I love bloom!

I've been using the Bloom investing app for a few months now, and it has completely transformed the way I approach investing. As someone who’s fairly new to the world of finance, I was looking for a platform that was user-friendly, educational, and effective and Bloom delivered on all fronts. The interface is incredibly intuitive, making it easy to navigate even for beginners. I love how the app breaks down complex concepts into simple, digestible bits of information. I’ve learned so much and I’m investing for my future!

I really recommend Bloom. It’s worth the price because of the education, confidence, and safety it gives you. Plus I reached out to the team with questions and they walked me through everything personally! I’m going into my first year of college and I’ve never had a lot of access to financial advice. I’ve watched YT videos and read books, but nothing really stuck and I couldn't really keep up with it. So, I downloaded Bloom after seeing stuff about it on TikTok and was skeptical at first, but omg I’ve learned so much about personal finance, investing, and even general economic stuff. I’ve really started to budget, even opened a Roth IRA, and am investing in ETFs (which I didn't even know existed) so I’ll have thousands growing once I’m out of college. I had other apps like Robinhood before, but I mainly just lost out or if I was lucky I was only gaining like a few cents. They didn’t really help, they incentivized me to buy when I shouldn’t have. Bloom shows me risk ratings, analyst ratings and stats in a super simple but comprehensive way. They show you what everything means, so even to a complete noob like I was, everything just made sense. It made me feel so much more comfortable. Cannot recommend more!!

Before Bloom

Before Bloom I did not understand investing. I was on TikTok and came across a random question from AskReddit. The question was simple, “People who work for multi-millionaires, what crazy things have you seen?” One of the comments that were selected talked about a dad who encouraged his son to do self learning such as Khan Academy, Duolingo, and Coursera. Well the son wanted to get into investing and the dad recommended this app to him. Within 2 months the son profited $270 from the lessons the app had provided with just the free stocks he had obtained from using the oink coins. I think it’s crazy that you can make money and learn at the same time. I was very concerned in the beginning but I have become sold on this for I even have had great luck and time learning from the lessons. I can’t say more good enough things about it. There is a subscription fee but I think it’s worth it. Pay the $60 for the annual plan and just start grinding the knowledge the app has to offer. Yes can you obtain this knowledge for free else where? Of course but what this app exceeds at is the nice little package it puts everything in at your fingertips so you can just learn and grow. I recommended this 10/10.

Edit: After reaching out again and understanding my problem, they fully refunded me, which I appreciate. Great customer support always goes a long way. I still believe they should let people know what they can snd cannot do with the app based on eligibility before subscription. Otherwise, it is a good app for learning an investing if you can open up an account. ———————— I was still trying out the app, looked it up, seemed legit, so I was trying to set up an investing account which prompted me to subscribe first. After subscribing and paying $60 in advance, I was asked to fill out some details that do not apply to me. The subscription and payment should be the last step after you make sure the customer is eligible and not before. I have no use for the app and I just lost my money. I contacted them to see how I can fix it and they just said they can’t since I used the app. Of course I used it to figure it out and see if it works for me or not. I am so disappointed. I have never paid this much money for an app but I risked it because I have been struggling with other apps and this app seemed to be useful until I learned I have no use for it if i’m not eligible for investing.

I love everything about this app

Bloom has helped me start up my investing portfolio and has even hooked me up with a little bit of $ in stocks to start me off. I love how this app has shown me as well as taught me everything I know now about stocks and trading. I really enjoy learning new things and getting smarter, especially in areas I’ve never touched before. A couple of months ago I never imagined I’d be spending hundreds from my part time job paychecks on the stock market hoping to prosper, but here I am. Thank you to the bloom community for creating this app I enjoy everyday! I hope you guys will continue to update this app frequently and teach us even more things! You could even add like oink prizes for the Dictionary practice you guys are adding. If I could give ONE recommendation for you guys to work on for this app it would be making new ways to learn, study, and practice topics we’ve learned on this app, and maybe prizes for studying everyday.

