I really enjoyed the apt selection process on Bluground. I knew the area where I wanted to stay, so the facade and internal pics helped a lot to see “what felt like a fit.” The decor is pleasing yet as with all furnished rentals, I bought pillows and throws at TJ Maxx to have new items that I’d be resting on. The mattress in bedroom is THE BEST I’ve ever experienced in a hotel/ rental. Bluground has nailed that! The linens while freshly packaged were a little tired looking. The box of essentials when you arrive is perfect! Toilet paper, paper towels, soap, dishwashing soap, and surface cleaner. Just lovely! I’m here for 45 days and had to get some extra pans and a baking sheet. I would use this service again for sure and recommend it to people looking for furnished w ambiance yet not overpriced. Thanks for making this product available to people!!!

Easy breezy!
My long term stay in New York was made so easy by Blueground. The apartment was exactly like it was pictured. Communication and instructions were clear and easy to follow. We did not encounter even one hiccup and that is extremely rare in today’s world! Had a light that burned out in the kitchen and I contacted them and it was fixed pronto! I also used their recommended transportation company and they were excellent too. Highly recommend Blueground to anyone and they will definitely be my go to in the future when I need a place to stay. Thank you Blueground for such excellent service! Keep up the good work.

A lot of functionality is broken
I cannot send maintenance requests or messages to the support team with this app. The message remains unsent with a “Failed to send” status and a Retry option that never works. There’s an option to view my contract, but that has never worked, it just displays a page with the message “Something went wrong” and a Retry button that never works. When a Blueground notification appears on my phone, if I tap the notification the app opens but it never indicates what the notification is for. There used to be an option to extend my lease, but that no longer exists. When I submit maintenance requests through Zendesk, I can follow progress on some requests, but not all of them, through this app. I have not yet attempted to schedule a cleaning. I’m running the latest version of the app on an iPhone 13 mini

Smooth
I really enjoyed my experience with Blueground and will be using them again. Blueground is more reliable than AirBnB since Blueground guarantees a quality and standard. The app was smooth and customer service helped me resolve my questions over the 3 months I was there. Highly recommend!

Absolutely terrible experience
Have stayed in Blueground for over 6 months previously and was a repeat customer. This time it was a terrible experience. The home had a taped showerhead that was leaking water, restroom was not working, no heat or cooling in near zero temperatures outside, non working wifi, missing basic amenities that blueground provides for the first couple of days, dirty apartment (huge egg splatter on microwave). It was totally unlivable coupled with loud construction noise outside. When I felt compelled to leave within 15 days even though I had prepaid for the whole month, support never responded to the messages. Even now 2 weeks after vacating ahead of schedule I haven’t heard back from support. Really traumatic experience and definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Not the best experience
I signed up with Blueground while on a travel nursing contracts, because I wasn’t finding any other options and I liked the amenities in a building I found with them. It is outrageously expensive with their fees and because I had to pay 3 months upfront to avoid having to pay 100s of dollars extra. More than $18,000 for 3 months! Could not see the unit or have any information about where it was located in the building before hand so it was all very risky. Also 30 day notice was required and would have to pay regardless so there’s no way really to get out of it. I’ve had many issues with the apartments since showing up, and honestly will never rent with them again, and would not recommend it.

Use Sonder, Landing, literally ANY other service
Absolutely atrocious - there is zero customer support on their team. The apartment was fine if you’re okay with paying 2.5x what these units are listed for (+ $450/mo if you need parking). It’s highway robbery. The building had major structural issues that caused leaks and drafts, etc, and thanks to Blueground, they also had no record of me being in the apartment, as they returned all mail and packages that came for me back to sender. There are so many other options that are far more client-centric than this scam. It’s not worth the headache, money, or frustration. AVOID this company at all costs.

Bad CS
1. The instructions for the lock box were incredibly wrong; it took hours for your CS rep to figure it out 2. I requested maintenance 6 days ago and nothing has been done. I have followed up everyday and get the same response, “we will email the property”. I have not received one follow up call, email or text from you on the status 3. You do not provide any bldg information, key information or anything. It has all been trial or error. For the amount of money I am paying this should be 100% perfect and seamless. I will never rent from you again and will not recommend.

Extremely dishonest business, safety issues
Blueground advertises basic, critical amenities (such as heating in Northeast apartments) and charges hefty additional fees atop monthly rent ($300 per month for heating). Then when you get to the unit, they surprise you with opaque rationing rules such as… heating is only available when outside temperatures drop below some degree limit we set. This business is dishonest, and unethically run. This is also a safety issue. I had considered extending my stay and/or moving business team travel accommodation to this service but will be avoiding in the future and letting everyone I know to avoid.

Hot Water -Kitchen sink Case not closed
The maintenance staff recomended that i run the hot water for 1/2 hour to bring up the heat. I did this but with no sucess. He said becauise the apartment had been vacant it might take some time for the faucet to work properly. After several days the problem still exists. You should be able to receive hot water after running the faucet for 10-15 seconds...the best I can get is warm water,... after some time. The bathroom system works normaly. So the case is not closed. Thank you.

Review
Apartment wasn’t as promised when I arrived. Did not have the correct parking passes on site at time of check in, nor did they have the agreed upon amount of keys. It took numerous days with no feedback on how long it was going to get the appropriate amount of keys. Also no vacuum was in the unit when signing in. Overall I was dissatisfied by the customer service provided. So others should be cognizant that the units may be nicely furnished, however if you need anything from customer support, my experience wasn’t positive.

