1st Advantage Mobile Banking

The directions given in the app are not accurate. The directions do not state that the account number should be included on the back of the check in order for it to be accepted.

I didn’t choose 1st advantage to begin with it was the choice of the company I work for. Initial attempts to use the app where fruitless as they were in the process of upgrading. This was supposed to take a few days ended up taking about two weeks. After more than a month and multiple phone calls I’m only able to see debits to my credit card still unable to see payments. Not to mention that although the main app shows that I have the credit card I have to log into a second app to view transactions. Lastly, leaving a review requires choosing a nickname. All nicknames I have tried including “all nicknames are taken” have previously been used. Which probably results in many unsatisfied costumers deciding not to leave a review as they are unable to find a nickname.

It’s annoying that you must scroll to the bottom of the ledger to view most recent credit card transactions when that’s not the case for the checking and savings ledgers. When you scroll to the bottom to review most recent transactions the app defaults to earlier transactions if you scroll down too far. Please move recent transactions to the top of the credit card ledger or at least add a sort feature.

This app has not worked for me ever since I switched from a galaxy to an iPhone - 2 years ago. When I go to log in it states “an unknown error has occurred please call this number.” I have called in several times to get assistance to no avail. This does not typically pose an issue as most business I can do with the desktop or mobile web page version. However, since you can only deposit checks via mobile version (for some reason), in the off chance I get a check it is fairly inconvenient as I live out of state.

I use it simply to check card transactions and the balance of my accounts. However I have the same issue multiple times where I can not access my account because it “doesn’t remember” my password. This is odd because I have Face ID on the entire time and not to mention I could access it just a few hours ago and come back to being locked out. This seriously needs to get fixed because I know the password I’m typing in isn’t wrong.

I would like to do more than just see my balance and make transfers. which a lot of the times the transfers don’t work and being able to see my credit card transactions and see most recent at the top and not the bottom and it does repeat a lot of your transactions and getting a new look it’s very old and outdated on the app and having more functionalities to be able to manage your text alerts. It would also be nice to have the ability to members to member transfers or transfers to other banks.

App and the bank in general are good but unlike other major banks In my area 1st advantage is way behind the times and the last to do anything Mobile deposits definitely needs more work on this app and I wish that it could be a little more faster With other banks I use it normally takes no more than 15-30 minutes for my check to go in my bank account via mobile deposit But with 1st advantage it takes almost a week App States it takes 2-3 business days but if I get paid Friday and don’t get off until 2pm ( past the cut off time ‘1pm’ for it to be included as the first day ) I won’t even see the money until around the next following Wednesday or Thursday the very next week !!

Great bank. Would love to be able to turn my atm card on and off but other than that easy online access.

This is the slowest banking app I’ve ever used. It was already slow to load, but after this update it got worse. 60% of the time the app has log in issues. Doesn’t show pending transactions and you can’t even create SubAccounts (holiday accounts) within your own primary account. After using a VPN, this app refuses to open now without vpn running.

I’m a day late trying to pay my bill. Honestly because the night before I was ready to pay but the APPS FUNTIONS simply wouldn’t let me, so I said I’ll try later and forgot. Then app continuously displaying my SSN and Account # is wrong and I’ve been using the same one. I CAN’T even transfer from an external account if I wanted too. It’s sad, I just wanna pay y’all and move on with my life. How do you make it so hard for y’all to RECEIVE your money. 😐

I tried eight times to sign in to my account. Each time I received a message to update with no place to enter my password. Went to local branch, manager supposedly fixed it......went home and tried to open and same message “update” appeared, tried again and “update “, no place for password appeared again. The only solution is to find a reliable bank for my account.

Pictures of checks are not being accepted or are accepted with wrong amt. Very frustrating and usually end up having to deposit check manually anyway.

I feel like I’m going crazy the app keeps automatically closing and I can’t unfreeze my card to do anything because you have to do it all on the app and I can’t do it from the website. This app is driving me crazy. I updated my phone, the app is up to date and I don’t have any viruses or anything. I literally can’t get to my money.

App is not working. Says there’s no connection. Yet, everything else on my phone works perfectly including accessing my C.U. account through the Safari app.

Login and setup were straight forward. 1) Add Touch ID 2) Add ATM locator, I hate having to go to the website to find an fee free atm near me 3) Add scheduled transactions functions 4) Bill Pay is clumsy- where are my biller groups? 5) Add the running balance to the account view like on the website 6) How about ability to search and filter transactions by payee, date, and/or amount 7) Add check number search 8) Add alert for when mobile deposit clears 9) Add check card/ credit card management, integrated with the new notification system, plus add an ability to suspend the card and to notify when using it out of the local area

Tried to open, prompted to update now. Sent back to open. Tried without success on two iphones.

