A paper planner in app form!
I absolutely love this planner app. I’ve been searching for one that was like my paper planners. I’m obsessed with planners but the problem for me is that I don’t always have it handy. With this app, I figured out how to have it on my iPhone and on my Samsung tablet that I use for school. I am now able to see my planner on both and whenever I need it because I always have my phone and I can type to add/edit what I need to on my tablet with my tablet keyboard. 1000 times easier and more convenient! I would love to see more sticker options! And I would like the packs to be labeled with names so I know what I’m looking for more easily. I’ve had this app for about a week and I’m still trying to remember what stickers are in what pack. I’d also really appreciate being able to sort my lists into folders so they can be even more organized that just in a list that will end up going on for days! It would also be super cool to see a tab for mood tracking or other types of tracking like habits and such and also for exercise routines. All in all, this is the best and most affordable planner app that has everything I need including the sticker satisfaction and color coding events which is extra helpful for separating my school schedule from my daughters. Stop looking, this is the planner app you need and probably have been searching for too!

True Digital Planner App
I have been planning digitally for about 3 years now (via GoodNotes) and loved that I could use my Apple Pencil to write in a digital planner just like I wrote in my paper planner. But eventually, my calendars got to be so complex and things were constantly changing that I got tired of re-writing everything. I know that GoodNotes makes it easier with copy and paste, but still it got frustrating. Now with Artful Agenda my calendars automatically sync, tasks transfer from one day to the next, and you can even set up reoccurring tasks. 4 Stars not 5 My only hesitancy for not giving that 5th star to Artful Agenda is that you can’t customize the app as much as you can a paper planner/digital planner in GoodNotes. You can’t add “extra pages” or general notes. There is a List section but the organization isn’t great because you search through a long dropdown to find the list you are looking for. I would love to be able to import PDFs or even pages from GoodNotes so that I could use other template pages to track more in my planner than just my calendars & to do lists. For example, I have a weekly review template (in PDF form) that I would love to be able to link to and access from the Weekly view. Even just having a Notes section that I could link to from the Monthly/Weekly/Daily view would be great!

Finally found it! The perfect planner app.
I am a die hard paper planner user who has been using a custom planner for a while, but it’s getting difficult to communicate with people about plans when I have to wait until I can get to my planner to answer them, so I decided to try again to find an app that would work instead. I tried 6 or 7 different ones before I landed on Artful Agenda. It is AMAZING! It does almost everything my paper planner does. My favorite feature, and the thing I couldn’t find anywhere else, is that it has to do list sections for each day, so I can go to Friday’s to do list and add something there instead of it showing up on just one master list. Other apps I tried all just had one to do list. I’ve only been using it one day so far, but the only thing I would change at this point is the ability to add new daily list sections as needed. I love that it has 3 different lists for each day and that you can rename them; I think that will work fine for me; however, in my paper planner, I have sections for priorities, to do, errands, and a “Be Intentional” section where I write reminders for kind things I can do that day. I would love to have the ability to custom add more list sections in the daily tab. If that was a feature, as far as I can tell, this app would be perfect.

Love this app!
I was a long time Erin Condren paper planner user. I love decorating with washy tape and writing a different colors, but I found that I was constantly erasing or whiting out the tasks I didn’t do on one day and pushing them over to the next day over and over again. One day I would leave my planner at school I’m a teacher), one day I would leave at home when I needed at school and so forth. I also found that it was hard for me to keep track of my schedule, my school schedule, my husband schedule all in a tiny little planner— then I found artful agenda. It was the perfect solution to all the problems I was having. I love that I can access it across all of my devices, including my echo show 15 (using the silk web browser) which I have in my family command center. I love that I can decorate my hearts content. I love that cost less than an Erin Condren planner. I love that rolls over tasks that are uncompleted. I love being able to check them off and have a little strikethrough. I love the Facebook community. I love that there are always updates and new features being added. My sister and friend from college are both using it now because I recommended it to them. I wish more people would try it out. They won’t be disappointed!

Expected different
Updated review: well, so apparently just about any app has to access your calendar (I don’t understand why, if that’s what I’m using the app for and not the iPhone calendar, seems redundant). Anyway, I tried many different planner apps in my quest of this and this is my favorite. It shows the whole month, so I can easily view and anticipate upcoming events/appointments. I like it has many personalizations. Easy to use once you get it synced. The only thing I really don’t like is you pay essentially $40, but then once in the app, you pay for even more customizations. These customizations aren’t required and there are still nice options you don’t have to pay for - it would just be nice to be one inclusive price. I hate all things that nickel and dime you… Original review: I was so excited to get and use this app. I’m trying to transition away from a paper planner and be more digitalized, and this just had that paper look to it. The drawback here is in order to use it properly, you must first sync with some other calendar (outlook, google…). I came from a paper planner and I’m looking for convenience. IMO it defeats the purpose to have to make all these calendars in another platform just to sync with this app. Tried adding a raw event, wouldn’t save that way. I need simple in my life, and this is not it. Sure is cute though!