Avoid, worst ever service
AVOID! This is a worst experience i had. We checked in the Appartment which we fully paid for 2 month about $9000 in total and found out it is in a very poor condition, old building and very strong mold smell, old dust collected in multiple places. I am expecting a baby and start constantly throwing up which lasted all night long and needed to go to the emergency in the morning. I contacted BlueGround only to find out they can’t do anything about it, and they don’t care about my health or my baby health.

Maintenance requests are broken
Our Blueground apartment itself is fine. However, the mobile app has a frustrating bug where right after a maintenance request is sent, the entire chat windows becomes blank. I know they got the request because I get a notification about a reply, but tapping on the notification sends me to the same blank screen. And you can’t view your messages on the website so this bug with the app effectively shuts off any two-way communication with Blueground.

Good but need some more work
I started use App in November. For first time user, it did the job of providing information about move-in and WiFi, etc. but after that, the App basically useless. I tried to upload photos and videos about the apartment where it needs maintenance. Never heard back from anyone from the App, nor the status of the “ticket” changes.

Words cannot describe
This was the most beautiful, accommodating Airbnb I’ve ever been to. I wouldn’t even call it an Airbnb. These are beautiful, high end apartments. And the fact that they are furnished and offer 3 month leases!!! I will always use them for my travel assignments where available!!!

My husband and I came here along with our dogs. It’s a pet-friendly apartment. We have a great times in here. The apartment is well equipped and everything things we need for living are provided. The environment is calm and pleasant. We love it👌

Poor support, worse communication
Arrived to several non-functional appliances. After a week of no support, ended up paying to fix them myself. The next day, at 8am, building maintenance arrived needing to access the unit for a WHOLE DAY to fix an issue in another unit. Claimed they told Blueground but Blueground never warned me. Was refunded partially for the inconvenience, but still was a headache every single day of the first week of my stay.

Outrageous claims on missing items
My elderly parents stayed at a unit for 4 weeks rented thru Blueground. After their departure (and return to Asia) they are claiming that my parents took multiple kitchen items and even a vacuum cleaner from the premise, and are trying to charge us $372 for the supposed missing items. Whatever the cause may be, it seems there is a big gap in their service and I would advise against anyone from using their service.

Instructions missing
1. No instructions on very confusing temperature control thermostat- no matter what adjustments I make it still blows cool air in winter ! Just figured it out No worries. 2. No instruction on electric carpet sweater on / off switch does not appear to work 3. Maintance responded to issue with hot water controls on kitchen sink (only warm water) he said just let it run I did but… still no hot water?! He was kind enough to explain washer and dryer operation. That’s it for now…thanks Need to talk about lease extension?? Jfc

Last release problems
The latest release (Feb, 2023) has broken the app functionality. Neither I nor my spouse with her phone could send any request for maintenance and see any information - only blank Support page is available. Please fix it ASAP as we have to report some issues with the apartment.

Tinder for Housing
Do you really want to sign and manage a lease through an app? I didn’t but also didn’t have many options for a short term lease. I tried and let’s just say getting a real estate broker gets you better quality and cheaper, without some fake promises about ease of use.

Keeps saying it “couldn’t find my email,” even though I registered that email through the website and got a verification email, and verified the account. Deleted the app within 30 minutes of downloading it. Don’t waste your time, it simply doesn’t work. Go to the website.

It looks like they have such and such features in the app, but having stayed in for 6 months, I can easily tell that the tickets created are not responded timely. There was a case of public urination by my vehicle in my assigned parking spot. The Blueground has never offered support here.

App doesn’t work for IOS
I’ve downloaded the app three times to my iPhone now, and all it allows me to do is link with my own email. Blueground informed me that there was an IOS version at the App Store. Not that I have found.

Do Not book with this company!
We booked a luxe $7k a month apt in Chicago with Blueground. Arrived to find out the entire building is under major renovation. The noise is so loud 8am-5pm M thru Friday. Impossible to live or work here. The company is doing nothing to help us. Not relocating, nor refunding as of yet.

Avoid this service at all costs
My entire stay was extremely below expectations and frankly put my safety at risk. The first issue was that the listing advertises parking, in the same way it advertised a security door, as an amenity, yet the building has no parking. This is true of multiple blueground properties that I checked on. While the false advertising was bad enough, I couldn’t get a response on the parking situation when I reached out to double-check until I had already started the six-hour drive to the city, and only after calling and escalating a number of times. When I asked blueground to make this right by way of a credit for the $500+ I was out of pocket (without even considering the extra inconvenience of having to park a block away in a public lot) not one person offered any regret or offered to make this right. In addition to the parking situation I tried for weeks to get the door buzzer changed so it would ring to my phone and was never able to get that done by blueground. I had over $400 worth of packages stolen because of this. During the pandemic when it is absolutely crucial for safety to have things delivered I was not able to reliably receive packages. Of minor note, I was also relying on being able to book cleanings as advertised but the app is just broken or something is wrong so that wasn’t possible. There were limited cleaning supplies provided so cleaning was very difficult. In summary, I will be telling anyone who will listen not to use this service. I lead a large team of remote workers at the third largest tech company on the planet who travel for business a lot and I will make sure none of us ever use blueground. Truly a horrible experience.
