This game is a tone of fun! Can’t go wrong with the classic Capture the Flag. The only issues I have with it so far are 1. When there is sap on the ground I think at least one squirrel should be able to run through it. I suggest when Zip activates his speed it should allow him to run through the sap. 2. I don’t know how this can be fixed, but there are times when I try to use a tunnel made by Doug and I pop out the end only to pop right back in. Sometimes getting stuck in the loop over and over. This is extremely aggravating! Again though, I’m not sure how the developer could fix this, I just thought I’d express my anger. 3. The “joystick” seems a big difficult to use. Could just be me, but I’ve been having a hard time getting my squirrel to go the direction I want it to. All in all, this game is a load of fun and highly recommend it! But be prepared to also be infuriated by these little things.
I absolutely love this game, but there is one problem and I have one suggestion. First, I purchased were-zip skin yesterday and now it says I didn’t, second, with the big tree balls, I think they should despair after they are thrown, because there have been many cases when a lingering ball his killed me when I’m coming out of a tunnel or falling off a ramp. I hope this feedback has been helpful! Sorry I forgot some more suggestions. I know it’s probably hard to decide a new squirrel, but I had an idea, I don’t know what it should look like but I had a power and name idea, his name is camo and he can turn invisible for a bit, of course the tree will still see the acorn if he has it. Also I don’t have a problem with this since I’m a boy but I feel like you would get more players if you made female squirrels. There seem to be a lot of reports of it not working on phones but it works fine for me and my best friend. Also I would like it if you improved name space because I wanted a biggish name but it cut me off. But overall this is my favorite game and I call my best friend every day so we can play. Okay so my friends and I had been anticipating the release of this game for as long as I can remember. Today is the 29th and the app has just been released. My friends and I all got together and we simultaneously opened the app with glee. However, to my extreme misfortune, the app crashed after four seconds of running. I was not dismayed though. For I opened the app a second time only to have it crash again. Similarly, my friend with an iPhone 6 experienced the same result. The only one of us to have the app work was a friend with an iPhone XR. So, in a hideous fit of pure rage, I screamed like a banshee and was unable to play on my phone. I was distraught. I have never been so sad and suicidal in my life. But I got to play on my friends iPhone XR so it was pretty good. 4/5.
I played this game with both co-workers (in our twenties) and my family (all of us are adults) and it was such good time! Only one person needs a headset, and you can play with anyone anywhere. It was a perfect hour long game to start without knowing anything, and then get better over time. My family was in three separate time zones and we were able to play and have fun. My critiques are to add bot difficulty cause the bots are very horrendous at times and have cost the squirrels games. It'd be cool if we could made them more difficult/make them smarter. Also, more game modes would be cool, cause the same game mode does get old after a while with a casual crowd. I like the learning curve of the squirrel classes, I would just add new modes besides capture the flag.
I think this is probably the coolest family game out there!! Me and my family play it allllll the time when we’re not busy we even take it on VACATION!! I definitely recommend getting a VR headset and downloading this game to your iPads, iPhones and VR headset. The only thing I can think of that’s wrong with it is that sometimes it freezes or kicks you out but that doesn’t happen very often. We’ve played in all of the worlds and we’ve played with all of the characters and they’re absolutely adorable. Y’all have honestly done an amazing job with this game. One thing though. Can you please add a few more worlds? Well other than the rare glitches this game is absolutely amazing and super adorable and I definitely recommend this game to anyone of any age
My kids love playing this game as a family, and it’s been a lot of fun playing over the years. It would be great to see some updates to maps and other gameplay mechanics to help balance things out a bit. If you have a player who is very skilled at being the tree, it can be almost impossible to win as the squirrels. Maybe some options to adjust handicaps for the tree (or the squirrels) could be fun. It would also be cool to see multiple teams of squirrels, each trying to get the acorns back to their own base, so it’s not just the tree you’re competing against.
I adore this game so much! I would not change a thing about this game. I read some reviews, and I have to disagree with some of them. 1. Changing the camera angle so that it pivots to the squirrel’s back all the time, even while they’re coming back to base from stealing the acorn, would ruin the fun of the game. I love that challenging feature , and it would be too easy for squirrels to win if that was changed (as of it is for now) 2. The tree’s attacks are very well balanced in my opinion. Idk why some players are having a problem with it. You got the slime to slow the squirrels down, the smaller Rock that reloads instantly, and the giant boulder for a heavier attack damage. On top of that, infinite ammo for all. Use them tactfully and you will make it very difficult for the squirrels to win This game is perfect. I love everything, and the simplicity of it most of all. A person plays the tree, choose a setting, and others choose which squirrel they wanna play every time during spawning and respawn, then boom, play. No need to touch up on extra setting etc. Best game ever yet! 100% recommend!!!
