been waiting for this game for a while now and it hasn’t really disappointed me. (Full disclosure: I did sort of hope it was gonna be totally open world like Genshin but I love my little neighborhood) All in all I don’t know how you don’t love this game. (Ps: anyone complaining about the size of this game is going to understand once they play it. They’re also gonna have to get over it bc for games to look and play this well in a digital future(right now) then this is the cost(size).)

amazing start
combat is smooth and intuitive, and the storytelling is amazing. the cutscene animations are fluid and expressive, while the story sequences are really creative and strike out with its own style instead of sticking with the boring visual novel style of dialogue. the world building and exposition is also very natural, and the way the characters are introduced feel more organic in my opinion than how they are usually introduced in star rail and genshin (i mainly play star rail and no longer play genshin). the world is explained to you through a mix of cutscenes, stories, and worldbuilding—using internet posts from an in-universe social media, and natural interactions with NPCs AND characters yet to be introduced in the main story out and about on the main street. like, the way they introduce the same old concepts from other hoyo and gacha games (like farming for character materials and weekly gamemodes) is just so clean??? you can easily get your first standard S-rank character after playing for about 45 min after getting to level 8. the story at the moment is low stakes and kind of simple, but what does the complexity of the plot matter against its execution? i can already see that this game as a LOT of potential for darker and angsty themes. wayyy more the hsr, this game is definitely hi3 2.0 in a lot of ways. i also REALLY like the pjsk boyband stuff they got going on here lol

Great game!
For real tho, what is with all of the people who don’t like the game ‘cause it’s not “Perfect” or “It’s Glitchy” It literally came out two days ago!!! (As of writing this) stop ZZZ slander!! Ok, but in all seriousness, this is actually a pretty good game, (my only issue is that there isn’t a lot, but It’s version 1.0, It’ll get updated) I think the battle mechanics are pretty engaging, and the story is also pretty enjoyable, and the characters! They’re like ligit good! I’ve laughed so hard at some lines, and I’ve really grown to like other characters, and the story just ties it all together! All in all, I don’t think it compares to other Hoyoverse masterpieces. But it’s relatively new, give it a chance! (I’m looking at you, ZZZ haters) I think new players will like it once they give it a shot. (Also side note, if you play close attention to a character [Anby] she hums a song in one of her idol animations! 🥹 must protecc)

Surprised by low ratings
This game is so fun!! I’ve been waiting for it since it was announced. I didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much as I do since I didn’t really enjoy punishing gray raven’s playstyle (it’s similar) but it exceeded all expectations. Something about hyv games is that there’s ALWAYS something to do, it never gets boring. The character designs aren’t anything crazy but I actually like that, you get to focus more on the kit/playstyle/what you actually need instead of getting a character for their looks. I’m a fan of genshin, star rail, wuwa, and onmyoji, and this is probably my favorite. There are still things that could be worked on but that goes for every gacha game. I find that obtaining the signals to wish is much much easier compared to my other games. It might take weeks to get a 10 pull in others but in zzz it takes me just a few days. I love this game!!

This game’s style is literally all I have ever asked for in a game
It’s very easy for beginners, there’s many events that give out free pulls. The game’s fighting system is absolutely fantastic and that’s an understatement, it’s so fun to fight in this game. To anyone reading this review, please try this game out, it’s free and is very beginner friendly as I stated before! but be warned though this game is extremely addictive because of how actually fun it is! But I do see a problem which isn’t exactly affecting me but affecting those who just spent their in game currency horribly. The in game currency stacks up a lot at the start of the game to mid game, but at the late game in order to gain money it’s more difficult because of the lack of missions. With the money one can buy items, enhance skills and level up characters meaning it’s very valuable. Just a tip, don’t waist your money and safe it trust me you’ll need it.

I Love the game but missing functions should be added
When I first play Zenless zone zero the game is actually amazing and I will say big thanks to everyone involved in creating Zenless zones zero. Speaking of functions missing they were suppose to be a function for multiplayer on the Home Screen where they can be match for 2players match and team match and team missions like the solo missions we are playing right now. We are in a new era Where everyone like to play online games together and get a reward on every mission they completed. That’s why Zenless zone zero is losing more fans and players, the game been played only on iPhone and iPads is causing restrictions to most players because is not everyone that is using iPhone, that’s is one thing you guys should take note of. We as a players of Zenless zones zero hope we will be seeing those functions on the new update of Zenless Zone zero. Thanks you.

