I really enjoy your app but there’s one thing that I’m not happy about. The map on the main page. It should be in a side space. Not the main page. Now I have trouble looking for what I need to find. The page where I sent the bitcoin and when it’s received. I really think you need to rearrange this app so it’s not so confusing.
I’m a pretty new resident in the community where I am now, and found myself needing to buy some bitcoin yesterday. I looked around, searching the usual ways for finding a bitcoin ATM or retailer/dealer. It seemed Bitcoin Depot kiosks were going to be the most convenient way to go. So I got my cash in this case $190 worth, and got to the closest kiosk. Went through the process of setting up a profile which was very painless and got to the stage of feeding my money into the machine. So $20 after $20 would disappear into the machine and then finally a $10 bill to complete the $190. And so I stand there and I wait for confirmation of a purchase of I was thinking close to $190 worth of bitcoin. And I waited. Finally decided to leave the kiosk as the transaction still was processing and then some 10 minutes later I received a notification that there is $136 in my wallet on the Bitcoin Depot app. It turned out that was $136 in bitcoin and some $60 that I had fed into the machine was consumed as fees to buy the coin that I did receive. That’s absurd. $60 worth of fees. I expected some fees, but not to be ripped off by nearly a third of the amount that I fed into the machine. Whatever you do, never use one of their kiosks to buy bitcoin.
This was the second time going to the Bitcoin Depot atm to buy bitcoin with cash. It worked very smoothly. The bitcoin went to my wallet and was available for sending within an hour!! The only “con” issue is the built in exchange fee. This machine was set at $36,363/BTC. With the current price at $27,900, there is nearly a 20% difference. The ramifications of this difference is similar to my experience; I deposited $10,000 in cash and received $7,692 in btc. I’ll come back here when none of my other methods work good!
I was excited to find a bitcoin ATM only to be disappointed with this scam. I wanted to be sure I wasn’t mistaken so I went back and used it again to be sure. At no point in time or ANYWHERE does the ATM mention a 28% service fee. In fact, it clearly displays a 3.00USD fee. It would have you believe that like other ATMs it is charging you 3 bucks for the transaction. Not so. I put 260 dollars in the ATM and got 200 in bitcoin. 28% or in this case, 60 dollar “convenience fee” for using their ATM. Obviously they don’t advertise or announce this charge anywhere. It’s an absurd fee and nobody would use their product if they were honest about it. They got me, but I’m warning everyone of theirs dishonest business practices. Let’s run them out of Holiday Gas stations! Unbelievable!
This has been the most easy wallet that I had ever use, it shows me everything that I need, locations, purchase with cash, purchase online a lot of cryptocurrency that I can add and swap between them in the most easiest way. Same if I want to send or receive my currency. And the security that it offer is just the best
So I live in Alaska and I am a life long Crypto investor, I deposited 440 dollars into the atm and only received 306 dollars, which is very unnecessary, it’s wayyy cheaper to just deposit money into your bank and buy crypto. I then tried calling customer service. No one was available for the first couple calls then about 30 mins later they answer. I called back today because my money wouldn’t send thru the app they have, both times I spoke with what sounded to be Indians, and we know how they are, nothing but scammers and schemes. Good luck finding a better crypto ATM.
I put $20 in the bitcoin machine knowing I had to pay a $3 fee. Fine… I can deal with $17 . What I didn’t know was they were going to take over half of my $ leaving me with $8.63 to use out of the $20 I started with . The only reason why I didn’t give them 1 star was because I didn’t get robbed completely of my $. The fees are out of this world man. They must do something about that cause ASAP before word gets out and they lose a lot of business. Paying $12 in fees is absurd. It’s not logical at all!!!!
Easiest crypto wallet app to use on the App Store. I previously was using Trust wallet, but after glitches and delays slowing me down I decided to find a better way. The app is very easy to navigate and has no bugs or issues at all like I have experienced with other crypto wallets. I would definitely recommend this crypto wallet to a friend!
I’ve used countless wallets over the years for crypto and was surprised to find one this intuitive for new users. They give you your master keys so the security and freedom to own your own coins is there. Also the amount of cryptos this wallet supports is more than enough variety for all my crypto holdings!

Converting my cash to crypto was painless using the Bitcoin Depot app and Bitcoin Depot atm in my area. It took less than two minutes and the cash in my pocket was Bitcoin in my digital wallet. The app’s really simple to navigate and makes it easy to send and receive your cryptocurrencies.
DO NOT USE THESE ATMS!!!! First off, it’s my own fault for not being more diligent during my transaction. However, that doesn’t negate the fact that this company somehow set the price of BTC over $10,000 higher than the actual price at the time of purchase. On my receipt, they claim the BTC they sold at my particular ATM (whatever that means) was $38,000. The ACTUAL, GLOBALLY RECOGNIZED price of BTC at the time was just over $27,000. I lost over 30% of my deposit, and it doesn’t tell you there are any additional fees until it hits your wallet. I thought it was just $3 like the machine said. Phone support was sympathetic, but was very adamant that I would not be refunded the difference. That’s a crime. Way to go guys. You sure fooled me. Hopefully this saves some others from falling for the same scam.
