Love this app!!

Been using this app for 5 years and i love everything about it. It even shows you the average you make. Really awesome. Some improvements i would love to have with it... A separate tracking of money paid out that day for expenses (with room for details) and to be able to see that expense clearly for day, week, month or year. Also, to be able to separately track sick, vacation or personal days. And to be able to also write details. Love it and i recommend this app to all my friends and all have ended up downloading and using it!

This is the first time I’ve been disappointed with this app!

This app works amazingly, however as a contractor I am constantly adding new locations to be tracked in the app, just this morning I went to add a new one and was disappointed to find there is a maximum of locations I could have! Why?! I would really love to add more, it help me out so much as a contractor moving from location to location. I would even be willing to pay to add more locations! PLEASE! Is it possible? ( also side note, is there a better place to give y’all feedback)?

Simple and Effective.

I needed app just to keep up with my work hours and days. It evens allows you to dock lunch hour. It does a great job at having a simple interface. You can use others features like filtering job sites, clients, projects, etc. I have 1 job at a brick-n- mortar building. It’s perfect for me. Oh- and it also keeps a running total on your paycheck based on hours per day and pay rate by week, Month, and year. Helpful if you need to know how much your paycheck is going to be

Worthless

Ok I upgraded this app expecting more functionality, and it does let you add fields and specify money or duration or whatever you want. It does not however let you use any sort of formula or rule or anything else. It would be almost useful if they would at least let you use their same formulas like adding a field and being able to specify something as simple as (=EARNINGS*HOURLY RATE) or something. All you can really do is track your hours and add notes to it, it won’t even let you say you get paid a full day for holidays, you have to manually put in the dollar amount and set up every one. If you are looking to save time and effort this app isn’t for you. Don’t waste your money upgrading cause it is absolutely no more useful than the free version.

Good app, but complicated.

I’ve struggled initially to use this app, and it’s mostly my fault for trying to make it do what I wanted, versus learning how it was designed to accomplish my objectives. I only wanted an app to track when I arrived and departed work. I don’t need to know dollars per hour, or anything else. I also don’t want to know total hours by week (or other interval). Only a way to track hours by day. I finally stopped fighting it, and emailed the developer… who was able to assist with instructions I was able to follow.

Too many layers...

Five stars is because it’s a very fine app. It seems to check all the boxes for keeping up with all the details of multiple jobs. If you have multiple tasks, running under multiple projects, with multiple clients, then this app is definitely for you. If you run one project at a time, maybe two, for one or two clients, then this app is WAY overkill, therefore NOT for you. This app was mucho overkill for me.

Time tracking

It is different than the other app that I used but anything different takes a little time. So yes I have project setup to track the learning curve. It has what I am looking for in time tricking and has less over head than the others that I have tried. The feature that would be nice is an import to set all of my Task, Projects and Clients. This is a 5 star app.

Love it, but I have a question.

App works great, and is exactly what I needed. HOWEVER. Haha. I can't for the life of me, figure out how to factor in overtime. I purchased the extension, but its nowhere to be found. Please help, and I'll change it to 5 stars. I have a client set up and tried to add overtime as an attribute but all it shows is priority, and bonus as 2 of the 3 options. Nowhere does it say anything about overtime. Thanks. Oh, also, i paid to have all extentions, but they all still say 1.99. Am I paying every time I add one?

Just what I needed

I’m a general contractor and bill my time out to 2-5 clients on any given month. This app has the flexibility to capture enough detail and yet still keep entries quick and easy. This is probably my second ever app review so I hope it helps the developer to keep up at delivering a great product. Many thanks.

Great App, One Suggestion

I’ve been using this app for 3 years now and it’s an amazing method to separately track hours. I haven’t had any issues with the app and recommend it to everyone I work with. Only suggestion is make a two week interval under the earnings period to see how much will be made in a biweekly pay period.

Can’t personalize settings

I love the app but there should be some sort of way to personalize the app so you change when your work week starts and end and also add overtime rate of pay after 40 hours. And I wish I didn’t have to keep putting in my hourly pay on each entry. Other than that I think the app is wonderful

Great!

Great app for keeping track of your time. Especially if you go to a lot of different jobs and do different things (I’m a plumber so I go to diff jobs a lot and sometimes do water pipe, other times gas pipe, etc.). However, I do wish there was a way to view the times per day all on the same page to make it easier to transfer it to my time sheets I have to turn in for my paycheck. Otherwise, best time app I’ve found!

The best with this app!!

One of the best apps that I’ve been through very grateful for coming across this one definitely timesaver. If anyone is having trouble, keep track of their employees or time that they are spending and want to track. This is a great app. I’m not even getting paid for this.

Love the app

This app has made it easy and convenient to keep up with time worked, breaks, and for the right individual... Pay. I would recommend adding a default salary option, so when you start a day and finish a day the pay is automatically inserted into the appropriate section.

Delighted after a few days

I just dove right in to using atWork. At first, I did not appreciate all of its features. Now, I am delighted by what it offers. It is easy to track clients, projects and tasks and to charge based on any one of those items.

I love the app

So far I love the app on how I adds up hours with the pay, and can add bonuses. There’s only one thing I didn’t like so far. I paid to get the an extension for overtime hours, but it doesn’t have the option to set it up for overtime after 40 weekly. If you can please fix that, not everyone gets overtime after 8hrs a day. Other than that, it’s a good app.