New fav game
Had to take my sweet time, I think now I’ve been a week or so into the game, and I can for sure say my genuine opinion about it. It’s been such a refreshing experience to me when it comes to gameplay, atmosphere, characters, even the music and mini games in arcade it all brings back the good old days especially with the Video tapes, discs, and the snake game in the arcade. It brings back the nostalgia and the child within me. Welling to keep playing it, sure it might get harder in the future due to my phone storage space, but really my fav game by far, it’s true due to my short game playing I do find it hard to stay always into play mode, but that’s ok, I’m fine with taking it slow because when a game is this good I feel like I don’t want to finish its current content fast . Additionally, the story is interesting and I like the comic style in storytelling too.

Huge problems with the size
I’ve been looking forward to Zeneless Zone Zero since it was announced, and I’ve been a big Anby fan since. I play every Hoyoverse game asides from those not available on Global. Naturally, I was excited to download it on my PC as usual, but the space required was ridiculous. Next to nobody has 100gb of free space on their disc, unless they want ZZZ to be the only game they play. That’s crossing the line, and this is just on release, too, the space required will only increase… That doesn’t mean I gave up though, I had to sacrifice a ton of stuff on my phone so I could download it here. Insanely inconvenient. I highly doubt that the quality of the game can make up for this huge issue, despite it looking amazing. I have seen very few people actually be able to play the game, for this reason ALONE. Many people haven’t been able to download regardless of their devices. My rating may change once and IF I am able to play, but for now we’re going with a solid two stars. Hoyoverse, listen to your players for once..

This game is great and no one can tell me otherwise
First of all, I’ve been waiting for ZZZ for a long time, and I also don’t normally write reviews. I was so invested in the game because of how fun it is these past few days that I didn’t realize the amount of backlash it was getting. The main problem I see is not with the game, but rather the criticizing reviewers, who are a bunch of whiny, unsatisfactory kids. Every review I’ve seen so far of ZZZ is either from: Genshin player that didn’t get an open world experience People that hate on the game for no reason People that hate on the game because it doesn’t have “Honkai” in its name People that hate on this game because it’s not WuWa This is absolutely absurd, and if someone out there is reading this, please know that the many bad reviews you see about this game are from people who have played pretty much nothing of it, and didn’t even bother PLAYING the game rather than be “I want the new character”. This is also mainly because people like me, who are enjoying ZZZ, are too busy playing the game rather than writing hypocritical reviews. If you don’t like gacha games, that’s fine, but no reason to scream at others to not play this game, and also complain like a wimp because they have to actually play the GAME to get polychrome for pulling. It’s called a game for a reason.

People need to calm down
Having this game be 3.9 in the App Store is absolutely absurd people need to calm down This game might be different and new but day one people are being so whiny and spoiled comparing this to other games when this game just needs some time an open mind let me take down some false ideology's -combat is boring and button smashing: I agree, I also disagree because the combat is varied as long as you build and start to understand the system. As for easy parry’s and dodges to keep in mind there are two different sparks that come out of parry’s. One is normal yellow spark which is easy yet not too easy to parry and the red one which requires fast moves and sometimes invisible red parry’s which give the game that extra difficulty. -boring lore: some say that the game doesn’t give you a goal right off the bat but I disagree, the game gives you a discrete goal but that goal will grow throughout the story and the prologue is for players to get a feel for the game. Afterwards you get put to more difficult challenges and more intense struggles which is normal for even HSR and require an open mind One thing I agree with is that the game needs to instead of adding for HP add more attack damage to more difficult entities When playing this game please keep an open mind that this game isn’t as hardcore based

I have Storage for it!!!
I have enough storage for it but yet it doesn’t let me play the game. It just has me on a black screen for a couple seconds. No music or anything and it just kicked me out of the game. I am downloaded it because it is a waste of storage in my opinion I am playing on it on my iPad. It does not work even though I have the storage for it. It is so frustrating that I can’t get into it. Some people are saying that it isn’t even fully released yet I don’t know that but that’s because I can’t get into the app so please if anyone can help write a review on why there’s a black screen then it kicks me out please and thank you, From someone on the Internet Hello, this is me editing it, and I forgot to mention even Ginshin impact could open for me. It is not as good as The app I previously mentioned Ginshin impact I know I’m probably spelling it wrong, but do not blame me. Please do not. I really would like to play it but I can’t and I am really sad about it. I won’t be downloading this app again, but I will be downloading the app that I previously mentioned. goodbye, from a person on the internet.

