This app does fairly well but there isn’t a way that I can see to view a combination of accounts. It is either all or one account. When selecting a date, it only has options up to 12 months. Would like to see 2,3,5,10 years and All Time. No way to enter a custom date other than swiping month by month. Lastly when I select a custom date it resets as I go to different pages.
The biometric sign in is constantly dropped and one has to accept it over and over with no resolution. Does not update the values of the account in the portfolio in a timely fashion: it takes more than a day. It is a very basic way to see what is happening to the money. I find it almost useless: is just a picture of how much money and of the return two days ago I need a more responsive and accurate app
I have spent hours with my financial advisor and his team trying to get this app to work and it has left me nothing but frustrated. Third party accounts are difficult to add (after multiple hour long conference calls) and once they were finally added, several stopped updating without notice. My financial advisor’s office and I have been trying to get the accounts to update for days and still can’t get Black Diamond to work. I’ve asked my advisor to find another product for his clients
This is a wonderful app for keeping track of my finances. The one unfortunate aspect is that about 6 months ago they stopped allowing me to use full-screen mode on my iPad Pro in landscape. (This is the normal view when the iPad is mounted on the Magic Keyboard.) Please fix this!
We are a firm that recently converted our business to an RIA. We chose Black Diamond as our performance reporting and aggregator engine for our business and clients. We have loved the system online as well as the app. Our clients have raved about the experience, ease of use and simple layout of information.
Can’t log in when no login appears. I was using face ID, nope. Background is there, moving across the screen. On iphone 12. Used this app for years, never had this happen.
There are a number of simple things they could do to make the experience better. There is no way on the app to provide any feedback on the usability of their app. So instead I’m providing this feedback here publicly to let others know that Blackdiamond really doesn’t care to hear about what their customers want.
Liking the app so far. I just got the new iPhone 12 pro max, I have difficulty switching between the tabs on the bottom and checking my notifications on tabs besides the home one.
For some reason, the app rejects my valid login credentials now. There’s no support - witness years of reviews with no developer responses - and the app provides no way to contact “support”. The support link provided in the App Store points to the website where they’re trying to sell to the finance industry.
Only your advisor can control the features. The user cannot even see what is possible to know what to ask for. I cannot, for example, add my bank accounts and home loan as well as my home. Not a full view of my wealth at all.
Tried logging in via iPhone app. It gets to the security verification and gives me the option to have a security code emailed to me or answer a security question. Neither method works, although both work fine on the bdreporting website. So this app is currently worthless to me.
