Learning AND earning
I’m newish to investing. Anytime I’ve ever tried before my portfolio tanked because of timing. It’s happened 3 times in 3 decades. I put money in. I watch it go down. I pull it out because I’m scared. This time was no different. I added money 2 days before the market had its worse crash in decades. 😩 But this time was different because I was able to read about trends, watch what successful portfolios were doing, and this time I didn’t get scared and pull my money at a loss. I stuck it out and now I’m up. I love this app because the info is digestible and informative. I’m actually excited about my choices. I’m making educated decisions (instead of emotional ones). Anything that is above my head, I ask ChatGPT and it explains it to me in a way I can understand. I’m loving it now. I feel like I’m learning and earning.

Honest Initial Review
I signed up for the automatic download a few months in advance due to enjoying their Twitter page and thinking “Wow: that’s actually a cool idea!” I was really excited when the app first downloaded. Went in, set up my account…BAM: “You need at least $500 in your account to use”. Oh noes! While my account has several thousands in it, it only had like $60 in buying power. So over a little bit of time, I traded off some losing stocks until my buying power was around $600. Went back to the account, set up my pilot, it went to work…BAM: subscription fee to continue use. !!! “…I can’t really afford that right now…”. I’m not very wealthy at all. My stock portfolio is from YEARS of adding money and making little trades here and there. My monthly income is tight (especially in this economy). While I figured there would probably be a fee, I thought that 1) it would be disclosed much sooner than it was and 2) it would be more in line with the value of the stock trades. For someone with a lower amount in their account, I would have figured it would have been either a lower cost (because the algorithm probably won’t make many trades with smaller accounts) or even some sort of merit system (like billed a certain percentage based on gains). While I think the app is nice and I had no issues with the use, I’m just let down that I won’t be able to use it to its full advantage until I basically find a better paying job.

Customer support???
I would rather go through customer support for this problem, but I can not figure out how to contact them without also accepting a condition which apparently gives autopilot full access to information on my email. This is NOT EVER going to happen. I’m pretty sick of companies acting like they have any right whatsoever to have or view my information outside of exactly what they need to provide their services. Please rectify this so customers can contact you in the future. Now, on to the problem. This week, after 6 months of working flawless, my autopilot app stopped connecting to my brokerage. Sometimes I get a wrong password message (the password is input correctly), and sometimes I get a message about plaid. I have heard of plaid but never used it, and know next to nothing about it. I assume this is a change from my brokerage, not autopilot. Could you please give some guidance on what to do about this? If autopilot cannot connect to my brokerage it serves no purpose. I will wait for a week to either be contacted or see an update in the app which helps customers figure out what to do in this situation. If I cannot connect by then I will have to ask for a refund and cancel my account.

Let the stock wars begin.
I trade a lot an I enjoy hurting my competitors where it counts their wallets, since our greedy politicians wish to play a game I think it very wise if we the people play the game on our terms. Truth be told though polosi is lucky she has a 100k because her portfolio is weak those companies are very volatile if you’re serious about making money on stocks my recommendation to the devs is to have the app focus real estate investing that pays dividends. Your app is good for sure but definitely can improve so anything tech is safe as long as it isn’t a company that gets political and just focuses sales. Anything dividend paying is a wise choice you can find plenty of stocks that pay monthly divs majority of the good ones are non US based companies. Definitely a cool app though you don’t need to auto you can go through an just pick from the list like a shopping list. But yes you can beat them with there own portfolio’s, keep up the good work. PS always do your research before you invest into it I’m not a licensed advisor just throwing some tips for anyone who’s interested.

Some bugs here and there but excellent support
Edit-Kudos to an extremely responsive Autopilot team, who reached out and fixed the first bug I have reported below. I am upgrading my rating for them to four stars now. One mor bug to go and they’d get a perfect five from me. The concept is good, the app is not! I have been using it for two months and keep coming across bugs every now and then. Most of these are around adding funds to a pilot where the available funds in the trading account don’t show up as available in Autopilot even after several hours. Also, on other occasions, it doesn’t reduce the balance after completing a trade, potentially creating a situation of making two transactions using the same funds accidentally. Since this cannot be allowed, the account balance turns negative and you get a message about “Insufficient funds”. Team needs to invest in getting a bigger and better I.T. team.

