Angry Birds has always been a really fun game to play ever since the day it came out! This version in my opinion was very well done! I didn’t know that they even had AR games on the phone to be honest... So I was pleasantly surprised how well this game works with the whole AR concept! What I like about this game is it is completely fun, addictive and FAMILY FRIENDLY! It’s for adults and literally little kids who know how to use a phone (Majority of little kids! LOL)! I like the idea of AR games for kids, gets them moving around rather than sitting down all the time… and I don’t even have kids! My nieces and nephews love playing this with me. It’s nice during Covid, turning your house into a positive environment that is fun! Right about now, I think we all need that… If you haven’t tried this, I highly recommend it. Only reason I did not give it a five is because there has to be room for improvement with AR games. Overall though as of today I would say it is one of the better they are games that they have created. ENJOY! I don’t like how they’re categorizing other games as “AR“ when all it has is literally a photo opportunity. This game is 100% AR, know if you want to see what that feels like give this game a shot!
I actually think this is very fun, but that’s not what I want to talk about, I want to talk about how you guys took down the OG angry birds, I usually waste time on my mobile games while waiting for my friends to get on Xbox and ps4, I always look for a fun game to waste ten- twenty minutes on, but none of your games have appealed to me, you made a pop game, but there are 1000 more games just the same but without angry birds that are pop games, I have been playing angry birds since I was three, the original was the best, my personal request would be to please bring it back, thank you.
I’ve played angry birds games for years . They’ve been a fun way to kill time in lines and what not. Recently I’d been disappointed by the addition of ads to the OG titles , and Angry Birds 2 was ok. But this! I’ve messed around with the Beta Minecraft Earth , and found it so so. It might be great when fully up and running , but right now , it’s a little bit gimmicky. But this. I was astounded by the graphics and game play, as I sat on my couch, and rotated the 3D structure that appeared on the floor in front of me. Suddenly on one map, I saw the support beam I wanted to take out, but hitting the rotate button wasn’t bringing it into view, and then I stood up! Suddenly I was looking over the wall that was blocking my view , and had a clean shot. Suddenly I realized I could get off of the couch and walk around the structure to see it from all angles. And I mean all angles. During one level, I was doing ok , and I thought, Is that a beam under the roof? I got down on the ground , and looked up, and yes, there was a beam under the roof. And I could shoot it, and the whole thing collapsed down. Wow.
Re-downloaded the game after not playing it for awhile, and I’m unable to restore purchases, and when tapping the Pay button to remove Ads, it does nothing. So now this broken game is just sitting here on the AppStore with zero support or updates for years, but certainly will let you download it and be forced to watch advertisements to drive up your revenue and screwing people over. Literally, not figuratively, every single game by Rovio is just a heaping trash pile with the most absurd predatory tactics to force the player into spending money, or leave broken games lying around to drive up revenue by forcing ads. Just read the REAL reviews and they’re all negative with actual susbstance in the review, not some fake one liner that doesn’t make any sense and are just bots or spam farms creating fake 5 star reviews.
I have a iPhone 7 and I found I want to play it because a week ago I starting to play angry birds again and this game overheat my phone after 2 levels and after trying to get 3 stars in level four in the first world the game was broke and I could not play the land to play the game and the last time before I give up and remove it and loading screen glitch and red,Bomb,and Chuck glitch and the body was on the top to the place there are and I feel like the game was killing my phone and I just played this today and I already done with this game and I download the game not even a week ago if you have a old phone DO NOT DOWNLOAD this game if the phone is old and I think need a very good phone to play the game good without damaging your own phone by overheating.
The rotate left and right buttons are too small and very sensitive. If not touched just perfectly the game pauses it self. And it pauses itself by mistake often. Then you have to press a different part of the screen to unpause and then try and rotate again. It happens often and is annoying. The rotate is also a set fixed amount. If you want an amount between the Fox amounts it just isn’t possible. Repositioning the camera above it below isn’t possible without moving the camera a large amount. That’s fine if your standing outside. But if your playing it from a a small space like on the train you should have the ability you reoption up or down too.
I don’t often write reviews for games, but this one is different. This is the most fun I have had with a game in a long time. This feels like classic Angry Birds but with a 3-D real world twist. Everything looks beautiful and it controls perfectly. Being able to look at the birds and structures up close is incredible and makes the gameplay more interesting. There are plenty of levels. This is a full game, not just an experience. Whether you like Angry Birds or not I would highly recommend this to anyone!
