Good Overall, improvements have meant a lot

Ok, as a pretty avid fan of AE, this is definitely a good game and a solid step-up from AQW, the new classes are cool, and it isn’t entirely awfully tedious to unlock them, something I gotta say is, I would LOVE to see shields put into the game, offhands in general, either as a, with certain(one handed)weapons you can have a second weapon(or a shield) in off hand, with specific dual-weapons(like the twin dagger stuff) and two-handed weapons(greatswords, scythes, that sort of thing) being stronger when used alone, but usable with reduced stats when using two weapons or with a shield (or just not possible to dual-wield or use a shield with them) imo it would be really nice to have, add some more customization, as well as a new type of gear to go search for, pretty sure it’d be hard to put a system like that in place but, probs worth it? The only other thing I’d like to say is it would be really cool to have different attack anims for different weapon types (Smol edit) Yo, AE, My dudes, can we get a bush parkour event race map?

I’ve tried out all the games AE has put out so far; my favorite, for the longest time, remained Adventure Quest Worlds. The epic artwork, awesome gameplay, and absorbing storytelling all culminated into an addicting, enthralling, enjoyable experience that I never would have believed possible of a 2-D game. Now, I see a game that has the potential to surpass Adventure Quest Worlds. AQ 3D, in just the Beta versions, had many of the things I loved about AQW. The unique art style and characters manifest themselves once more; the storyline and universe building are amusing and informative simultaneously. I think there’s definitely work and adjustments to be done still. The fact that all mobs are aggressive is somewhat aggravating and a feature unique to AQ 3D, and the lack of classes is somewhat limiting. However, that’s not the major point of focus at this time. The fact that matters is the game has a solid foundation, a good team working on it who have never failed to produce good work in the past, and huge potential to become the best game made by AE. I look forward to seeing where this project will go, and I know for a fact that I will be more than happy to spend money on this game once more content is added. Keep it up! UPDATE: Worth playing so just do it!

ARSTORIA here with UPDATING THE UPDATE....Yep still awesome and constant improvements (now how about that full character customization availability? ) oh and would love some mounts for character to ride besides the morphs😁anywho with plenty to do there’s something for everyone, game on all....UPDATED REVIEW: I have been playing for quite some time now and it just keeps getting better AQ3D is a fantastic game for all ages and gender, non gender, aliens, monsters or whatever beings are about online gaming with many options. I do want to suggest to do a St. Patrick’s Day event to get some more green going 😁🍀 and more options for mounts not just morphs as well pets, more female goods like face and body edits males too of course etc....because yes females play mmorpg etc..I have seen in chat so many say females don’t play online games, not true and variety is a spice of life they say....I know the wonderful dev gods are busy busy and it shows! Also support is there and on it so thank you for that, even if I am a pain in the well anyway 😉😁This game is fun and they are always improving adding etc...plus you don't have to put $$$ to play, but it does support the game. Waiting for higher levels and more options, looking forward to playing this game for a long time more....lol, but seriously.

Coming from a longtime fan of AE games

This game is finally turning into what I wanted it to be back when I contributed to the Kickstarter to get it started. I’ve played off and on a bit over the years, but recently came back. The level cap was 17 the last time I had played and there wasn’t much to do, but upon coming back it is now 35 and there’s all kinds of armor sets, rare drops, and grinds to work towards. I’ve been playing AE games since AQ classic back in ‘03 when my uncles showed me it when I was 6 years old, and this game has been giving me the enjoyment that I got back when I first played AdventureQuest all those years ago. Crazy to think because I’ve been in the US Army and deployed within that timeframe now too! The only thing I will say that I’ve noticed is a negative, is that once you get to higher levels it becomes very difficult to get on level gear. I don’t mind the epic rarity gear with the top tier stats being difficult to get, but I think there should be some more generic armor sets that scale with you as you level up. They would be common rarity so they wouldn’t have great stats, but it’d be better than grinding a few levels out and then having to grind a dungeon for hours to get some new on level gear.

Surprising pleased and intrigued for the future state of this game

This game is honestly great so far! While I haven’t been playing it for long so far, I’m still really enjoying it. When I tell you this game is fully non p2w I mean it . Sure there’s a tiny paywall, (only for certain items 99 percent cosmetic) but it’s a one time purchase that’s super cheap in comparison to other games out there. It doesn’t eat my storage, yet still looks pretty good. While I don’t like (some) aspects of the character model, I understand the Boxiness is for the very reason of saving storage. the creatures you fight and animals you find are modeled so well and look stunning. To be able to play though the whole world constantly being able to change your characters style, class, and even weapon type is so fun. The only thing I believe to be currently missing which I’m sure are upcoming are more classes, sort of like how many they had in aqw. And the character screen only shows you a picture of your class and hero name instead of your character like the prior games. But currently those are my only critiques. I’ll write an updated review later after I’ve put more time into it, but I definitely recommend you play this!!!