Amazing Planner
I love this app & website. I work remotely and in office and was struggling to keep up with all my tasks in a paper planner. I’ve tried a few digital ones, but I missed the fun of a physical one. This one was the perfect solution. Here’s what I love about it. 1. I love the individualization aspect (cover, “handwriting”, etc.). The lists give you so many options to make it what you want and there’s even a section in you day to day planner where you can change it to what you want. 2. It helps to be able to type something into my phone, then view it on my computer later or vice versa. I use it during meetings due to this function. 3. I can keep up with projects or make lists for personal vs work tasks then assign them to a day. This has been a life saver for keeping up with my bills. 4. You can create events in it (& invite people) and it’ll sync to your other calendars. *My only wish is that I use to have a Samsung phone before an Apple and it had an awesome widget for this app. I’m a visual person so I liked being able to see it, and the beautiful cover, on my home screen. I was disappointed Apple doesn’t have it yet, though I’ve read they are working on it. Fingers crossed it comes soon. Highly recommend Artful Agenda, I brag on it so much that coworkers are now subscribing too.

Love it, even with some ideas to make it better!
I downloaded this app after looking for yet another way to track tasks, goals, etc. I’ve had probably four paper planners in the last six months and have used dozens and dozens of various GTD apps, from Reminders to Omnifocus, Things to TickTick and Todoist (all of them are fabulous and have their uses, but I get too bogged down in them!). I’ve even tried digital planners from Etsy in Goodnotes and Noteshelf. AA is definitely among my favorites! Love: different places for priority tasks versus other tasks; ability to change covers on a whim; different “handwriting” fonts; stickers stickers stickers (seriously I love how easy they are to use compared to in notebook apps); weekly view shows the daily priorities you’ve set; flexibility with titling different sections (I changed Meal Plan to just Dinner) Wishlist: handwriting (which I know is coming soon) and scribble support; mooooore stickers!; ability to move or change the layout of daily and weekly spreads; ability to add custom sections (budgeting, goal setting, etc) (could see this being useful in app purchases!) Overall: excellent implementation, reasonably priced (good yearly planners can easily be $60 or more), and the devs are consistently working to make things better!

Woah! Professional and personal organization at the touch of a tab!
I am amazed at this app the ease of functionality and of course at how cute you can make it. I’ve struggled to find a digital agenda I can personalize and can keep track of all of my calendars. I manage 5 different emails/calendars and keeping track of notes details and setting can be overwhelming and having to use different programs to do each different thing can be cumbersome. Don’t get me wrong google is functional but it’s still different programs/apps/links to access everything I need. I was/am a devout bullet journalist but with everything needing to be online for work and personal web meetings a paper agenda is unrealistic and incredibly unreliable. The only 2 things I can’t seem to figure out or it may not do is send email reminders to the guests of changes to the schedule as well as adding a zoom or google meet links to the event. The second is not a very big deal because I can create it and add it to the notes but the first is quite inconvenient, particularly because I work with teenagers. Also I can’t wait for the future of this app and improvements on functionality like using the Apple Pencil and further personalization of tabs and task sections!

Finally! What I need and want!
I can’t remember the last time I wrote an app review, but this is worth my time. I was able to sync all 5 members of my immediate family's Google academic & extracurricular calendars, adding in other events, and adding my Artful account to my kids’ phones. This is such a big deal because I am a public teacher, wife to full-time paramedic/part time small business owner, & involved mom who deals with my own ADHD as well as my family members'. For me to sit and complete 2+ months worth of HEAVY schedules on a Sunday, there must have been a dopamine payout. 😂 The customizations are BEAUTIFUL!!! And the daily page is phenomenal for a digital calendar. I can even do my lesson schedules there! I love the priority vs. less impt. digitally checkable tasks! This tired teacher mama is elated! Our other (most popular on the internet) family planner subscription at a comparable price could not do some of these things. I've already deleted that old one even though the year's only half over. I can't wait to get an inexpensive tablet to post our family agenda in the kitchen. I'm also so eager to see what else you come up with for teacher/parents! THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU!!!

Adulthood ADHD and Artful Agenda
This planner has honestly helped me so much already. I struggle with planning, and keeping on track at all, as I have ADHD and was finally diagnosed at 29 years old this past year. I struggle a lot with feeling overwhelmed by the tasks that I have in front of me, so I need to find a very rigid system and stick to it. This planner has helped me so much because of the color coding, integration with my google calendar, and just the overall satisfying aesthetics of it. I feel peaceful, and my brain does not feel overwhelmed with information when I use this format. I think it’s so vital to find a format and system that works best for you individually, so every planner is a lot of trial and error for all of us. This one happens to work really well for me, even though I struggle with the feeling of “ADHD paralysis” where I procrastinate because there is just too much to do, and I look at the whole picture rather than just a small bit of it. So thankful that I found this app, and have been able to make use of it to meet my needs in work and in life. SO worth the subscription. <3

Ideas for Improvement
This app is really amazing, it does the best job emulating a handwritten agenda of any app. That being said, I have some notes to help it improve: - landscape mode needs to be incorporated into the mobile app. So when you're in the Weekly view you can turn your phone and see all the days at a glance. I see this is available in the iPad version, and it absolutely needs to be a functionality within the mobile app as well. - Add a dark mode. So the pages are black instead of white. Better yet, allow customization of the color. - Create an Apple Watch app. So pretty much as you have with the Apple calendar app, you'd be able to add your calendar events to your watch face. - Add widgets of all sizes for the home screen. - Add functionality for the app icon to show today's date (maybe where the AA letters currently are). - Create functionality to be able to drag a calendar event to another day from the Day view. Again, this app is beautiful and I commend that. But it also comes with a high premium for membership and charges extra for new stickers and cover packs. Given this, I have very high expectations for this app to continue to strive for increased functionality and beauty.