The constant vibrating is bothersome but I don’t see much glitching so far using the X it runs well for just being released with very little position drift. The big problem is the same as with most AR games... it sets your phone on fire and drains your battery quickly. It’s cool to show someone but unless you want to be charging your phone you won’t be playing this but a minute or two here and there.
On my iPhone X game is smooth, on my iPad Pro 9.7 the game crashed once but had no further issues afterwards. Game looks amazing and being able to move completely around the maps to find the best angle to hit the TNT create really draws into the Angry Birds world. Make sure you have a decent amount of open space to move, you'll need it. The game currently is short but I hope this was just get the buzz going and expansions will quickly follow. Awesome job RIVIO, way to make Angry Birds fresh again!
This game is an amazing game that works very well for an AR game. Some say that it does not work and just floats away whenever you tried to shoot the pigs with you epic birds, and I have experienced that problem. You get around that problem by turning off vibrations for whatever reason. Then everything runs super smooth. I personally recommend to add a map creator so you can play you own maps and other peoples maps as well. Coolest AR game out there
I’ve seen some reviews that say that the flat surface recognition feature isn’t working. What I’ve found is that if you get down to roughly the same level as the table (or ground) and move it around a bit. Once the area becomes highlighted, lean back to a comfortable position and then tap the button to place the game. You’re welcome, also the concept is amazing and it has lots of room for expansion.
This is a shock. I’m a huge angry birds fan and I’m writing a negative review? Well yes, and there’s a good reason for that. I like at games. I really do, like fnaf ar, which is awesome. But as the title says: THIS. DOES. NOT. WORK. I tried to enjoy it, but I couldn’t. If it wasn’t the lag, it was the game breaking bugs. If not that, then the awkward AR controls ruined it. I think you should really just stop making these awful 3-d games. Now I’m not an old gezer who likes the olden days, but the 2-d games were actually fun and playable, but 3-d is just time wasters, without any of that old school charm. This game is the perfect example of this, and this game just doesn’t work. I hope you find this review helpful
I think this game really exemplifies the potential and and downfalls of ar based games/applications. Pros: - great way to interact with a 3d environment. Fast to pickup - level design has a lot of potential to use different angles, encourages user to move around. Cons: - currently the games levels are way too easy, and are nowhere near the levels of intricacies the original 2D angry bird games had. - the iPhone camera is almost always refocusing as you play the game, making the experience extremely nauseating (even if you don't move the phone, the screen will continue to refocus every 1-3 seconds) - the handheld experience is still a little jittery. Unless if you're playing with your phone on a tripod, the graphics will shake about as you're trying to aim your birds. I hope future ar developers might employ some of iPhones motion stabilization to compensate this.
I’ve been a huge fan of the franchise for many years now but this game needs some improvements and the biggest is tech support! The game is too finicky and cliche; it freezes too often and takes too long for the game to register when moving around. I know this can be fixed with some major updates and that takes time but until then I will give this game 3 stars instead of five ( this game can and should be five stars) please fix the stability guys!!
Amazing jobs guys. Keep up the good work. So many bad reviews. People either don’t understand or what. If people want to play this game they must have the minimum specifications requirements to play. Is very logical if you have an older phone with slower chips and memory game will be slow and with glitches. I have iPhone XS Max and it works perfectly fine. Good job developers love the game.
Is it easy? Most of the time yes. Are there bugs? Sure. But a free and solidly made augmented reality game built on the angry birds franchise? How could you not give this a shot? I’ve played a fair amount of boring free games on here that have way less functionality and are jam packed with ads that have higher ratings on the App Store and I just don’t get it. Y’all need to rethink your standards if this is anything other than a 5/5.
It’s like the original angry birds but with AR. If there was ever a game that was suited for AR it is angry birds. I love walking around and getting a new prospective on the level. Now for what is not working. 1 star for 12 inch iPad Pro with Face ID support. Menus are not showing correctly and if you fail a level you can’t see what to click to restart or continue. I took away another star because there is no iCloud sync across devices. They clearly seemed to have developed this for iPhone first. Hopefully they add iCloud support and fix the bugs.
