And exciting option

I have been using the service for several years now, and absolutely love almost everything about it. It brings such joy to so many people and although I hate the fact that people don’t write cards much anymore and send them through the mail, this is an amazing alternative. The customer service representative are very helpful and quite lovely themselves. There is one problem, however, I sent so many of these cards that I’m running out of choices because many go to the same family and they all see the of the relatives. When you want to send a card, you want it to be something the person has not seen or received before. There needs to be more of a selection more that are funny. Thank you so much though for everything because people absolutely love them.

Love it!

I love this app especially the SmashUps but I love it even more now that we can type the recipient’s name in some cards. Unfortunately, not everybody’s name was in the selections offered so this is just a great addition! Even if you choose to subscribe I think it’s worth it. A really nice card at the store is like $5 & up, this app makes it so easy to send and offers many different occasions. Honestly, seeing a loved one’s handwriting on hand written cards is wonderful keepsake but also appreciate the convenience and instant joy these E-cards provide. I never write reviews but felt compelled to share how much I love these (and no I wasn’t paid for this lol).

Terrific app

Favorite features: decent selection of cards, the app has ability to track of events, birthdays, etc if you allow, and easy to use. I use this fun app all the time. Unfortunately, there are several names I need not listed and not many options for adding a name. And the very limited card selections that you can add a name aren’t applicable in the Smashups. (I do hope they get more fun Smashup options with or without the option). It appears they continue to build the name list. There are so many names and spelling variances I’m certain it takes time. There are times I get an “oops” pop up box that something is wrong with their system so they can’t show the preview, or sometimes unable to send a card…but that is usually quick. All in all it’s a great app!

Happy Cards

I have been sending at least 40 of these cards to family and friends every year for more than a decades every time I want to make someone happy, cheer them up, express sympathy, make them smile on holidays or celebrate them. I keep a copy of the cards I send by date and year so I don’t send anyone the same card twice. I especially love the talking cards when I can tell the picture what to say and l’m grateful American Greeting Cards have such a wide selection as well as the fact that they keep coming up with new cards!

Great way to Celebrate Birthdays of Friends and Family

I’m a faithful user of American Greetings Cards because they make the best ecards for your birthday if you like music and fun. Michael Bolton, Donny Osmond, Christine Aguilera, Meghan Trainor, Weird Al, Dolly Parton, and now Idina Menzel have made each birthday so special. I send 100s of cards each year and these smash ups are top quality. My family and friends love them. Each year the names expand and the ease of sending each improves. What’s not to love with what is ‘the best day of the year’?

No way to contact support

I like the app EXCEPT if you have an issue with something it is impossible to contact any support of any kind. I somehow list the app from my iPhone the first time… couldn’t find how to contact them and if I did I couldn’t provide any information they were going to need… so I paid for the subscription again.. the problem is the subscription does NOT renew until September… but I am being charged now in June for the renewal which I assume was for the original subscription.. no way to reach any support any where on the actual app.. so I have to cancel the subscription… I am truly very disappointed in the customer service or lack of support

It’s gotten even BETTER!!

I’ve used American Greetings for years and while on the app tonight I see where we now have the option to put a name that isn’t on their name list, on the card! It’s not verbalized but it’s a nice little extra to personalize a card, when the recipient’s name is included on the card!! KUDOS to the IT crew who got this worked out! I’ve suggested this app to many, and now will make sure I really push this new feature, too! Thanks!!

Poor app.

Names sometimes do not show up on their name list to personalize. You should be able to type any name you want instead of scrolling through names, needless step to have to do. After creating a card many times it will not send to an individual by text but will go to email and sometimes neither. I really don’t believe it will go to a phone text, it goes to messenger. If that is the case American Greetings should label their “Share” properly. In short I am only to send or use 50% of the time due to it will not send to all people in my contacts. I then go to my reliable card shack app it it works flawlessly every time and much easier to use.