Artful is so close to the best solution for my very complicated scheduling situation
Love so many features!!! If you are a hard core paper planner This is hands d down the best solution to keep the creative and aesthetic but maximize efficiency and accessibility. For me there are a couple feature upgrades I would really need that I’ve submitted to support but I have a key complicated scheduling situation!! I’ll edit to add those details. I think it’s the best option out there for digital placement for paper planner (which is it’s mission I think). I was a hardcore paper planner and paper list person for a long long time. This one has the beauty of paper and the flexibility and convenience of digital. If my life was simpler it might work for me. I find Todoist by far the best software for lists since I have a lot of list reminders for different categories (work, home, errands, etc…) and I just really wish it had the feature to sync (even if it was an occasional manual option to pull it in). And the calendar issue negates the month view for me. But I’m glad you’re liking it. It’s cheaper than many paper planners, stickers, stamps, markers, pens etc as well and far more eco friendly. 💕

Worth the time investment to set up!
I have tried a variety of planners and bullet journals but just couldn’t find the perfect fit until I saw AA. I spent the two week trial setting up Google calendars for all of our different needs. It took some time to set up but I was able to quickly get the hang of color coding and using repeating tasks to make the setup faster. It never failed that I wouldn’t have my paper planner with me when I needed to schedule appointments but this is no longer an issue! I love being able to see our day and week at a glance and still use colors, emojis, and/or stickers to satisfy my creative side. I prefer viewing the monthly view on my laptop/desktop as well as adding the stickers there. Decorating is so cumbersome on the phone and that monthly view is too squished. However, in a pinch it is nice to have it on the phone as well. My family is all able to login to view my calendars and lists so no more waiting on me to know what the plan is on any given day. Having the FB community available to share ideas has been SO helpful!

I really like this app!
I do best when I can see my schedule and tasks at the same time. While I love digital PDF planners, they don’t work for me very well across devices (can’t update a PDF planner on my phone), it is ridiculously tedious to copy my digital calendar to the PDF planner and I struggled to keep up. I hemmed and hawed on whether to purchase a subscription or “make do” with multiple apps (or put my to-dos on the calendar!) After trying it out with the free trial, I finally decided to go for it. This app takes care of my need to see the schedule and tasks at the same time, keep it digital so I can us it on my phone too, and it looks like a planner which is a nice touch. Plus, stickers! Of course, there are always things you wish you could change, but you can customize a few of the sections to make it suit your needs a little more. I found both customer service and tech support very responsive and very pleasant. Looking forward to some of the future features (color-coding or highlighting tasks). Overall, very pleased.

Such a good app!
I have to I NEVER write reviews, but I had to for this one. I have been using paper planners since I discovered them in High School. About a year ago I found this app because I needed something I know I could use at work, at home, and when I’m out and about with family, friends or kid events without whipping out a paper planner. Having a web based version allows me to use my laptop at work so it doesn’t look like I’m on the phone all the time at work, and I’m able to leave it open all day without it kicking me out. As a mom, employee and a side business owner, I can also keep track of different tasks in different groups each day to focus on and title them how I want. Not to mention the lists section to keep track of anything I want- set goals, forecast projects, etc. and having the ability to see what is forecasted for the future updates is really nice! This is buy far with the money when you compare plum-paper planners that I had been buying the last several years.

Great idea but lacking
I bought a year subscription in June and used the app for the last couple of months. The good: I love that I can look at the monthly view and actually see my appointments and not just dots. The weekly and daily views are great too. And I like being able to add in to-do lists and meals. The bad: I can’t add travel time—this is big for my family, especially during sports season when some games are an hour away. I’ve also noticed that repeated events don’t always show up on the calendar on all the days. When I open the event, all the days are there, but the colored bar ends a day short. I ended up adding a separate event just to get it to show on the last day. Lastly, when I’m adding events my options don’t always stay selected. I go through adding the title, changing the color, and setting the time, only to find that something didn’t stay how I set it. When I’m adding a lot of things, I don’t want to have to go back and reselect options. This is a really beautiful app and such a great idea. Unfortunately, it’s just not functional enough for me right now, so I’m going back to Apple calendar.

Love this planner!
I've always been a paper planner person. I'm a travel advisor and would take my planner with me on my trips. I decided to not take it with me on vacation this past December since I was enjoying the week off and wouldn't be working. Our return flights were canceled and I was stuck in Florida for 4 days. I didn't have access to my planner for my "to do" lists during that time and needed to get my work done. This was when I started searching for a digital planner that I could have with me at all times. Artful Agenda came highly recommended in one of the travel agent groups I'm in. So, I decided to give it a try and I fell in love with it! I love having it readily available when I'm working on my laptop but also having the app on my phone so I can easily access it whenever I need it. It has helped me be more organized and I love that you can personalize it with the stickers. I've already recommended it to others. So happy to have found this amazing digital planner!