A Hidden Gem

Truly a masterpiece! I think this game is overshadowed by existing titles or games by lager franchises with known names and credibility, but this is one for the record books! Absolutely remarkable! The devs behind this game are open to suggestions and extremely witty. Their humor pours through the dialogue with all kinds of allusions with NPC names and a never ending supply of puns and one liners that are guaranteed to make you laugh, cry, and play on! Don’t believe me? Try to get through the first encounter with Vane without laughing or even snorting. I’ll bet you can’t! Aside from the humor, the game itself plays wonderfully! Plenty of content and endless character customization options. The ability to switch between classes at will without charge or penalty is wonderful! Some battles may make you feel like range is the best call, others may require you to get up close and dirty. Truly pick and play! You’re in control! Use your freedom! There is no shortage of quests and yes THERE IS FREE FAST TRAVEL!! I myself am tired of all the brand new carbon copy auto-quest idle farm garbage games being produced faster than McDonalds chicken nuggets, this is not one of those. You are the master of your own fate, not AI pathfinding algorithm!! Why are you still reading this?! Download the app now!!!

Exceeds expectations

I just started this game very recently so my review may be biased and updated later on. But let me tell you. If you’re looking for a good mmorpg that’s fair, fun and actually enjoyable? look no further. I dled this on a whim and didn’t think I’d enjoy it much. But I was SO wrong. Starting off one of my favorite things already is there’s this whimsical comedic dialogue here and there that actually made me smirk and smile. The game is grindy but it feels rewarding in that traditional mmo sense which I love. You can speed up crafting with the cash currency but it’s really not forced at all. It’s like war frame where you wait a certain period of time. Another thing is there is no cash shop right in your face like EVERY single other mmo. I actually accidentally found out how to get to it. In no way do I feel pressured to buy anything. This is what makes me want to invest in this game! This is what makes people feel better about their purchases. It’s supposed to a fun environment and a getaway not a give me all your money kind of thing. I also cannot wait to try the new classes coming. Keep going in this direction devs. There’s such a big market for people looking for a non greedy mmo and you’ve captured one of them.

Enemies inaccurate attacks and 100 max rank suggestions

I’m giving 1 star with this review because this has been a frustrating problem for me and others for quite a long time. When you are fighting against enemies, and you go to move out of the way before they make an attack, you will still get hit most of the time as if you were in the red attack projectile(s). PLEASE fix this. Please. It’s horrible. Make it more accurate. More responsive with player and enemy. To where if you get out of the way, you will not take any damage because you dodged their attack. I suggest this and in general strictly focusing more on improving the game play. Not events and coming out with random things most of the time, rather focusing on improvement with game play. Just think, the more you make improvements, the more players you will have and continue playing, rather than stop playing because of lack of focus in improving the game play. Another thing, with the 100 max rank with each class, why not make it to where the classes abilities become stronger rather than just put in more cosmetics? Focus on game play. And for PvP to still be fair, make it to where you are scaled to a “base level” and make it to where in PvE, abilities in each class becomes stronger with each rank so we can be and feel more powerful rather than just looking powerful because of cosmetics/armor sets.

WARNING: Players can get you banned off false report or say you said or did something

Anyone playing this game can report you for anything they make up or say and without warning it’s taken as 100% true and you are disabled. I had been playing this on my downtime and my account was closed and disabled. I contacted support and it takes days for response. I never speak with people during game play accept during missions for help. Some people in game cuss and say filthy names. Only thing I may of said is “Dang” when a fire dragon killed me in one attack move. But that’s it. WARNING DON’T SPEND MONEY OR DOWNLOAD THIS GAME YOU CAN LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY AND HARD TIME SPENT BECAUSE SOMEONE CAN JUST MAKE UP SOMETHING. A group of people that play a long time can just see your rank and all you got by working in game and just report you. Now they have your money, servers are more clear, making room for the next batch of people who will fall into same trap. Scam game This game is full of glitches and bugs. You can play a game and spent 20 minutes fighting a boss and then it will freeze and log you out. Servers are always down and they do maintenance without letting you know. I was in a boss battle taking forever when they said server reset in 15 seconds!!!! Are you freaking kidding me. This happened to me several times. Very annoying. If you thinking of this game try another one these guys are click bait

Healthy mobile mmo.