Great game, but just 2 things can be more better...
I love this game and everyone I’ve played with also loves this game, although it is VERY fun, it becomes a bit stale for my me and my friends around 45 mins each play session. Due to this I am wishing for an update, with new maps and new squirrels to play as. I believe more maps complex map designs will keep the tree and the squirrels up on their feet, and new squirrels, with new abilities would leave players needing to strategize more. I believe adding these to the game is a great move for this app and the players, keeping players coming back. Other than that, this game is an A tier party game.
The game is a lot of fun, and we had no problem with crashes as reported by several. The only problem we had was that it was far too difficult as the squirrels against the tree, and all noted it was too easy playing as the tree. The imbalance resulted in wondering if we’d bother playing again. A simple solution is to only require the squirrels to get two acorns, leaving it up to the player to ramp up to 3 or 4. Regardless, a really nice game with solid mechanics - just make the difficult gameplay a little less difficult.
This game has the potential to be one of the best Vr games I’ve ever played. Here are some balancing fixes for squirrels to have more of an edge vs the unstoppable tree: 1. Projectile speed reduced 2. Ground sap remains on ground for limited time 3. When a squirrel picks up an acorn they get 2-3 seconds of invulnerability Last comment would be how frustrating it is not being able to camera rotate as a squirrel. Maps like the haunted woods are so easy to fall off of while running backwards. Make these changes and the game will be more balanced between tree vs squirrel. It’s too easy to throw objects at them. Cool downs are relatively low for the stronger projectiles. Sap staying on the ground until a squirrel walks through it is just unfair. Every time sap spawns you just throw it on the acorns. Making squirrels invulnerable for 2 or 3 seconds after picking up an acorn forces the tree to aim at the squirrels from a slight distance, making escape more viable for squirrels, otherwise the tree just waits until the squirrel picks up acorn, easy to hit.
My family and I have spent so much time playing this game together. It’s one of the few games everyone in my family enjoys playing with each other. It’s a cheesy, nutty (get it?), incredible delight. Playing as the tree makes you feel like a final boss facing off against the protagonists clueless to their impending doom. Such a funny game. Such a delight. If you have a headset, a family and a bunch of smartphones lying around (or being used, whatever), you’re missing out if you don’t give this game a chance!
This game is outstanding as a group game. Up to 9 players can play at a time. We play this game as a family a lot. My kids love it too. They both love being the tree and being a squirrel. The only thing I would ask for is more levels. There are only 8 levels to play. The are very good. But some levels definitely are more likely the tree will win and some the squirrels will almost always win. This is okay because it makes you try different strategies. But it would be nice to have some more levels. The squirrels abilities are nice. The only one we don’t use a lot is sim who builds the stairs. His is somewhat less useful other then building walls to stop the tree. The other thing that is a minor irritation is the bot squirrel’s often will run the acorn back towards the tree it is often easier without them.
This game is great because you can play with other people. Sim is my favorite character because he can build Bridges but one thing you shouldn’t do with him is build a giant bridge around the tree because if you build a giant bridge around the tree, the tree will grow super tall in the game will glitch. I hope they can fix that soon. And sometimes I can never get my character to go the right way. still great game but could use some fixes and great family games
Just stop complaining about your phone. Sure, the developers COULD pay more attention to the game, and the tree could be a little less overpowered. Y’all need to stop focusing on the “bad aspects” of the game and enjoy it! Get your phone checked by a professional. Why can’t you guys just be satisfied? My family LOVES playing this. I love this game! There aren’t many games 7 people can play (that’s the amount of people in my house) that everyone loves. The one thing is that you can’t change your view point, at least I don’t know how. If the flag is behind me and I was going forward to get an acorn, I can’t turn to see the flag, and it’s very annoying! Otherwise the game is great. I love how each squirrel has its own power and I love the concept of the game. Just please fix this 1 thing, it’ll make it perfect!
I rate this game 10/10 I love to play this game 24/7 I like the tree also but once I start with it the graphics start glitching or much but I’m sure the game will get better on and on I do like the squirrels also and the attack but I also do think it needs better aiming, also when the squirrel goes behind you you can turn around but glitches the game a bit :) but I recommend this game 10/10

(Playing on a phone (any electronic) So not a lot of people don’t have phones, iPads, etc. You should really make something that you don’t have to play on an electronics. 2. This game is nuts!! Pun aside, this game is probably my favorite VR Game. I really hope more companies follow suit and follow the “one player in VR, the rest on mobile,” model. One of our favorite new party games for game night! I really hope they keep updating this game with skins and all that, but other than that, keep it just how it is - and make more like it! I’ll gladly buy similar games in a heartbeat! Thank you devs!!!
