Limited to single iOS device + lost all data & gear
I love this game, but it is not fully iOS compatible. Any decent iOS game should sync seamlessly between iPad and iPhone, and this game does not do that at all. I play mostly on iPad, and would like to play on iPhone occasionally. But when I sign on to my iPhone all of the countless hours of progress I have made do not show up. I have double checked email & User ID to make sure they are the same, and reported it to support. No answers for now. Best to play on just the iPad or you could lose all of your progress. UPDATE: It got even worse. Beware of trying to sync iPhone with iPad. I wrote to support because my iPhone was not picking up any of the new characters, levels, or gear that I had on my iPad. Tonight I look at my iPad, and my most advanced character (Hunter/Warrior) from Season 2 had been completely replaced with the hunter of the same name on my iPhone which had not been syncing. So I lost all of the gear and over 1000 levels that I accumulated during the season. Additionally, my stash for both seasonal and non-seasonal was wiped completely clean. Nothing left at all…. I had really enjoyed this game, but I don’t have the heart to start all over and do the countless hours of farming necessary to replace that work…with no faith that my gear and characters won’t just disappear again. Very disappointed, and more than a little angry…. This game just isn’t ready for prime time.
For years now I have been trying to find a good RPG that play similar to Diablo and I finally found it in this game. There are a few map glitches were I fall through the map and a glitch were there is a quest I can’t complete, but other then that the game plays great and looks good. I really love the infuse ability for your equipment and to have a subclass which really diversify the way you can play. I hope in the future they add the ability to add your friends and play with them. I also hope they add the ability to upgrade gear to the next tier which would cut down on the tedious farming for gear you have to do. This game is really fun/addicting and I would highly recommend it to any fan of the genre.
This game caught my eye a few years ago and I was skeptical considering I've tried finding a game like this in other games and had been let down everytime.....this game though is amazing!! It's not overwhelming and overburdened with a million things, it's simplified to a point where the customization is neverending, the hunt for loot is worth it even on the runs you don't find much but the grind is worth every bit of my time cause it's not a pay to win and you've added a version co-op in it. Please don't ever let this game die, I'd love to see it spring back to life in a good and positive way and not sell out to some douche in an office. I wish I could find more people to co-op with but no complaints from me!!!!
The Game’s got an incredible loot system, and honestly it’s a mixture between Diablo 1 & 2 in terms of graphics, exploration, and gameplay albeit on the level of a mobile game for sure. They’ve recently added a Brand new Zone with another large campaign area, and I’ve just now reached that area after about 15 hours of playing, and now it’s got so much more left all of which is brand new never played before so I’m excited. Download this game, and give it a few hours because the game really starts to open up once you start leveling, and getting awesome gear.
The game is amazingly fun! The only thing I wish for a future update is the ability to have a friends list and be able to play with a friend. I have a couple that play this game and that’s literally the only thing I can think of that would make this game go from great, to perfect. Please please please make it multiplayer, not random like dungeon finder but to where I can invite a friend to play with me or vice versa. Cheers!
Really fun game but you max out and tap out and there’s just grind
I played. I enjoyed it very much. Lots of grind but got through it. Getting to the max level on characters is fun. Once you get there that is it. They added the Island over the past year but it creates a stalemate. My characters can beat the monsters but it can take a long, long time. The monsters can’t touch my character but take very little damage. If there is a rejuvenation monster there then it is impossible.l Now really, my characters are tapped out. So I move on.
Love the way the developers took their time to do this one right. I am a long time lover of the Diablo style rpg games. Sadly most are just sad rip offs, however this one is a home run and stand out. This game hits the same cravings as the old school rpg games we have all grown to love. Great job on this game, my only complain is that more don’t know about this game. I have tried many times to do dungeon co-opp, but there seems to be no one there.
Probably the closest tbh to Diablo 2 for mobile. Very good itemization and very nostalgic of the Diablo series. Love the spells smooth game play. No ads what so ever. Most of the buyable stuff cosmetic only. Wish it had more multiplayer features is my only complaint but as a single player game it’s very addictive! Very much like Diablo ! Love it! 5 stars as far as mobile games go. Keep up the good work dev team !!!
No ads. No pay wall. No waiting. Feels just like Diablo. I’ve tried a bunch of clones and this feels the closest. No real way of automation. I would like macros. Easier way to auto attack while moving between hits. A way of seeing some of the skills of classes before trying them. Very happy so far. Just finishing normal campaign and excited to try some different builds
Cannot thank you enough for making this game. Played other games numerous times and Always Always realize how good AnimA is. Only decent arpg game without P2W. Can see that dev really grinned their time and effort to make this game run so smooth. Details are gorgeous. Nothing to complain. Would support more if I can. once again thank you
Very good game with constantly updates. But still have problems with online play since sometimes it doesn’t save game properly. And have auto attack feature will be a nice thing for archer class since spam attack button every single seconds for most of the time is not a good experience
I love the game and have been enjoying it since I started several weeks ago. I especially like that it isn’t auto play like many games are now. One thing I would like to know is whether the devs will be adding support for the use of controllers. I would love to play using my Nimbus controller.