If you are holding the slingshot back while the game ends, or pull it back as the game starts the ending sequence and loading your score up, the audio of the slingshot being elasticated will stay for the rest of the game until you exit and re open it. So if you could find out why it happens and fix it it would be a great deal of annoying ness off my ears 🙂
I ore-ordered this game awhile back and when it came out I wasn’t sure what to expect until I played s few levels! This game is amazing and has amazing graphics and the idea behind it is very awesome. This game goes in depth with every little detail and it shows! There is no ads what so ever unless u want to watch and ad for extra birds or feathers. All in all this game is amazing and loads of fun!!
From everything I can tell, this game is great! Something I noticed is once a level is finished and Red turns to look at you, it looks rather unnatural and switches sides instantly. It also looks like there is some clipping. Something else, it doesn’t matter to since you can turn it off, but the vibrating is a bit excessive. Otherwise I think it is a great game!
I found this like long ago and “pre-ordered” it. When I first downloaded it, it was doing really well, but for some reason now the game keeps crashing. It’s been multiple times even after I restart it, but I mean the game is new so I don’t mind too much it’s understandable looking forward to the updates!
At first it seems really easy then it gets harder once you get past the tropical island and to the spooky version of it. There are some ads and it does crash occasionally, but it’s not that bad. Everyone just left a review when it first came out and never checked back in on it. Now it’s better.
I Love the game I really do but the towers float away from you and it’s really annoying. Also sometimes it doesn’t work when you hit the “no” button. Can you fix the bugs on your next update and can you bring back angry birds Action and get rid of Evolution? Great job on the non-buggy stuff!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I have the xs max. love the game more than I thought I eould. there seems to be an issue with finding the right surface to play. if I accidentally click on the “move” button the game will not allow me to put back where it came from, have to find a new spot. I would love to see a “harry potter” ab, I would also like to see absw and abswIi in ar!!!
I liked the idea, looks like one day it might be the trend of future games, but not yet. I have very good internet and it still studders. Even iPad 6 can’t quite handle the amount of data to run this smoothly. But I’m sure the next generations will. Some of the controls are lacking. One game the tower will be to big to see everything the next it’s off to the side or disappears. A few updates might help. Try and see what you think.
It’s a good game but you have to find a flat surface with nothing on it even though the flat surface your looking at as great area of nothing on it, if you drop phone or get it knocked out of hands the stage gets zoomed out and/or moved, if something gets put in the way it takes a wile to get the stage back to play. This has potential to be great with some little hiccups in it, download and have fun.
I’m so happy I woke up this morning to the notification telling me THAT MY AB-AR preorder had been downloaded. I opened it immediately and started playing. It’s perfect to me. Only thing I would change is the amount of birds you get at start. Other than that I believe the devs have done something amazing and innovative. I love it!
I really hate that this app has been abandoned; it is/was so fun, with some minor bugs that just needed to be fixed. The main reason I quit playing is because there is no iCloud implementation… so gameplay does not sync across devices (which is a no-go for me). PLEASE update this app for the latest software/devices—and add iCloud—so that I can enjoy it again. 😭
I am in love with the idea of AR Games & how they can change the way we see games. But frankly up until this game everything has been a disappointment. I am eager to see what the devs do in the future with this tech. This team deserves some real love, I can’t imagine it was easy to get the game so polished

This new game is a blast!! Sometimes the game crashes when I don’t finish a level. It won’t let me select no to adding another bird. When I say yes and watch the video, game becomes unresponsive. I wish someone would post videos or hints on how to find eggs. Accidentally found 1 on level 3 and I have no clue where the other 2 are.
The game is awesome to play on my iPhone XS Max. However, on my 3rd gen iPad Pro, it has numerous issues. The game often fails to load without freezing. If a level is failed, the menu that should have a retry icon has no icons rendered. None of these issues occur on iPhone. Just needs some bugs fixed...and, more levels!
Angry Birds was a great physics based skill game before they added all the power ups and ads and bloat. This performs excellently on both my iPad Pro 10.5” and iPhone XS Max. I wish there was a non-ar mode (I know, why not play the original games) for times when a clear open surface isn’t available, but so far that’s my only gripe. Ads weren’t too intrusive, but I still paid the couple bucks to get rid of them since I like this direction the game went. Guess I’ll need to check out the VR game soon, hope its as fun and performs as well as this.