Neat idea, integration needs work
Been a subscriber since the ChatGPT portfolio, and paid for the quant add on subscription. Loved it with Webull or robinhood or td ameritrade. The problem is Webull and robinhood are kinda crappy brokerages, and ameritrade is now Schwab. Autopilot has been excruciatingly slow adding additional banks to integrate with. I Was very excited by beta Schwab linkage - but it’s garbage and doesn’t work at all - sometimes it knows my account balance, sometimes not, I open a position and it buys some of it, meanwhile in the app it lists everything as pending, and doesn’t report the balance for the pilot that it’s tracking. I’ve been on for about a year now, and it’s really lazy that the brokerage support has actually decreased since I started with it. Works fine on robinhood and Webull - but they're both using you as the product. The more robust brokerages all have themes that effectively accomplish the same thing as the pilots and are just infinitely smoother.

It’s like Betterment for Stock Trading
I use Betterment to invest in mutual funds, but when it comes to stocks, I have no clue what to invest in nor do I have the time to keep up-to-date with all the things going on in the stock market. This app is great because it helps me trade like the best, like Nancy Pelosi, who somehow has a really high performing stock portfolio. It’s pretty easy to set up, just put money into a Robinhood account, connect it with the app, select a portfolio, and BOOM! that’s it. Easy investing, and high returns. Also, for all the people complaining about subscription fees, make sure you invest enough money that obviously your returns are higher than the subscription fee. Also, I don’t expect to see much activity in trades, maybe once a month at most. It’s following a portfolio after all.

Download the app!
Hello all, I definitely think you should checkout the app but with a minimum of at least a $2000 deposit into your account so that your money actually does something. I invested $7500 in the middle of March and am up almost 13% percent on the account completely off of the Pelosi tracker. I think what could be done to improve this app would be averaging into the pilots position. I’m not sure if that’s the best term to use so let me explain. Initially when I deposited my money and used the Nancy Pelosi tracker it went all in. So some of the stocks that she is invested in might have been a little higher than normal which means I quite literally bought at the highs, so as the time passes I’m not making much on the position. That is probably the only real issue that I’ve came into, other than that so far so good. I also have one more thing to say, MAKE HIGH DIVIDEND PILOTS PLEASE!!!! ❤️

Subscription kills the App
Unless you investing well over 1k, that 30$ subscription charge kills your returns, might as-well invest in SPY. Thats all fine, I know what I was putting my money into. I wanted to pay for for it once and see how well it does for me. I purchased the subscription and cancelled it at the end of the day so I don’t forget in a month, doing so took away the premium subscription INSTANTLY. It spoke on how I will lose those feature when cancelling but it did not that the affect was immediate. So I payed 30$ for a few hrs of subscription. I feel like this is dishonest and would like my money back, reaching out to customer service was no help. Edit: the dev contacted me and refunded me the money and will be updating the app. Idk how to delete this review so imma just give it 5 stars.

Investing made smart!
I recently had the opportunity to try out Autopilot, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with the features and functionality it offered. First and foremost it is incredibly user-friendly. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple for users of all experience levels to find their way around. It offers a variety of tools and resources that are useful for both novice and experienced investors. Overall, I would highly recommend Autopilot to anyone looking for a comprehensive and user-friendly investing and financial application. Its robust features and personalized recommendations make it a valuable tool for investors of all levels, and its educational resources help users to continue learning and growing their financial knowledge!

Revolutionary approach to trading
This innovative app leverages the power of OpenAI's ChatGPT and the strategies of successful hedge funds to truly revolutionize the personal finance management landscape. In an age where the realm of investment and financial management can seem overly complex and daunting, this app presents a powerful, yet user-friendly solution. The app's unique selling proposition, however, is its ability to mirror the strategies of successful hedge funds. This offers an unparalleled opportunity for users to align their portfolios with top-performing funds. Moreover, the interface is clean, user-friendly, and easy to navigate. With real-time updates and analytics, users can easily track the progress of their investments, helping them make informed decisions

App is fun, support not great, and memes FTW
When I watched the GameStop debacle and afterwards saw Autopilot in build going full bore on memes, I jumped in around launch. The congress critter trackers didn’t do well for me, but the meme trackers are doing well. That memes are the winning investment strategy right now should be terrifying since fundamentals don’t matter like they did, but it’s exciting to be sure. One issue I had was being in a tracker that was retired (a bit less than a year ago). Positions were not closed out (confirmed by Chris @ autopilot), I asked for a listing of the tracker’s positions at time of close, no reply. I don’t follow the market too closely or use autopilot enough to identify bugs, but they should do better taking care of their customers and not leaving stale positions out there forever.