Update

At first I was so obsessed with this app! It’s a fun way to learn to invest ! The only issues I have is that there is not a lot of ways to earn oinks . Most of the ways you can earn oinks is limited to 24 hours . For example: with the flashcards I can earn 240 oinks per day but I’ve seen it glitch twice on me where I reach my limit of 240 then the next morning when I have a new limit of 240 it’ll say I only completed 204 … so obviously when I try to earn more points that new day it’ll limit me to 36 since it believes I didn’t hit the limit the day before . Also, idk if it’s just me but I finished the lessons really quick and am trying to earn the stock fractions by buying the common lot box but it keeps giving me oink multiplier even though I can no longer earn oinks because the oinks only multiply with questions answered right…. I wish it would just give me fractions that I CAN use and get something out of. If you’re going to try it out I recommend for you to not purchase the whole year since it’s a little too pricy for all the glitches.

I really enjoying using Bloom. It's worth the price because of the education, confidence, and safety it gives you. I've always wanted to get into investing, but didn't know where to start or how. I downloaded Bloom after seeing videos on TikTok and was skeptical at first, but l've learned so much about investing already through their lessons they offer in the app! I've started investing in ETFs and stocks that offer dividends which I hope to start receiving soon. I had other apps like Robinhood before, but I mainly just lost out or if I was lucky I was only gaining like a few cents. They didn't really help, they incentivized me to buy when I shouldn't have. best investing app

Bloom is the best investing app out there for beginners and novices alike. It’s really aimed at the non experienced or anyone new to the stock game, but can be a good resource for the well experienced stock shareholder. Easy to learn and really fun exercises and learning activities you can try on the app that I must admit are hard to stop once you start. Bloom has a way of making the stock market easy to understand and enjoyable. They also have a great way of teaching definitions and going over tutorials that make learning actually fun and worthwhile. And the best part Bloom gives out a ton of stock that you can win over playing several different kinds of games or activities. Earn points use those points to get stock it’s so fun. They even give free stock when you first sign up. I really like this app use it much more than my other captital gaining programs out there. Great work Bloom thanks!!!

Ehh.. needs work.

My husband signed my son up for an account and he got a free stock, we deposited a little money for him to try it out and start learning about stocks and learning how to invest correctly instead of just buying stocks because he likes that company… but the only problem we have, there is no way to withdrawal the funds. He was so excited he gained $15 on a stock he purchased for $7 and it grew to $15. So he decided to sell it and wanted to withdrawal it to put with his allowance he’s been saving to buy a new video game, but it doesn’t give the parents an option to withdrawal the child’s funds. On the child’s side of the app, it does have a withdrawal option but when you click it, it says only a parent can’t withdrawal funds but there is no option on the parents side to withdrawal any funds but only deposit. Hopefully this gets fixed soon or we will have to close the account down because if we’re not able to withdrawal the funds then, there is no point in using this app because we don’t have money to just give away.

I really like the lessons. I hope I learn a lot. I look forward to all the lessons I will have. Update: The app seems to need a lot of work. My account has had frequent bugs that I have reported and the team seems slow in contacting me back. I don’t know if it is worth the $60 I spent on subscription. I hope they get things sorted out. Here are some of the issues: - doesn’t give double credit to mastery levels when oink multiplier is on - voice reading and words don’t match up - payment method for subscription switched cards without me telling it to - removed some of my “free” stock they gave me - scratch a stock doesn’t seem to be random (you will get the lowest reward each time) - gives people more stock for writing 5 star reviews - displays full SS# in non-password protected documents (instead of last 4 only) - can’t figure out how to start a new communication in their app for support - oink multiplier expired before 24 hours were up - tries to open a document up in zoom - switched how many points I could earn from 2000 to 1000 without any notification or reason - is currently having a lot of issues with autoplay in lessons (not closing previous lesson, skipping to lesson and/or mastery quiz) Unfortunately these issues didn’t appear until I signed up and PAID. I feel like a beta tester and they should give free stock to people who report bugs to them. Also the screenshots on their Apple Store page are old. Ultimately I regret subscribing.

