It just works and by far the best credit information
That’s the deal. It sets up in Apple Pay easy as pie. It doesn’t get rejected for payment. The credit utility provides your COMPLETE credit history in an easy to view fashion. In this regard it is hands down the best, nobody else even comes close. Look, if you are shopping for this card, or say nerd wallet suggested this card because you have a better chance of approval then you probably aren’t in the ‘prestige card’ market. That likely also means that you could use some credit repair. If that’s the case then this is a great card for you, particularly because you need good information to make good decisions. Also get with a credit repair agency,.. yeah it might cost 139$/ month for 6 months but isn’t that justifiable if you can be making a 450$/ month car payment instead of 872$/month FOR THE EXACT SAME CAR. Credit is a mechanical thing that can be manipulated and if you are methodical it can be create kinda like crypto farming. It’s a game that everyone has to play and this you need to understand - the odds are stacked against the loser and stacked in favor of the winners. Play to win, this card is a good step in the right direction.
I do most of my shopping at costco and they only accept a debit card for payment. There is no interest when I make my card payment on time and there is no annual fee. For my other purchases I use my mastercard.

Ohh my Goodness where do I start, I have never experienced such a horrible service in my banking life, this company first of all is behind times and technology, from the day I started business with best egg is been nothing but bad experience, they had a 0% interest intro program for 12 months and I thought I will take advantage of that and I had setup auto payment before starting to use it but for some reason their system rejected it and I was charged a late fee which I had to talk to the manager to remove the late charges, another thing is that I used the card because I was trying to purchase a car which did not go through and this was in November of last year and we are in February this is almost 4 months ago the company kept telling me that they are still investigating the cars but the car was sold to another customer and best egg is still investigating it , I had called countless times with always the same thing we are still investigating it and I just found out that they have taken away the introductory program that got me to join in the first place and on top of that I got charged for interest through no fault of my own so please take my advice and don’t join or deal with this company they are headache to deal with and extremely slow to respond to issues, I REGRET SIGNING UP.
Everything was going great UNTIL I changed my phone number. I had to call and change it which is no problem but I also forgot my password. I have called three times to get help and they keep telling me that I should be able to reset my password using an email drop box. I don’t have that option anywhere! I am waiting patiently for tech support to make that change for me so I can log back into my account BUT I was told that I needed to log into a actual computer to fix it. So I did! Still no drop down to change the option to email from my cell phone that doesn’t exist. I just want to log into my account to see my activity and not list to it on the phone.
I just got the new card yesterday. Finally excited to get to start using it. Set up the app and everything was fine. Not a great app, but enough to do what I needed. 24 hours or less from getting the card and app working, now when logging into the app it just says “there is no card to manage. Try again later or contact support”. I can log into the website and the website works even though it’s not great either. I deleted the app and reinstalled it to the same message when I try to log into my account. I’ve never had such a defunct app to manage anything. What a joke.
The app is not user-friendly in fact, it is total garbage. The only usefulness of this app is if you want to see your spending trans to view your credit card you have to go through several layers to access it if you want to view statements well that’s another thing you won’t be able to through the app you have to go through the main website, this is the worst app I’ve ever seen as far as a credit card app is concerned if I can provide less than one star, I certainly would. My review Can and most likely be updated when the developer updates the app.
This is a total mess. I got a text message asking if a transaction I made was fraud or not…I replied it wasn’t and was told to go ahead and charge it again, which I did. The next day, the card was removed from my app and I was told to call customer service. I was then told that there was a hold on my card and I went through the entire charge verification process all over again EVEN THOGH THE 2nd CHARGE I MADE WAS ALREADY APPROVED. Now, it’s been 2 days and several hours of wasted time on the phone with them and I still can not see my card on the app. Absolutely ridiculous!
I don’t use this card a lot. I was at a merchant making a purchase and he asked me do you only have a thousand dollars on this card? When my limit is actually $3400. I was making a purchase of $1,000 the card was declined. How embarrassing! I told him I will contact the merchant. I gave him my capital one card and it went through flawlessly. I was wondering what the heck happened? I never bothered to call. I will just put this card on the back burner!
I received my Best Egg credit card and it was is to activate. Within 5 minutes I set my account up online then was able to get a mobile app then add on Apple Pay and done. Ready to use 😊

Warning! Min Payment in app doesn't match Statement
I was just charged a late fee after paying on time, I couldn't figure out why until I sat down and looked at everything. The statement listed a higher amount due than the app, I didn't know this until I had logged in on my computer since there is no way to see a statment on the app. Make sure you don't trust what the app says is due, its still wrong on my account right now!
Best Egg app is extremely user friendly. I can view any and all transactions. Purchases post immediately everything is just so easy to access. Thanks Best Egg!
Was in an emergency situation and even though my card was paid off the balance hadn’t cleared and I couldn’t get a rental car for the length I needed. Thankfully cause I was stranded the company helped me by giving me daily rate and I had to pay more because of your week that it takes basically to update my balance. Thanks
The app is fine except everytime I try to make a payment it says “payment failed”, this just started happening cause I have made payments in the past . Now I have to call and make payment over the phone which takes forever
I’m new to Best Egg, and I’m worried. I can’t get their phone tree to work. No response to email… I have been waiting for a credit to post to my account for 10 days. It does not appear in the app, but it shows up on the when I login to the full website. I had to manually calculate my balance to make sure it was right. Bad app. Bad customer service
Stay as far away from best day credit cards and loans at all cost. I’ve never had a credit card company send you a payment alert the day after it’s due. I’ve never had a credit card company charge it late fee 4 PM on the duty credit predators praying on people with imperfect credit, offering loans and credit cardsjust does fast fees
The app is hot garbage. Unintuitive, looks nothing like the above screen grabs, and half the time it won’t even acknowledge your card exists when you try to sign in the pay or check it. Unimpressed. And off to call again to see why they’ve yet again locked me out of the app. :/
This app is not really even an app. It’s a total waste of time. Nothing is given in the form of information. Nothing on this app is what you say it is. You can’t keep track of anything. Most of the time it’s not current. I don’t use the card anymore because it’s impossible to keep track of anything.
I downloaded this app hoping I could manage my best egg loan with it. Unfortunately it only works for their credit card. For me, useless. I wish it worked for their loans too. So my 1 star rating is for the general usefulness of the app. It may be great if you have their credit card.
Payments made on June 22 are still not crediting my balance. You show I have $1.91 available and that is not accurate. Disappointed that I couldn’t use my card when I know I’ve been making many payments to keep my balance low. It just doesn’t make sense.
I think the people giving this app anything over one star are rating the credit card itself not the app. I cant seem to make a payment. I currently owe $285 but it says I owe $63 under the “what” tab. Someone at corporate thinks they’re being clever with this one but id prefer straight forward
I haven’t been able to use the app because of technical difficulties. Online is a mess. I’m paying the card off next week. EDIT: Finally login ( not with this sorry app) but found that the info was incorrect-didn’t reflect my true credit or balance.
I have made 4 transactions on my card since I got it, and there are 3 “pending” transactions from the same stores with a zero amount, and my card balance is double what it should be. Beware!!
They closed my account without notifying me in advance just because I didn’t use it in a few months. As consequence it reduced my credit available and affected my credit score that I have worked so hard to build. LOSERS!!!
This app, even one Face ID is enabled, continually logged me out, and will not use Face ID. So, even though it’s capable of using Face ID, it basically forgets my account.
Called the tech department and are as clueless. Unable to login on the APP. No options to correct the user name nor the password. I am able to login on the web. Please consult your tech dept and fix you miserable app.