I was unable to withdraw funds.
I had to wait over 30 days to withdraw my funds because of a technical error. The team was very slow and left me alone to solve the technical issue to sell my securities. EDIT: The developer has commented below to make it appear that I missed a feature of the app. To be clear, I emailed Chris and screenrecorded the bug that would not let me withdraw my funds from the pilot. Then, I went into my brokerage and manually sold all my positions the pilot had bought, and the automation of the pilot rebought them again. Chris offered me the solution of going into the Autopilot app and “blacklisting” 100+ stocks so the Autopilot would not buy them again. Instead of working with me to withdraw my positions when I did not want to use the app anymore, the team left me on read, took weeks to respond to emails, and in the end I had to try different iOS devices with the app to successfully get my money back.

Only For Rich People, Not People Who Want To Get Rich
I downloaded this app after seeing a video about its creation (politicians are playing the stock market while making moves that will impact it, and their moves are public, so it would likely be a good idea to follow their lead). I figured maybe I could put in a few dollars here and there, because like many of my fellow Americans, I live paycheck to paycheck. It won’t let you even access any of the information on the app unless you “will make more than $100,000 this year”. This app clearly was not made with the average working class American in mind. No one has that kind of disposable income, and if they do, truthfully, they’re not the ones who need to be playing the stocks. The only way for things to get better is for the little guys to have just as much opportunity as those on top, and in my opinion, this app is classist and counterintuitive. Great premise, poor execution.

Trustworthy early stage project — totally worth it
Love the support and how you’re able to contribute with ideas and feedback. The application is in the early stages of development so it only has some features, the core ones, but they work well. As a learning experience I think is magnificent to be able to copy some of the most renowned traders in history and see how they behave depending on the market. As I’m writing right now I had 13% gains in 3 months, which is much more than what I could ever get by myself. Definitely recommend it, just have to be patient for a bit. I work in tech so can understand the struggles of developing something like this. Great work Autopilot team!

It does the thing however
There are a very limited amount of trackers/options for autopilot trades. During my first 3 months it’s had ~3 different sell and buy cycles across the 5 different accounts I mirror in the app. Gains and losses track almost exactly to the S&P 500 during the period. You need to invest ~$100k for the fees to be better value than other ETF; and still some of the autopilot mirrorsw which include ETFs. I’ll give it another quarter to see how things go. But the apps perceived value is automating trades with “insiders” to help beat the market. With most of the weight of portfolios going toward s&p 500 companies you aren’t going to beat the market and you’ll just be gifting money in fees. It would be helpful to manage the weights of options or find companies within their portfolios and increase the weight to non s&p 500 companies based on my risk portfolio

Easy money
I’m currently on a night shift and sleep during the peak trading hours, so this is more a convenience than anything for me, allowing me to ensure trades are getting executed promptly, with minimal input from me. Based on their quarterly billing, and the average growth of the portfolios being copied, you need about 1500 dollars invested to net a profit, which should be a reasonable sum for those in their early twenties. If you don’t have that kind of cash, then you can still use the app for free (it just won’t auto-trade for you) and save until you have the capital to start making money. I’d recommend this over a mutual fund 100%, since it’s the same concept, without the early withdrawal fees.

