I joined the the ACU in 1978. This banking group has steadily improved their systems and locations immensely throughout this span of time. They are really helpful and polite. They worked with us several years ago to purchase some rental property and it really helped out with retirement. I would recommend this group to anyone needing a bank for the first time or needing a switch.
I have no issues with atomic, never have. However, they had a new app update today and it’s absolutely horrible. Just like any other app, it typically has updates every once in awhile, but every update has been perfectly fine. But this update is just NOT it. I’ve banked with atomic since 2019 and have always loved their app. Use to make everything so much easier. However, this new one is just a bit more difficult. It use to highlight in green anytime any transfer or deposit was made and now it doesn’t. Transferring is a bit weird. I do like that the routing number is easier to find. But that’s about it.
They are 10/10 they have such nice people laid back help you out in any type of way hope To keep with them and get good experience with them as time goes on
I am a forever member to Atomic credit union. I've had nothing but good experiences there and I love to watch the company invest and focus on young adults and seeing them climb the ladder of success!
Please stop changing the mobile app. Every time the app changes. I am in able to access my account and I wait for the branch to open to fix it. If is not broken don’t fix it
I had trouble creating an account for the mobile ap because I kept putting a 0 in front of the account #. Sent an email to them and they told me to leave it off. Worked fine after that. It's nice to have a mobile ap now. Would like to see something for Apple Pay.
This new app doesn’t have some of the features that I really liked on the other app, ie; I could add a note if I moved money from 1 account to another, (that was very handy) also when our payroll check was deposited we could look and see what had been in the account and what the exact amount that was deposited now you can’t. It also wont fit on my phone, when I go to the page where you can log out I can’t see the logout, and I can’t even scroll to get to it. So I have to just swipe the page away, this makes me very uncomfortable.
Wouldn’t recommend this bank or app to anyone. Want a loan go somewhere else unless you have next to perfect credit or our friends or family with someone who works there. Will ask for you first born child as collateral. App always freezes if it works at all. Constant software updates but still nothing worth changing and always screws up after their update. High school computer teacher is their programmer I suppose. Small town bank who thinks they are a corporate bank. Needs to do a actual update that is more progressed then 2005. Don’t waste your time. Would rate negative if it was a choice.
Gave it one star because I was unable to give it less than that. Why was it changed so drastically? It was very inconvenient when this app was updated over the weekend. I think the goal was to update the app to make it worse. I dislike the background picture. I feel like the only type of person who would find the new app aesthetically pleasing would be young white females who argue daily with a guy named chad while holding an iced coffee in one hand, a small yorkie in the other while wearing oversized sunglasses and Ugg’s in the the summer time.
This is the 3rd app change in my 10 years with the bank and the worse!! Any computer technician knows to run a parallel system before discarding the old app. A novice must have developed this app as there are more problems than good things about it. I rely on my smart phone and don’t have a computer. I’m thinking very seriously about switching banks if this app is not improved by spring of 2022.
For my iPhone 13, the app is constantly crashing. Even trying to delete it and reboot, or even restarting my phone, does not work. I hate the inconvenience of calling, waiting on the phone, and trouble-shooting. AGAiN. At this point, I am considering switching to a bigger bank with better/easier tech help…
Very easy system for transferring funds from one account to another. The Atomic is the real deal when it comes down to Credit Unions or banks. With a system this good I don’t have to go to a teller or reach the Call Center to transfer funds!
After the latest update to the app it stopped accepting my log-in credentials, and with the fingerprint log-in seemingly missing (at least from what I can see) I can no longer access my account through the app. Trying to have a password reset sent to me is just met with a “we were unable to validate your account” error message. After banking here for the better part of a decade this is a major inconvenience.
The app has prevented me from logging into my account at some pretty inconvenient times. Crashes, tells me the URL is not supported, or just flat out “ERROR”. Lately it will attempt a Face ID scan at login, then get stuck repeatedly, doing the scan over and over but never logging me in. I deleted the app and am reloading it. Hope that helps 🤞🏼
Atomic does not take care of people that been with them for 25 years would not make good for any Of Forgery checks and took six months to get my check in again not notify me of my debit card was taking a vantage of the Robber took $8000 before they notified me but When 250 was on my Credit card they notified me right away call me right away....???
This app is absolute trash. It is unreliable and prevents the user from seeing their pending transactions. Keeps showing my assets as a negative number instead of what’s in the account. I’m not talking account or pending balance, it’s total assets. Called the bank several times, told to ignore it bc “I’m sure it’s a glitch.” I have to use a laptop to see true account info. The last app was way better than this garbage.
Anytime the app logs me out and I go to log back in it always tells me my stuff is wrong even when I know it’s correct. I wrote it down the exact way and it’s still telling me it’s wrong. When I go to change password it tells me my information is incorrect. It’s my information I would know if it’s wrong or correct. Absolutely ridiculous I shouldnt have to struggle with a bank app.
Will not allow me to login with correct credentials
Just as the title says. Throws an "unknown login error" message when trying to login, even though I can access my account from my laptop just fine. Also, the UI is atrocious. Consider hiring some better app developers, because this new update is just as broken as the old app. This is why I do most of my banking with discover now.
I have been with Atomic since they first opened in Jackson. Love them but not this app. I have downloaded and used it a while then al of a sudden it didn't recognize my login info. So I deleted it and started over and again worked once and then wouldn't recognize my login!! Had to go to the desktop to do my online banking. Please get this working as it would be very convenient if it worked correctly.
Current version when using thumbprint login, makes you log in the standard way if you want to transfer funds which means fingerprint login is useless. Contact us on home screen times out if you use it without being logged in which deletes anything that you've already typed before it times out.
Worked for about 2 weeks then stopped working. Gave me a “unsupported url” error, then after closing the app and loading it back up, showed a blank blue screen.
They changed this app for the worse for sure. I can’t even see the full screen on my phone. It’s cut off on the sides and bottom and instead of using a 4 digit pin to get in you have to type a full password everytime. Absolute worst system update and design I’ve seen. Not happy.
Really good saves me time from running to the bank or calling to see how much money I have only problem it seems like is it’s always down for maintenance lately
What’s the point in having an app if it only works half the time? And the new update made both the website and app worse. It was an inconvenience before, but now it seems like it crashes more often than it doesn’t. Very disappointed.
I emailed them and they explained me what I was doing wrong, I was putting zeros at the end of the account number that didn't need to be there, and now it's working just fine!
After the recent update, the app has prevented me from logging in for a month and a half now, and if I try and register for an account with my pre-existing checking accounts, it will not let me. Very displeased with this app now.
I dislike the white on white text/due dates/amounts
I really don't like the white on white text when looking at balance. The worst part of this app is that your payment amount and due date should be on the tab with with various loans.
After you transfer money it will not let you log in for 1+hours it just tells you your password is wrong and it’s been like this for over a year it’s the same on there website
This app is ridiculous. Multiple time i have tried to log in the app is down or they are having trouble. Something needs to change or i just need to switch banks.
Haven’t been able to log into my account for 4 days because they thought an updated was needed. Well know I can’t even log into my account with this “new update”. Thanks atomic
What's the deal? Lol Good lord. When I went into one of your banking locations and asked about Apple Pay, the manager stated that atomic credit union has no intentions of allowing customers to use atomic credit union with Apple Pay. This is why I switched to navy federal.