Placement of the levels was pretty easy. The gameplay puts you in an incredible 3-D immersive environment right in your own house. The levels are fun and challenging but difficult to get three stars. I’m not a fan of ads but like how you can watch them to get your coins up. Works great on my $329 iPad 5th generation. Great game thank you

I’ve been trying to three star “Battering ham” for a solid 30 minutes now. I can never get it to reach beyond 58,000, and most of the time, it’s simply 56,000 straight. It would be great if this level was tweaked to make three-staring it easier...right now, I’m not sure it’s even possible...
I pre-order this game in March and it was worth it! For those who want to play the VR version but can’t play it for reasons, I highly recommending this to play this short but awesome game! Also, I hope Rovio adds levels based on The Angry Birds Movie 2 when it comes out! I have hopes for it!
I have been waiting over 1 month for this game to come out. This game is every fun to play and you can play anywhere anytime of the day. Once you get the hang of this game it will be very enjoyable and entertaining. Lastly, this angry birds game it better than some of all the other angry bird games I have played
Love this, but could you please add the other birds (In intro order: Matilda, Hal, Terence, Bubbles, Stella, and Silver) I would also suggest a winter or spring mode to unlock Terence, Bubbles, Stella, and Silver. I would also suggest making 2 more spooky mode episodes to unlock Matilda and Hal, as well as more pig versions (Corporal, Foreman, King, Chef, etc). Thanks for reading.
Since the vr Version came out I wanted that game so bad, but I don’t have a vr. Few months later, I went to get a free angry bird game then I noticed something, is that angry birds vr game I wanted? But instead, it was ar, I was so excited to see that game I give it a 5 star, And Rovio, I am your biggest fan!!!:p
This game is fantastic because you have a 3D game style. There is one problem though, why do we have to have a flat surface. Say you want to play in a car but there is no flat surface, well TOO BAD. Other than that, this game is awesome and you should buy it.
Fun app however when I paid to get rid of the advertisements I expected them to be gone totally I paid the fee now I am given an option of watching an advertisement to get more birds. I want the adds all gone, I feel that the adds modification is is a work around to still give you adds. Please fix this
The game is fine, but is supported by graphic bloody ads that are inappropriate for kids. Nothing like a slow motion bloody headshot from a snipers bullet to really sell a kids game. W. T. F. ?! So fine, if I don’t want the ads, I’ll pay a few bucks to get rid of them, have a “clean” game, and pay the developers for what they made. Fair and square? Nope. The graphic ads persist. Again W. T. F. ?! I’ll be working a refund and be rethinking using ad supported Rovio apps with my kids from now on.
This is an awesome game. Been a fan of Angry Birds and AR just took it to another level. I wish that there are more levels to come. I’ve completed all the levels in Spooky Mode and Vacation Mode. Patiently waiting for more levels. Thank you.
I understand the need for the developers to make revenue. However the ads are so intrusive that I can’t get past one round without watching an ad for additional birds. And to make matters worse once you clear a round you have to watch another ad. Furthermore the ads are at least 30 seconds long. Sometimes there longer than the actual gameplay. I played a few rounds and immediately deleted the app.
AWSOME GAME! I remember growing up with the original angry birds and seeing this game evolve over the years is great! Every thing about this game is great! Hopefully in the future they’ll add more levels. Something to note, the vibration is a bit annoying so I just turned it off but other than that Great Game!

So far, so good. Love how you can walk around the entire structure and get the best angles, low and high, and get as close as you want. Makes you feel as if you’re in the game, literally. Look forward to future updates/expansion.
This game needs serious technical work. I paid to remove the ads. It removes it from one group of levels and the restore purchases feature doesn’t work. You really need to fix this. Gameplay is fun but it’s a battery hog. It will eat your battery in record time. Buyer beware!!
I like the game and it is fun. The only draw back from it is that it uses a lot of power causing my phone to get hot quickly when playing. Hope it’s something that can be fixed with an update because if it wasn’t for that I would give this game 5 stars.
The game was very fun for the 4 worlds of this highly entertaining game, but is there gonna be more? I’ve only had this game for 2 days and have already completed it. I just didn’t want it to end so soon.