Been good so far
I’ve been using this for almost a year. I tossed in $1500 and am up 15% currently. If you take away the charges I’m probably up 7%…a little better than a savings account. At one point I was up to 30% but that’s how it goes and the market crashed in the past week so it is what it is. I’ve been with the Burry tracker the entire time. As a whole, it does what they say it will. It’s easy to use, easy to see what’s happening, and connects easy enough to my Robin Hood account. There have been a few times the connection dropped, but just quickly entered info again and it’s all good. They are good about letting you know. I do like when I see big changes happening and I get a ton of trading info in my email…kinda feels like I just hit a jackpot. I’m going to keep it going and probably add a few more thousand with my next bonus now that it’s a vetted app. If you are only going to throw in a small amount, the fees are going to kill you at about $10 per month. I suggest at least $1500 to not lose all your money on fees.

Great idea
I signed up for the auto download a few months back as the concept sounded great. I have to say, for an initial app release it works pretty well and integrated seamlessly with my Robinhood account. I expect the potential tracking options will increase as the app matures but there is a decent selection already. The price of recurring trade following was not disclosed upfront and the monthly cost really doesn’t make much sense with smaller sums in your investment account so it’s definitely a specific market. For the amount that I decided to trust to the algorithm, I feel it’s a good deal as long as the returns are there. Overall really great initial release on a really cool concept!

Great!
Don’t understand the negative comments regarding this app. It is really well done and inspired me to transfer a significant portion of my portfolio to Robinhood as they don’t support Schwab. Yes there is room for improvement like showing individual stock daily and lifetime gains, but I can always do that by looking at my brokerage account. I can now invest like insiders and the very best hedge funds. With the $100 fee, it really isn’t supposed to appeal to small accounts but is more than reasonable for moderate size accounts (10k or more). The people that run this app need to be paid, if you don’t think so, you probably shouldn’t be investing in the stock market in the first place.

Good way to passively grow investment portfolio
(First a word of warning - you want your investment in the app to be significant, the monthly cost is $30 a month so you want to make enough in growth to offset this cost the more money you have in the app the more worth it) From my experience this app is much better than trying to be an individual trying to guess the movement of the markets and doing my own research. I’m busy I work long hours and commute so I don’t have much time to invest in researching stock options. I appreciate this app for giving me the option to place my money into a diversified portfolio where I can expect decent growth. Taking out / putting in money is quite intuitive through the app and it makes it really easy to track your grains or losses total or through individual accounts. Lastly the app has this scary disclaimer saying you must make 100,000 at least a year to use it. Don’t listen to that I make significantly less a year and seen significant growth with what I have been able to spare

Does way more than you’d think
Like everyone, else, I burned out on trading stocks when my dogecoin holdings cratered. Even though the markets were bad, I saw all the memes about politicians trading stocks. They get pretty great returns. But I don’t have the time or energy to sit around waiting for disclosure reports to come out and mirror those trades. Thats where autopilot comes in—it takes the trades that are making politicians and hedge funds tons of money and mirrors those trades in your own account. I believe in the stock market, but I just don’t have time to play it, nor do I want to have my money sitting there losing value to inflation. This is a win-win.

Transparent
I’ve read some negative reviews and most of them seem like their people who are broke. This is not a savings account. This is for people who have disposable income that they can afford to lose. What did you think you’re gonna get for $30 a personal investment advisor ? I think the overall strategy is solid and like any other investment, it will go up and it will go down, and you could potentially lose every last cent. If you have $100 to your name and you’re hoping this app will make you rich I’ve got news for you. You’re going to be disappointed. Like any other long-term investment plan it requires commitment over a long period of time and even then there is still no guarantees. I like it because at least it gives me an opportunity to make a respectable profit and not have to sit in the office of some high-pressure investment sales person. I don’t know about you, but I don’t care to pay for an investment sales person’s next car or their sons college education.

Awesome concept and easy to use!
The idea behind this app is such a simple but smart idea. For those who can’t be looking at a ticker all day, this takes all the legwork out of buying and trading stocks! I will mention that if you don’t have at least $500 to invest, you can’t use this app. But I’d recommend putting at least $1,000 in and picking two different funds. Again, this is not for those looking to invest $20 here and there - this is a real investment app where you have to invest real money to get real returns. If you do, then the $10 monthly fee is nothing compared to the returns.