NEW REVIEW: I started playing some other mobile MMOs. This one was my first and I feel spoiled. The other mobile MMOs have tons of content, however— its all just a facade to cover up that they’re just gambling apps. AQ3D isn’t a gamble. There’s only two types of currency, and the only thing stuck behind a paywall is a class that is no more powerful than the free ones. Some cosmetics you pay for, but you KNOW WHAT YOURE BUYING. There is a chest system, I never felt it was intrusive or necessary. Anyway, just wanted to update my review to reflect my journey into mobile games lol. I hope this one stays as honest as it is right now. Cheers OLD REVIEW: I like this game very very much for there is nothing you can’t get for free really and the prices seem fair otherwise. HOWEVER. My old eyes and fat thumbs struggle so, so much with the size of the buttons and fonts in this game. Please allow an option to scale up button sizes, it is the one thing holding me back from playing more. I “donated” $10 to buy a mount so I do support this game for what it is but would love accessibility options. Thanks so much!

On My List Of One Of The Best Mobile Games!

I have a list of one of the best mobile games i have played in my experience and i have played quite a handful of mostly all genre. This is on the list of both one of the best mobile games and one of my favorite games. The classes, the cosmetics, the method of earning the gear, cosmetics, etc. The story, the gameplay, the limitless cool yet also funny artstyle and dialog, even the the dlc/micro transactions options. And last but not least the fact that the devs themselves like to visit every once in a while to hang with their fans and even do big world events! I wouldn't even expect or ask of that, nor do i count it to the judging of this game but since they did it i give them a bonus. Good game great job and keep up the good work. And last but not least thank you artix for being such awesome developers and for making such a great game. 😁👍 P.S. i rarely like paying for games like these but i look forward to getting myself guardian. Not only for the awesome gear but also for the support. Uve earned it. Lol

Great game! Small Bugs

The game is amazing considering all the cross platform capabilities and fun quests! However there are some bugs that a nooby to technology wouldn’t be able to handle. Sometimes (at least on iPhone 6) a certain region of the map doesn’t load properly and continues to stay glitched until you delete the app and reinstall. Other small glitches I’ve noticed are easy to get rid of with the clear cache button. The point is unless you learn to use these strategies your going to have a bad time with glitches and bugs. Other than that the game has a fun storyline, a great community, fun live events, and a bunch of amazing updates. I play all the time and would recommend it to other gamers, especially if you have been playing AE games since Dragon Fable. They made some changes to the game and fighting style, but they still have the same feel as all the ones that came before it. In conclusion I’d have to say that this game is great so far and has the potential to be legendary once it’s complete!

Still loving this game

Been playing for over a year now and still find enjoyment. It’s probably not going to be a challenge for most hardcore gamers but if you are a casual player, this is a great cross between a regular mmorpg and and “app” game. Easy to play and easy to set down and walk away if you need to. It does have stuff you can pay for, but you really do not have to pay at all to play AQ3D. I found I like buying dragon crystals and some of the online merch to help support the game, and I get extras for it like cosmetic armor, pets or travel forms, (the way to travel fast). There are many special virtual items in game that you can pay for with in game gold or by questing so you really don’t have to spend a cent but you’ll probably find you want to. Now that I’m max level I pretty much do not spend as much time as I initially did but they constantly update content and have new events which I’ll participate in so I still continue to play and enjoy the game.

Great Game

I’ve been playing for a while, sadly not a lot haha, but I’ve enjoyed this game too much that every time I’m on my phone this game is the first thing that’s played. The cinematic scenes and gameplay is really awesome and, without a doubt, the best from any MMORPG games I’ve played on mobile. Though there is one slight factor I hate the most, you have to be a pay to play player in order to gain the best perks. Yea that’s part of the deal, but you can get good morphs and such, but wait...you have to be guardian to have it...ok let me check the price....W O A H $20? I could buy a good computer game from steam with that kind of money or some skins in League of Legends (sorry for the references lol). But yea also the level/exp system is a bit harsh since it’s hard to level outside of the main story arc. Regardless, this game is very fun and I recommend this to the newer gens to MMORPG games since the other ones are out of date and probably no match for this haha, some of you people might disagree, but this game is keeping its graphical promises.

