Great app and awesome customer support!

I have nothing but nice things to say about this app. I’ve only been playing for a few months, but already have over 700 little Cowboy Reward Hats saved up. I’m hoping to get enough saved up in time for a meal credit at Binion’s Hotel and Casino on our next visit to Las Vegas. Anytime I’ve had game questions about the app and I contacted customer support, they’ve always been very helpful with answering my questions. Especially John LaSalvia from customer support, has been fantastic! He’s very helpful with any questions and concerns I’ve had about the games. Excellent customer service!

You cannot EARN stars, you have to Buy them!

They have led everyone to believe the comps/rewards are back. THEY ARE NOT! You have to PURCHASE COINS with real money in order to get any stars. They are NO stars earned from gameplay, mystery bonus etc. So deceitful! Don't be fooled! From Email from Support Team: "We're thrilled to introduce our new Star Rewards Program! With this program, players will earn STARS for every dollar spent in the app." It's important to note that since this is a new app, earning additional stars will only be possible through this rewards program. The mystery buttons and other previous methods will no longer reward stars. Please note that during the first week, there was a glitch that allowed some players to earn stars through previous methods. However, this glitch has since been resolved, and the method described above is the only way to earn stars moving forward."

Bad support advice

I was having trouble with the game giving me what was won. I contacted support and they told me to delete the app and redownload it. I did that. In the mean time I lost all progress I had made and had to start from square one. So disappointed in the support I got. And I know it’s just a game but I really liked playing it.

Fun to play but freebies are unlikely

The games are fun and the bonus rounds are diverse. The problem is that you are unlikely to ever earn enough tickets to get more than a drink or a deck of cards. Read more for an explanation. You don’t get a whole lot of chips to begin but there are bonuses every two hours so you should be able to grow your stack if you are patient and begin your bets at the lowest amount. You will go up levels and accumulate tickets at a reasonable rate. As you would expect, it takes more play to increase to each higher level. So far, so good. Getting more hats for bigger prizes is a bit tricky. It turns out that only purchased coins and some freely given coins will turn into hats when they are bet. All the QOD and bonus wins don’t turn into hats when bet. Makes it really hard to advance past 300 or so hats. Also, prize redemption module doesn’t work at this time, but the developer is aware and a fix should be applied in a couple of days. Eventually BINION will let you earn a well drink and maybe a deck of cards.

Rip Off & Waste of Time!

The games are fun, and I like that you have the option to choose between Slots, Poker or Keno, but the so-called “rewards” system is a joke. You can only get reward stars through purchases, but if you do some simple math, you’ll see that these purchases are a total rip-off. For example… 2500 stars equals a $25 coupon towards either a hotel room or a restaurant. The average hotel room at Four Queens or dinner at Top of Binions costs around $100, so you would need at least 10,000 stars (4 coupons) to cover the cost. When you buy rewards, a pack of 1125 stars costs $100. So, for 10,000 stars, you would need to buy 9 packs, which would cost $900! For that price, I can go on Priceline and get airfare and 3 nights at a mid/high-end resort on the Strip, or eat dinner at Joel Robuchon. 3500 stars will get you tickets to see Mike Hammer or Hypnosis Unleashed, so you’d need to buy 3 packs of stars at $300 to cover the cost. Meanwhile, tickets to see Jerry freakin’ Seinfeld at Caesars cost $70 dollars! Don’t waste your time. The Four Queens is a decent hotel, but for $1,000 you can stay there an entire week, or just find a nicer property.

Was once worth it

When I first started to play everything was fun and was earning hats a a fair rate. Now they have changed the parameters and reduced the payout of all aspects of the game making it virtually impossible to earn anything without spending a lot of time and money. They entice you with the promise of earning ‘free’ rewards and then change the game, it seems like a case of ‘bait and switch’ which borders on being illegal. It ain’t fun and sure ain’t ‘free’. It’s inconceivable, the intent is to get you into their casino, you would think they would make it easier and more enjoyable to draw people in not anger them to the point where they avoid the game and casino like the plague. Would not recommend.

