I would think since I logged into the app and website, the photos I’ve uploaded on both would all be visible in My Projects. Also, it would be nice to be able to edit the information after submitting the pic. And only being able to upload 5 pics at a time is frustrating.
Downloaded and registered. Then attempted to upload images. I gave permission for “select images”. My iPhone screen went completely white. Couldn’t do anything. I closed phone. A few minutes later I went back and gave full permission. It just stalled. I got out of the app and my phone was frozen. No apps including phone app worked. I couldn’t turn my phone off but something was working hard as my phone heated up seriously in my hand. I went airplane mode as swipes did work. It’s a 12 with latest iOS. So I put it down. I came back ten minutes later and could turn it off. I did. Later back on and deleted the app. I had to submit my photos directly to my school parentclub via email. Then I went to their website to order a yearbook. That was a clumsy process with pop ups to get a higher bill the whole way. Then a $1 “handling fee”. Times are tough and I guess existing contracts with schools set the price but allow for a surcharge. SMH at the dirty criminals that crime. Couldn’t create an app that functions but were creative enough to get that extra buck times how many books.l?! 1/64th of a star.
The concept is great, although this app doesn’t work very well with my iPhone. It doesn’t show all of the pics that I have on my phone in iPhoto. When I try to upload pics, most albums show 0 pics when I actually have very many pics in my albums. I’ve also had issues with uploading, sometimes my pics will upload sideways, and it doesn’t seem to have a way to correct this. Quite annoying. Not sure if this is an iPhone issue or not, but I hope they get this issue resolved ASAP.
Take forever to load pictures when it actually works. I haven’t been able to load pictures in two weeks. Not good when you have a deadline for pages and need pictures off a phone.
I’m seldom mean in reviews, but I just cannot believe how laughable this app is. If it isn’t rejecting my uploads, it is either posting the photos upside-down. I have managed to get four photos uploaded correctly and it has taken me over thirty minutes. The developers should be ashamed of this app, and my university should be embarrassed for utilizing it for yearbook photo submissions. Someone needs to fix this app NOW.
The idea is great, but it’s so time consuming. The new update is even worse! Before I could find the photo and send to image from the photo app. Now you must open the app and scroll until you find the picture.
Only takes a few seconds for the photo to go from the app right into the yearbook project. Simple for anyone who wants to contribute pics to the yearbook.
This app strikes me as being a bit junky. Pictures take way too long to upload and I regularly run into errors trying to upload pictures. Last update was 7 months ago and it’s just so slow to do anything.
When adding photos, the interface doesn’t show all of the photos form my photos library. Almost all albums have “0” photos in them... which isn’t true. Fix yo app!!!
Updated : excellent response from customer service having trouble getting Balfour to work. I created a username. But when i try to add a project I receive an error message. "User already contains granted access to project"
I love that I can share photos with my yearbook adviser. The yearbook staff can't be everywhere, but being able to use my mobile phone to directly upload is so easy. The app is awesome!
When you sign up you don’t create a username and when you go back to the app it asks for one. There’s no way to get a new username and when I email support, I never hear back. I have to keep creating emails and new accounts to log in and upload images.
The app gives me the option to either choose from gallery or take a picture. Gallery loads all of the albums I’ve created on my phone and Apple doesn’t sort albums in any specific order so I can’t find the album I created. What would be better is showing the user their photo library (sourceType of UIImagePickerController.SourceType.photoLibrary) or giving them the option to choose between library and camera roll.