Hello, my in-game name is Abaddon Apollyon. Dragon Guardian. I’ve went by others since this game was released but, this is the current. Anyways, I had a suggestion about adding a feature that allows us to save cosmetic sets that we put together. Doing so, would allow us to quickly switch between sets instead of putting each one on one by one. That is it. -PS As I’ve said, I have been playing this game since the release of it and I love every second of it. You tell an amazing story and a lot of your characters and the names you use have deeper meanings behind them that a child most likely would never think of. Trust me, I notice all of them and this is what has kept me playing so long, among others. This is also why I have spent around $1k on the cosmetics alone and why I ask for the feature I suggested upon. I would recommend this game to anyone. Of all ages. Thank you.

Nostalgia Bomb

When I was younger, I found Adventure Quest by complete happenstance. I fell in love with it immediately. As Artix put out more games, I played them out of loyalty. Dragonfable, Epicduel, AQworlds, Mechquest. I was hooked and enjoyed all of them. After school, I would get home, hop on my laptop, and make my rounds on every game. Went like that for years. After I lost access to a computer, I forgot about them. Even when I got another laptop, I just hadn’t thought about them. Then this showed up. I’ve been playing 3D for about a day and it’s reignited my love. This is just as fantastic as I remember BattleOn games being. I’ve forgotten my old accounts or I’d continue at least Adventure Quest, but I’m genuinely considering making a new one for it, just to relive a big part of my growth. Artix, you shaped a big chunk of my humor, love of storytelling that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and my taste in video games. Thank you. I’m so happy to be enjoying Adventure Quest once again. An easy 5 stars.

3 Years of Fun

I’ve been a fan of the Adventure Quest games for years. This one is by far my favorite! I love it so much I’ve been playing for over 3 years pretty regularly. I enjoy being able to choose a different class whenever I want and whenever there’s a new part of the story released it’s really exciting. These releases seem to be few and far between however. When you’re waiting they release some fun activities to keep you occupied, but if you reach the max level they don’t really have any point. The story that goes along with these mini quests can be amusing though. The max level cap is raised so rarely you don’t have to log in for months at a time. Other than those two negatives the game is great. You get to battle monsters, craft gear, and collect all the pets! There’s lots of different areas to explore and collect titles from. I’ve been playing this game for 3 years and they keep me coming back for more. Love the game and definitely recommend it! Battleon!

Is AQ3D worth staying

Along with the previous reviews I submitted, the game seems to be going downhill. Every time the game updates, I have to lower my game settings; granted I am on mobile and this game most likely favors pc users. The current update is no different; I couldn’t even enter the game; loading screen speeds have slowed significantly. You can’t call it multi-platform if all your mobile users are either disconnecting, or can’t log into your game. Updated- the devs started to crack down on the previously stated issues. I think now I have only a couple is gripes, firstly is the game’s slow progression. After 5 years in beta I thought at least the storyline would’ve been completed, oh but no. I don’t really care for the PvP system in the game. I don’t understand why players jump everywhere( as if they think that counts as dodging 🤣) during duels. Also, can’t wait til the next class comes out, I wander what it’s gonna be 🤔

Fun game

The storyline has a lot of good humor. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is just the class thing. I hope to see the ability to become a Vampire or Werewolf as a subclass with some special abilities and maybe unique passives added for all classes. I’m also ready for the story to continue as I have been max level for quite some time now. This game has great potential, it’s just moving very, very slow. Maybe that is a good thing as it means they are being thorough. I just hate seeing players lose interest and move to other games due to the fact they have been max level and have no new missions or reasons to continue on. I really think the sub classes would spice things up in a good way. Maybe have more than just vampire and werewolf subclasses too.

This is the best mmo rpg I’ve played for mobile and the only one I’ll play I play around 3 to 4 hours a day that’s how much I love this game but one thing that would make it better is if you made the combat a little more realistic like a easier dark souls I mean that as in when you hit someone they will possibly fall to the ground or get shook or stunned and add like a evade or roll to dodge the attacks and make it easier to kill enemies I think most enemies have to much health and this is the last one I want to add and the one I think you would want to add the least that is blood not like super gory just when you hit them or they hit you there blood on you when you get hit and blood on your enemies when you hit them and and like a blood splatter every swing that lands thank you for and please think about adding some of these

Fantabulous game!!!