Could be very fun

I like playing this game. However there is a slim chance of playing for more than 5-10 minutes at a time. They are very cheap on the coins. You don’t win as much and must bet high amounts to get to points needed to free items. Daily bonus and every 4 hours for more coins. Betting 250,000 goes fast. You have to bet 250,000 or more to get the good stuff. Any other app has daily rewards for coming back daily. I’ve been collecting coins all week and just hit 1,500,000. I’ll lose that in 6 minutes tops.

Fun to play, but support won’t reply to messages about malfunction

I like the games, especially the trivia, but when I bought chips, there was supposed to be a free spin on the wheel to get more chips. A message popped up that there was an error when loading the wheel and I never got to spin. I sent two messages and still haven't received a response. I have NEVER bought chips off of a game, but I like this one and it seemed like a good deal. Disappointed in the customer support and the resolving of their malfunction.

Rotten bonus games—if you ever get them. Terrible customer service

My husband suggested I install this app bc we like to earn freebies for our Vegas vacations. Well, don’t waste your time. You will bet the minimum bet (10k) and spend millions trying to get a bonus. When you finally do, 12 spins will get you 12k....about 1 spin. And....:That’s if you even get free spins. Usually when you finally “win” the bonus games, you will spin another wheel that has lousy multipliers that amount to nothing. Customer service is unresponsive. Absolutely worthless. Such a disappointment because we actually really do like Binion’s in Fremont.

Items for hats

This past weekend I went to Binion’s to collect my goodies. I had enough hats for the T-shirt and the sweatshirt. The staff in the players club area was very friendly. They only had the T-shirt’s in size large. The most disappointing though was the sweatshirt. The photo in the app shows a zip up hoodie and describes it as being embroidered. However, they had a tan colored sweatshirt that just had a iron on Binions logo. For that reason I am only giving them 3 stars. The process to sign up for the players club and collect was easy.

Excellent

My husband and I have been playing for about a year and enjoyed rewards from the app on our last two trips to Vegas. We were especially pleased with the voucher for the Top of Binion’s Steakhouse. We have found that we earn “hats” at a steady pace by playing once a day.

Wish it was easier to see rewards

I started playing in hopes of getting comps and or rewards when I go to Vegas but I can’t figure out how to tell or where to look or if my players card is even tied to my app and for this reason I don’t play it as much as the easier ones to check rewards

Slots of fun!

I have had so much fun playing although I don’t know what I’m doing half the time. Love the holidays theme games. Hopefully I’ll get the basic idea of what I’m doing soon. Anyway it’s a fun way to spend some downtime when home alone.

Money grab

Would expect better graphics on the slot games, not one remotely reassembles real slot machine games. The video poker is decent and like the real thing your chances of winning are slim. Everything in app is geared to selling “coins” for game play, including the extremely high minimum bets. The chances of “earning “ real prizes are only through purchases. And the coffee mug you can “earn” probably not worth what you’d “pay” for it. Lastly, there are “apps” which provide a much higher quality gaming experience than this one.

Needs an update

I’ve been enjoying the Jacks or Better video poker game but upgraded my phone today to an iPhone Xr and now the game crashes whenever I try to play. The slot games seem to still work but none of the video poker games do. Update: app is still not fixed for iOS 12.1 users, I haven’t been able to get the Video Poker to work for 2 months now. Please update!!!!

Suddenly changed the STAR reward system

It was a sub-par video poker and slot play to begin with. There are so much better options out there for just playing VP or slots. However, it did earn you STARS for playing and grinding through your hourly credits that you could earn. But just as I about got enough to STARS to earn a $25 food credit, they changed the reward system by only awarding STARS if you purchase the fake coins. The new system requires you to purchase $200 of fake coins to earn a $25 food credit. Or $150 for ONE free drink at the casino. The app is simply not fun enough to warrant this. And the sudden change in the reward system means I will be going one of the 10 other Fremont Street casinos.

One of the best gaming apps

Great graphics, daily free points By far in the top 5 gaming apps. Great customer service! Skip the others and play this one! No one gave me a darn thing to give it 5 stars. I think it’s just that good!

