App and website didn’t allow me to pay and didn’t process autopay on selected date. *Update: fyi if customer has an agency change, policy must be deleted off the account and then added back to pick up new agency and allow payment function, even if policy number hasn’t changed. This is not done automatically and that’s why I was unable to make payment.
I looked all over for a method to print my “Proof of Insurance” document so that I could put into car as required. Please consider adding the ability to export, save, or print the pdf documents. I am using the iOS app. Other than that, I found the app useful and easy to access now that fingerprint/face recognition has been added.
This app literally never opens up but just keeps spinning. I use Touch ID for logging in and always sign out when I am done. It always says OOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG and to refresh the app. It doesn’t say how to refresh the app. I usually have to shut my iPhone off and back on. It may take several times of doing this until it finally decides to open up. I would hate to have this happen if I was pulled over or in an accident and needed to show proof of insurance.
I downloaded the app in hopes that it would make getting information faster and easier. I entered all of the requested information but the following message appeared “Online access cannot be given with the information entered. Try again”. Nothing was highlighted so I had no way of knowing what was incorrect. I tried 3 different times with the same results. At this point I have no way of creating online access.
Won't support older iPads. Try to log in to my account through Safari but it forces me to us the app instead of the option to use a full desktop version. Try to download the app and it says my iPad is too old but I can download an older version. I say ok and it downloads. Then when I try to open it it says STOP, update required. That's it. Companies rush to have the latest an greatest and leave many customers behind with no solution but to buy more and more equipment Lousy implementation.
This is essentially an app in which to run a mobile version of the website. I use apps as an alternative to entering passwords every time I need to access an account. My phone has sufficient security for my needs; the app should at least remember my password, and ideally should have Touch ID. It is faster to use LastPass via Chrome than to use this app.
This app is a must have for Auto-Owners customers. Manage your billing account, view policy documents and policy status right from the app. Happy to be an Auto Owners customer and am excited to use the app for most of my needs.
For a company that is critical to have access to, this is the wise possible app. It has not worked properly for months and months. I am unable to check my accounts when I need to. The app loads and loads until it finally gives up. I’m about to change to a new insurance company I have access to.
Filled out all required info asked for on app to set up a payment through my bank checking account. Probably ten times. Each time I get an error message saying that “at least three alphabetic characters are required” Really? In what field? There is no place for such an entry. Guess what? I get to call Auto -Owners!! Yippee! Obnoxious phone menu, long waits-yay!!!
Got this app as a contingency for paying bill if computer WiFi is down...... I hope WiFi never goes down. You would think a company would at least prioritize bill payment in their app...login is nearly impossible with this app.
I downloaded this app to get better coverage on my car insurance, but in setting it up, when it got to the password section, I filled it out following all the criteria that they required, and it still said I didn't follow the rules. This needs to be fixed.
I recently downloaded and the app won’t correctly detect that I’m detected to the internet. It will automatically bring up the “offline” screen and dismissing it brings it right back up. This leaves me without the ability to log in and use the app at all.
Very clean app with all the necessary functionality for insurance. Easily pull up policies, insurance cards, make payments, and more. Would like to see Face ID.
Not useful... Can do more with Web version. I was unable to use 1Password or iCloud KeyChain to login... Nor able to print a receipt after making the payment... I went back to the web version. Not ready Yet.
Decent app, but there is no way to add your insurance card to Apple wallet. One of the downsides to going with a smaller insurance company. If you guys could work on integrating with Apple wallet in a future update that would be amazing
I’m sorry but not everyone can afford a new phone with an updated IOS, Thanks for taking away my ability to check and pay my insurance. This is why Apple will eventually go under!
How does this app not have the ability to export the PDF forms? Hardly ever do I have access to an airdrop printer and always try to text, email or upload it to Dropbox. Please add this common sense feature already!
I can’t add a new car. I’ve entered the vin number I don’t know how many time and it doesn’t recognize it. And it’s the correct one. Once I put the information in and it take me to blank screen and I can’t do anything with it.
Too difficult, spent 20 minutes typing in all my information that auto owners should already have, get to the end and says my info is wrong? No thanks,
Needs to add touch ID for log in. Some need face ID as well. Otherwise nice but basic app. I guess it would be nice to have on phone if you need to make a claim.
Have downloaded, deleted, and re-downloaded. Both times it simply gets hung up at the login page. It does not load. Not a very useful app if I can’t even login!
They encourage you to go paperless but provide no means for savings documents outside the app and no method for printing. An app that can’t do basic things provides little value.
Apparently the auto owners website and app are off limits to those of us who travel outside of the USA and would like to access their accounts while outside of the USA