Had to write this sorry.
The minimum need to gain access to the app is earning $100k a year. They ask this after you have provided all of your personal information to them. And are in there system. So I understand and wanted to delete my information from there system since im a small fry and all, would you believe theres no way to do that? I spend 30 minutes going thur all the buttons and policies i can find no way to accomplish the task. So I kindly asking can you…..Auto pilot take my information off your system I don't care to receive and email from you or be sold to a third party. My inbox is pretty full lol. Anyways, I will keep you in mind and I’ll “call you when I’m rich”. BTW its a great concept I saw it on IG.

Poor strategy for ChatGPT porfolio
The app functions fine, and the guys running it are probably nice guys who mean well. But the strategy is bad. They use ChatGPT to scan information about the fundamentals and rank some stocks. Then they buy those stocks, with no considerations of the technical aspects of the stock movement. They only go long, and never short. They do not use stop loss orders. After they hold the stock for some days, they sell it and buy something else. If the market is going up, and the stocks are going up, you will make money. If the stocks are going down you will ride them down for days (no stop loss orders in place), and then it will sell and lock in that loss. If they used AI to actively trade based on technicals, it would be awesome. But this use seems like a poorly conceived pipe dream.

Autopilot FACTS
I love this app, I hope it continues to flourish into the ultimate trading application it is bound to be. That is why I never mind the multiple updates! I don’t come from an environment that teaches the first thing about stocks. This app makes it so easy, what to buy, when to sell, when to hold, is all done for you leaving you to just add the money. I have made money and will continue to use this app forever. Trading shouldn’t just be for professional day traders, this app is how “regular” people get in the game.

Losing so much money
I got autopilot because I loved the idea. Got the premium subscription and put all of my money under Nancy P, due to the 45% gain they advertise under her portfolio. After just 3 months I have lost almost all of my money. My portfolio is currently sitting at -12% for the year. The trades are slow and often weeks behind the market. I was really hoping this app would be a great background money maker. Instead I’m becoming a full time trader working to correct the terrible buys and sells this app does on my behalf. Investing is a long game, but if I wait any longer Autopilot would have lost me all of my investments and I would be left with nothing. Don’t waste your money. Just buy a few top stocks and ride the wave. I now know why there is so much hate for this app.

NOT FOR THE “POORS”
This app is a pretty cool idea. It would be great if it would allow us “commoners“ to use it. Pretty interesting that the first question is do you make $100,000 a year? If you click no, it basically tells you you’re not cool enough to be part of this club. And if you try to link your trade account and it doesn’t have at least $500 sitting in it doing nothing then it won’t even allow you to use the app. Far be it from a simple poor common folk like myself to point out the fact that 98% of us that are trying to get into the stock market do not make $100,000 a year!!!!! We get to watch politicians and billionaires make millions upon millions upon millions of dollars but if we don’t have $500 in our brokerage account We are not allowed to follow their stock trades. If I could follow someone that is 50% above average on the market I could turn $500 into $5000 very quickly, and even though $5000 doesn’t sound like a lot of money millionaires it is a lot of money to a normal person like myself. I gave this a three star review because I can’t use it… Yet! But I will… Eventually

What percentage of cash are they holding?
I downloaded the app, but have not moved forward with selecting a portfolio and moving forward yet. I’m not sure how to contact the developer of the app, but my question is how do I know what percentage of their portfolio is in cash. I see percentages for stocks that they own but it does not say how much of their portfolios are in cash and they have sitting on the sidelines or in something that is not stock. If they have 50% of their portfolio in cash that would be great to know. Or are they 90% stock. This way I would know how bullish or bearish they are with the market. Anyway to find this out?

Great app, needs better visibility
I really like this concept and the app is great. I would love to see historical returns for different options though. For instance, when you select Michael Burry and invest, currently you can see all time total return. It would be great to see weekly, monthly, yearly, YTD. It would also be great to see these when reviewing different investment options. In theory, if you only used this for your brokerage account you could filter it there, but I have personal non-autopilot investments there which makes it hard to track. Other than that, I really like this app!

Amazing app to start investing!!!
I’m new to investing. I have a good amount of money saved but I wasn’t sure exactly how I wanted to invest it. I knew I wanted to get into the stock market but I felt intimated by it. Autopilot was so simple and made so much sense to me. What if I could just trade exactly like the pros? And what if I didn’t even have to think about it? That’s exactly what Autopilot has allowed me to do. I just copy trade the best traders out there and let them do the work. And I still make the money. Simple! Great app!!! Love it!