Huge AGC fan

I’m very selective about who I send paper cards to these days, usually senior family members and friends. Younger people seem prefer email, text and social media for everything. In this technological age it’s nice to still be able to remember friends and loved ones with a note of that says I’m thinking about you, to say thank you, happy birthday or any occasion. AGC has made continuing a time honored tradition, affordable and “way cool”. 😉

Making cardsLove the app and making and sending card! But…

When using app, there are times I complete adding pictures, or personalizing and go to step of sending and to pick who it goes to and cannot get screen to allow me to pick button to go to next step so either have to make different card entirely or go back and redo same card. Very time consuming and frustrating. Doesn’t happen all the time but does happen often. Otherwise really enjoy he app! So do receivers!

Need to fix the bugs in this app!

I’m a paid subscriber & half the time it makes me sign in again & then tells me my email is invalid or it takes a new password & then it still won’t work. I have to go to the website to open something and send. When it comes time for renewal I may have to look at other services. The angst isn’t worth the hassle of this app.

My favorite subscription

American Greetings has solved my issue of having a large family and tons of friends scattered around the US. Birthdays, Anniversaries, Graduations… I have them all covered with this one App. Last minute, no problem. No Email address? No problem. The variety, sharing, and ease of use of this service has me hooked for life. Thank you American Greetings! Tania

Almost Completely Satisfied

I love this app. It’s easy to find what I need, create a card, send in a matter of a few minutes, without having to leave the house. I am too forgetful for sending cards through the mail but with the personalization options digital is even better! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because my sisters name isn’t on the list of names for personalization, add Deirdre and I’ll happily give 5 stars.

Great eCards For All Occasions!

I really love sending e-cards to my family and friends. There are so many to choose for every occasion. I also enjoy your upgrades like adding the alphabet to the list of names. Now I can just tap the letter, instead of scrolling and scrolling forever for the first letter of the name. What a nice feature! Keep up the great work and adding new e-cards, too!

A lot of fun, and quick!

This is a great app and people always enjoy the messages, especially the personalized talking cards. It would be nice to have the app available for iPad with keyboard functionality AND selection of font colors and sizes. It is worth the money to surprise people with a card, that you might never get around to sending in “snail mail”.

Cards that Guarantee a Smile!

A couple of years ago, a friend of mine set my mother one of your cards, and she just absolutely got so tickled seeing her name and hearing her name come out of Donnie Osmond’s mouth! I have sent sent many many cards from American greetings and everyone loves them! I figured it’s a lot cheaper than what the cards cost in the store and it always guarantees a smile!

Great eCards, the app is pretty awful

I tried a few apps and liked the selection of eCards from American Greetings. The price is reasonable if you use it every month or two. I only dinged one star for the app quality, but the app is pretty awful. I hope American Greetings will invest in a proper app in the future. It is a not a native app with juddery scrolling and poor UX. For a design focused company like American Greetings, it really shows a lack of attention to detail.

Love the ability to send e-cards at a moment’s notice.

I thoroughly enjoy my subscription to American Greetings e-cards. I send several cards throughout the year. They are time & cost saving and bring a smile to all my recipients. One suggestion is to expand the name choices on the smash up cards. I have a Mackenzie, Norah, & a Finn who will never get one of these amazing smash up cards.

A great way to reach family near and far

I have had this app for over a year and have been able to bring joy to so many people through birthday cards , Christmas cards, and all other holidays. A great way to keep up with people and let them know that you’re thinking of them.

Great service but needs some updates

I love the convenience of the AG online cards; however, some have been around for a while & need to be retired. Not sure if there’s some way I could check what I’ve sent in the past so that I can avoid sending the person the same card again….

Best way to say you care

I've been using American Greetings for several years now and it's so much better then a hard card that someone looks at and puts down in the trash no one feels guilty for deleting the smash-up but with luck, they get a laugh, and at the very least a smile best annual money I have ever spent!

Too many glitches for a paid app

I’m paying yearly for this app, & the feature to schedule cards ahead of time does not work. I tried to send a card a day for a week at Christmas & the app acted like it had scheduled the cards, but only sent one. Disappointing. Today, I’m trying to send a birthday card & I keep getting a screen saying “we’re updating our app, check back… etc” for hours now. This isn’t worth the money per year if it doesn’t work.