Love The Layout
I love this app. I honestly feel a lot more productive since using it. The layout is perfect to see my calendar and tasks and also the meal plan for the week/day. I love the planner feel of it because I have always been a paper planner person but I need my planner to be electronic so I always have it in my hand. However I only gave it four stars because of things that I think could improve for the tasks. This is honestly the first app review I have ever written and I’m writing it because I love this app and I’m hoping the creators can tweak these couple things. 1. I would love to be able to categorize my tasks. Even if I can just change the font color that would be huge! As long as I can visually see the different colors for my tasks then I can mentally know what category they fall under. 2. I know others have mentioned this but being able to repeat tasks would be amazing and save a good bit of time re-typing them in. I do love that I don’t have to schedule a time for them because that bothers me so much about other to do list apps. But if we could repeat things it would help a lot.

Wonderful Tactile Planner with the Convenience of Digital!
I love bullet journals. I think they’re beautiful and expressive, and such a visually appealing way to stay organized and on top of things. But for me, they take waaaaay to much creative time and energy for me to actually benefit from it at the current time in my life. But other calendar apps just aren’t engaging enough for me to use consistently. Enter Artful Agenda. It brings a visual, tactile element to my ever-present digital devices, which also works to keep it handy at all times. While I prefer using it on the iPad, the ability to see it on my phone while out and about means I’m way more likely to update and use it when I need it. I’m very excited to see more customization and flexibility come to the app (I know scribbling with the Pencil is in beta now!), so in time, I envision the ability to do full on bullet journal level art styles when time allows, with the same low creative and raw physical material investment that frees up my sketching in Procreate.

Exactly what I wanted
I have used a lot of digital planners because I like the look of a paper planner with color and stickers but always was frustrated by having to fill in manually all of the stuff already on my calendar. This does a great job and allows me to set up a calendar for each family member to add their schedule to and I can see them all at once in my planner! Also love that it easily and seamlessly can be used on iPad, iPhone and Desktop which is so great. I’m pretty new so maybe there are some ways to do these but a couple things that I think would make this even more amazing would be the ability to add custom stickers, and for more customization in trackers. I don’t really use the water tracker but I would love to be able to track different habits, etc. in a visual way. Also I am a designer so the vision boards would be an awesome addition as well! Overall though I think it is wonderfully designed and hits all the marks for a great digital planner!

Expensive
I was looking to change over to a digital planner that had the same functionality as my paper planner. This one fit most of my criteria. I ultimately went back to my paper planner because of price and convenience. I would have liked to purchase one month rather than the entire year. It is hard to decide if a planner is right for you in just a weeks time (the trial) and I had to purchase an entire year subscription. After about 3 months, I knew the planner wasn’t fitting my needs so the option to pay for a smaller increments would of been nice. Some of my favorite things: -being able to rollover unfinished tasks -multiple sections to keep work, family, and personal items separated Drawbacks -had to continually switch back and forth between my planner and work tasks on the iPad -the cost of the digital planner is more than the cost of my paper planner -there were some error messages where items weren’t moved properly and then lost (which turned out to be a much larger problem when the items weren’t properly on the planner when I needed them)

My planner peace
I've done paper planners. Lots of them. I like them but always felt there was a clumsiness when I need it with me. I tried digital planners and transferring calendar items was a waste of time. I found Artful Agenda. This is my planner peace. Convenience of my planner with me at all times. Desktop, iPad and phone. Like a digital planner but syncing all of my calendars (work and personal) is so time saving, productive and plain helpful. I love the tasks section and notes which i use for my budget tracking. This is the longest I've stuck with consistently tracking my budget and financial goals. and LISTS!!! Finally I have a convenient place for my notes, turning them into action items and assigning to appropriate day via tasks. This is an all in one app for what I use to use separately (calendar, tasks, notes). I haven't even touched on the customer support. I made a near fatal error with a list and they were able to fix for me. AMAZING. They listen to feedback and constantly improve the app. I am a lifer. Clearly I'm a fan.

Great Planner
I’ve always been a paper planner person. When my favorite was discontinued, I’ve been on a very expensive journey since, trying to find the best fit. I found the busier I have become with work and personal life, carrying a paper planner was not working as well. After trying a few digital planners I came across Artful Agenda. I used it for 2 days and immediately decided this was the one. I went ahead and paid the annual fee. I carry two phones with me and when my work phone is put away for family time, I love that I can still look on my personal phone and see my work schedule when trying to plan something. I keep my AG open on my laptop all day at work because it is my go to for all things appointment, tasks, and list related. I really love this calendar. A few things I wish it had but lacked, is that when in landscape mode on your phone, that the calendar would landscape as well. It currently does not. Also wish you could zoom in on the page. These are not a deal breaker for me though, since it checks off what I need it to do.

Syncs with iCloud & Google calendar
I am a plannerista, at one time I had 13 Happy Planners that I used everyday. So, ya I love planners! Anyway, I didn’t like the direction HP was heading and didn’t feel right about supporting them anymore. I tried probably 8 different digital planners in my attempt to replace my HP’s but I struggled cause I’d have to put everything into my digital planner so I could organize it and then put it in my iCloud calendar so I would get notifications on my watch (I have ADD, so it helps to have my time sensitive things on my watch face) but now, as soon as I put my time sensitive stuff into artful agenda, it shows up on my phone and watch. Plus I still get to keep my to-do lists that I love so much and even a wellness log each day! I still have a paper planner because I love them so much, but I was able to stay far away from HP and their nonsense and I’m 1000% more organized now than when I was running 13 planners each day! Thank you artful agenda!