Broken unusable app
The dialogue tree to add money to an account is broken, will return you to the home screen if you elect to continue with the free plan. I can't use the app if you don't let me. You cannot view the trade history of an account you are already following, making reviewing potential future purchases using this service impossible. You cannot remove and reset bugged "pilots" without first selling all the associated investments, so trying to troubleshoot is out of the question. Just a broken useless app if you aren't the sort of patsy that thinks the subscription fee is worth it. If you have enough investments for this reoccurring cost to make sense, you are well beyond getting any utility from this app anyways.

More info
Seems pretty legit… however it would be nice to add something in the app to understand what basis/logic the AI is purchasing it’s picks and the length it plans to hold onto them for. Also curious to what the general length of holds are. Because I got in last week and it has already let go of all positions and reentered new positions. Maybe even an email digest if possible if nothing gets added to the app of what causes the buy/sells. Otherwise looks pretty promising!

Trust the reviews
It’s absolutely worthwhile, but even starting with $1k is slow going for me. I would aim for $2k or more, but it’s totally feasible to use this as a less stable savings account and build up to that amount over time. My one concern is that this may actually just be giving politicians more power over the stock exchange, seeing as they now know a wave of people will be buying and selling exactly what they do. It just seems like such a huge bonus to a demographic that already has such an overwhelming financial authority

Not worth it anymore
I’ve never used it to make trades, but to follow what some politicians are trading. With the most recent use of my app I was asked if I made over $100,000. After clicking no, I got another notification stating something like “our target audience makes at least $100,000 a year. Would you like to continue even though you don’t?” After reading further reviews, their fees are ridiculous to actually trade through the app and the app doesn’t even function properly. When I heard of the creator of this app on tiktok when it first launched, it was to help the general public understand where politicians are trading. Seems to have lost its initial meaning.

Simple to use, and good results so far
I started this in Dec 2023. It guided me to open an account at Robinhood, then I had my brokerage move some funds in. Link Autopilot to the Robinhood account, choose my pilot investors, and within minutes, the app made all the trades to get me started. I personally am following Burry and Simons. In 2 months, I'm up 10% in a period when the market is up 5%. If this trend continues, I'll be moving more money in. I'm a happy camper so far!

No Information
This app leads you straight into signup and linking to your investment account with very little information to build trust. There is indication in their terms and conditions that there is may be charges associated with having an autopilot account and that details about those charges may be found in the app or on the website, but I was unable to find any of that information. I was unable to complete signup because they require at least $500 in your investment account and I wasn’t willing to trust my money to an app that lacks transparency. I don’t think the app is a scam per se, but it smells of not having my best interest as an investor in mind. Great concept; execution needs work.

This is Awesome!!
Who wouldn’t want to copy the portfolios of hugely successful investors?? I don’t have the time (or skill) to pick the winners like these investing legends. And if you can’t beat them, join them. I certainly feel more comfortable copying investors with amazing track records than with my usual guesswork in the markets. So far it’s worth every penny! And it’s worked perfectly with my TD account. This would have saved me $$$$ if it was around years ago

Terrible customer service
I purchased a subscription then learned after several weeks that my brokerage (TD Ameritrade) was acquired by Schwab and Schwab was not yet supported by Autopilot. I realize that the acquisition was completely out of their control so I waited until they launched their integration with Schwab and plugged in all the credentials supposedly needed to connect to my autopilot account to my Schwab account. Things looked promising but at the end of the process it said I need to complete additional setup on the Schwab side. I contacted Schwab support and they walked me through everything I needed to do on their side and still I can’t connect Autopilot to my Schwab account. I’ve sent several emails to Autopilot support and have not gotten any responses except they’re automated “We’re on it…” message. Meanwhile, the autopilot I subscribed to has been worthless for several months while this has been going on. I emailed support about a refund if they can’t get it working and have not heard anything back. Crickets.

