The basic functionality works. The UI is touchy, it wants to refresh the page at the slightest upward scroll which makes you wait a few seconds for everything to load again. I wish the app would tell you if payments happened on time, what accounts are linked to it, payment and statement history, etc.
Don't believe a single 5 star review. The only reason you can have a set of reviews with only 1 and 5 star reviews is that the 1 star are true and the 5 star are fake. Worst banking app I've ever seen or tried to use. And trying to use is the right term because the functionality is so so poor that there's really no use in trying. You can't see anything other than the current usage. You can't access old statements or search for old transactions. Perfect example - had to make a big purchase on my company card. It was flagged for fraud. Instead of getting a notification thru the app, I get an email. I call the fraud line only to get put on a long hold. So to be fair BofA's customer service is as bad as the app.
As other reviews have mentioned, the app currently won’t let you do anything without an “update” but there is no new update as of now. I just downloaded the app and it was like this from the very first time I tried to open the app. What’s even worse is that B of A seems to know how bad their app is and has no interest in fixing it, only in writing obviously fake 5-star reviews to try to fix the app’s terrible rating. Look at the review distribution. There’s a ton of fake 5-star reviews inflating the score, but look at all the 1-stars. Those are the real ratings
GCA is intuitive and makes it very easy to stay on top of my Corp Card activity. I especially like the ability to review my pin as more and more hotels are requiring it at check in.
I find it incredible that an app that is supposed to support corporate users doesn’t work and hasn’t worked for quite some time. I wish I had the authority to move to another bank, I’d do it in a heartbeat!

Requires an update to run but there is no update. Uninstalled and reinstalled, but it still fails due to an unobtainable update. At least I’m not stranded while traveling.
Just downloaded the app and the first thing it says is that I need to update the app! So the rest of the app is completely useless until B of A fixes it
This is easily the most primitive banking app I have ever seen - the UI would have appeared out-of-date 20 years ago, the navigation is so unintuitive that I almost have to believe that B of A was trying to make it difficult to use, and you can’t even submit a payment for your card using the app. My company switched from Amex corporate card services to B of A, and the B of A access app alone makes me wish that the change had never occurred. I don’t say this lightly, but whoever designed this app should be ashamed, and the executive at B of A approved this app for release should be fired. This app is by a very wide measure the worst card app I have ever seen, from any bank, bar none.
I have used this since July 4th and currently it’s Sep 15. This app does not work all the time. When I try to sign in it just processes the sign in but never logs in. This app has been that way for the last three weeks. I called phone number in the app and they just said could be technical difficulties. I have colleagues that use this app and are getting the same experience as myself. This app is consistent with its inconsistency. I have to log into my computer to get any info on my card or call the phone number. Please do better.
Kinda insane that we cannot make a payment through the app (I’m sure the developer response is “it’s coming soon” but still??) Maybe if we were still in 2017 I would understand it but seriously… this just tells me BofA is really lacking in building really great software and in the end that’s what most of us interact with for our banks -through its software (apps/ website) Better software is better banking for average joe schmo’s and I do not experience that with BofA but unfortunately have to use this arm of BofA for my company
Kind of a joke of an app with VERY limited functionality. Can’t see transactions from more than 2 weeks ago, can’t see statements, can’t make payments, difficult to navigate (can’t go back to the card account from any other screen, have to re-select the card and then waaaaaiiiiit for it to load. I don’t have any personal BofA banking products at this time, and given this terrible app I don’t think I have any interest in doing business with them. I really miss my Amex corporate card.
It would be great to be be able to make card payments from the app. Having to log into my account from the computer and then get verified by email to make a payment is clunky and time consuming. Otherwise, it works pretty well.
This app is necessary for me to fill our expense reports with my company. It is mind boggling how frustrating it is to use, and when you find a workaround for the glitchyness it’s unbearably slow. Please have SW engineers comb through this and improve the user experience. It logs me out while I’m actively scrolling through my charges. I can’t view charges from more than a couple week previous. The displayed payment due date is always wrong. Face ID is repeatedly disabled.
Apps works just fine no problems. The user interface is as plan, basic, honestly it feels like its not complete or just came out of beta. Please take this as positive feed back and a way of making your app more enjoyable.
This app has so many issues and limited functionality. Even simple list scroll doesn’t work! They obviously take advantage of users because if corporate requires employees to use this card, user can’t do much, can’t leave. Expected way more from BoA!!! Gave 2 stars just because sometimes it works.
Love the convenient access to my card, instead of having to call the bank. Was able to view recent transactions, change my PIN, and set up my alerts. Love it!
I’ve removed and added the app back a few times trying to get it to work. First time opening the app I allow for notifications and it stops there. It just has the spinning icon and never goes further than that. The BofA corporate card experience has been pretty lackluster s this isn’t my only current issue. Hope we can get it all worked out.
My company just switched from Amex to BOFA and I’m trying to set up the mobile app. For three weeks now I have not been able to log in; I get this message: “We are currently experiencing technical difficulties and have been notified of the issue. Please try again later.”
The UI refreshes all the time, taking several seconds, and there’s no back button. Want to check out the menu and return to accounts? Have fun waiting 2x 10s until the overview page and account page are refreshed. Uninstalled immediately.
I use this app for my corporate card and it is terrible. You can’t make payments on it or make adjustments to your account on here. The website for BofA is equally as bad and difficult to maneuver in. Nothing about this app or their website is user friendly in the slightest.
…I’ve actually stopped using my company card to avoid having dealing with this app and instead just doing my expenses on my own personal card and reimburse through concur as usual. What sealed the deal is that there is no auto pay??????????????????????????????
Airbnb , What a horrible I have had with Airbnb.. first off I rented a house in Shelby NC.. it was full of roaches and a horrible neighborhood.. I talked to the host.. he said cancel it. And he would give me my money back. He never did .. I lost 2799 and then Airbnb changed me twice.. so now I’m out 5600 dollars.. never again..
Extremely basic UI, no functionality. I can’t even pay the balance on my account using the app and I have to log in using a browser instead? What’s the point?
This app is useless, I can check my company card balance but have to login from a browser to actually make a payment? Please update functionality to the bare minimum
Tells you to update the app to continue yet there is no update available. Can’t download and reinstall because it’s the same error. So truly useless since I can’t even get on
Worst app ever. Log ins are a hit or miss. Always having to exit app and restart. Face req. works sometimes. No convenient at all. Last review didn’t make it in here, bet this one doesn’t either.
I don’t get it. BoA’s regular iPhone is terrific. How is this app so far off from that/so limited? Doesn’t make sense. Can’t even make a payment on here.
Super sluggish app, UI works (sometimes), probably this should not be here, but it appears it can’t communicate with Apple Wallet to add the card in the wallet. Very limited functionality.