I use the app to store my bitcoin. I had a very easy experience at the ATM. It was pretty simple to set up, and the bitcoin was received into my wallet successfully. There were nice step by step instructions for someone new to crypto.
Man I’ve tried tons of apps and ways to deposit bit coin but always got ripped off or couldn’t get it in my wallet! This was simple and easy! It was in my wallet in minutes
I downloaded this app to think I could get cash from atm selling my btc. Sure you can but this fees are absurd, anyways my money disappeared after updating to 3.0.0 after 3 days still nothing. Support keeps telling me it’s a glitch they’re working on but so far I’ve been scammed out of $45. Did I mention I had this app for one day ? Ridiculous. Stay far away from this app
I’m new to crypto and Bitcoin Depot has been nothing but amazing! I used this app to store my Bitcoin, I think it’s so cool how I can swap the Bitcoin I bought with other cryptos that are not available at their ATM. 10/10 experience!
Unable to press link buttons because they are covered by some kind of icon or something- what a terrible design- they make it impossible to enter info…tried on an iPad and got it to work but on an iPhone forget it they ask for a phone number then make it impossible to engage the button link to enter and move forward - whoever designed this is an idiot…
I have about a month using this app. And everything is smooth so far, I rate it 3 stars though cause the fees are high. So if you put in $100 you actually get about $75 out of it. They say this app is secure I don’t know how true that is. So be safe everyone and good luck.

I love their app! Not only does it look cool but it has awesome features. I like how you can search for their ATMs near you and even swap cryptos! Loving my experiences so far.
The app works well, and buying Bitcoin at the ATM is seamless. But the fees are outrageous. I only did a small deposit to try things out, and when the transaction was complete, Bitcoin Depot took just over 31% of my deposited amount. Ouch!
It took 2 hours to get to my bitcoin wallet and then the cherry on top they took hella fees on atm it was only 3 dollar fee but they took like 10 dollars of what I paid for but it worked I recommend this just the fees is the problem.
I keep trying to add ID photos, but after I take pics, (sometimes only front, sometimes front and back), the app asks for my pin and goes to the home page. The pics never upload and keep having to start over.
It’s a convenient app BUT constantly steals money!!! I’ll buy $200 in bitcoin and as soon as it uploads to the app my wallet is subtracted $60!! Not just one time but all the time. Also if you already have money in your wallet and you load more money, the previous money is subtracted from your wallet too!
I took an Uber to a few places on the list was told they cant do the transaction, bitcoin depot keeps them on the list still and tells me they can’t refund or pay for my trips to places there app tells me there are atm machines at Stay away for there map
1st day using this service and have not received my funds in my wallet. I was told that the technical dept was working on it and should be available tomorrow. Received a text saying all transactions have been completed, I have no Bitcoin still in my wallet.
For a app that takes 25% you think they could afford some customer service. And pay for faster confirmation… been 6 hours support doesn’t respond. I’d rather have a refund then the bitcoin at this point!
The latest app update made all the crypto currencies $0 so the bitcoin I own is showing that it’s worth $0. This is unsettling to say the least. Also, if you are using a bitcoin ATM, you are probably being scammed by whoever has you on the phone. Hang up.
I Deposited $500 in cash and converted it to Bitcoin. I sent the money to my fiancé. I was surprised when the transfer fee was $145. I would not have sent my money using this ATM if I had known. I did but see any fee schedule on their website. I feel that I was ripped off.
Do not download this app nor deposit any cash in the atm!! I deposited $120 cash in the atm to receive Bitcoin and only received $89 back in Bitcoin. Then when I try to send the $89 to my kraken wallet they never sent my Bitcoin!!! I’m highly upset & will never use this app again.
The ATMs show a "market" price that is way higher than actual, with no disclaimer. You'll receive 25% less value than you think. The app is buggy and the UI is juvenile. This app should not exist
Everyone talks about how easy, which it is. But fail to mention 20% plus 3 dollar fees on transactions. So you need to have crypto go up OVER 40% before you actually can profit (20% in and 20% to take out).
Used the Bitcoin Depo machine, inserted $50 and received $34. Called to complain and was told they take 28% of the amount I buy. This is not disclosed anywhere on the machine before you insert the money. You find out after they screw you.
But their reps in support are rude. They’ll hang up on you in the middle of your sentence. Also, there’s a charge of 8-20% that they don’t mention on the pay screen.
The absurdity of fees they charge is ridiculous. Stay away unless you’re willing to pay 20% in fees! You read that right. They charge up to 20% in FEES! They are ridiculous!