Help

Hi, I just signed up for this because I received one and I think it’s great. However, I typed in the incorrect email address and could not figure out how to correct it so I moved forward and I paid for the subscription, but I’m not sure what the impact is for having an incorrect email address

It’s MAGIC!

If this works, it is like magic! You can do all of your fixes on your own devices and then apply the finished work to this card. My only complaint is that nothing told the recipients to tap on the card. Maybe that’s because I’m not a recipient. Who knows!

Best e-card site!

I have tried several e-card sites but American Greetings is the best for these reasons: it has the best selection by far, which is continuously updated; the site is well laid out and user friendly; never had a problem and I send out hundreds of cards annually. The BEST!

Easier texting feature is a joy

It’s so much easier to send the card now because the card will go directly to the text feature. I’m so happy this is possible. It certainly saves a lot of time.

E-card review

I love using the e-cards. They seem to have just what is needed for each occasion. However, recently, there have been a few glitches with some of them—the screen remains dark (no picture) and may or may not play. Hope this is fixed soon. Otherwise, they are great.

No customer support at all!

The service is really good when it works. But if it doesn't work and you can't login, the customer support that is offered is worthless! I think it's probably a bot, and it sends instructions that don't work. to make things even worse you don't get any response at all for sometimes two or three days! That's an acceptable in today's day and age. They have a VP of quality control, but apparently he's not aware of the significant deficiencies.

Happy Birthday E-CARDS

Love the e-cards except I wish besides the alphabetical choice names we’re able to choose from, we might type names not shown on the American Greetings list. Fortunately I found only one e-card that I was able to type the recipient’s name, namely Sierra.

Hands down the best app out there

This has got to be the best app out there. Between the variety of cards you can choose from, and the way that you can personalize them, you cannot find another place better.

Love the ease of sending ecards

I love the ease of sending these e-cards. I do wish. There was a little bit more variety from year to year though. I tend to see the same cards over and over but that must mean they are very popular.

Frustrating

I LOVE the website, but the app just frustrates me no end. Won’t remember my password and even uninstalling and reinstalling it now jusdt its there blinking the heart/rose thing at me. Making it even more frustrating is that for the iPad you can’t use your external keyboard because the app won’t go into portrait mode. Seems to only be set for iPhones, but lots of us don’t use phones to send our cards and other important commincations. The better apps are programmed to support landscape.

Love the cards

I Love sending e-cards. I do still send cards thru the mail, but, these are really great. The only thing I’d like to see is more Mother’s Day cards for someone who’s not my mom and have them in early March. My daughter in law lives across the pond and they celebrate Mothers the 3rd Sunday in March

Good e-card website that needs work

I like some of your e-cards but find that there needs to be improvement of your website and ecards. The get well ecards are way too short. On your voice ecards you don’t have Selena as a selection which is a common name and I don’t find a way to add it.

Change isn’t always for the better

The former version of the App was better in that one could choose the size and color of a selection of fonts for the message. This version does not seem to allow those options, or the options are not easily found.

Great when it works

I have really enjoyed sending some of these cards to my friends and loved ones. However, on holidays, perhaps when lots of people are using the app, sometimes it crashes and malfunctions, and I can’t sign in. Which is very disappointing.

Funny cards

Love this way to send cards. Anything for you to add would be - continue adding new fun cards and I would like to have names added to your list. When I want to personalize, lots of names are not there.

Unhappy Customer

I searched long & hard to find a better e-gift card company, after using Card Snacks for years. They made unwarranted changes, which made it difficult to send a simple gift. I just used your platform & the first card I took a long time to personalize & create for my mom, had none of the things I added to it. The music, photo, message & signature disappeared. The card was sent in its original format. BIG LET DOWN!!

I have ALS and can no longer type. While it is disappointing, that I can no longer send paper cards, American, Greetings allows me to show my caring and affection to my family and friends as I can dictate what I want to say.

Whether you want serious, fun, musical - you always find great choices. I find this option so much easier than paper cards that I have increased the quantity of cards I send.

Easy-peasy!