I absolutely love this game. I’ve been playing it for about half a year or so and the graphics and story lines are just captivating. I can see that the creators have gone above and beyond for this game and are continuing to do so. I can’t wait to see what is in store for this game. I’m already at lvl 27 and I’m so happy with where I’m at. I would love to see a mailbox introduced to the game so that we can send mail to one another when the other is offline. I’ve made a few good friends on AQ3D who have different time zones and I keep missing them. Aside from that, I’m running out of things to do, I do the daily quests etc and participate in whatever ongoing events that are present but I’m really looking forward to new content. Again, AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING game! I can foresee someone bringing in more content eventually, I just don’t know when. I have no complaints for this game. :)

My personal experience with the game

I’ve only been playing the game for a little bit but I think I’ve got a pretty good idea of what I think of this game. In pretty much ever aspect this game is pretty great. The graphics, combat, and quality cutscenes. So why a 3/5? Well I don’t know if this is a problem only affecting me, but there is no music. In the beginning where there’s this big battle and everything is supposed to be exciting I there is no music, just the sounds of my footsteps and my attacks, and yes I check the settings and music was supposed to be on. I heard music maybe 3 times. Once when I entered the first town Battleon, and another two times when enter the inn at said town. It really kills it for me when I’m watching this cool cutscene of my character being surround by monsters and then getting saved at the last minute when all I hear is forest ambience and no actual music. Like I said I don’t know if this was jus5 something that effected me but it really did kill the game for me.

LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH

I have played thousands of other mmorpgs and none of them compare to this one other mmorpgs the main quest is mostly the only thing that you get good rewards from well this game Has no main quest also I love the graphics my dad is a founder of the game just pointing that out also I love it how you added in the snow cya ears and how you can equipped it just for looks instead for gear I got this awesome helm but it was really ugly so I equipped it as my armor but equipped the white ears as my costume my only problem is how auto fight forces you to fight monsters and how monsters always gang up on you but besides that this game perfect all the way to the t so I will give you a glowing ⭐️5 stars⭐️ if I could I would give it six stars also plz open the pet shop soon and can you add a white wolf cub to it plz and PLZ IM BEGGING YOU DONT MAKE ALL THE ANIMALS COST DIAMONDS PLZZ 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Well Done, but something is missing!

Awesome game and love the fact you can’t auto quest. I’ve met many helpful players during my questing and have had some FUN. I’m max level and have obtained the gear and most of the cosmetics I’ve wanted. At this point I only play to do my daily quests to unlock more classes, but I jump off afterwards. I use to always be excited to play and grind, but now I feel like there’s nothing to do besides running around changing outfits (which is fun for a little). I feel like this game is missing something. I wish there was a minor talent tree for classes - maybe I’m too use to the old WOW, but I love the idea of specialization as it makes me feel that I’m a unique mage etc. I also do find the pvp area empty, but I know only guardians can test atm, so I get it. Need more fun things to do and I find myself getting bored!

This game is awesome.

Ok, so idk what to write here, but I’ve tried about 5 different MMORPGs, and this one is by far the best. The graphics are good, but not so complicated as to make my device lag. Game runs smoothly (well, except for that time where my health got stuck at 3% and I couldn’t attack. That was weird). Attack mechanics are okay, but no worse than all the others. (Button spamming is fun, right?) Character creator is actually better than most, although I’d like if there was a facepaint/markings option that allowed for makeup, war paint, scars, etc. The plot is fairly good, and all the enemies are cool looking. Also, very good puns (I was cringing a lot, that’s how you know they're good). However, the chat box color NEEDS to be changed. I was in the Underworld and was frantically clicking everywhere because I couldn’t see the chat box at all. Annoying. Also, maybe attack combos, like when you use two abilities quickly and it does cool stuff? That would be nice. Anyhow, amazing game, not overly serious, very cool. My main complaint is how long it takes the updates to reach the AppStore. I’m actually writing this review while waiting for the update. P.S. is it just me or does there need to be a racetrack somewhere? UPDATE: A way to get free DC is needed ASAP.

Classic and Great

This is a growing game so you may play through quickly, but it's always worth it. There are always new events and Easter eggs and I love reading the developer notes. Characters are hilarious and the humor is good and clean in classic AQ fashion. Character customization is impressive and although you don't NEED to spend real money to excel or have fun costumes, the designers have a way of making me want to give support just because their team and their work is so great. Bonus, the community of players are also generally very nice and professional; an educated child shouldn't run into any dangerous conversation. I have been told through pm that I had a "hot" character but I ignored it and have not encountered any harassment or really inappropriate conversation and I keep my character max level.

Amazing Game Great Dev Team!

