While we appreciate and respect your decision to “upgrade” the app, it has unfortunately resulted in a great deal of confusion and inconvenience so far on our part. We have 2 checks to deposit and have spent over an hour attempting to deposit the first one, only to discover that we left out the account number on the endorsement (which the instructions don’t request). We have resubmitted that deposit with no visible means of cancelling the first one. Hopefully, the transaction will be denied for lack of information. We will now attempt to redeposit the other check in another account, for which we never received a confirmation last week. All of this could be easily resolved with a simple phone call to one of your pleasant and qualified representatives, and we apologize for not doing that . . . but that would defeat the purpose of a couple of 82 year olds trying to keep up with technology.
ACU used to have a very user-friendly website and mobile app. Since the merge with the other credit union it has been frustration after frustration trying to figure it out, trying to make the mobile app work, trying to get accounts connected online. Even trying to deposit a check through my mobile phone has been a head banger. I attempt to take a picture and the notice to rotate my phone to landscape never goes away until I shut the entire thing down and start over again and then sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. It’s completely frustrating. If I had started this account with the merged credit union I may have closed it out and gone somewhere else because it’s so frustrating. It’s almost to the point where I say I hate working with this bank. That’s a terrible place to be.
I love ACU but it was so much better before the merge. Perhaps after a little time, and after all the bugs are worked out, things will return to the awesome business as usual. Getting past the frustration cannot happen quick enough.I’m rooting for my favorite financial institution! Good luck to us all! A better rating is on its way, hopefully!
Last couple of times I deposit a check the white panel telling you to rotate the phone wouldn’t go way. And this time I couldn’t get the phone to take a picture of the back of the check. I got it to happen in the 3th try. Didn’t use to have any problems, but does now.
I have multiple accounts and one of them is now named “Closed....” even though it is not closed. Every transaction in my credit card account starts out with Loan Advance from Acu....” which is really annoying bc I have to tap each one to see what it is.
It is not user friendly. The app gave me errors that were inaccurate. The amount on the check matched what I input. The switching to landscape is awkward resulting in multiple attempts to make a deposit.
Very unhappy with the new changes; first big change without any membership notification at all, second, every time I try to long in it sends me back to App Store to get Latest version of app, which I’ve done but still have to go there to gain @ccdss to my account to transact any type business!!?? INSTRUCTIONS NEEDED TO GET LATEST APP ON MOBILE & IPADS !!
I was not aware that America’s Credit Union started charging transfer fees since they merged and was then because of the fees charged an overdraft charge of $35.00. Then I was told the submitted it for a refund because I’ve never had an overdraft before and I still have not been refunded the $35. This is at a bad time for me because I’m o leave from work. Before the merge I felt like America’s credit union really cared about their customers and would not charge all the these fees for this and that.
