Only Mossing one Thing

Seems like a great replacement for Pushbullet which discontinued their iOS app. Only thing I’m missing is the ability to quick share links from Chrome. I have to currently copy the link from Chrome, close Chrome, open AirDroid, select Desktop, paste and send. Needs to be a quick share option.

Air droid doesn’t work on google chrome for windows 10

Went to all the trouble of getting the two AirDroid apps and then visiting the site on my computer. Went to try and send myself anything but need to link my devices for no real good reason. I get confronted with a pop up telling me I can’t set the app up to work unless I’m using chromeOS. There’s an alternative button option saying it’ll use http instead of https to sync but then you pick that option and it reloads and warns you about needing chromeOS again putting you in a perpetual loop about needing chromeOS. Can I even use this app to just text msgs to my other device to begin with? I have no way to know for certain. Far too much work just to get bugged into a loop.

Waste of time

I’m surprised at the people who rated high. Maybe it’s their own people. This is a waste of time. Downloaded and linked my laptop, can see only the images, not videos. Downloaded an image from my phone to laptop but can’t open it. It asks to install an extension which you have to buy from the Microsoft store. Only thing I could do it upload a pic from laptop to phone, which you can send by WhatsApp or email and may be faster. I don’t believe I wasted so much time on this. I wish I could rate 0, but the minimum is 1.

But when I am using this on iPad, it is a bit inconvenient. If a landscape mode is available, it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Needs work…specially for the premium price it charges

I purchased the yearly 3 node license and it is nothing but unstable. Kicks you off the display with notice to permit your connection in the apps permissions settings which has been done over and over. Phones are a standard Samsung A716u and Sony Xperia I II (sony works longer but eventually gives the same problem). “Please tap start now on the phone” is the exact message.

Simple, fast

I used the AirDroid Web feature and it promptly set up a web server on the local WiFi. On my desktop (running Ubuntu) I opened the URL in a browser. Some brief handshaking later, I could transfer photos, videos, etc in either direction. Exactly what I wanted.

The only viable option I've found to replaced Pushbullet

It was a shame Pushbullet left the app store but I understand why they did. AirDroid so far is the only best alternative I've found on the app store. It does essentially what Pushbullet did but with higher file sizes at the free version. I'm strongly considering paying for the premium plan because of how well this app has been fulfilling my daily needs and wants when it comes to swapping files back and forth from my Windows PC. Please keep up the good work!

Airdroid

The worst, does not include feature to establish wifi connection as stated thru local ip number as all others do, only has ability to use with other Airdroid app from same company, a little selfish and limits users by long dragging signup process which lead me to sleep through the nagging ordeal, wonder what company keeps the ratings up. Not truly worth it for me. Need local ip wifi transfer without using same app in all my devices including my PC.

Does exactly what I need it too

It’s not the cleanest system but it’s free version does exactly what I want it to do and it does it well. Especially cause I wanted a quick and easy way to share files between my IPhone my IPad and my Surface Book 3.

Best app!

This thing is the best it’s a easy way to transfer and view photos and files to a pc and any other iOS device also can you add the desktop view like on the web server I really like air droid. 😀

Assuming makes an asp out of u and me

Tried to sign up, but for some reason, my email was delayed about 5 minutes. Their verification allows only 30 seconds. So I could not sign up. And since I had no other choice but to back out of the process, I can never sign up. Why do you assume everyone is right next to the strongest tower? Sorry I won’t sit on your servers either.

Can’t scroll when selecting photos to send

I’m giving this a one-star review because I can’t scroll through my photos when I try to send them. This seems like a basic feature that should be included in the file transfer. I basically couldn’t use the app to transfer files between my phone and PC because of this.

Returned from hiatus

It appears I loaded app in 2017, and now in 2021 back. WhatsApp has clone apps for iOS but then due to my old iOS 12.5.5 (?) I lost connectivity to my iPhone cell. I remembered this app!

The finger sensitivity is so fast and that's annoying

This app deserves 5 stars and if y'all fix this issue I will rate it 5 stars Ok this is the issue: When I try to scroll through the selection, it selects photos and videos by mistake. I mean the finger sensitivity is so so fast and that's annoying you can't select what you've wanted! You must get back and remove the selected ones then select what you want and then again it selects a whole group of content by mistake and it's keep going on and on.... Hope to fix 🔧

Free accounts are far too limited

Yet at the same time it’s not worth paying a subscription for just wanting a few simple features and not the entire suite. Every single app we use doesn’t deserve a sub fee, most deserve one time payments.

Super fast and Hella easy!

In the time it took Google Photos to back up one of my movies, I have transferred 14. And not small ones. I love this app. I’m keeping this app.

Was going to install this as an alternative to push bullet, but immediately saw ads when I opened the app, so I uninstalled. Guess I’ll look somewhere else for an alternative.

I don't usually write reviews but the latest update is trash. It won't allow you connect to PC unless you register for an account on their website. Seriously? I just need a simple tool to transfer my photo. Why on earth would I register a new account for that? Don't we have enough username/passwords already?

works great, except one thing

everything works great except when im done transferring files to my new phone, i have to download one by one. is there a way to do multiple files at once?

Missing Feature

Works great except the app does not have an iOS share menu. The experience is watered down: having to click the share Icon in an app, copy what I wanted (usually a Reddit link) open airdroid > devices > destination device > paste > send. Instead of it being all in a share menu. Trying to find and alternative to Microsoft’s “Share on pc” and was using Pushbullet till I was fed up with the lack of notifications on iOS since the app hasn’t been updated in 2 years.

Waste of time , I thought it was for sharing files . I own a business , was trying to make things a little easier. Turned out to be some music listening and games made no sense to me . My bank was made aware of it as well .

Finally! A fully functional MDM app that is multi-OS!!!

Loooove AirDroid!!! This app is a MDM Godsend! It took a little while for me to learn all the functionalities, but it was well worth it!!!

Super Disappointed

After installing this on both my phone and laptop after you try connecting it only then tells you that you have to pay for wired usage.

Fix

All my text messages ain’t showing up if l login on the AirDroid web browser on my phone or laptop. Can someone help why my text messages ain’t reflecting on browser?

Can only see 48 photos

No paging or any option to see more. Gave up seems like pretty basic thing to have to try and fogure out. Same on Brave and Edge for Ubuntu

Doesn’t work as advertised

I was looking to transfer files from PC to iPhone. Just music files. The app says it does that. Doesn’t work. Says ‘file available in 7 days.’ Meh. Delete.

Zero if I could

“If you want to use this app within China…" App keeps logging me out. I’m not in China. My work vpn doesn’t route me to or from China. Why am I seeing that prompt for phone validation?

Not suitable for files and videos more than 1GB

Few times it’s sending and most of the times it’s not.. Transfer rate is 1MBPS.. Very slow..

Can send files from tablet to iPhone but cannot send from iPhone to tablet.