Love the Look!
I’ve been trying several planner apps to find what works best for me. I have been using Artful Agenda for a few days and will purchase when my trial expires. I love the look! I’m a long time paper planner user but that is just not working for me these days. I need something I can view on all my devices and Artful Agenda does just that. I also love that it can be synced with Apple and Google Calendars. Many of the digital apps do not have that feature. It seems pretty easy to use, as well, and you do not need another paid app (like Goodnotes or Xodo) for it to function. I do wish the iPad or iPhone apps showed the time of events on the monthly page. It does on the laptop but not on the other devices. I wish there were pages for journaling or other notes (not lists). This feature would earn 5 stars for Artful Agenda! My current paper planner has extra pages and areas for additional notes and I use them frequently. But all in all this is the closest to what I would like in a digital planner.

Switching from this back to my boring calendar
I gave Artful Agenda a try at the beginning of 2023, but today I went back to Calendars 5. It is a beautiful app, but I just couldn’t get it to sync with all my calendars and that was a dealbreaker for me. To be fair I contacted customer support and they were great (for birthdays, they suggested importing into Google, contacts, then using that calendar instead of my iPhone calendar/contacts). But after a bit that stopped working. Other minor calendars would also stop syncing—they would show up in settings, but I couldn’t click the box to show that calendar without deleting and re-adding the calendar. I work with multiple calendars and I don’t have time to fuss around with settings every few weeks to make sure I’m not missing something. I think customer support is wonderful and they would probably fix my issues if I could invest the time, but I need calendars and event reminders that just sync and work with the multiple calendars I have already set up.

On its way to greatness!
This is the seed of a great app but several things are preventing me from recommending it at this point. #1–the stickers are a unorganized, ugly and do not stay precisely where placed—not on the same device and not from one device to another, they seem to snap to some predetermined location just off of where I actually placed them. I want aesthetically pleasing stickers with precise placement—the whole upside of this app over other calendars is supposed to be the pretty factor yes? #2-so much wasted screen space! On both the iPad and desktop. The leafy background is pretty but wastes screen real estate to the point where I can’t read my calendar, even on my 16” MacBook. #3-the price is outrageous, it doesn’t offer $4/month in value over just using Google or Apple calendars. ...For now I will continue to use my GoodNotes digital planner and wait for this app to mature and get significantly cheaper. It has a fantastic idea but it just wasn’t functional enough to pay a premium monthly price for—yet! Keep the updates coming and I’ll be back to check it out next year :)

So close to what I need!
First of all, love how pretty this planner is! I have faithfully been a paper planner person for many years, but I just got a iPad and pencil and realized how convenient and fun it would be to try a digital version. I’ve tried a planner template on GoodNotes, but it wasn’t right for me… this one is less free form, but with better organization and added convenience of syncing my calendars as well as being able to view everything on my phone or MacBook too. The only things that are bothering me so far are for one, although the stickers are cute and much easier to use than the ones on GoodNotes, it drives me nuts that the stickers don’t stay in the same place when I change from portrait to landscape mode and see the same issue when looking at the app on my phone. It also is lacking black notes pages. Sometimes I just need to write things down before organizing them into a list or appointment on the planner pages, of course I could use a different app for that, but I thought it would be a nice addition (being able to hand write and doodle with Apple Pencil would be a huge plus!) And lastly, I wish that if I write something in the task lists or on the monthly page, it didn’t get cut off. I would like to be able to see the entire text on separate lines if necessary. But honestly overall, I’m really enjoying this app and it is definitely my favorite digital planner I’ve tried so far! It’s functional while still being decorative.

Great planner app
I had been looking for a while for a way to better organize my life and am so glad I found this app. I love that I can sync all my calendars in one spot, and updates in Artful Agenda sync to my iOS calendars (crucial for keeping family members up to date). I love that I can actually see events in the monthly view on my iPhone (as opposed to the pretty useless “dots” for events on the default iOS calendar app). I also love how pretty and fun it is to use. My only (minor in comparison) gripe is that stickers seem to shift position when switching between the iPhone app/iPad app/desktop app (probably related to size differences). If there was a way to keep the stickers in the same spot and relative size across apps that would be wonderful. This issue has limited some of my sticker use since sometimes they will end up blocking events in other views. I would also love a way to place stickers behind events instead of in front.

Very Nice!
I was looking for a unique, somewhat whimsical calendar/planner and found it in Artful Agenda - I wanted something that I would actually WANT to look at (and therefore use…), and this one caught my eye. There’s a lot to love if you’re looking for something with a little personality - themes and fonts take it beyond the usual (read: boring…) calendar apps. Stickers and lots of color add a touch of whimsy. I’m a list-maker, so the Lists feature is a plus. It’s easy to navigate and use. A few wish-fors that kept me from adding that 5th star :)… - The ability to bold or underline fonts in the calendar would be awesome, or being able to add color to an entire day. I use different colors for my vs. my kid’s stuff, but being able to add some formatting would be super useful. - Setting alarms can be a little wonky sometimes when trying to get the “number of” (hours, minutes, etc.) field to turn active. It can be temperamental. - Likewise with setting recurrences - I’ve seen those in places they shouldn’t be, checked what I set, and had to delete and re-enter. Thankfully it’s only been a couple of times! And like everyone else, more stickers please! Beyond those relatively minor things, I’m really enjoying this planner! It’s well worth it (to me anyway) to pay for something I know I’ll use and that inspires me to be better organized. Recommend to anyone who agrees with that!