This app is good until you change your password due to the fact that it remembers your old verification when you change your password it keeps on failing and will lock you out of your account I have even gone to the bank itself to get help and They still can’t get it to work.

If it wasn’t for this mobile transferring I would always forget my bill

After having to go into the bank to get the app to work, it is now completely unusable. It completely locks up when I try to use it. The new app launched over 2 months ago, and it still isn’t right. It has actually gotten worse. This makes me question the security of it. Seriously considering taking my money elsewhere. I don’t trust a bank that just hires the lowest bidder to develop their app.

You just finished updating your website and it looks good so far. But the update to the app is flawed. I get a white screen every time that I try to open it. I'm not sure what validation testing you did but I guess you left out the iPhone 7. :-( Please go back to the previous version; at least it worked. ☹️

While I like that I can view, transfer funds and sync with my budgeting software, the app NEVER accepts my mobile deposits. This wouldn’t be a big deal if I were local but we relocated to California several years ago. Please fix your mobile deposit!! I have zero issues with Navy Fed, USAA or Capital One’s mobile deposit.

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but since the bank completed their digital technology update of course the app needed an update as well, & after I finished my app update all I see is a blank white screen and then it force closes. Ive deleted the app and re-downloaded it again, but still getting the white screen?!?

Keeps crashing

I downloaded this app so that I could deposit checks through the app. I have tried several times to do so with the check. And even when I submit crystal clear photos of the check it comes back as a failure. A lot of work is needed on this app.

The bank is great, unfortunately I moved out of the area. Whereas the app used to accept photo checks, the last six months or so have had a 100% failure rate. Without the capability of taking a snapshot of my check to be deposited, the service is worthless and I am forced to cancel my account and go to a local bank.

Are they going to do a update that has facial ID or finger print on the app? That would be so useful! Most bank apps, like Langley have that.

I LOVE this app! Easy to use and very efficient. Only complaint, when they update, they completely sign you out. NBD

Please can we get face identification instead of having to enter our password every time we want to log in. And internal transfers need to be a little bit faster. The app is great and helps me out a whole lot.

Great app but wish could change some features and change the look sometimes..

Card alerts, turn on/off card, travel notices. Solid.

The app isn’t even opening right now, when you click it, it goes to a white screen and then says “sorry were have trouble accessing your banking information” and has been saying that for the past 4 days!

In the app, it says an update is required, and has the button to “update now”, but if you hit that, it opens the App Store with 1st Advantage app, but doesn’t say “update”, it just has “open”, so you just end up toggling between the two, and can’t get into the 1st Advantage app.

This app is useless. I have an auto loan with 1St Adv. This app gives me very little information on how to pay my bill. It’s terribly put together. Don’t even get me started on the effort it took to figure out how to make an account. This app is worthless, and also I don’t recommend this bank.

This app was fine until this new update I don’t know what first advantage was thinking of but they should’ve left it alone now it will not even come up on my phone fix this problem please

After clicking cards tab it freezes on a loading screen indefinitely and you can’t refresh back out or anything except force close app.

This new system is absolutely trash.. and I quite honestly don’t understand how this took almost a week to get right.. If I didn’t have good relationships with your managers and know that it is not their fault, I would seriously be considering taking my business elsewhere.

Account says update required but it’s not updating and I cannot get access to my account now.

So many glitches. It moves slow. App will log you out in the middle of usage. I love 1st Advantage but they have a long long long way to go with their app.

I tried to use this app and it forces you to update. No problem. BUT you must have iOS 13 installed. My iPad Air will not update the OS any longer. An older app version is not available. Now I have no app on my good tablet.

I would give 5 stars if the app worked all the time, but sometimes I can’t transfer money because it’s not working.

Just updated the app. When I open it, I just get a white screen, then the app crashes. Already deleted the app, restarted my phone, and redownloaded the app. Same problem occurs. Way to take four days to upgrade for this. Fire your IT team pls.

The app is not working‼️ I click on the app white screen comes up and closes. I deleted it reinstalled it and still not working. This is the only app on my phone that is doing this!! Fix ASAP

This app is not working for me no matter what I do!!!! All my information is correctly pull in!!!

The app reset my password so now I’m unable to log in. Pretty annoying. Also, the startup time is insanely slow. It will just stay on the loading screen for about 2 minutes before it takes you to your login screen.

There is always issues with trying to login, always down. Newest issue it tells me to update the app takes me to App Store… there is no update… wish I could give it no stars