Would rate 5/5, just think the camera for the squirrel is holding me back. When you get the acorn, you basically have to blind run against the camera since the camera is fixed pointing toward the tree. So you end up running into walls or hazards. If the camera could pivot behind the player, that would be excellent. Also think there should be settings to control somewhere. Like how long games last or picking the map/map order. Last. There were numerous times I would get the acorn back to the deposit spot only to learn I didn’t have the acorn/it got hit off at some point. Would love it if there was some flash or more visible display that you lost the acorn. It can be easy to lose in the chaos Overall, fun game though. Few tweaks and it would be a 5/5.
I would recommend this to any family or friends with a VR headset! Their is really no issues with this game it’s almost perfect but they need a way to change the camera like move it around when your the mobile player because it’s annoying when you can’t look around but other than that still really good 👍
So, basically when I first was going to play the game with my best friend it worked, but then it got deleted automatically for no reason it just happens if i don't play it for a while. Now, out of nowhere when I try to download it again like now, it wont work so, if you guys can fix it a bit I will be very happy but, if it wont work its fine I guess its just my IPad thing or connection I guess.
I downloaded this game to my play with my kids (6 and 4). It was immediate hit, my parents who are 68 also enjoyed playing the game. It has become our favorite game for family night. However, I feel there should be a way for the squirrels to change their camera view. Playing on a tablet or phone it is difficult when you can’t where you are going when bringing the acorns back. That is the only reason I give it 4 stars. Great game!
This game is super fun, but can be lacking at times. There aren’t many games like this, where you can play with fam, so I suggest you guys add as much as you can, before there are more games like these. I suggest adding 1 or 2 more classes, and maybe even more gamemodes. When you play the same thing for an hour, it becomes a little boring. You should also try to add more maps regularly. This game is super fun, I love it, but we need more content please!

I got Acron today and it’s mind blowing! There have been games in the past where you play VR and another device, but everyone wants to have the VR, not this. In this it’s evenly amounts of fun, with you chucking tree balls at squirrels, or building up high in the sky trying to steal acorns. Personally if this game didn’t have VR and was just a mobile game it would be fun still, but with VR is taking it to the next level.
I have two iPhone 6 and iPad Air. It does work on the IPad well but there nothing I can do to get it to work on ether of the iPhone 6es. I choose the server “US” just like on the PC/VR and type in the number of the lobby/room. As soon as it connects the app just crushes to the home screen. Have tried to reset my WiFi/modem. Shut of all other devices to free up the channel - no help. It seams to be a really fun and entertaining game but no way I can make it work on my iphones. I would gladly change the rating and the review if I could get help and can work it out for my phones
So this is a great party game as you only need one VR headset and everyone else can play against you. It’s really fun. I do however believe it to be unbalanced heavily in the Trees favor. Especially when there is only 1-2 squirrels. I beg the Delores to add offensive weapons for the squirrels. Just something that temporarily blinds the tree would suffice. Some sort of pesticide would work as a gas grenade. Love this game and hope it gets balanced better. Devs give dem squirrels some weapons!
I love this game. It is so fun to play with my friend when he has a vr. But the one thing I would like to happen is to see you put a “matchmaking” type thing where I could load up with randoms because when I want to play my friend doesn’t want to always. So if this could happen I would play this game WAY more often
Great game, great fun. A few ideas: 1. You should be able to change the number of acorns required for victory. 2. You should be able to pick the length of the game. 3. The tree needs more variety in weapons, and what is offered should change with the number of squirrels playing; more players, stronger weapons. 4. The builder, Sim, should have a limited number of ramps. Also, if the tree hits a lower section, the upper sections built from it should fall. 5. The tree should have the option to turn off the visible fronds at the top of the screen. 6. Maps: open a user-created map store. Let the gamers create some maps. This game has tons of potential. It just needs some development.
I don’t know what connection people are using but it never crashes for us and is so much fun! Depending how many people you have depends on who you should have as the tree! Some people are really good at being the treee so they should face off against more squirrels... if you have not many people let a kid be the tree! This is definitely a family and group favorite!
I got this on my oculus so I could play with my friends at my house, and had a blast at first. Later as we played, we started to run out of maps, and the game got boring and bland. Although, once you leave it and pick it back up some time later, you repeat the cycle. Really wish there was more to do.
This game is amazing I played it for the first time today and I’m addicted to it. A few things I would like to see the developers add are 1. Some way to stun the tree for a few seconds 2. A squirrel that can fly for a short period of time 3rd and finally a way to exit the tunnel whenever you wish
Seriously a amazing game, would recommend! I played this with my family (my mom and dad) and its so fun. My dad is really good at the tree. Easy controlling, no lag, just awesome. Basically some people are squrriels mobile with one vr person and they stop squirrels from getting acorns. Been playing for a week, no complaints!