EDITED! I'm an hour in
Edit: Rating dropped from 5 stars to one, due to a continuing issue with Apples app specific password, and tech support being non responsive for a month. Good app, many bugs that make using the software much less appealing. Wish I could get a refund. And I already know I'll be continuing to use this app. I've been hunting for an ADHD friendly digital planner, and this is the best I've found. The ONLY negatives I can find is that I wish there was either a tab with pages we could choose to include or not (goal tracking, savings planning, etc., but not everyone uses all of them, so the option to include them or not would be nice), a "Monthly preview" that asks you to set goals and plan for them, and "monthly review" page for each month that asked "Which goals did you accomplish? What goals are moving on to the next month? What are you grateful for this month?" I feel that really helps me stay mindful and present. Other than those things, I REALLY like this app. The quotes are a nice touch, I love the color coding, and the stickers are easy to use and fun. The yanks for making something my brand of neurospicy can understand!

Nope, don’t do it
I have spent from November to March trying to get support for multiple entries, entries that won’t erase, entries that disappear and reappear entries that wont appear. I was using this as my work calendar. This caused several scheduling issues. Immediately contacted support in November. Each email I received from “support“ asked me to jump through more and more hoops. This seemed like a lot of work for the customer on top of having an incorrect calendar. I immediately returned each email and would wait at least a week for a response. I did everything I asked of me to no avail. At one point my ticket was lost and waited weeks for a response that I never did receive. Tech support was eventually offered to me but only Sat or Sunday or 8pm at night. I have used several other calendar apps without issue in the past. This is not user error. Only entries made in the Artful Agenda app caused issues (tried to convince me it was an Apple or other calendar issue). Currently using Tiny Calendar with no issues. I would not recommend this app if you want an accurate calendar. As of today, no refund has been made despite repeated requests.

Love it!
I’ve been looking for a good planner app since leaving my last job where I had a really great one, and this one checks all the boxes! Set up super well, cute, and easy to use! I would really like it if you were able to zoom in and out on the daily view to adjust how big or small events are because it’s nice to see it all at once sometimes or in more detail other times. Also an option to choose the default time that’s at the top of your screen when you switch days would be really nice, ie mine defaults to 1pm and I would really prefer to choose like 8am or something rather then have to scroll up every time I switch days. Or change it to where it stays at whatever time frame you’re currently looking at on a day as you swipe, if that makes sense. Other than that, maybe ways to track more personalized things the way you can with water would be awesome!

So versatile and convenient
I loved my paper planner but I found it too restrictive (when something changed for the week, I hated that I had to make it messy by crossing things out! Plus, I sometimes need to keep track of more things than one paper planner can easily handle but keeping multiple planners is a no-go for me—too confusing) and I had a hard time keeping it up to date when I was on the go. Plus I’m left handed and planners just aren’t made for lefties 😅 Artful Agenda has been the perfect solution! I can toggle calendars on and off, everything stays synced and in one place (to-dos, calendars, lists), the task lists are customizable and flexible, everything seamlessly syncs into a monthly, weekly, and daily view —AND I save tons of time each week that I used to spend meticulously transferring things from Google Cal into my paper planner. Oh! And there are digital stickers for when I’m feeling fancy! I love my Artful Agenda.

Finally the search for the perfect planner is over!
This planner covers it all (and I have tried many others)Here are some of the features I love: 1. it is a fun and beautiful calendar! I have it on my Mac, iphone and ipad and they sync perfectly! 2. I relabeled one of the boxes on the Day view as: Daily Notes. Yep, it is my journal! I take notes of doctor's appointmet, phone conversations, even all the thoughts I have swimming in my head etc. 3. There is a section named Habits. Rather than using it for habits I use it to track my migraines. I have had migraines most of my life. I failed at documenting them until now. At a glance I can see how many I have had. In my Daily Notes section I will often document what meds I used to get rid of my migraine and how long I had it. AND I can search throughout the whole planner! it is well worth the money to be able to keep all my information in one spot.

Paper planner now digital
I have been using paper planners for 40 years and my life can’t function without it. I have been looking for a digital planner that resembles a paper one and up until now I have only found outside planners that need to be used through another app. I have purchased a few and they are not user friendly which makes me use it less. A came upon Artful Agenda and I am in love with the app. I finally feel it will replace my paper planner, or at least 2 of the 3. This app even works with my Samsung Fold 4 S Pen. I can use bold font, color my calendars, add stickers that come with the app and so much more. I am constantly looking at my artful agenda and getting ideas as how to stay organize. I love that it is always with me. This is the only paper planner app out there that makes you feel you are using a paper planner. This is a great start to 2023!

