Would love to see us be able to manage our debit cards on the app to state that we are going on a trip and put in dates and places so that the cards don’t get locked. I believe you had this on the other app.
Convoluted balance display and mobile deposit doesn’t work
If you were looking for an app to help you keep track of your accounts, their balance display is will not help you do that (at least not with any accuracy). Don’t expect to come away having a confident understanding of what your balances are - especially if there are items being presented during the course of the day. Most of the time they are duplicated transactions showing as well (which will sometimes impact your available balance…according to the app). Second, if you were wanting a mobile app to allow you to mobile deposit, good luck. This mobile deposit app doesn’t work 90% of the time, which means you get to get in your vehicle and go to one of two locations in town (and hope that they’re open during regular after office hours). And the staff won’t help you to get it resolved. This last part is more reflective of the institution, and not the app. God forbid you can’t get to the bank to go make your deposit (because the mobile deposit doesn’t work) and there are items that are coming out of your account soon. Altana FCU will make sure that they pay your items in a way that allows them to charge as many courtesy pay fees as possible. LOOK FOR A LOCAL BANK IN TOWN, RATHER THAN UTILIZING THIS INSTITUTION.
I have been a member with Altana for years and have always enjoyed their user friendly app. So nice to open the app and see all of your accounts, balances, and due payments. Now the app is difficult to navigate and cluttered. Also difficult for people with poor eyesight or older individuals to see some of the font due to size and color. Very disappointed with this new version and hoping Altana will do the right thing when they see how many disappointed customers they have. I believe new features can be added while still retaining the old format.
I don’t think they should force their members to go along with this. We have banked there for 30 yrs.! I can’t afford, and this goes for a lot of people, to pay for a new device to handle this new app. I’ve never heard of this happening for any other app.! It’s unfair they are doing this! It’s forcing us to go to a different credit union or bank! It’s the little things that keep people happy! We are so unhappy and angry with this change! 😡
I was forced into the new app!! It is harder to see, and harder to navigate! Everything is so small and hard to read. Some things are in a green field which also makes it hard to read. I loved the old version, why mess with this????? It is enough to make me close my account there. I don’t see how I can navigate between my funds and manage them without calling the bank each time!!!! This is forcing me to give it one star, so you can read my post.
I like using the mobile app for my online banking but I wish it was usable on other mobile devices like electronic watches. I can’t always get to my phone but would like the balance when I order at a restaurant to use Apple Pay for example. I feel app needs more features.
Very difficult to have a business account with Altana. They have only very limited way to fund the account and if you’re from out of town it’s almost impossible for the first several months since they don’t accept mobile deposits. Other banks with business accounts allow Zelle, but Altana does not.
The fact that this couldn’t have just been an update is wildly inconvenient. I had to download a brand new app and the new one doesn’t even work. The old app worked fine and now I’m having issues getting into my account. If I could give 0 stars I would
Came in to get a replacement debit card. Last week I hear of people gettin in and out but I don’t live close to town so I don’t wanna make three bum trips for nothing. How to I get to speak to a teller to access my funds online can’t make payments cuz fraud.. go see les at independence they like Native American business.