I love the game so much it is so much fun to play with friends and family! it works like a charm but everybody has to have their own device or one person might have enough devices for everybody so yeah it’s a really fun game to play with friends and family and if you get this game I hope you enjoy!
My only problem is that there is not a different view. when you get an acorn, you have to run it to the center, but you cannot see behind you. it is very frustrating when you are trying to run but you fall off. We needddd to be able to change view points like first person.
The game is a blast as it is, but there are some definite QOL features very much needed. We need to be able to attenuate the “aim assist” of the tree, it is way too easy to nail squirrels left and right, this would be great for VR noobs or experienced squirrels VS a new tree, but in an even field the tree has a huge advantage from aim assist. Also needs a way to rejoin a game mid-session in case of the inevitable crash or connection loss.
It’s really fun, there are no glitches I can see, BUT just one feature I think should be added. If only you could look at the squirrel camp after you get an acorn. It’s really frustrating when u have the last acorn and then you fall down a hole or drown in water. PLEASE add this!
Seriously the bees knees item 9! Super fun game with other players along with you. Didn’t have too many glitches but maybe 2. Was still was smooth sailing and addicting! Would like option to turn head view a little better and possibly a way for phone users to communicate
I really like this game it’s been a while since I played this game but I played it again today and it was really fun. Great game I really think you should do a little bit more updates game developer if you even see this but overall a really good game.👍
This is a great game, but some changes could be made. 1. The tree is WAY TOO OP! You should make it to where the tiny balls to throw don’t spawn as quickly as they do. Also, although it is fun to pick up the squirrels, this is way too OP to be able to do. 2. The camera angle only really faces one way. You should be able to change it yourself, since in levels where I’m trying to retrieve an acorn a walk backwards, I always fall into a pit baca use I can’t see behind me. Overall, this is a very great game and is fun to play with friends and/or family, but making these changes would make it even more fun and challenging to play for the squirrels and the tree.
I absolutely adore this game. My family and friends play it. There is just one problem, there are no updates commonly. Im not saying i hate this game, i actually love it but there aren’t really much updates like there are only updates on halloween. But besides that i love this game so so much.
This game is so much fun get a vr player and about 6 to4 players and it is chaotic . You and your squirrel team needs to make a plan to get the acorns. Please make a squirrel that has the power to make them invisible for a short time pretty please with a with a cherry on top🥹🥹🥹🥹
Review: This is an addictive fun game to play with a group. Once you learn all of the different scales of the squirrels you can work together with teammates to defeat the tree. To the developers: It would be nice if the players of each squirrel could earn points and upgrade the squirrels skills to make them faster, stronger or withstand more damage from the tree. Also if the tree could upgrade as well. Different weapons, and lines of defense. A fun new character would be a flying squirrel that could glide short distances over slime, water etc. Overall great game and a blast to play.
This is definitely the showcase game I use for VR had adults and kids having so much fun. We had 6 phones going and never once had any connection problems so not sure about others I know that some have issues.
My family loves to play this game but most have figured out how to win as the tree in each level. Some new levels and maybe new player options would be amazing!! Please add some new items!!
This game is awesome for a party game: incredibly fun! However it can only be played when your with a vr... the game would be 100x better if there were random rooms to join or filler rooms like among us so I can play with people just using my phone or if I’m by myself on vr I can play with a filled up random lobby! Keep it up
Love this game!! It’s one of our favorite ways to pass time as siblings or with friends. All we ask is, more maps please!! We love every single one but we’ve been playing for so long, we’d love something new.
I’m new to VR gaming and wanted something that engaged a group and this was it! We were laughing and chatting about strategy, and the whole experience was a blast!! If the creators want some constructive feedback: the bots are dumb (really dumb) and it’d be nice if they had a skill level. That’s the only handicap mechanism and it’s not terrific.
We had three squirrels and the app ran flawlessly. Frame rate was buttery smooth and there didn’t appear to be any lag between the phones and the Oculus Quest. It was fun to try the different squirrel powers and come up with strategies. At first the tree seems OP but once the squirrel players make coordinated attacks it’s anyone’s game. Buttons are nicely laid out and controls are super simple. I wish more developers made VR games like this! Complaint: I wish there was at least one more level, and one more projectile option for the tree. Maybe a vine whip attack? Also there should be handicap options to help balance the players.
Great game, would be five stars if you guys would add some content and new skins? Character updates and new powers would be awesome!! When we play we get the whole family involved. Nothing quite like maxing out the squirrels against the tree! Keep it coming!