Best Calendar App!
I love Artful Agenda! I used to have a paper planner and undone tasks would get lost, I had to rewrite things from the family digital calendar and vice versa, I forgot deadlines... a|a has changed all that! I am more productive, I don’t forget the little things, and I get to play with digital stickers to make my planner cute! Plus I’m saving a ton of money not buying paper planners, stickers, etc. One of the best things for me personally is that a calendar I’m subscribed to for my church’s board (I’m on the Board of Trustees) NEVER showed up on Google no matter how many times I reset it; but it shows up on a|a! That has been incredibly helpful since I’m also on committees and there have been days I forgot we had a meeting until the president sent the 1 hr reminder. That is a thing of the past with a|a. Their customer service is fabulous, the FB group is fun and helpful, and you can’t go wrong with a free trial. Just get it. You’ll love it!

Paper Planner Convert
I have always used paper planners. I love to pick one that is as beautiful as it is functional, which is why I shied away from using the calendar app that came with my phone. However, with kids going in many directions, I found that I need to be able to communicate our ever changing schedule with my husband and kiddos more easily, so I was thrilled to find Artful Agenda. It is very easy to use so I got up and running in no time. I sync it to our family sharing calendar so they can see what’s going on. I can easily switch between my iPad and phone and I love that you can change the font and colors and also add stickers and lists to each day. The developers are very involved in asking for suggestions and implementing upgrades, as well as helping with technical issues. And there’s a Facebook group full of tips and help. Highly recommend!

Like it but something is missing
I like this app. It had everything I wanted in a calendar app. One of the main things was the fact that you can block out time in your calendar and sync with your other calendars. I also love that we can change the hex codes to coordinate with the colors we want. I just wished I could save all the colors I chose so I don’t have to write down the color codes somewhere else. Also, the meal section seems to have a glitch. Only a third of the box works. The rest of it you can’t even type on. The other task section doesn’t move to the next line when whatever you type is longer than the width of the box. That really annoyed me. I also wished there was an option to upload your own stickers to the app because I’m not a big fan of the stickers that they offer. All in all, it worked well but not for the yearly price. I think I will continue to search for the perfect planner app and stick to my digital planner on my GoodNotes app until I find something worth paying for.

Exactly what I needed!
Y’all I just gotta say thank you to the a|a team for this app. I’ve been using it for a little over a week and it has been a godsend! I’ve always wanted to be that person that could keep beautiful paper planners because the colors make me happy but I’m not organized enough to keep up with it, I hated going back and forth writing in my Google invites and having to erase/mark through/whiteout changed events. I am in LOVE with my digital calendar. I love that it syncs on its own and I still get all the fun stickers and colors. I’m so happy. I’ve seen other reviews mention that the subscription is to expensive or they don’t like having to pay for certain sticker packs or whatever else but honestly I feel like the cost is very on par but still less than what you would spend yearly on a paper calendar and all of the accessories you’d put in it. The bonus here being it takes a lot of the work out of it because this app syncs with your online calendars automatically and updates itself! And once you buy the sticks or other extras once, you have them for life instead of repurchasing. The developers are super quick at replying to tickets when things do pop up and they’re highly receptive to recommendations and input. It’s a app that actually cares about user experience.

Good For Google Syncing
I have to admit that I loved this app in the beginning, but the more I got into it the more I realized I wanted that wasn’t available. There aren’t very many sticker packs included in the subscription fee and I didn’t love the ones available (I felt like I was settling when decorating). I also didn’t like how the mobile version of my desktop browser was so squished. I would try and make it pretty one on version only to not look great on the other. The backgrounds are a similar situation; cute, but there weren’t enough options (especially free) for me to find something I really liked. This app is good at the thing it promises: it syncs with Google and other calendars and makes it cute. It also has a cool tasks feature (which I felt was a bit clunky on mobile). I love this idea, but I ended up finding an app that didn’t make me feel like I was settling for a cute, digital planner and was marginally more expense for many more sticker/cover/decoration options.

Great alternative to paper planner
I love paper planners in theory—and often buy 2 every year—but practically, the ones that work best for my needs are too bulky and heavy to carry around all the time. Enter Artful Agenda. I’ve been using it for a few months, and I am hooked! I love that the planner is with me anytime I have my phone (or iPad or laptop). I love that the app syncs with calendars across platforms (Outlook, google, Mac). And I especially love that the planner is well-designed and includes creative elements like different cover designs, font choices, and digital stickers. I know a lot of people don’t like the idea of paying a subscription fee, but for me, the Artful Agenda subscription price is less than I’ve been paying for a paper planner each year. (And, again, I often bought 2 per year. 🤷🏻‍♀️) Paying less money for a planner that I will actually use and not end up leaving at home is win-win for me!

Nice digital planner
I’ve never written an app review before, but I had to write one for this app. I love that it integrates with my Google calendar, let’s me keep track of tasks, and helps me track meals and water intake. I’ve been using this for about three weeks and I love it so far. I really really love paper planners but can never keep up with them and always end up using my Google calendar. This gives me the experience of a paper planner and ability to write lists with the Google calendar integration. Well worth the price (which is less than what I was paying yearly for fancy paper planners). I would like more covers and more sticker options. I would also like it if somehow the colors of the tasks on Google calendar could also transfer to the artful agenda; but I have no idea how this would work and I’m doing ok color coding tasks in both without it.