There is no word to express my anger on the Executioner boss. The game doesn’t even tell you what to do, you just throw us in without even telling us how to defeat it. I could see why this game only has a few ratings. This game is terrible. Although the boss fight is possible it is impossible to defeat it on such a low level. It’s also impossible to defeat it while your using only swords. The Executioner boss deserves to be nerfed and updated. This game lacks updates. You may not changed this due to your lack of work.
The first couple days I played I was a little confused but once I passed a certain point I flew through. Super fun with plenty of things to do. No need to spend money, fun to build characters with different gear options and all that. 9/10 will recommend
If you love the first 2 Diablo computer games you’ll like this even better. Better graphics, better gear, better gameplay. More people should try it Needs an update, 4 skill slots, more experience boost wearable items.
Pretty fun game but if you’re gonna play it, go with a class that doesn’t rely on Intellect like Sorcery. Whoever designed this completely forgot that casters exist. Almost every single item beyond level 30 requires a RIDICULOUS amount of Strength. Points completely wasted on a useless stat for a caster. They need to make Robes that exclusively require Intellect to wear, or change existing items. Ridiculous.
I haven’t played another game in weeks thanks to this game! Grinding, fusing, farming mats, fighting monsters, making more and more op gears. I would give Anima a million stars if I could. Be patient, and definitely try the warrior/archer whirlwind combo for your dual mastery at some point.
I can easily give it five stars outstanding game!! I haven’t played very long but so far it is amazing!(I like the fact they don’t hide blood) the graphics are great the quests are great the whole game is just awesome (no game is perfect but this game is close)
First, anyone who gave this game less than 4 stars is a whiny twerp or not smart enough to figure some basic things out. This game is the absolute best arpg available on mobile. Just try it and see. Thank me later!!
Multiplayer has not worked for me yet in the group finder
Been trying to get the finder to work since level 10. Been playing for hours and still no one was found to play with me. Wish there was more multiplayer options. If there were I’d want to purchase more from the shop with irl money.
Diabloesque. Annoying if you want to lvl or get decent drops then you have to log out and log back in to redo last couple of dungeons. Worth the ten bucks for the starter kit. Great sandbox game to kill some time.
Play the game for a little bit, enjoyed it. My biggest problem is all of the writing that you have to read in the game is super super tiny. I don’t wanna have to get bifocals to play the game. If you could make the writing bigger It would be so awesome.
This game looks like it would be an awesome game to play. Problem is, it isn’t designed for phones with the Dynamic Island, and there are UI elements that are covered by the iOS navigation bar AND the Dynamic Island. If these are fixed, my rating will go up. But with the last update being… 9 months ago, my hopes aren’t high.
This time I dropped all my legendary drops even a red so my bag would be empty on entering Greed Portal. 1PM PST, took a Bout 5 steps then FUBAR, dropped below ground couldn’t p/u squat my zombies stayed above killed stuff unable to pick up legendaries only gold! Couldn’t exit glitched greed area, had to log out & loose all that stuff that I dropped to empty bag. Wow, will not spend more money when crappy like this happens!!!
the game is great and love the idea of free game, but the Chinese translation is really confusing. I guess the team used ai translation instead of human doing the work. Hope will improve the quality of Chinese version!
This was a great game for a little bit. But then to increase the difficulty it repeats the same game at higher levels. You end up coasting through the entire game over and over, and occasionally farm a level to get more supplies. There is no actual difficulty in anything. A 3 y/o could beat this game.
Why does this game run at 30fps on an iPhone 13 Pro with “unlocked” frame rate enabled? If it’s really that graphically intensive (I doubt it), give us some quality toggles to improve performance for 60 and 120 fps. It should be up to us if we have the battery to spare.
dev clearly put thousands of hours into developing and polishing this. it has the quality of a blizzard game. some clases have minor balance issues but the game is fun and solid. played over 20 hours so far and found no crashes and no bugs.
Character gets stuck in stairs and falls through the floor randomly. Skeletons just idle and can’t reach monsters. Skill tree is hidden by the front camera notch. Inventory hidden by the bottom pull bar. Would generally not recommend.
Bad mechanics and gameplay system. The game doesn’t even tell you anything literally. There’s no waypoint to where your next missions is. You don’t even know if your going the right way or wrong way. Poor dungeon design. Waste of time

I’ve been trying to do coop through the dungeon system and literally there’s no one to join. I love the game but it feels very bland without any cooperation, pvp should also be implemented.
Was great until latest update. Bugged the F out. Can’t modify IV legend gear. Did two campaigns (18hr) to find out bugged. Don’t waste time until they fix it.
Lost dungeon LB is bogus. Any dungeon could be finished 25% faster if it didn’t take mobs 11 seconds s to finish crawling out of the ground to become targetable.