Super fun to use

Before this app I had next to no clue about anything related to investing. The only resource I had was looking at random videos online that were always contradicting each other. Once I downloaded this app and started the lessons things finally started making sense and the details started falling into place. I love the fact that the lesson break down even the most basic things and gives you the tools you need to make informed decisions about anything you invest in. This app is honestly geared toward teens but could be just as useful for any adult who is looking for a place to start. The lessons are are easy to understand and if you still have questions or aren't understanding something there is an option to ask questions as well. Definitely recommend this to anybody looking start investing.

It’s good but the price

I was very skeptical about it at first, because it was too good to be true. But I really do think it’s insane. People have to pay $120 just to start investing, and I missed that part where I was on a free trial, and that they would be charging me after. But thank God I always put my cash app card just in case they try to charge me. There’s literally no money in the card so they wouldn’t be able to take money out, even if they wanted to. But now I’m trying to find a way to cancel the subscription but they’re not even answering my emails so they’re just gonna have to keep running into a decline card from now on. Lol But I do strongly recommend reading everything before pressing OK or confirm because that’s how people take your money. Oh, and always sign up with your Apple email. That way it’s easier for you to cancel in your Apple settings than on the website because Bloom app is making it so difficult to cancel the subscription and I don’t even know why.

Bloom Review - Great App!

The whole process as a whole is very easy and interesting. so like the app specifically for those reasons. not that much required for a set up, and the app itself is overall very addicting. I’ve definitely learned a lot from being on this app, and I’ve only been on the app for just a little. The lessons are very cute, and very teen oriented. so you don’t have to worry about it feeling like a boring personal finance class. Also, there a lot of lessons available, so you can pick and choose what interests you the most. I love the little games! I play the three card game a lot (I’ve definitely lost a lot of money from it but oh well). There are a few small glitches or inconsistencies that I see that could be fixed, but overall the oppose very well made, and very useful!

Great App

I wrote a review back in September and it got a 4 star, 6 months later its at a 5! For starters, bloom has the best support team ive ever seen. It seems the team is world wide with locations so most the time someone is always working(If its night they’ll respond right away in the morning. Not only are they fast, but they actually help. Ive reported bugs that got fixed within minutes with these guys. Pao, Larry and Samuel definitely deserve a nice paycheck. The app works great, and its every age friendly. This app has helped me shape my short term future, and it follows through with all of its promises. Parents your kid will love this, and for teens/Young adults I genuinely suggest you purchase this app if you know close to nothing. Ive even been buying my friend’s subscriptions!

The loot chests have become a scam

The app started out really great and I most definitely have gotten my money’s worth - but I will not be renewing my subscription when it is up simply because they have gone the way all apps have gone - the path of greed over service. I used to get at least one stock for every 3-5 chest I opened - now it’s been a few months. You can only earn so many links through the lessons and once you’ve taken all the lessons, potential for earning stocks or links to earn stocks goes WAY down. The fact they started selling oinks also goes to show they care more about making money than helping people learn, which was apparently the original reason for this app. That’s fine, it’s their app and they can do what they want - but when one isn’t even getting their money’s worth anymore, it’s time to jump ship.

Very Helpful, Great place to start

I’ve been using bloom for about 4 months now, and I have to say it is amazing. I’m in a parent sponsored account since I’m under 18, which gives parents potential for full control over funding on the account. I’ve learned a tremendous amount since I began the lessons on bloom. One of the best features in my opinion is the Oink System. Oinks serve as virtual currency that can be used to buy streak, saves, multipliers, mini games, “Scratch a stock” and “Guess the stock”. These two features let you buy or guess stocks up to $25 with the oinks earned in lessons and from daily trivia. Overall I feel like Bloom is a great starting place for new investors like me, and they open us to great investing potential in the future.