Artful Agenda changed my life! Amazing idea!
For a long time, I have wanted to get a digital planner on my iPad/computer because I am a great digital artist and webmaster. Due to my disability (Cerebral Palsy), I can’t even jot down in a paper planner. It was difficult to find a perfect digital version of a paper planner. However, this app has changed my life because everything is organized! I absolutely love this planner app! I can type my events, tasks, and lists on this app. There are so many unique and stylish covers! Omg, that’s unbelievable how you made these covers. I selected rose gold glitter as my planner cover - this cover matches my style and personality. Thank you for making this happen! I really appreciate how you got an innovative idea for the digital planner! I’m so grateful for this app! I would highly recommend this app for those with motor disabilities who can’t use a paper planner. I can’t wait to use it as my own planner!

Amazing planner, easy to use
For a long time I’ve used my phone as my main planner but missed the fun of customizing that you get from using paper planners. This app allows just the right amount of customization to make it feel like you are actually writing in your paper planner. I love the stickers, lists, views, fonts, really just all of the customization options. I love that I can make my grocery list, bills list, calendar all in one place. This app has replaced two other apps that I was using to do this. So far, I feel this app is worth the price (really just the price of a paper planner and sticker book) and is on par for what I was paying for those other two apps. So far I would highly recommend this app for anyone that usually uses their phone to stay organized. It runs fast, doesn’t crash or have ads. I’m hooked!

Franklin planner meets digital era
I’m old school. I began my adult life using a Franklin planner. After becoming a mom and then the invention of iPhones with Reminders and iCal syncing across all platforms I did away with my paper planner, but I always missed the focused approach to tasks, prioritizing them and carrying them over when they didn’t get completed. Setting monthly goals to keep me on track with my values, and the blank page on the right where I could jot down notes, directions, thoughts, feelings, etc. Then I found Artful Agenda and the hallelujah chorus sang! It’s like a marriage between my old planner life and my new digital life. I can have multiple calendars for home and work, and I can identify important tasks for each day. I’ll be a life long user. They are continuously making improvements and seeking to make it the best planner ever. Try it, you’ll like it 😉

Needs work...
Update: I’m really enjoying this agenda now. Started paying now for some months after all the updates. I especially like the notifications and stickers. Note to developer: I need the ability to change the notification alarm and length of the sound. For the most part, I see it but most of the time I can’t hear it. I tried looking for a way to change that but I can’t. Thank you for keeping up with the all aspects of this app. I enjoy using it more now. I love paper agendas and have paid a lot to have all the features this electronic agenda has but this is much better than paper. I really enjoyed the app but as some reviews have stated it’s not worth the price per month. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the visual of it. So much nicer than all the other apps but that’s it. Without push notifications or reminders it’s useless cause I forget to check the time. I need a way to remind me it’s time for the next appointment. I can’t keep looking at my watch or clock for that. Also, it has too many bugs. I’m glad it’s getting repaired as soon as reported but again for the price they should not be so many. I will look again in a few months to see the changes because I do like it, but until I see what I need, I have cancelled my subscription.

Great for teaching/momming/organizing my ADD
I’m an elementary school teacher, a mom and live with ADD. My worlds frequently become too much to juggle independently and I’d get planner overload and organizing fatigue. Stuff would slip, I’d miss appts and feel like garbage. Using artful agenda for like a week and I already feel more in control of all the things to remember. I like the calendar sync being easy, I made family to share with husband and work and personal calendars. I can organize all the teacher stuff separately and it’s visually appealing, so I want to use it. Having add I have tried every paper/online calendar and have usually Multiple ones that don’t cover it all. This feels good, clean and I can be on top of things. The stickers are adorable, the covers are chic and the Facebook group actually gives suggestions about what is coming next or what features we’d like in the future.

Good but could use improvement!
Although I genuinely enjoy this app, I feel like there are several improvements that need to be made in order for it to be great. My main criticism is pretty small — I would like to be able to customize the quotes that are autogenerated. Some of the quotes that come up are by people who I know to be historical figures that I have strong political disagreements with. This ruins the experience for me, and I would love to be able to simply edit and put my own quote there. I also think the alarms should be more customizable. Currently, I am only able to set alarms for 9 AM, which is not very helpful in terms of reminding me for an appointment. I would also appreciate the ability to synchronize with people using other software, such as google calendars. I prefer this to google calendars, but I would like to be able to sync with other people who use it and invite them to edit my events. Other than that, I appreciate this app’s usability and how it lets me customize my day.

Definitely the best digital planner I’ve used so far!
I really love this planner! The different covers are all so cute and I really like how easy it is to navigate the app. I love that you can also sync google/apple calendars to it as well. My favorite thing would have to be that I can use it on my phone and my computer and it instantly syncs to both, it’s so much easier for me to type out all my lists and details on my computer and then just pull them up on my phone! My only suggestion is the layout when on my phone doesn’t show a lot. If I’m in day or week mode I can only view a few hours at a time, instead of being able to see the entire day or most of the day. I think it would be helpful if we could zoom out on the week or the day to be able to view a larger amount of time so that users can more easily see events and etc. at a glance!