It takes a bit, but it is amazing.
The game starts off slow, but after you play enough, you stop being able to get away with the button-masher play style and are forced to improve. The TV sections feel somewhat straining early on, but it’s mostly just to teach you the intricacies of the TV sections without overwhelming you with all the info at once. As you progress, you unlock more combat centric missions with no TVs (Rallys). The art style and animations are incredible, and the intense level of detail warrants the large download easily. The gameplay involves a more linear and therefore straightforward approach to combat, with exploration typically not being the focus. As a F2P, definite recommendation. (Minor edit: this game is getting review bombed, so that’s why all the most recent reviews tend to consist of “colorist” or “racist” in them. Please ignore them and try the game for yourself.)

Very Good game!
The game seems to be a science in balance. Equal parts action and strategy, story and a little exploration, with growth equally attainable by both avid players who grind out resources and the players who would like to pay for quickly obtained resources. I don't actually have that many complaints about this game. However the biggest one that comes to mind is that it seems to make my phone work extremely hard. 20 to 30 minutes of playing is usually enough to make my phone uncomfortably hot in my hands. And this is coming from an iPhone 15 user. I don't claim to know much about technology, but if there is any way that you could configure the game to not make our phones work so hard and overheat from playing it, that would be great. However, please take my criticism with a grain of salt, because again I don't really know much about the inner workings of technology like this.

I can’t even get into the game
Honestly, there could have been a better way for me to say this instead of writing a review on a game I haven’t even been able to open, but I don’t think I’m willing to figure it out There’s a very likely chance that I would give this a higher rating, if I was able to play it. But I haven’t even logged into the game. I downloaded it as soon as I could, then tried to open the app right away, but it just took me to a black screen. Like it was about to load, but then it would throw me out of the game without me ever even getting to the title screen. I tried deleting it and redownloading it on multiple occasions, I’ve tried restarting my device, I made sure I had enough storage, but so far all I’ve gotten is a black screen for a few seconds before it sends me back to my home screen. I’m not sure if this is a problem with my device or if other people are struggling with it, but I’m not sure what to do.

as a mi/hoyoverse fan since HI3… i feel like they flopped.
don’t get me wrong! i love the vision of the game; a neo-setting RPG with expressive characters. one of the first things i noticed was the suuuper smooth animations + 3d/2d art!! but i feel like some of the characters are lacking in “personality”… but only to a certain extent! they’re creative, but some are sort of stereotypical — that’s just my opinion! (I.E., many players would love to see some power moments for our girl nekomata) on a more technical perspective, i think that the actual gameplay resembles that of HI3, but if it were…simpler. “simple” is something that this game is in lurve with!! not in a bad way. i just think that this game doesn’t hold the gameplay mechanic capacity that players need from mobile games. point blank: it’s only an attention grabber with it’s visuals. but that isn’t to say there’s no hope for this game. hoyoverse, you can always update your games. i believe in this game!! but only if you do first, hoyoverse.

Undercooked Incomplete
The combat is solid but it gets repetitive after a while. There are also things that are missing or unfinished that gets patched in every other update. ie Being able to roam the overworld with a character of your choice is still not in the game. The UI is also terrible. The TVs are good for puzzles but SHOULDN’T interrupt your immersion when doing story/combat missions. The shiyu defense elemental weaknesses is OVERLY tailored towards newer units. After the first update, bugs were introduced that weren’t there previously and they won’t be fixed until the next update cycle (roughly a month & a half later). There’s also no mini town map to navigate areas. Also for the size of the game, you’re pretty restricted with how much you can explore. There’s literally a separate area for the parking lot & sixth street which is only blocked by a gate but the game is 50GB+ on PS5???? This game is severely undercooked and shouldn’t have been released until next year. Its boring and a chore to play after a month of play time. Easily the worst of the recent hoyoverse games.

hoyoverse... great story, graphics, and animations!... but...
the good: like Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact, beautiful graphics and animations. unique story and good voice acting on main quest. combat is fast paced with varied enemies. world is alive, though small. interesting and very unique take on missions. Story progression well done. the bad, common to other hoyoverse titles: very few characters, character progression gets painfully sliw quick, drop rates terrible, most summons filled useless junk, dupes needed and terrible drop rate makes it impractical to own any high tier heroes, "store" offers little and all over priced. no vip system. no incentive reward for supporting developers. the other downside: combat very repetative. some changes to scenery and enemy type, but, overall gets old fast. the unique take on missions has a bad side, can be tedious and boring. unlike Genshin and StarRail, world is tiny, cramped, boring, uninspired. not open world. entire world exist on one street in one very small neighborhood. most locations outside neighborhood amount to only a very small stage that cant be explored. if you like summoning, skip this and all hoyoverse games. if you want open world exploration, skip this title. if you are a whale, like me, nothing worth your money. if you like seeing heroes grow, change, evolve... skip this hard. so, who should play this game? free to play who can focus only on story. you will enjoy it.