Paid Investing App? Joking right?

If you’re new to investing, let me save you some money right off the bat by telling you there is absolutely no reason you should be paying a monthly fee just to invest. There are hundreds if not thousands of other platforms out there that are COMPLETELY free to use, no monthly fees or commission. Them teaching you isn’t even worth that $8 a month. There are other platforms out there that will teach you, again.. free of charge. Additionally, there’s so many free articles out there as well as Investopedia. I downloaded this app just because I saw you can get “up to $75 in stock” from learning.. I figured why not when I’m bored, but the app only gave me a measly $2.50.. then expected me to pay $8 to claim it? Then telling me that I should pay because I still have the chance to win $75? Gotta be a joke. I didn’t expect to get $75, I’m sure only 0.2% of users get that.. but $2.50!? Honestly so confused how this app has so many five star ratings.

Im understanding it pretty well!

I first saw this app whilst on TikTok. I at first wasn't interested into it due to it being an investment app and i'm 16 and still in high school but i wanted to give it a try since it wouldn't hurt and i'm starting to like it! i learn the basics about investing and what stocks are and how they work as well as what type of stocks could work well for the long run as I grow into an adult and my money grows (hopefully) with me! Only downside I didn't pay attention to was I needed a guardian to look after my stuff so it was a awkward talk with my mom since she didn't know anything about it either and was pessimistic about me looking into stocks. Over all I think this a good app to approach investing for the future of my life and portfolio and i'd love to show my friends about it if they're interested!

Great investing app!

Bloom is an amazing investing app for those who are under the age of 18, as it helps teach you how to invest with so may different lessons. Learning these lessons and completing them give you a currency called “oinks” in the app, which can be converted into getting free stocks, playing stock games, and much more. Through the app, you can also deposit money to invest and choose which stocks you want easily since all the information about the stock is posted on the app. The whole app access is super cheap with all of its in-depth lessons and free stocks for one year, being totally worth the money. I feel that Bloom is a great starting tool to getting into investing, especially for those who are still young and want to learn how to invest early!

Can you transfer what’s in bloom to a new brokerage

I really like using bloom but in a few years I’ll be 18 so from then on I don’t think I’ll be using bloom anymore, esp if the app is made for teens. So if you move to another brokerage/trading platform I was curious to know if you could convert/transfer/move what you have in bloom to the new platform. Say it’s bloom to something like acorns or bloom to something like a fidelity account. Would it be possible for either? I was also wondering because if you have a certain amount of stock or shares in a company and got it for less, when you move to the new brokerage would you have what’s from bloom or would you have to go ahead and buy that stock for the newer/higher price?

Learning So Much

My parents don’t know much about investing and use an investment banker who manages their stocks, so I didn’t really know much about the stock market, and they really didn’t know much to explain to me. I decided randomly to download this app just based on the five star rating and I really really enjoyed it. The format is almost like a game that makes it fun to open the loot boxes and unlock stock fragments and they really designed it in a way that makes it fun to learn and, it’s just really enjoyable to play. I learned so much about the stock market market and I’m continuing to learn and I’m even investing in my future, which just ties it all together. I highly recommend it if you wanna learn about stocks.

If you want to learn the stock market, get this.

Honestly wasn’t expecting a whole lot from this after being let down by every other stock guru on the internet but was pleasantly surprised. Yes, you will eventually have to put money in, but you put money into the stock market to get money anyway, what’d you expect? At least now it’s going somewhere that teaches you what it’s doing. This app genuinely breaks every aspect of the stock market down into understandable and easy to navigate lessons, takes whichever and however many you want, they are short and get the point across quickly, and then show you how to apply that knowledge in the actual stock market. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best app to learn stocks

I rarely write reviews but with this app it was hard not to share my experiences. If your any age this app makes it not only fun but very simple to understand the complexity’s of the stock market and finance. I’ve learned so much from this app that if I would’ve probably tried learning my myself I would’ve either over complicated it or plainly wouldn’t have grasped but this app has made it so no matter if you may not understand it at first they will try explaining it in a whole different way until you understand and that’s amazing! I’ve invested and actually liked learning about stocks with this app!!! Hope you will too.