This is the only game thus far from the App Store that I have downloaded and have played daily. I enjoy this game! Love the costumes! You can play whatever class you want, fit whatever role you’re needed as. I love questing, but I especially love finding things out on my own, so therein lies the fun for me at least. Upgrades to armor and weapons are not that hard to achieve, even if there’s a bit of grind. It’s not a pay to win game which I love. And the cut scenes in this game give me a serious case of the giggles. 🤪🤣 Player base is friendly and willing to help out if you are having trouble killing a mob in particular a boss mob. The devs are caring guys who in the case of game issues like server crashes will address the problem and give updates as they are available. They care. 😊

Great game but needs improvement

Very fun colorful game. It’s a great game but the problem is there is not enough depth in it. No real end game it’s all cosmetic. I played this game years ago and it was awesome but it’s those games you play and when you finish you are left with now what? There is no trading and trading brings the community together and gold is worth more. Gold in game is a bit pointless. No mounts just Travel forms. Pets in the game are just cosmetic when they could be made with an actual purpose such maybe giving you a bit of a boost depending on the pet. Fishing has no real use aside from event. Fishing would be made with purposes such as adding cooking. Adding cooking where you can craft your potions such as mana or health and so more …. Mining and wood crafting gathering skills. Crafting where you can craft amor parts with tailoring, wood crafting ,weapon crafting etc.

So I have been playing for ages now, ages, and I love the game a lot! Sadly I missed the original Kickstarter which upset me but it’s ok because now moglin Kickstarter is here! I’m on Red Dragon and I have played quite a bit with a few devs now! Glad the devs are very hands on with the players and social media! I a true fan from the start, I have helped lots of players and even discovered other fellow youtubers on AQ3D! Gold Raven, and AQ3D with bailey. Bailey and I met up and helped some people through the new parkour and along the way I met some very nice players like myself! Absolutely amazing work

First off I’d like to say this is the first mmmorpg on mobile I’ve played that actually allows you to grind for gear, yes their are in app purchases like every game BUT you don’t need to even touch it if you know what you’re doing. The game is very story driven and fighting with friend actually has benifits for example im a worrier and there are some creature that become Much easier when you have a ranged player helping, the game allows almost every main quest to have good gear as rewards at some point and if something looks cool but isn’t powerful you can use it as a cosmetic (you have you’re good gear on but you’re charecter displays the gear you like) the game is an all around perfect mmo for those who are tired of pay to win and pay to get gear games.

Increase Class XP Earned PLEASE!

It’s a good update but I hate starting over from the class and skills we already had been locked but I get the concept you gotta earn your skills. Why do you guys have to remove Party Sneevils it was our only way of actually getting somewhere in the ranking system. Now after the recent update everything is hard to rank now enemies I kill give me 1 xp per kill and on Dage’s Challenge or Survival in Underworld only gives me 20 xp max. I would appreciate it if you guys could bring back the Party Sneevils or at least give us a way to actually rank up faster because right now it takes forever to rank up unless you have those classes where you can just easily do daily and use those tokens to rank up.

Best game ever

Been an Artix fan for years started with dragonfable. I’m happy to see a mobile platform for an adventure quest game. I have one suggestion before beta ends. The other than the initial ones you can start with should be gained only after completing quests. Skills earned as your class rank levels up I miss the class rank. Now I love that you get preset skills 4 of them but the other classes that are not basic or dragonslayer should not have preset skills.. please bring back the class rank. The skills should be able to change out as your class skill rank levels up. Also differing races. Like the ware wolves and vampire and others like it. Some should be a choice at startup like the drakel but the vamps and Wolves should be a choice mid game. Thank you

Love the game but hate certain things

After spending 50 dollars on the game, to get premium guardian, I STILL have inventory issues. Constantly having a full inventory upon grinding just a little in every new region I go to. They need to fix the item stack size, and the ability to have multiple stacks of most items or just increase inventory size to 100. Bank vaults aren’t convenient. An information about how to get an item would be helpful. There should be a free swing option for basic attacks, as it would be combat grouping more fluid. Lastly, my big issue, is the constant DCing on mobile (iPhone XR). Fix the DCing I’ll give this 3 stars. Fix item management I’ll give it 5. Tweak the combat and I’ll show you a good time 😏 That being said there is a lot of good things about this free game so I do highly recommend it. Please don’t delete this review as my last one was deleted after a dev reply (which I never got to read).

Could be the best pvp mmo ever

At this stage of development the way the game functions is great as an mmo for pve and fun for pvp. However, there are a couple things that could greatly improve the pvp experience and shouldn’t be too difficult to implement. If these changes are implemented in some way, it would be as nuanced and exciting an experience as ESO pvp without the lag and balance issues that ESO has always had. 1. Each class need a roll dodge and block 2. Each class needs access to a burst heal or damage shield (More than just the cross skill access to the Paladin skill) 3. Each class needs non cross skill DoT skill and HoT skill 4. Each class needs access to a purge of negative effects. Finally after these combat mechanics are added to the either classes, or as a system that can be used universally by all classes like say, a talent system, an open world pvp zone with objectives that are ONLY pvp related would be amazing in this game. However, it would only be fun if these mostly defensive elements are added. 100% balance between players will still totally be possible with these mechanics, it will just make it more dynamic.