Refreshing gacha game
I have played Genshin, HSR, and WuWa both on PC and mobile. ZZZ is by far the most enjoyable game especially on mobile. The controls are far easier to streamline on mobile than the competition. This game has pulled me away from other gachas due to its very fluid and satisfying combat. It’s very mobile friendly as well without making any compromises on quality. I can’t say that about other gachas. There are definitely some elements of the game that seem niche and have controversy like the TV storytelling. Personally I can appreciate it since it tells a story in a way that other mechanisms would not be able to but I do feel that it’s relied on too heavily. Overall it’s an unbelievably solid game with incredible combat. It’s worth trying out and giving it a fair shot for yourself before you write it off.

Wow!
This game has a lot to love. Snappy, satisfying combat. A punchy UI and art direction. Beautiful animation - sometimes it has intentionally over exaggerated movement - reminds me of DeBlob on the Wii. The character designs are amazing, each has so much personality and style. I know people are miffed about the protagonist not being playable, but honestly, I think it works in the game's favor. The protagonist and their sibling are established characters, with genuine connection to the others. It's a nice change of pace from the usual amnesiac strangers that Genshin and Star Rail have. Finally, it's all wrapped up with the classic Hoyo polish. It's a gacha, at the end of the day, but I've been having so much fun with the freebie characters that I don't really care. Been saving every last Polychrome for a character I might really want, later down the line. I could rave about this game for a while.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PLAYING OR DOWNLOAD.
The game is honestly beautiful, but if you haven’t played any other Hoyoverse games like genshin impact, Honkai impact the 3rd, Honkai star rail or any other gacha games with a “gambling” system you might be confused. The designs in the game are overall great for now but one thing that really bothers me about the game is the fact that one of their artists and character designers is a LOLICON artist who likes drawing, making, and promoting loli content. If you are confused, Loli’s are characters who are portrayed as minors or children that are sexualized and are often given extremely inappropriate designs and over exaggerated body parts. A Lolicon is somebody who draws this type of stuff or enjoys it. The gameplay is great but I don’t think I’ll be playing the game if one of their artists likes children and makes inappropriate art of kids. It’s weird! 🥰 Play the game if you want. I don’t care. I highly doubt hoyoverse will listen anyway if people review bomb this app. Hoyoverse doesn’t listen to their fans and only listens to the CN community. I would know since I’m apart of them!.

Crashes before the game starts
I wait at least an hour in half for the game to crash after or during intro cutscene. I tried to un install and re installed that didn’t work. Honkai impact 3rd doesn’t have this problem, Genshin doesn’t nor did honkai star rail. Stop having me downloading the demo immediately when it’s the full release of the game I don’t understand that at all. It crashes constantly during the intro cutscene after you select your MC . Plz fix this it feels like I’m wasting my time trying to play this game only for it crash before the tutorial even starts. I have an iPhone 8 and it always crashes after the 2nd cutscene I just want to play the game. What your going to tell me that I have to wait tell Zenless hits 1.1 update to fix this problem so I can actually play the game I downloaded on July 3rd?. I’ll keep it on my phone but I just can’t play the game no matter what I try I’m honestly disappointed.

Top Notch
Zenless Zone Zero is an absolute gem in the action RPG genre! From the moment I stepped into the vibrant, post-apocalyptic world of New Eridu, I was hooked. The neon-lit streets and the blend of futuristic tech with remnants of a past civilization create an immersive atmosphere that's hard to pull away from. The gameplay is where Zenless Zone Zero truly shines. The combat system is fast-paced and fluid, offering a perfect balance between accessibility and depth. The diverse roster of characters, each with their unique abilities, makes every battle feel fresh and strategic. I love experimenting with different team compositions and finding the best synergies. The story is another standout feature. It’s filled with twists, emotional moments, and well-developed characters. The beautifully animated cutscenes and top-notch voice acting bring the narrative to life, making me genuinely care about the characters and their journeys. Technically, the game runs smoothly, and I've encountered minimal issues. It’s clear that the developers at miHoYo have put a lot of effort into optimizing the game for various platforms. Overall, Zenless Zone Zero is a must-play for any action RPG fan. Its stunning visuals, engaging gameplay, and captivating story make it a standout title. Kudos to miHoYo for delivering such an incredible gaming experience!