Was cool until changes

I've only had this app for a couple months, and I was having fun zooming through the lessons. I'm not really cool with the fact that they suddenly took away the ability to share lessons for more coins limited times per hour, with no explanation even when I asked the little robot guy in the app. That was part of my routine every hour while I'm doing other work on my phone. Of course that wasn't my ONLY incentive to do the lessons, but taking away one of the few ways for me to earn coins on an app that I pay $60 a year for is scummy. They added new things within the same update, but those are ways to spend coins, not earn them. I won't be renewing next year. I don't have time to farm coins the way you want me to if I'm really meant to get my money's worth.

Great for beginners

Bloom is a great app for beginners who don’t know very much or don’t know anything to learn about modern investing and the stock market. I personally knew absolutely nothing when I started and through the fun interactive lessons I have learned so much about the stock market and built so much confidence in myself when it comes to investing. being able to invest any amount of money is the best part because you don’t need to be rich to participate even if it’s just a dollar give some satisfaction when making a purchase or buying a stock. I recommend this to all my friends and family who want to learn about investing and find a safe fun way to invest.

Unresponsive at market open

Now that I’ve learned more I have to change my review. The reason is because just about every day at market open, the app suddenly becomes unresponsive and it takes FOREVER to load my portfolio information. Buying and selling will get stuck in processing and you can’t back out of it or anything, you just have to wait for it to finish trying to connect, which in volatile stocks can cause a huge issue especially in the morning when the market first opens up. It’s extremely frustrating to have to sit there waiting for the app to load my figures and be able to see the information since everything is changing so quickly in real time. If they can fix this I’ll change my review back to a higher rating.

I would recommend

I was on TikTok and came across a random question from AskReddit. The question was simple, "People who work for multi-millionaires, what crazy things have you seen?" One of the comments that were selected talked about a dad who encouraged his son to do self learning such as Khan Academy, Duolingo, and Coursera. Well the son wanted to get into investing and the dad recommended this app to him. Within 2 months the son profited $270 from the lessons the app had provided with just the free stocks he had obtained from using the oink coins. So I started it out a few days ago now and I’ve learned so much about stocks and markets im so greatful because it’s helps me with my school work too

Great for learning

This app seems like the best tool for someone of any age to not only learn about investing, but actively participating at the same time. I think the coolest part of the app is the fact that you can be rewarded FREE stock portions for Progression I’m your learning. For anyone who genuinely enjoys learning, this has to be one of the coolest features I’ve seen. The one hour timer until you can make coins again is also cool; I thought I’d hate it but it forces me to take a break and remember what being a human is like before I dive back in in 45 min lol. Overall: AMAZING APP AND CONCEPT!! (Also, I am totally open to a sponsorship if you’re looking for a snowboarder to rep a big flower jacket on the slopes ☺️)

Bloom makes investing easy!

As someone who didn’t know much about investing and stocks but wanted to start, bloom made it so easy. Bloom provides short, easy to follow lessons regarding terms and how to start investing for beginners. Yes you do have to pay to invest through them however as far as I’m aware the lessons are free to go though which again would be useful for someone who wants to learn but doesn’t understand much to begin with! I decided to invest through them as I learned and I’ve had fun it’s almost like duolingo but for learning investing instead of a language instead lol. Will edit if needed in future however as of now I would recommend to others!!