Developers have no clue why we play

Consumers of casino games that offer real rewards play those games to earn those rewards for free there’s no point in playing these games when you pay more for in this case the stars then you would get rewards. Why would you pay $340 to earn a $25 comp? In the developers in the casino executives behind this game need to go to myVEGAS and MGM to see how this is supposed to really work.

Unreliable chips

I love the game but notice many times the chips stop accumulating. The pink bar stops moving all together even tho I played about 30 million chips . I messaged support today about this but it looks like from other reviews that I won’t hear anything back . I’ll update my review if I get a response.

Terrible upgrade!

They updated this app and lost everything from before. I had 1.3b in coins, many hats saved, high rank in the game and lost it all. Also had some rewards I could redeem at the casino restaurant and store. Wrote to app support 2 times and no response. Overall just a horrible app and the way you did your players. Will uninstall and never play again!

Pretty OK

There are some ups and downs. The games a bit “glitchy” but otherwise it’s fun to play. You can lose your money really fast and other than buying chips it’s slow to rebuild. Prizes are real which is nice. It’s a great game, but could be better. Give it a shot.

Love this game!!

Been playing since the beginning. Have been to Vegas twice, we always stay downtown and have gotten over $300 worth of food free. Let the good times roll. Going again next year.

Binions App

Just started playing today and I love it. Love going to Binions. Every trip has been fantastic !!! Can’t wait to earn comps and rooms for my next trip. This game makes me feel like I’m there.

Friends

Game is fun to play. However, unable to load or invite friends to play. I have emailed regarding this with no response. Taking away the chance to watch video when you are out of coins wasn’t their best choice. That’s what would keep me playing longer... sad because I do enjoy Binion’s casino in Vegas but cannot warm enough to get anything.

Problems with the game

I liked the game ok, but the hats earned were always very unreliable, inconsistent.. and now I have stopped earning them completely. Unless resolved I won’t be playing anymore. This has been going on for quite awhile now. -update. Hats earned are still incredibly unreliable and seem to have no consistency. I would NEVER buy chips for this reason. I would be livid if I got ripped off.

Not Worth Playing At All Now, To Be Honest

myVEGAS offers better games *and* actually provides rewards without having to spend money on in-game currency that has no value otherwise. It’s very disappointing that the ability to earn stars/rewards without spending has been taken away.

Every time I want to play and it requests a review weather I give stars or not if I don’t feel like spending my playing time writing something the keyboard freezes on the screen for hours so I can’t play If you don’t want me to play then I will just delete you you still want me to rate you but I can’t because you won’t let me give you a 0

Money Grab

Before you spend a penny with them check how many stars everything costs and then how many stars you get when you buy a coin package. That is the only way to get stars. You can’t get them by playing. You end up paying many times the cost of the items.

Used to be 5star until they eliminated Comps/gifts

It’s a good slot game- but late in 2020 their web agreements forced them to eliminate Earning Complimentary Gifts at Binion’s casino in Vegas. Website wise it’s good/minor issues with poker on Apple devices but overall four stars

Customer support is great. Always helpful & quick to respond. Only reason it didn’t get 5 is because when you win big your hats stop paying off.

What’s the point?!

I don’t see a point in playing this game for comps. They have taken away the ability to earn stars with out spending money. I use to be able to level up and earn stars to trade for food and items. If I can’t earn by game what’s the point of playing. Binions really f’d this one up!!!

What happened to all my comps?

You removed the only reason there was to use your app. I was planning a trip to Vegas and when I went back to my account to redeem my points (had enough for dinner at your steak house), everything was gone. Looks like I'll be spending my money elsewhere.

MyVEGAS is much better

I’ll play it when I’m out of coins on the other game. It’s ok but not eye catching. However I don’t see ever being able to earn any real prizes. I applaud the effort though.

Rip off

Had huge balances on old app before conversion. Wiped out and now have to start over from scratch. No sense of loyalty. What is to stop them from discontinuing this apps ability to earn “cash” prizes like they did back in 2020? Extremely disappointed