I’ve gotta say, I love all of AE’s games! I grew up playing the OG Adventure quest so this game is a real treat in the nostalgia department. I love all the updates going into it over time! I think a good idea, however, would be to implement a collections section. There’s a lot of things in the game to collect, like armor, weapons, etc. but not a lot of space to store it all. The stuff I do have turns into clutter and I forget it’s even in my bank. I think a good idea would be to add a collections tab so you can safely delete an item with out worrying since you can get it back later from collections for a small price in gold or whatever. Destiny uses this system and it’s been great.

Diamond in the rough

I’ve never felt compelled to write a review about a game until now. I came across this game by randomness and I was immediately drawn to it. I was an avid player on adventure quest worlds so the nostalgic feeling is great. Gameplay wise, everything is standard from combat to gear/costume customization to the UI. There is also no auto-play feature and NO p2w aspects. But what really puts this game over anything else I’ve played is seeing the time and effort invested by the developers. Weekly updates, strong community relations, even their level of transparency with the fans on their current projects and future goals. With that in mind the game can’t be judged by what it is now but how it will be as the year goes on. Keep it up!

Okay , Apologies , Amazing Game , Amazing Graphics , New Update is Amazing.

I have complained in the past about bugs and glitches , there is literally so many ways you can customize the incredible number of different classes you can easily change back and forth simply and quickly . There are so many items , one complaint is the cost of storage slots in the game Bank , and your pack , it costs money to expand , but the developers of this amazing game have to make a living. I’ve played most of these type on a PC , Warcraft , on and on , each amazing in it’s own way , but this is by far the best , single player , multi platform , RPG and adventure game in any App store.

Pretty fun

The game is very well written for a little ok’ free mobile game. The skill trees are lacking a bit, quite a bit (and very repetitive to use) and it seems by the time you get to the World Tree that heavy grinding is the compensation for a lack of overall game content, but also at World Tree, it was refreshing to see the the devs didn’t resort to repetition in each of the four elemental temple rooms, and instead made each quite different in story and layout. So if there is less girth to the game, it seems so far the be a little more “full” feeling than a lot of other mmorpg games where you get overloaded with options in how you play, just be prepared to kill lots of the same enemies after you clear a region’s quests so that you have the right gear to move forward...

Holy crap, AQ is back!

Excited to see the game. So far, the world and characters have plenty of personality, the animation is great, the graphics look nice, and the option to add braids to any hairstyle is brilliant (I'm a sucker for customization). Sound still needs some work, especially in cutscenes. Some small effects for the attacks and movement and maybe some conversational noises in place of actual voice acting. Without those things, the cutscenes and conversations are rather empty. As others have mentioned the arrow is not ideal. I'm used to that kind of navigation, personally, but visually it detracts too much from the focus of the game: your character. That tiny yellow arrow is tucked away in a corner. If I have to look at it, can it be near my character? Perhaps a circle with an arrow at my feet? I know everyone else does it that way, but there's a reason for it. Speaking of navigation, I have a suggestion: an autorun feature. It's small and probably not high on the to-do list, but would be much appreciated by this user :D Overall, my first impression is a good one. Love it so far and can't wait to see the finished product!

Please keep your kids safe and far away from this game

This game is so much fun for kids and adults alike until you encounter the lowlife predators who lurk there. Common sense dictates that a game should moderate and enforce permanent bans on aggressive adults who openly seek minors to solicit for lewd and unlawful interactions, but this game fails to do so on a regular basis. One such predator has been there for years and has been banned, but when he comes back, he is back for weeks or months targeting minors and others without interruption. This game essentially gives predators access to underaged players and disregards their safety and well-being. This game either needs to do the bare minimum to keep predators out, or the rating needs to be changed to 18+.

Clipping Issues

I’ve played this game for a fair amount of time and so far, I find it quite enjoyable despite being in closed beta. However, I do notice that player models, mainly female, have clipping issues mainly with hair, helmets, capes, etc. However, this issue is pretty unnoticeable as not all items/ hairstyles clip with each other but there are some. I hope in the near future, this small issue will be dealt with and unfortunately, I am inexperienced when it comes to making player models and the like so I probably shouldn’t be criticizing. It is still an enjoyable game regardless. :) P.S I hope that some old items will get retextured or more defined such as the Dragon Champion Crown. I like the look of it but it looks... low quality.