Blooms greatness

As a 15 year old teen with little money I think that bloom is not only a great way to learn about online investing but also the risks and the rewards that happen because of your actions. This app really helps me not only make money but they also make it enjoyable. I would say if you have a parent to sponsor the monthly subscription of $15 than it is absolutely worth it. You can start with as little as $1 and it will even help you about the right and wrong time to invest in certain companies. This app is amazing and I genuinely enjoy learning about stocks and bloom just makes it all happen. 10/10 app. Would absolutely recommend

Bloom Boom

I really enjoy the app. Not a bad lesson plan though heavy on the answers being somewhat bias towards using the app for things like deposits and such about your account on Bloom. One thing that is cool is the ability to follow other stock titans and earn free stocks similar to other apps. Main reason to like app is the simplistic view on your stocks and reminders to look at the app each day (it would be nice to be able to change the time it notifies to before or during open market timeframe). The oink section also has gone through some changes but its current iteration is solid and has great incentives on the games and lesson plans.

Great app for those needing structured intro

So far this app has been great. I think the only thing that’s the catch is the $60 yearly fee but that honestly covers the lessons and the free stocks you get in the app. Before when I first posted I said I think eventually I may stop using the app because of the $60 yearly cost but the additional add ons they are building into the app like the portfolio breakdown and additional features and lessons make it worthwhile to keep subscribing. I do hope that they continue to improve the app and maybe even incorporate more accurate data analysis and breakdown and add more complex lessons. There’s always room to improve!

Great app for beginners

App is aimed at the 10-25 audience so the lessons are sometimes way too easy (tbh, even someone as young as 8 could do many of these beginner lessons and understand fine as long as their reading skills are there). I’ve learned a lot, though, and it’s a great introduction to the stock market (plus a good way to learn about crypto, which is similar to the stock market but… very, very wild). Be aware that they charge for the year up front if you choose the lower monthly price. I think they’ve made this more obvious now than it was previously bc many users complained, but just make sure you read all your fine print. :)

If you want to feel confident about investing get bloom!

I always had an interest in investment but could never find an app that would teach me while allowing me to 1. Earn stocks by playing games and educating myself (instant dopamine!) 2. Run simulations before making changes & 3. Giving me all the information I need about a stock in one app! I’m not only more confident in what I’m investing but I can also keep up in conversations about stocks & actually sound like I know what I’m talking about. I already know that I’ll be able to see the long and short term benefits by using Bloom. I already deleted my other investment apps!

Enjoying learning and making!

I haven’t used it long but I already enjoy that I can learn to invest properly, earn free stocks, and it’s flexible with my needs. It’s very easy to understand and the lessons makes it fun for even adults. It’s great that it has been incorporated for teens (even if I don’t have one) because it makes me wish I had access to financial services like this back then. Schools definitely don’t do enough to teach us this and parents are too busy or may be struggling themselves. I’m not looking to run a hedge fund but they say the average millionaire has 7 streams of income and I’m just looking to make this one of them.

I totally love Bloom! It's totally worth the cost because it helps with education, confidence, and security. When I had questions, the team personally helped me out. It's been a total game-changer for me as I start college with limited financial advice. At first, I was unsure, but it totally blew me away. I've learned a ton about money, investing, and how the economy works. Thanks to Bloom, I've started budgeting, opened a Roth IRA, and invested in ETFs for after college. Unlike other apps, like Robinhood, where I didn't make much progress, Bloom gives clear ratings, insights, and stats in an easy way. It simplifies things for beginners like me. I can't recommend it enough!

Not sure what’s happening

Trying to subscribe using apple pay via a debit card the same way I do bunches of other transactions but for whatever reason this one keeps getting kicked back and denied. Not a huge deal but wth. I don’t doubt that’s it’s something with Apple Pay or the sequence of events that need to transpire for a transaction to go thru because I’ve had other issues before with order of events in processing. It does kind of slow down my impulse buying urge to subscribe though lol. I know this app is here to educate me to learn to invest and make money but I’ve tried other investment apps in the past and never got anywhere significant return wise. I’ll get this sorted and see where it takes me.