Great app if you’re all-in on investing!
Love the app. It’s very easy to use. I’ve sync’d it with Robinhood and I’ve put my money in Nancy and Pauly P’s tracker. I don’t have the balls to try Inverse Kramer. Signing up for the annual subscription gives you the best bang for buck app features at the lowest price. It’s worth it if you’re serious about investing and starting with at least $10k or more and doing recurring investments. Just sit back and let autopilot do it’s thing!

Don’t download
This app takes your cell number and email before it tells you what it does. Then when you get in and determine you don’t want to use it there is no place to go to cancel or deactivate your account. Isn’t there a rule for apps that you need to be able to cancel / delete your account in app? Totally disingenuous and poor user experience. It’s a decent idea at best to track public figure portfolios. You’re always at least 2 weeks behind and most figures don’t report their holdings for 45 days so this is really a gimmick for the uninformed investor. If you want to invest your money you’re better off investing in the VOO

Works
This app follows investors portfolios using ai. I got very tired of trying to keep up with trends and news to day trade and make sound long term investments but thanks to autopilot I don’t have to worry anymore and I don’t think about it while I’m at work. The 30 dollar fee is worth it for 3 months as in one month at the minimum investment of 500 I’m already up 10% stocks don’t always go up but with autopilot it pays for itself

Iris was great, this ain’t it.
Iris had much more options of people to follow. You could follow other users in addition to hedge funds and politicians. I could check the history and see if I agreed with their trades before following. This app is a shadow of the previous one. You immediately have to pick someone to follow and commit at least $500 to invest or you can’t even interact with the app. If they let me do paper trading for a month or something to get a feel for what would happen, then maybe I could trust it. But as it stands this is way too opaque and I hate that you have to commit actual money before even being able to interact with the app.

Fix your account linking process
I don’t recommend this app to anyone, I love using an app that can’t even link a account without having a fundamental issue, you rely on signing into Robinhood with a prompt popping up in the app after clicking your hyper link which never seems to happen while also giving no option to link it manual to have spent the last 30 minutes digging through what little bit of the apps ui that I have access to before signing in but there is nothing I can do I’m so glad I’ve waisted my time on setting up a robinhood account just for your app to be less useful then a paper weight

Just wants more money
New to investing and thought this looked like a good way to get started. It’s not. 1. Don’t tell you until way past the signup stage the charges for automatic investing. 2. Decided to start with the $500 minimum. Chose a portfolio to follow. After the first stock purchase Autopilot stopped because my buying power had dropped below the minimum. Contacted autopilot and they said it was a “glitch.” Apparently the only way to fix it is to give it access to more of my money. No thanks. Then to top it off, and I realize this is probably pure coincidence, the one purchase it made turned out to be one of the worst performing stocks in the portfolio.

Great Investing App
I loved the idea of this when I first heard about it, and I think the implementation has been amazing. I wanted to invest in the stock market, but I didn’t know where to start. With this, I can invest and not worry about becoming an expert on what stocks are smart to buy. I also love the layout, it has a very clean look that isn’t overwhelming to someone who doesn’t understand all the metrics associated with the stock market.

Cannot use the app yet
I tried to get started with this app and it isn’t working. I keep getting this message: “Review your Information Please make sure your information is up to date Confirm Edit” I’ve reviewed my information many times and nothing is incorrect. Pressing the confirm button doesn’t help. Update: I was able to get help from developer support and now it’s working.

Costs $10/mo
The app is good but it forces you to make the investment (min $550) before it discloses prices to continue to match the person you’re following over time. It’s $10/mo. This means you have to be investing a sizable amount in this app for the monthly fee to be worthwhile. If you’re planning on doing this with $1000 or less, don’t bother. Super shady that they don’t list the subscription price until you buy stocks. Also it somehow doesn’t go through the App Store in app purchases. It goes though custom credit card processing.

I wanted to like it, it’s a gimmick.
So I figured out there is a delay between what the pilots are doing and what autopilot does. The pilot I was following took about 2 weeks, very suboptimal and causing me to lose money. I decided to delete the pilot I was following, so that I could slowly sell the holdings to try and atleast be even. To my surprise removing a fund manager (pilot) means that autopilot will sell all holdings at market open. So now I’ve lost more money because I couldn’t sell these stocks myself when they’re supposed to be sold (without two week delay). So upset right now, autopilot should be paying me to be using this service in its current state.