Clear and easy, but...

I think this app does the job in terms of being able to track a variety of things: paid work, projects, tasks. What’s missing is the ability to mark an entry as paid or complete. That would make this a 5-star app! Reconciling a pay check against the entries is helpful but not being able to “check off” the entries somehow is disappointing.

3 good years and then lost everything today

Paid for this app and enjoyed it simplicity for 3 years… until today the app started crashing on launch - tried everything, clean phone memory, force reset, nothing worked - had to delete the app and reinstall - lost everything and the iCloud Backup didn’t work either, got nothing to restore from… Frustrating…

Easy to use to keep track of clients and hours worked

As a feeelancer, this has been a fantastic app for keeping track of my client and different projects and tasks within each client. Makes it easy to access the overviews and tabulate hours to create invoices.

Helps me get motivated

Great to see how much I'm making and make me push through more hours, however, my pay weeks are thursday to wed and I get paid bi weekly. I wish I could program the app to tell me how much is on my current pay period or check . But the app runs sun to sat, and has no biweekly feature. I would like this function to be automatic so that I don't have to filter it every time.

Love it!

Perfect for having multiple clients that have multiple projects!! I believe I’ll wind up purchasing the unlimited entires extension. The only thing it’s missing is some settings to enter a permanent and/ or custom pay period. It would be really helpful when you’re on the overview tab. If they add that, then it would be a 5 star review!!

Great tool for any business

As a small business I love being able to track time for each of my clients either live or retroactively. Have used the app for 4.5yrs and been very happy with it

Great and useful app… major bug recently…

I love this app. I use it every work day to track my work hours. However, in the last few updates a bug has appeared. When auto location activation is active, it’s triggered twice. Then it starts two timers and when you leave the location it stops one timer and leaves the other timer running.)

Easy to use

I have been using this app for almost 2 years. Easy to use. The only thing I do not like is that you have a limited amount of entries per month. So if you work multiple shifts or jobs, you run out of input before the end of the month. You have to pay for more.

Good app needs a few more features.

Thanks for your hard work. These are a few things I would recommend to make the best app possible. Widgets for iOS 14, invoicing, and materials/expenses added per job. I would pay well more than your extension price for those features. Thank you.

So far so good

I’m just using it to track working on different tasks. At the end of the day I transfer the information manually into my Company’s system. But it does the job well and I can start, stop and edit on my iwatch which is awesome!

I love this app!

I have journaled my work for 20 years. Finally there is an app that lets me capture my logs entries as easy as a click and then let's me export for reporting. A fully journaled work history is invaluable at year end reviews, now I have it automated... Love this app!

Love this app!

Very slick interface. Little bit of a learning curve in understanding how to input and review data, but it is very helpful for me to keep track of the 2 people that help me around the barn. Would be great for self-employed folks if it let you enter a tax rate.

A flat rate field!

I’ve tried 10 different time, pay apps and this is the only one that offers a field with a flat daily rate. Not all of us work hourly.

Awesome App

What’s kind of skeptical about trying this, but I paid the extra money for the Geo fencing, and it keeps track of my hours within a couple of minutes between my two jobs. Awesome app

Not to shabby

I use this at a regular job I wish it would let me put in my hourly rate and it would add time and a half after 40hrs But overall it is the best app I have seen thus far. Thank you for this app it does save me time and money . K.P.

Very Useful

I love this app, I wasn't sure I would want the paid version, but after using the free version I knew it was worth it. Very helpful in my everyday work life.

Great for tracking random work schedule

Best hour tracking app yet. Especially if you work a lot of random scheduled weeks and overtime, it’s easy to set up and keep track!

Payroll

For a easy tracking g app this one is the bomb. If there is no need for tax and other deductions this is the app for you. Only thing I would change is 24 hr to 12 hour on the time worked.

Clean look

I love the simple & clean look. There’s no glitches and it works great! I do wish that there was a way to view more on a page, such as more jobs or an easier way to see who I worked for that week. I work hourly for multiple clients.

Handles my situation perfectly

I have three regular jobs that I track separately, and that I switch between on an hourly basis, and atWork has made doing that very easy.

Great App

I love this app. Now I don't have to worry about if my work hours are correct. I can keep track of all my hours and overtime and how much I made for the day week month and year to date.

Great app

Easy to use, lots of customizations, export data in multiple file types and it’s FREE!!! I use it to keep track of time spent on multiple clients and projects.

Great time tracker!

This app is easy to use and allows me to customize to eliminate categories I don’t use. Very user friendly! The exports to Excel make submitting a timesheet so easy! I have recommended it to my team.

I like that it gives very detailed info about your work. I export it to my computer and use it to compare to my check. Very accurate

Needs improvement

This is by far the best free version of time tracking. However it needs improvement. When a mistake is done I can’t delete or edit a client, project, or task. Also a short How-To video would be nice.

Great App!!! Needs a few things

I love this app! I notice when I put in my rate it doesn’t calculate the rate verbatim (is it subtracting for tax?) if not please add feature to turn that on/off “PAID TIME OFF” and HOLIDAY PAY Is a bit obscure, it should have a more straight forward entry (input hours to be calculated as $) I also would like to see the option to save presets for rates that change after a certain amount of hours like OVERTIME & TIME AND A HALF.
