I have had my account for more than 25 years and I do not like the new app! Ever time there is an update I get locked out of my account and have to wait days for “customer service” to figure out how to unlock my account. Pending charges are not linked in a timely fashion and the Home Screen looks jumbled together no matter what device I use. I have not been able to use the touch log in feature since they developed this app. I hate it!
UPDATE: got a response saying to contact customer service even though I have multiple times. They tell me there’s apparently no recollection of me EVER HAVING AN ACCOUNT though I’ve been paying this card for 2 years. And there’s nothing they can do about it over the phone, they also don’t know where any branches are near me to I was told to “find it myself and talk to someone in person”. As soon as I pay this card off I’m terminating my account with this joke of a bank. It’s absolutely unacceptable that I haven’t been able to access my own account that is linked to my bank account for over a month. Absolute joke of a company, don’t ever work with them. ORIGINAL: Ever since the last update I haven’t been able to do anything on this app. My payments never went through, and there’s no recollection of me ever trying to pay it. Now I can’t even get into the app. There’s been an issue every time I’ve logged on
I usually don’t have a problem with this bank but after their launch of a new website/app I haven’t been able to log in. Thank god I was able to pay off my balance before this because it’s near impossible to do so now. Everything I do has to be over the phone with a representative. When I try to log in it gives me an error message and to call customer service. Why would I call customer service when they can’t do anything about it 🙃…. Strongly considering closing this account.
I just recently made an account and applied for a credit card. I was directed through the website and wrote down all of my credentials. A week later i recieved my card and all was well. Ofcourse, now when I try to log in through either the app or the website there is an issue with my account. Apparently there is NO EXISTANCE of my account or account credentials. I’ve tried the website and I’ve tried through the app. Clearly these 1 star reviews should keep anyone away from applying for a card here.
There are a couple of things I don’t like about the app and the bank in general but the thing I hate the most is that you can’t track what you’re spending through third party apps such as nerd wallet. It’s annoying when you can’t see where exactly you’re spending all your money. How do you expect people to budget and see all their finances in one place. It would be helpful to have this applied in the app or online.
I don’t usually write reviews but I literally just registered for this card. I made an account, followed all the directions, but I can’t log in. I feel like this whole app is just scam to get people’s information because why are all the ratings on this app so low? The app barely has ratings to begin with…I’m also seeing other people struggling with the same issue from months ago. What’s taking so long to resolve the problem? When am I gonna be able to use my card?
Won’t let me log in I’ve deleted and reinstalled, tried the website… I paid my card and the amount still hasn’t been deducted out of my bank account… and I better not get charged a late fee.
I don’t like how the statements are arranged. It should be arranged with the most recent statements at the top and least recent at the bottom. I shouldn’t have to scroll to see the most recent statement, that’s really annoying. For example: it is now October but when I open the app, I see September statements at the top first. Fix this or add a feature to be able to sort the data.
But I got logged out when I was about to pay and I can’t log in if I can’t log back into my account what will happen? I tried everything I only spent $70 out of $500 and I was trying to pay back what I spent but I can’t log in plz help
I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, this card not only deserves better treatment but this app is gold ! payments go through usually in day, this is my 3rd time paying this card and im very impressed. i have other credit cards that are considered very good and this one is by far my favorite. I regret opening an account here and the app is so annoying. There’s always a issue when you update it. You call about issues and it’s like your running in circles! Better off barely using the card and be done with it. The interest rate is also ridiculous 😐 no matter if your balance is low or not. Overall just a horrible experience, I personally can’t wait to be done with this card!
I usually don’t leave reviews on anything. But the new update is really nice. I was use to the old outdated version and receiving this new update I am pleased to be a customer of first financial. Great work on your new app.
My account won’t let me log back in. I’ve changed the password successfully and it still won’t let me log in. Not in the app not in Safari. The layout is not efficient and it is a good way to lose customers. Will stop using in the mean while. Will be looking for better options due to continuous difficulties.
Honestly, I’ve had the worst time trying to get into my own account. To be fair, it’s not just the app but the website as well; they both take forever to load and then you’ll get an error message. I feel bad for the customer service representatives because I can only imagine how many people share my frustration.
The new update looks nice but doesn’t work. I haven’t been able to log in using the app since the update, and I have only been able to access it through a browser — now that doesn’t even work. How am I supposed to be able to manage my account? I shouldn’t have to call to do that. Always behind the times 1FBUSA.
I’m not sure why the app only exists now, because I can’t access anything. I’ve changed my password 3 different times and I still cannot access my statements or balance. Things were much easier on the website and this app is only making things 10x harder.