This game is really fun haven’t played much mmo games but this game is definitely a really good one been playing for about 8 months and still get on everyday it has a really good community and active players and familiar faces you see in the game everyday I feel like this game really brings out the multiplayer and online side of things like with public housing clans , pvp and the many new events they add you see everyone get together and explore and try to complete these events it really gets older players back into the game to see what type of new things they add and allows everyone to kind of bond and experience this thing together

Great to see the improvements!

I stopped playing aq3d a while back. After a year of not playing, I decided to reinstall the game again. And I have to say… it is worth it. I do apologize for leaving the game, but it sure feels great to be back. I am astonished at how much have changed. The movements are more smooth, the storyline are more in-depth. Like it actually feels like you’re in the story, especially when your character is included to the short action scenes. Like whaaaa!!! That’s fricking amazing! Coming back to aq3d after a year… you can just see the improvements plain as day. You guys are doing a great job, please keep it going!

Best MMORPG EVER!

As an mmorpg lover, I was looking for something good. I tried many rpgs and couldn’t find one that worked well with a great plot, good graphics and awesome gameplay, that is until I found AQ3D. My favorite part of the game is that it is more than just a mmo, it’s a community with players and good people willing to help on tough quest. With its advanced plot and awesome enemies, this is easily the best MMORPG of all time. The only thing I have a problem with is the defender and dragon class, which are advanced awesome classes that you have to pay money for instead of earning it through level ups, quests or requirements. Other than that, thank you Artix Entertainment for such an awesome game!

Almost perfect!

I’ve been searching for an MMORPG that feels like a PC MMO. I don’t want auto-play(watch the game pay itself), or pay to win (I’ll invest in a good game and spend money on my own.). Also, as Apple has introduced PC-level CPU/GPU and fast unified RAM, my gaming setup has changed. I have an iPad plugged into a docking station with a ton of peripherals, surround sound, reclining gaming chair, keyboard/mouse, etc. I’d prefer to game with keyboard and mouse now that Apple introduced it to iPadOS recently. Almost EVERY game doesn’t allow it, and the ones that do aren’t “true MMORPG’s”. Then there’s this game! It feels like a legit MMORPG for PC, the controls are aaaaalmost perfect (except you can’t strafe for some reason), and it’s charming. I can see myself getting lost in this game for hours and hours. And so far there’s a lot of players. Thank you to the developers for making it VERY hard to dislike this game. You’ve nearly made the perfect game, and it works so well with my setup on a big monitor with the graphics cranked up to max.

love this, love it. nothing wrong that you guys can’t see, you’re more about it than bungie is to halo. some ideas i thought would be interesting though!!! a 3v3 arena would be amazing! it wouldn’t have to be too complex! maybe call it a party duel? parties can duel each other as well, which opens up a whole new experience within your experience. imagine seeing the differences in your classes fighting styles immediately! it would be amazing, even if you had to limit a party duel to 3 people at max in a party because i don’t know how things work, if the server can handle it, whatever you get the jist. keep being you aq! - love sqorb, a loyal guardian.

Add controller support

So I just began this today and it’s actually a ton of fun and brings back memories of old-school mmos. I know y’all have said on many posts y’all would like to add controller support, but that’s something y’all would have already done if y’all were ever going to. Either way, I’m having fun with the game and it’s really cool having a true mmo experience in your pocket just to bring out every now and then. My mains are FFXIV and ESO. I have wanted one to mess around with on my phone though, and while Black Dessert Mobile looks good, it’s auto play which completely ruins it. This here is a true mmo.

The game is great

So I’ve been playing for two days now and I can say it does have a few minor bugs but nothing game breaking you can just restart the game to fix them but I would like to see a scraping mechanic added since a lot of the items you get are 0 gold so I was thinking that you could scrap those items into parts the mob would drop instead of the item like the dagger you get from the green lizard thing you could scrap it into a shard which also drops from the lizards just a thought but otherwise the game is great and should be played and noticed more

Amazing game! Constructive criticism tho

I’ve played this game for over a year, and I love it! only thing is I’ve kind of come at a stand still on things to do. I would love to see focus on a barter system and trade with other players. It would make gold more worthwhile to farm and just be a great concept for the game. I played Everquest for years and one of my favorite aspects of the game was being able to interact and trade with other players. Would be nice to have the level cap go up or have some alternate abilities to focus on as well, but like I said it is an amazing game and I have enjoyed playing it very much!