The app and the website keep popping up an error message about it not being able to sign me in. I reset the password and then It went to the login page and I entered it correctly and it keeps showing me the same message. Frustrating is what it is.
Both the app and the website do not work. They always give an error message. A person has to call in to find out the balance and to make a payment and it takes forever. Please update the app to a normal stage where somebody can use it.
Doesn’t even allow me to log in anymore for over a month. I would not recommend this bank, horrible service and now the app as well. I will be closing my account with them.
After the update can’t sign into my account stating need to contact customer service. That’s not good. Wasting too much time. Customer service isn’t that great
this bank is so weird, i cant even check my credit scores on the app nor website. everything is just call customer service, call customer service. app is only for payment stuff too.
I’m so annoyed every time I open up the app (I go on it a lot) there’s a new update. Which wouldn’t be a huge problem except for half the time it finishes updating, and the app still tells me it needs to update! Either stop updating weekly, make it so you can still use the outdated version when there’s an update, or actually fix the bug. In my own personal, non professional opinion, you don’t need to update that often. The app is great, I never have issues with it until there’s an update.
I hate this institution. The app and website are horrible. I go to make a payment on my credit card bill and the payment completely disappears from the pending payments page. I go to payment history and it says it was processed. Nothing changes, and my available credit is still the same as it was before I payed. The money just disappears and I’m left with a payment processed but no payment ever goes through. Then when I think it’s behind me I go to buy something on my regular card and then I get hit with the insufficient funds fee. This bank is a lying institution who basically steals your money. The app either glitches and doesn’t display money or this bank is stealing.
I’ve rarely had a problem with either the app or company itself in 6-7 years with them. I will say, compared to Discover and American EXP. this app is way worse. Not worse in the sense that it doesn’t work, but there is no sex appeal to this app. See your balance, statement, and are able to make a payment. Boom. Want more ? Go elsewhere, but if you just need that you’ll be fine.
This app is the worst app I’ve ever used😭 it literally logs you out every time you try to use it even on the website. The people aren’t helpful at all it’s just a big disorganized mess and they should be ashamed of themselves. I’ve been trying to make a payment but it’s telling me my bank can’t be found???? I’ve called multiple times and they’ve seen that my info is correct I don’t understand why I can’t pay it off??? I’m not trying to get in any debt issues but it’s clear no one here really cares or is trying to help and I’m frustrated
I tried to login to the app and it glitched out multiple times. I went to delete and re download and tried to log back in and it said my information was wrong. I tried to reset my password and after 1 attempt with information I know for 100% fact is correct it locked me out of my account. Extremely disappointed. I’ve had my card for 4 years and always paid on time and am being caused unnecessary stress because this company made an awful app and keep updating it making it worse each time.
Can't believe they finally made an app! Lol it looks almost identical to the online website but that's fine. If it could run a little faster that'd be great, and if it would give the option to view statements without having to download the PDF that'd be great too. Otherwise, happy they finally created an app, been waiting for this for forever lol
I have been banking and using this app since 2016 and recently in the last year or so this app has been going down hill. I have zero access to my pending and previous payments on the app, it tells me that I have enrolled in automatic payments but it does not tell me how much the payment is set for or the date it is set. For a banking app it just has zero information that you would see on any other site. The app needs a complete overhaul.
So I’ve been using this app since last year and had no issues with it until today. When I open it the app keeps blinking and won’t let me use the Touch ID. I uninstall and reinstall and I’m still having that issue. Hopefully it can be taken care of ASAP.
This is by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a banking company. I can’t begin to describe how terrible the service is. It is very out dated, the app will NOT WORK!! THIS APP DOES NOT WORK!!!!!!!!! Don’t bother ever calling them either because for some reason they’re in denial about the app not working even though there are many reviews over the YEARS saying it is terrible. Opening an account with this bank was definitely one of the biggest mistakes ever ever made.
The app is fairly new, so it’s not perfect, but it’s much better than trying to access everything on desktop. The design could look a bit more modern, but it’s easy to use and gets the job done.
I understand that the app is pretty new, but I would love to see iPhone X compatibility, and also when I make payments on the app, it takes a pretty long time to update my new balance and available credit. Other than that good app. Keep working hard!

What’s the point of saving your login name or biometrics if they get wiped from the app every couple of days?! Right now I can’t even access the app because each time I enter my login information it either freezes or sends me back to the beginning to enter everything all over again. This app is junk! 😠
